If you are reading this review and you see the 1 star only (0 star is not available), please read and then go to a better bank. The saying of "Buyer beware" is more than factual for this bank, there fee's and how they run there system, you will be so scared to write a check let alone use your own account. Customer service all I have to say is OMG, once again it does not exist and you are doing them a favor banking there. When I would go to this branch it looked like a morgue no customers or even teh once there was and guess what they were not happy and I could not understand why it was always empty hmmm wonder why, well I found out today "Buyer beware" BBVA I am not that desperate to have an account and I can sure as hell see the Feds getting involved on this as well as I smell a huge class action law suit yip HUGE,. The Moral of the story is rip a customer off and you will eventually pay for it.

I have been a member with BBVA for almost 10 years and I haven't has bad service till now. In the moment of need they didn't care one bit. I used my Visa Debit at a gas pump in El Cajon and my card info was skimmed. Over the next 3 days BBVA let the criminal use card info at a shady ATM in El Cajon 8 times. When i was finally alerted it stopped. I found the guy and I have video and photos of him and BBVA is still holding my money like I am making it all up. They say they need to investigate it. When I ask the gas station owner if my bank has contacted him says he hasnt heard from them one time. What is there to investigate? Just give me back my money!!!! Don't use your Debit card at a gas pump. K

This is the worst experience with a bank I’ve had in my entire life. I tried to set up a business credit card here, and it has been nothing but trouble! I can’t even pay my card online so have to come in person every month to pay (it’s 2020 people), and staff don’t seem to care or prioritize my time whatsoever. The manager gave me his business card but never actually responds to any email, so what’s the point? They don’t seem to care about my business at all, but I’m definitely going back to Chase.

Thank you to BBVA Mira Mesa for providing such excellent customer service. I arrived 10 mins before closing yesterday evening. I needed to take care of a pretty large transaction. Vu (bank teller) and his Manager did a great job assisting me as well as providing additional recommendations that would further assist my needs. I would highly recommend this location to serve your banking needs. Additional information: Banking hours on YELP are current and Masks are required.

Worse bank ever and none of the employees care about their customers. They are all programmed to get you to pay more fees. They hold checks until your balance can't cover the amount and will cash your check during mid-day. This screws up those that check our balances daily and before you can make a deposit...fees galore. It's a bait and switch kind of bank. Hearltess management at all branches, especially Vista and Mira Mesa.

Do not join PNC bank. Their fraud protection and dispute process is a joke. It's the worst that I've experienced by far. I had identity theft happen and filed all the reports that I was told to file. I've disputed this with other credit accounts as well as PNC, and PNC is the only one that won't refund the fraudulent funds. I'm going to close my account after the period of time for the fraud investigation to resolve passes.

Well the locations are clean but would be nice if they had more atms available. So basically i can go to only two locations but i only withdraw from the San Isidro location. If you cannot go to either location frequently stay away. Fees are plenty and their system operación is diferente,. But for those who don't need BBVA, this bank is not for most.

Thank you to your staff. Everyone is always pleasant and ready to assist you in any way. The bank is always clean and neatly. I have no complaints and am thankful i found such a wonderful bank. Even while out of town in temecula the staff was.just as kind. I'm glad to be a part of the BBVA COMPASS family!!

This isn't a second chance for bank accounts. It falsely advertising as a second chance. They still check your credit and history of what is in chexsystems then they close the account . Customer service is a call center in Columbia, easy target on identity theft by giving your info!!!!!

Not trust worthy bank I think this bank acct opening experience was worse . Assistant manager is very rude and not able to trust her. Not worth to bank here , nothing but u will get hassel. Assistant manager do not respond nicely. Bad first experience with pnc. Not worth it.

I got to the Miramesa BBVA at 1:09pm and found a big sign saying "closed for lunch come back at 2:15"....really More than 1 hour for lunch Terrible customer service, lazy people, nothing to do with the rest of the locations. This one is the worst!!!!

Absolute DISASTER!!! Soooo disappointed in PNC (and BBVA for doing this)...VERY irresponsible. Three weeks in and I still have no online access to my account, after numerous calls, online messaging AND two trips to my local branch. PNC should be ASHAMED.

The customer service at PNC is atrocious. Just trying to replace a debt card turned into a debacle of monstrous proportions. They took over BBVA which was great to me and whom PNC employees have raked over the coals or I would not be banking here.

Don't have enough cash in hand to cash a $2000 check drawn on their bank, plus they wanna charge 2% on this check which is drawn on their bank. That's not the kind of stable bank I want to do business with. No thanks!

Absolute terrible service! Have had account with them over three years. Each time I take a check in for deposit they place a ten day hold on it. Never a returned item in my history. The manager Ryan is useless.

Worst. Try to simply change my pass word online, after 55 minutes later still no password. Something that easy. They have so many security levels they don’t even know how to proceed. Worst worst worst

This is now a PNC Bank and I had a great experience. The gentleman at the counter was kind, patient, and helpful. I hope they open more PNC locations south of here with the same customer service!

AWFUL BANK... BBVA Compass will not assist you in anything. I definitely feel like I have been ripped off! I regret opening an account here. Find a better bank, there are plenty to choose from.

Just a terrible bank. I am not sure why and how they make business. Service is horrible, products sucks only good thing is the location. Since this is not a real estate, location means nothing.

Don’t do your business in this bank, we have a savings account here, but maybe not for long, they didn’t let my 2 year old use the restroom, I had to go run down to Home Depot so she can go.

Have been banking with them since 2015. I have had no issues. Had a car loan. Staff are always friendly and super helpful. I do international wire transfers often. Very happy with this bank.

Do not bank with this unethical institution. They conveniently don't alert you when these weasels withdraw your money for themselves. SDCCU is a much better banking option.
