Hard to rate this campground... We stayed here in mid September 2016 for one night with a 30' MH and full hookups. We arrived a little bit late (5:30 pm) and a woman at the office handled our request. She was a bit indifferent, but professionally polite. The office itself looked revamped but also a little bit 'sterile'. The next day we met a man who was very dedicated and friendly. Maybe the owner (acted like he was). Very positive. The spot itself was OK - (still) a little bit rundown and there were open sewers (no lid attached). The surroundings of the place is not so comforting: some rundown mobile homes, which are accessed through the RV park. A little annoying if you're in a spot where they practically drive through. And we had bad luck since there was a dog barking half of the night nearby (couldn't pinpoint the exact location, but seemed if nobody cared...). The hookups need to be revisited, since they are just old (they did the job, but looked very shabby). Well, the restrooms... Seems to be light and absolute darkness. While the women's restrooms are completely new and nice (see photos) the men's ones are ... horrible! Sorry, there is no other word for the (current!) situation. I refrain from uploading pictures from the men's restrooms, but if you played the video game Fallout 3 or 4 you will get an idea of how they look like... I'd suggest these restrooms need to be closed until they have been revamped. Seriously! ;-) We paid almost 30$ for that one night which is perfect value for money. In the current situation the place should get a 3 star rating but as one can see the progress (--> women's restrooms) it deserves 4. Hope the management will continue to invest in this park. It has great potential since it is located pretty well in Albuquerque.

I read one of the reviews about this place and it said there's a lot of crime in a bad area. Albuquerque New Mexico is in a lot of crime and in a bad crime area in case you haven't read the news lately. This RV park however is almost like a safe haven the managers know everyone who comes in and out of this place as there's only one entrance and exit they are very close to their customers know them on first name basis the park itself is always clean,beimg that there is pretty much desert all around us an oasis if you will... everybody here waves at each other coming in and out they're polite and respectful and in my opinion this park beats the other ones by far not only in price but when you walk into the office and their manager looks you in the eye and call you by your first name security it's something that you can't pay for.oh almost forgort the son of the managers patrols all night long pretty much at random will probably just because he's concerned about people and maybe a bad crime has happened here once upon a time so he doesn't want to see his people's card again I take that with honor he might not be driving around in a brand new Dodge Ram with lights on the cab but I think his SUV will get the job done, and quite honestly it's 830 at night as I write this and I can't hear a peep in the whole RV Park so pot smoke and loud music LOL I seriously doubt it I don't work for these people I don't know these people but I respect them because they respect me and that's all that matters so I'm giving them the review that they deserve and that's a five-star!

We stayed in Palisades RV Park in Oct. 2017. Save your money. We had reserved this RV park for a week and left after two nights. We arrived late and could not find anyone who could confirm our space. We were finally directed to a pull through with over hanging tree branches that scrapped our rig. I got up the next day and spent two hours trimming branches. The space was so narrow that our fold out steps and pop outs intruded into the next space. Homeless people regularly scavenged from the dumpster next to our rig. Police show up regularly (see photo). Unattended children would play in the roads all day and night. The sewer connection backed up after one hour of use. We ended up moving to a nicer RV Park in Santa Fe. We camped at Palisades RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Location was just what we needed so we called ahead to see if we could reserve a spot for a night. The woman who answered said they don't allow reservations ahead of time, but that there was plenty of availability. We told her we probably wouldn't be getting there until 9 pm, and she assured us there would be no problem. When we pulled in, though, there was a sign on the window that said 'no vacancy' and the office was clearly closed with no after-hours number to call. I didn't give the place 1 star because we didn't actually stay, so I don't know how it is; but it seemed really weird for the front desk to indicate that late check-in was possible when it clearly isn't (and that a mostly empty RV park would suddenly fill up in one day with lots of RVs that look semi-permanant...).

Ignore the older reviews. There is new management. March 21-23, we stayed in our 40' MH for three nights. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The new owner even stopped by visit the first evening. He said that he is working hard to remodel and asked what we felt he should work on next. I would certainly stay here again. It is near some shopping and things to see. The best thing about this park is that it is QUIET. A couple of dogs were around us, but they did not misbehaved or become troublesome. The first visual impression as you drive in could be better. The site was spacious. All the hookups worked and our personal internet and Directv reception were good. The dog walk area needs improvement, so I subtracted a star.

As a return member its a great place. Manager very friendly..maintance guys great. Some neighbours as in any place can be a bit noisy but who isnt. Manager doesnt tolerate bullies or messes...shower..hot water seems to go on for ever. Alot of friendly people. Compared to a ..."high class" place we stayed before..no shootings.fights..or "messes" coming in and out..no drag raceing like some places. Even the children here are very sweet and respectful. If looking for a short or long term id suggest this place with a 5.0 stars for cleanliness..friendliness...and shopping all over the place.

Horrible! This place could be as beautiful as it was aweful! There are lots of trees (untrimmed of course) and the site we parked in was a carpet of GOAT HEAD THORNS! This made setup hard because the thorns went right through our flip flops! We had to pay for wifi which was advertised as free. The staff seemed to not care if they had clientele or not. The park could be beautiful if the management would take pride in what they have. There were several run down permanent residences there that were real eye sores scattered throughout the park and the staff were not accommodating in the least. I only gave this one star because I had to to rate it :(

I don't have any idea what this place should be like. I do know I wouldn't stay there if you paid me. I have friends staying there, and they were treated horribly. Not by management, but by tenant's there. I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anybody! I was truly afraid of being injured, or crippled, or killed there! At one time it was really a nice place, but time has taken its toll on this place. Albuquerque Police Department can give you a rundown on them also. Just keep your head on a swivel while you're there. I call em like I see them.

I think all these people don't know what they're talking about I think it's a wonderful place to live or just come and visit for one day very lovely park can ask for any nicer employees working there they do what they can do the very courteous for that I give my 5 star if those people that sing those things don't like it when they've got problems and they should go somewhere else you can't beat the price of the bathrooms eventually are going to be all remodeled they do have Wi-Fi in the park that's my opinion

Don't rent here if u want to be unfavorable and blow up and be very badly treated and be kicked out for telling manager what is wrong with the park and what needs to be fixed and wouldn't allow u to put in a shower head I medically needed plus she is kicking us out with no refund I have to be out today I paid up until 10/3/18 the office is not open on a Sunday. By law I have until the 3rd to move out and non of my friends or family will move in to this rv park cuz of what the manager is doing

To go long with the comments before. this place is always look like crap its always been shitty. They had no open spaces to stay there (right now) because everything was reserved for Balloon Fiesta. (2 months away) whenever I need a place to put my HOME. I even explained I have 2 kids and WANTED to be THERE, Because it's convenient school bus stop. But after reading these reviews I think I look for something nicer.

Very old park and trashy. There were 5 washers and 3 dryers in the laundry room but only 3 washers worked and 1 dryer. You can't get quarters at the office. The site we were in had a backed up sewer dump so it took forever to try to dump. The entrance into the park is rather challenging if you're over 40 feet. The "managers" were not very friendly.We will not ever stay there again.

Horrible customer service… The lady in the front desk does not even acknowledge you. She said that there is no available spots even though I’ve seen around 8 I asked her if there was anything for the feature, she said no no one ever moving out and there’s never gonna be any spaces available. It’s a little weird maybe the owners should look into the personal working for them

The park can blow up any time due to power boxes catching on fire and no handicap bathrooms they have fraviots that don't have to follow rules and everyone else dose they evict u out against the laws they think they don't have to follow laws or codes plus's our rent is not due until 10/3/18 she is evicting us today when we can't get a refund of the days I have paid for

Very poor conditions. Trash & animals everywhere. The park smells of pot smoke, loud music from perminent residence. Restrooms are filthy! Lots of dead trees, goathead stickers blanket the whole area. In general the R.V park is rundown outdated. Male Emoloyee acted as if i bothered him when i wanted to get my propane refilled. RUDE! I dont recommend!

Very good people. The owners are extremely helpful. The office staff are Pleasant and polite. We stayed there for a week when we had to be in Albuquerque taking care of an elderly relative. It was a nice stay. When we came back through they let us dump our tank for free.

I kinda had some beliefs from not really knowing about this RV park. Until I rented here. And I’m pretty pleased with the experience. Lynette is so helpful and does a lot to make the customers feel comfortable and safe! I’m pretty happy

It was great although the restrooms were a little beat down the over all experience was great and the office building looked better exterior than it did in the inside but the environment was also great.

Was okay just you can hear the cars speeding by on central. Clean bathrooms. Nice quiet people as neighbors.Everyone there seemed to be friendly. They do have washers and dryers on site.

Well just got here so we shall see lol. So I can not rate it at this time but if I had to I would give at least 4 stars because the 2 people we met was really nice

One of the lease expensive, but could be cleaner. Random people get in at night and knock on doors asking for money for the bus.

It's a very nice place management is awesome very laid-back you have everything you need and everyone around is very friendly.

Really a nice quiet place. Doesn't have the wifi or the swimming pool but it does give you peace and quiet.
