"Quite a popular and well maintained place"
"Was really great, really good coffee lots of friendly faces and an excellent library council office concept , for what most would say is a low socio economic area others (like me) would think it's the Taj , a few zombies here and there to spice it up a bit"
"Coles, Woolies, Chemist warehouse all the necessities you can get from, Spendless shoes and BigW for clothes and shoes and more plus a new candy store its a pretty alright shopping center although the parent room is not the best and doesn't have an included toilet so you have to leave the room to use the toilet and the toilets in that section haven't been updated in at least 10+ years so I just go to the toilet on the other end of the center"
"Parabanks is our main shopping mall and has the essentials: Coles, Woolies,Specsavers, a couple of salons, Big W, Chemist Warehouse and a liquor store"
"I bought a jumper from DESTINATION FASHION which was faulty"
Quite a popular and well maintained place. Plenty of stores that vary in what they sell. You'll be hard pressed to not find something you're looking for. Convenient stores, appliances, electronics, eye glasses, a news agency and more. There's multiple fast food restaurants nearby, plenty of bus services with a large community library and an army of area wide car parks with disabled parking. The centre itself is decent in size and predominantly one level so very assessable to everyone. I would recommend the centre and the shops within it :) If you're closer to Elizabeth City Centre or Mawson Lakes but feel like something different, then absolutely take a visit.
Was really great, really good coffee lots of friendly faces and an excellent library council office concept , for what most would say is a low socio economic area others (like me) would think it's the Taj , a few zombies here and there to spice it up a bit. Only disappointed was I didn't have any money to sample the food and excellence in mechanicary , bit of a bummer my time being controlled by finance with no opportunity to meet any new interesting nice people ,
Coles, Woolies, Chemist warehouse all the necessities you can get from, Spendless shoes and BigW for clothes and shoes and more plus a new candy store its a pretty alright shopping center although the parent room is not the best and doesn't have an included toilet so you have to leave the room to use the toilet and the toilets in that section haven't been updated in at least 10+ years so I just go to the toilet on the other end of the center.
Parabanks is our main shopping mall and has the essentials: Coles, Woolies,Specsavers, a couple of salons, Big W, Chemist Warehouse and a liquor store. Parking at certain sides of the mall (particularly around Chemist Warehouse) can be a nightmare. I would also be careful around the shops at night time as there are some questionable characters around and I have been cat called, approached & felt unsafe.
I bought a jumper from DESTINATION FASHION which was faulty. The rude woman in there began ranting, called me a liar, said GOD would judge me and when she eventually gave me a refund, she took the money out of the till and threw it on the floor. No customer service at all. I would not recommend anyone support her business. She is a nasty, horrible person. Save yourself some stress she ruined my day
I was forced to remove an item I purchased at another Kmart earlier that day I hadn't kept receipt or lost it so I had to hand back two cars I'd purchased costing me 60 dollars.or.the police were going to be rang now I haven't always been a good citizen for a streak of my life I did take item from shops and I knew ild be in trouble as how was I suppose to prove it
Parabanks shopping Centre is a decent shopping centre with plenty of stores to choose from and will cover most peoples needs. It is however also an aging shopping centre with the upstairs completely not used and many of the fittings and stores quite aged. It's still a great shopping centre but don't expect to feel like it's modern or clean feeling.
Wheelchair access is excellent, some of the stores not so much. Please spare a thought for us 'wheelies'! Chemist Warehouse and The Reject Shop are the worst for access, however, to their credit, the staff are brilliant with customer service, so it's difficult to say this is criticism, rather, please accept this as constructive comment. Thanks.
This shopping centre was alright, it had ups and downs, lets start with the ups. The design and area is fantastic, the stores inside it is everything you could ask for. Now the downs. This shopping centre is one if those shopping centres in a bit or a dodgy area. some of the people that shop here dont always make you feel exactly safe.
Only went to Big W. Got a milkshake for my 4 year old son and he dropped it outside of Wendy's whike we waited for the rest of our order but they didn't offer to give me a new one, had to buy another one for him. Thought that was a bit rough but ho hum, it wasn't their fault I know but would have been a nice gesture …
I shopped in spend less and was served my a lady named Sam. She was very helpful and very friendly. I would give her a 5 star rating but having gone to big w today to find a very minimal range of shoes I wanted. I wasn't happy nore did they sell kids dressy belts. I then had to go to target to get them.
Stopped in to shop but a visit to the loo first was required, but if you have cleaners why were the toilets so dirty especially in our covid times for keeping clean. Maybe a visit from the local health department or council need to check the centre. So we decided to shop elsewhere.
Very old, needs a revamp fast. Has shops like Coles, Woolies and big W. Food court is laughable if you can call it that, there's a nice yiros shop and st George's with 2 other cafes. The whole upstairs isn't being used but could easily bring more light to the place. meh .
Its a very popular place, especially for the local people, as it has the main necessity shops all in one building. And across the road lots of banks, food eateries and the library. Nice people as well as a clean tidy environment. Public toilets seem to be always clean.
Not the same as it used to be.. .i did Not like the look of the dining area..seemed unclean and crowded.. somewhere i wouldnt want to eat and felt like all eyes are on you as you walk past.... no thanks made me feel uncomfortable walking in and out of coles …
Decent variety of shops. A little small and cant help but feel crowded in, on most occasions I've been here. Ample parking and close to public transport, Banks and food outlets in the surrounding area, if you cant find what you want inside the shopping centre.
Great shops, the Kandy house is definitely worth a visit, Chinese takeaway has awesome fried rice and other delights, also a shop fishy ....great r ii ast and veg deal. Good butcher, great f unit and veg,and big W, Coles and Woolworths. Well worth a trip
New upgraded area is great. The toilets in the original side not so much. Absolutely appaling, they need to be updated. In the baby room there is no where to feed privately, can't fit a pram/trolley into were your suppose to change nappies etc
You can see a range of people here. Some friendly and some not so much and if you are as "lucky" as me you may even run into your mother in law. Cause lets be honest, thats what every man wants when he goes shopping with his wife right!!!!!.
Since the renovations and moving Cole's to where Harris Scarfs was it is so much better and convenient. There needs to be more of an option in the food court. Michelle's Patisserie has been closed down for a while. The new Cole's is big and
What a great place to shop I have not been to those shopping centres for at least 10 years I went back to do an old shopping way that my mum did that my mum did with the fruit and veg in all with the fruit and veg and all the shops around
I found parabanks bigw had the pj I was looking for and the staff were easy to find and helpful but saying that am i was very annoyed that I was still unable to buy under wear in the size I needed after more than a month looking for them
Was quite shocking to see security guards run off their feet, being threatened by thugs in their face, while trying to assist shops dealing with theft from undesirables all at once. Where are the police?? Good way to lose customers. Was
Has all the necessary shops for general shopping. The car park however needs some kind of reorganising. It's a nightmare parking out the front near chemist warehouse and the spaces are far too narrow. I avoid busy times for this reason.
Grubby environment, full of refugee type of people and lower socio economic lost derelict types. It just has a feel of a Government dumping ground for those type of people. I instead prefer visiting a more civil pleasant environment.
Always clean & tidy. You'll find coles & woolies & food court here. Also a wide variety of other stores. Some stores are outside in near by John St or surrounding streets. Not every store in located inside, the precinct.
Has a Woolworths and a Coles and BigW. Lots of other shops and some different eateries. Also has a Chemist Warehouse. Fairly large shopping centre. I go here occasionally when I am in the area and need something.
I Live very local to Parabanks, there's 2 small supermarkets, & it's kinda a small place, has a Big W. But it's a ok place to shop. Has the BEST Chinese take away, cheap, really good... I'm heading there now!..
A great place to shop with a mix of retail stores, supermarkets, butcher, fruit n veg and good food. Found this little gem a few months ago and I travel the 45 mins to shop there. Never over crowded either.
There's not much I visit parabanks for these days and the presence of good specialty stores has declined over the past 20 years. Main draw cards being Big W and the major supermarkets, Coles and Woolies.
Great range of shops found a lot of things I was in need of here from a lot of the places on site ample of parking area's and amenities on site for all also great places to eat inside the center too
My views ' you visit this complex watching your back! Not a nice shopping experience. Does these shops not worry for the lack of Qualified 'trained Security Guard's? Inside & outside Much Needed!...
Absolutely disgusting toilets, i went there at 0840 am, so they were barely used but found them to be grose and dirty. However an open shopping centre with plenty of shops. It would be nice to have
It's my little shopping centre with great people behind the counters of my stores. The best cafe is right next to Coles for amazing coffee and yummy food, St. George's Bakery and Coffee Lounge
Some new shops, some old shops and empty shops. Still a useful shopping centre after 40 years. Beyond Bank and Bendigo Bank service centres. Two supermarkets make this a regular shopping mall.
Although I used to "get lost" in the layout, the signs are adequate. All food stores sell very fresh food items.. Well stocked. Friendly staff and plenty of parking including disabled parking.
It's just the right size. Enough shops to enjoy but small enough to get in and out quickly. Love how Coles and Woolworths are close together so you can shop and get the best deals from both
Hot as hell in summer, air con doesn't work, customers complaining about the year and finding it hard to work in here in the heat, so uncomfortable for everyone. Cleaners are very slack.
This place looks even better inside with the refurbishment work done recently. Apart from a new coffee shop next to the entrance of the Coles supermarket nothing else seems to be new.
Being a queenslander I find attitudes towards customers poor.but then maybe I expect the same good service I get in stockyard shopping centre in rockhampton where customers are valued
Enjoyable, but being disabled, & on a gopher, I found, not enough room to maneuver, around the merchandise,....aisles, much too narrow.....in just SOME Shops !!! Nice Shopping centre.
Not enough trolley racks near disability car park. However the malls are clean, good seating, wide enough for the flow of pedestrians. Good variety of shops and food outlets.
I always have a reasonably good day when shopping here. The staff are normally cheerful & friendly, ready to assist whenever required. I thoroughly recommend this store.
The stores are always clean unfortunately my husband tends to lose his bearings due to shape of centre. Coles is great but Woollies could use enlarging and freshening up
Good smaller shopping centre, has a Great Coles Supermarket, Average Woolworths, Big W and variety of smaller shops and places to eat. Clean but the rest needs updating
I always give my change to the homeless who like to hang out out the frount. It's a small gesture but totally worth it. 777 Love one another and help those in need
Very good location. A person can buy everything of need in a single trip. The store have good quality stuff, although I don't know about the security measures there.
This used to be a decent shopping centre at one stage. The quality of the shops is just continuing to go down and down. Has all the necessary shops you need though.
Has the best Thai takeaway worth having a meal there always a must when I go there. Has quiet a few different stores to browse in a Harris scarf and big w
We shop there alot, especially at Coles .But lots of other shops to choose from we usually sit & have a coffee & tea near coles before we go home …
A, variety of shops, great cafe, awesome Lebanese breads, huge selection of whatever you need ? If, they don't have what you need ? I will be surprised
Old, outdated decor, run down, a lot of useless little shops. Not enough disabled or parent parking. Rude staff at Coles. Toilets dirty. NEEDS WORK!!
My size type of shopping area. Good number of car parks that are easy accessible to in/out doors. Lovely shops that give excellent service.
Shopping centre is dated there really isn't much calling you to go there, I feel it's well past due for a major facelift inside and out
Has multiple businesses all in the one spot so you don't have to be driving here and there multiple times to get the things you need.
Great butcher, fruit shops around. Coles and woolies. Don't feel trapped like at Elizabeth. Also cheesecake shop in vicinity.
Loved the chicken pieces and they have great service provided, wait time for cooking food great and they are super friendly.
Wow what a great place to shop, found everything I needed and more. Nice cafe's to grab a meal & drink. Thumbs up from me...
Every time I go there I discover a new shop or service. Today I knew there is a massive Indean store. But prices going up
nice peasent shopping mall, everything i needed was there and excellent yiros bar, with great service, and perfect lattee
Great place to shop, Lovley caring staff, friendly and helpful, great store layout and fantastic organic choices*
My favourite Woolworths store. Always find what I'm looking for, great range of groceries and specially items
Rough shopping centre. Upstairs shut over 15+yrs ago. Roof leaks. Not alot of money spent here in years.
It's a little dated and slightly empty. However, it has all you need for a local. Can't really go wrong.
A good medium sized shopping centre with the 2 major supermarkets & a Big W, with pleasant surrounds
It's School Holidays....Watch out for the eScooters. Or the Mobility Scooter on pension day.
I'm pleased to find good parking and everyone is so friendly. Keep up the good work. …
Friendly staff. The store was clean and tidy. However, starting to look a little tired
Parabanks coffee lounge still chit coffee way to hot other shops are amazing …
Pretty good it's a bit boring and it occasionally has a crackhead high off his face
Lovely shopping centre because it has Big W there. Great parking and plenty of it.
Renovations to centre feel wasted as shop doesn't have any stand out business
Good variety of shops with good staff. However the toilets are very dirty.
Typical suburban mall. Coles, Woolies, BIGW, cafes, lots of parking.
Not a bad shopping centre. Easy to get around d which is important.
I have no problems with this place. will continue to come back.
Spent 20+ years shopping here my parents even longer nice place
Clean centre that doesn't change much. Good variety of stores.
Love this place has the best small Chinese shop in the mall
This place needs serious looking into for stock..sama same
It's a shame it has a grubby appearance around it...
Woolies is great at Parabanks enjoy shopping there.
Nice easy place to shop. Good selection of stores
Lots of variety. Fresh food options. Good prices
It may be dated but has some good little stores
All goods I needed they had, staff where great
