"One of the best parks in Sao Paulo City, when you get in you feel like in a farm in countryside"
"Lovely shaded park full of trees, although the buildings and the park in general have a shabby kind of feel"
"Nice park, with some historical buildings"
This is a nice little park. Not quite sure what's going on here with all the chickens & birds, but we enjoy it. It's really nice to be able to come and visit the birds and animals in a really beautiful setting. We hope they keep the chickens around! This park was recently sold by the city to a private owner and we are unsure what the plans are for this space. The best part about this park is the organic farmers market every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday from 7am-12hr.
Playground
The playground is basic, but there's usually a lot of kids and families here.
Restrooms
I would bring your own toilet paper, there isn't any in the stalls, only outside on the wall.
A wonderful park with various wildlife including chickens, peacocks, horses, and a few stray cats in a beautiful, green setting. A great place for picnics. A beautiful arboretum showcasing native Brazilian trees. Normally there are many food vendors as well. Currently, due to Covid, options are limited to simple items such as ice cream and água de coco. Throughout the year it serves as a venue for concerts and festivals. Perfect for families with children.
One of the best parks in Sao Paulo City, when you get in you feel like in a farm in countryside. It is not a huge park but it is plenty of animals, chickens and cocks around, ducks, peacock, open gym, nice footpath to walk and jogging. Also an amazing architecture around the park. Busy on Sundays, but it is open the whole week till dark. Very safe!! Maybe my favourite park!!!
Lovely shaded park full of trees, although the buildings and the park in general have a shabby kind of feel. And for some inexplicable reason it is the home to hundreds of chickens, ducks and turkeys which generate a powerful stink which permeates the whole park and the peace is disturbed by their constant crowing. My suggestion - send all these birds to a farm.
Nice park, with some historical buildings. They have two small museums, and they also host an ONG that cares for stray cats. There are some farm animals that are always circulating around (like chicken and ducks, but you can also find peacocks), there are huge fish tanks, and they have some Atlantic Forest species in the park.
Beautiful park close to the Barra Funda station. It’s not difficult to get there. It’s a nice place to go during the weekend. It’s a family place with several playgrounds for the kids. There are some snack bars inside and you rather take some money than the credit card only.
Cozy park to stroll around in. Big trees kept the sun from shining in in many places, it was nice to get a break. Don't expect it to be quit though as there are about a 100 roosters in there who take turns and they are pretty loud. I enjoyed the hell out of them though
Very interesting and well maintained forest .building land scape .wanderful to go for a family walk with children . Live animal .chicken ducks birds horses small birds .goat end less things to see and enjoy it . I highly recomend to visit. With children .enjoy it
This park is really amazing. There is free animals in there. Chickens, ducks, Peacocks... There is a place for reading and small library. Three days in a week ( Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday) They have organic bazaar. This days you can have breakfast in the park.
It's a place full of animals like chicken, cats, turkeys ducks and even peacocks, with many trees even old trees, there's a outdoor gym, restaurant to buy food and drinks, there's a space for picnics, children's reading group and other things.
I don’t usually do this but… have to give this park a low rating. It is full of bird feces, everywhere - please, the city should pressure wash every centimeter of the grounds. It has a lot of potential but cleaning should be a top priority.
We loved the park! There, the ducks and hens wander freely, you can watch turtles and fish swimming in the ponds, the flora is beautiful and tropical and, if you're lucky, maybe you'll see a horse riding event.
That's is a nice park, with loads of free range chicken and birds, the are horses, and very picturesque buildings and sightings. It is interesting place in a central area, somewhere it feels time stopped.
Excellent environment to relax, listen to the birds and enjoy the nature! You can also have a nostalgic true italian flavored ice cream from the vintage machine near the playground with a fair price.
Amazing place to see nature with your family. There are lots of animals such as peacocks, chickens, roosters, cats, horses... Excellent coffee with cake, a cozy joanine party and a singular museum.
This a beautiful and well kept park with walking paths, plenty of shade, playgrounds for kids, and fountains. It's a great opportunity to see plenty of chickens, and even a monkey if you a lucky!
Run down park but with nice greenery, rustic aquarium for R$3, and an organic wknd market. . Unfortunately no bikes or skates allowed making it pretty worthless for the kiddies.
Large, beautiful park with lots of activities. There are some food trucks inside. The security staff can be a little too rough - they should improve their treatment of visitors.
Rustic park with a couple large koi ponds and wild chickens everywhere. Picnic tables are available to have lunch. It feels like you’re at a farm in the interior of Brazil.
This is my favorite parque in Sao Paolo. It combines animals, trees, views, arts, and nature at its best. Great Job for those who transformed this place. A must go place!
Large and very green. It has a nice historical side, and farm birds and fishes. Completely free. It's one of the best in SP for a nice stroll and chill afternoon.
Beautiful trees with entertaining chickens running free around the park. Maintenance is not top level, which is understandable, considering the pandemic.
Is a nice park, but need more care, old carnival and dependencies not well preserved, but still a lit of fun. Bring some corn to give to the chicken s.
Really enjoyed this park. Lots of chickens! Everywhere. Everything was closed when we were there but did enjoy the peace and all the variety of trees.
A bit anarchic with chickens under your feet wherever you go but trees and fountains everywhere. A welcome relief from the city's hassle and noise.
Trying to take a walk with my dog here yesterday but apparently you can't go inside if you're carrying a dog along. Even on a leash.
The nicest thing about this park are the farm animals roaming around. On the downside there's far too much concrete and buildings.
Love it very much.... unusual park with so many chickens, plants, horses, great entertainment on weekends.... highly recommend...
This is one of the nicest parks in Sao Paulo. A great place to exercise and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. It's beautiful.
Very Nice Park, specially that have different idea, it's nice to let your kids have look to Chicken and Roosters
This is one of the nicest parks if not the nicest in São Paulo. I hope it doesn't become a real estate project.
Calm place to go and take a break of the crazy city São Paulo, there's a gegology musuem there, it's amazing!
This is a great park! It has a lot of shade and beautiful trees with plenty of things for kids to see and do.
Great place to take small kids. Lots of animals walking around, great organic farmers market on weekends.
It's a nice place. Chickens walking freely and trees. Good choice for a picnick with friends or family.
Good place to visit in the weekends. Programmig for kids and adults alike. Better with sunny days.
Nice park with trees, and lots of birds in the middle of São Paulo. I recommend going mid week...
Nice walk and beautiful trees ...a pity that they had to cage the birds that used to roam free
If you want peace, here is the place. Very good but should be more clean or more well cared
love this park and all the animals around - also the organic vegetables market is special
Nice calm park with water fountains and lots of animals.Different to other parks in São.
My favorite park to visit on Sunday. Wonderful organic Market and delicious breakfast.
The buildings look pretty abandoned but other than that, it's a nice park for a walk.
