One of the worst customer service when I called to book an service for my Christmas Holiday. First time I called and last time as well. They treat me like a " they are the king of that kind of business." When I requested to call back, he told me to call me back again. This is the pathetic conversation I had. They gave me that type of feeling, I shouldn't call them. I will never ever call them again..... _×_ Above review when I had done before owner answer. Now I am review this again after reading the owner response. I told the "please call on my mobile, not landline." If I am Gujarati, doesn't mean that I am here for cheap price. You are not only one in the market. But give a thought, I am that type of guy, who always carefully watch about market, like everybody does. I am not asking any free service. I have call you to explore the options. But your representative says, we don't have diary to note down mobile number. How ridiculous this is. You don't have atleast that courtesy, you should take my mobile number and update the cost I want. If I am planning in advance. Why you don't? How the customer service can be, I know very well. Just improve in that area, can't loose valued customers. But weak customer service can loose your business. Teach your staff how to talk with customer? Second thing, I noticed from owner answer that no transparency between employees and staff. Your answer says it all. That's why I edit and review again. If you really want to success, train your staff well mate. Thanks for that.

USE AT LAST RESORT. Your statement is correct. As I attempted to explain but you would not let me talk, I had made an attempt to refill the fuel tank. Upon opening the tank I had discovered that their mere mm between the label of diesel and the opening of the fuel tank. Also the fuel meter was still indicating over the full line. At risk of over filling the tank and spilling fuel I decided not to proceed. Upon requesting for the keys to take photos of the fuel tank and the meter you refused. Then I offered $20 which you accepted and did not give a receipt for or any change or offer another form of payment. Regardless my previous review is based on my opinion which is correct. The vehicle provided was clean and in working order and did the job. However the rest of the experience can be improved. I hope that you improve you can and have a successful business, although ATM I would recommend other services if possible. This is my opinion, I hope other in future have a positive experience. Please review your refuelling policy as I believe this posses a danger to the operator, bystanders property and the environment. And least of all I believe it is not recommended by the manufacturer to over fill the fuel tank and may void warranty or damage the vehicle. Last of all I am no expert on the matter, this is just my opinion. Thanks if anyone reads all of this lol

Worst service ever. Don't know how to behave and talk properly. Van has to be serviced before the handover but he kept calling me in morning non-stop for more than an hour for servicing where I need to use my time, my energy and my fuel which I did. In one occasion van broke down during my working hours which was a loss and he doesn't care about it but he cares for a small scratch on van which I was charged with '$$149$$'. This was charged without any 'prior INTIMATION'. I suspect that scratch might have done by himself as he knows where I park my van( his house is near my house) and because a scratch on a van should come from any accident or someone might have done it. In this case there is no dent so no accident and its clearly was a scratch made by hand. No one will have time to scratch someone's van but this guy have who can benefit of doing that act. please don't encourage these kind of businesses which is not good for the community and for public. These type of businesses are like leech which suck your money without any proper service.

Terrible service and stupid their own policy and cheating money. I’ve rent a car through this company. It was the worse experience ever. I told them i want rent it 4th to 15th. I picked up 9am on 4th. They decided to drop off time 9am 15th themselves. How can they be so stupid. If customer say i want 4th to 15th. It means that use it until closing time on 15th or even next day before opening hours. They called me in the morning and push me to return. They mess up my whole day plan. After i returned 1:30hour late, they charge me one full day. More funny thing are that they also charge me $55 more bc of i rent it one day less during queue. And total i’ve paid extra $42. I dont even know what that for. Didnt even mention and push me to pay. I’ve rent a car so many times other company, never never seen this cheating policy. I highly NOT recommend this company for other pp at all.

Overall the price was good and service was decent. The pickup and drop off process was relatively smooth however there could definitely be admin improvements that'd make the process quicker. I wasn't charged a cleaning fee which was much appreciated! It did take a week for the $500 'hold' on my credit card to be released which I understand is the bank responsibility not the rental car company. I would recommend in future to tell customers this and offer for them to do cash or payment as a deposit, as it can just be refunded which goes immediately as opposed to a 'hold' on funds. Overall was pleased with the process and will likely hire again from Patel Car & Truck Rentals.

We hired a 12 seater bus for my son's wedding. The bus was great except a little battered. I was a little hesitant to rent from this company as most of the reviews appeared to be from people from the same community as the owners. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner was a little abrupt but to his credit he was inundated with queries and difficult customers whilst I was waiting my turn (you couldn't blame him for his mannerisms as the customers at the time were quite rude to him). I found him to be professional. The rental terms are a different compared to the norm. However, it was all upfront and reasonably priced. Thank you for providing good service and we will be back.

Its a positive experience throughout the whole process of renting the 2 vehicles from Patel Car Rentals. It will be good if they could take down the booking system in website so not to confuse new customer who is used to booking online instead of having to call in 1st and pay deposit via phone. The vehicles are clean inside out, tyres thread are good, fuel tanks are full for both and lights working fine. Like in other places, if you return the vehicles in a dirty state, they will charge you for cleaning services amounting to $70 or more for internal and external clean. I will rent again from them in the future.

The wrost service. No customer care at all. Thugs sitting there making their own rules. It was not mentioned any where that you not hire for one day but person sitting there denied give my bond back and forcefully charged for 3 days even the car was not in a good condition. As I drove the car to a far distance and the air in the tyre signal got on as he hasn’t checked the car correctly. Very dodgy never hire from hire. This guys is not even providing my invoice and being rude and for your side of story I have everything in written. So stop blaming all your customers and improve your skills and work

During a recent family vacation, I had the pleasure of renting a car with eight seats for five days. While initially I was skeptical of the company due to the negative reviews I had read, I decided to take a chance as it was the only place with an eight seater vehicle available. From the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised with the service, as the entire process went smoothly and easily. The car was not only in excellent condition, but the price was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend this business as the negative reviews that show are not accurate based on my experience with them.

Not recommended! ---Response to the owner's reply--- Your website had the car available for my dates and I followed the requirements of minimum three days rental as per the website. Nowhere it says to book minimum of seven days! If there is a requirement of calling beforehand then you should remove the online booking option! So please don't tell me that it is my fault! I would like my refund as soon as possible please.

I was explained about the terms and conditions of hire clearly on day 1 and the same is mentioned in the rental contract too.Rental fee details are very transparent. Made a booking online via website- I was called and told the vehicle was unavailable and I would receive a refund. Two weeks later and multiple phone calls and still waiting for the refund, staff member on the phone has been rude and dismissive. They have lied saying they are not open and will return my money the following day several times. Unethical and shady business, extremely unprofessional!!!

Rented a truck and a trolley from here, the truck was perfectly fine but the trolley was missing the safety pins and when using it to move my fridge the handles came out and my fridge has a massive dint and cracked inside. When speaking to the worker about this he said "it isn't his fault because you moved ir" and asked if we had "checked the trolley" before using it. Disgusting customer service!

Good service, new cars that we got. Unfortunately with the second car we got it right after the previous customer had accident (hit from behind) and the steering was shaky at the freeway. Also some crack on windscreen caused by stonechip, family not too happy with the condition of windscreen. Otherwise good option to rent for family roadtrip.

This is the second time I have used Patel Rentals and I must say that it is not only cheaper but also it is a fast friendly and efficient service. You dont necessarily need to find the cheapest rate always, its the service that counts for me. Having said that, his rates are probably the most competitive you could find in the market.
