What a horrible experience for both myself, my partner and my poor dog. Whilst away on holidays my dog ruptured his acl and needed surgery. Upon our return we made an appointment to see Dr Tim to remove bandages and discuss recovery and physio for his leg. Dr Tim was annoyed that surgery was done by another vet and he made that very evident by calling the other vet an extremely rude word (FW). Our appointment was very rushed and upsetting for us. Our priority is our dog and his welfare and wellbeing. Dr Tim contradicted himself by saying that the acl repairs itself and surgery was unnecessary. And in the next breath said he does acl surgeries all the time. Why does he do the acl surgery if the acl repairs itself? Our dogs acl was completely ruptured and he couldn’t walk. An awful experience for my dog who was very distressed. And for us we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Dr Tim behaved in a very unprofessional manner and we will be looking for another vet. Very disappointing and unpleasant.

First time visiting this clinic after I lost faith with my other vet. We attended with our passed beloved cat, not looking for answers but to organise cremation. The compassion my son and I were shown by the beautiful staff was so heartfelt. The vet looked over our boy and listened to us so he could give a little insight as to what might have happened, Holly talked us through what would happen next, even giving us both a tight loving hug. Remember we were strangers to this clinic. We returned today to make payment, different staff were on reception and after I said why I was there, they knew my cat by name without even looking me up. I found this comforting and so kind that they referred to our boy by name. It truly showed they care. If this is how they treat strangers, I can only imagine how they treat long term patients. I will be using their services for our remaining pets. Thank you so so much to the staff, you helped make an awful time a little better with your love. ❤️

Dr Tim is a very experienced and responsible veterinarian. I live in Bentleigh East, and I was recommended by my friends who have two dogs and they are looked after by Dr Tim for many years. It is worthy of travelling 30 mins. My dog was unwell, he was not eating for a few days and not interested in playing toys and he got a bad breath. Initially, I thought he got rotten teeth. Dr Tim quickly checked his temperature, body and teeth. It was respiratory infection which caused the bad breath and a little bit temperature. He said temperature is good which means dog's body is fighting with it. He gave 2 injections and told me don't need to worry and my dog should be fine in 2 days. And yes, my dog is totally fine now. I am so happy. He does not ask me to do anything extra or any treatments which are not necessary (like teeth treatment and C5 Vaccine every year - I was told to do this to my dog at the Vet near my area!!!) , and fair price.

I have had excessive fees and unnecessary procedures charged by another vet and it came to a point where i needed to stop consulting at that vet Clinic. I have been to Dr Tim's animal hospital for 10 years now and I have been happy with the high quality of service provided by Tim and his staff. . My pets have received very good treatment and expert care from Patterson Lakes Animal Hospital ,and their health and condition have improved upon the expertise provided by Dr. Tim. We had a terribly experience with this vet! We were new to the area and thought wed come here! Sadly we had to put our dog down. This was our first experience having to put an animal to sleep and he made it a horrible memory! Had I not explained to my children that we had to put our dog to sleep I would have walked out of the surgery after the first time he missed the vain!! He then proceeded to miss it 2 more times and then decided to sedate him (I would have thought that would have sedated him been first)! Tim then walked out of the room while the sedation worked to see another customer! While we stood there watching our dog vomit & look petrified. Horrible memory that will never leave me nor my husband. Needless to say we won’t be back! I hope we got him on a “bad day”!

Have been going to Tim for 10 years and have always been happy he has been fabulous so when I rang Friday 8th about my Frenchie dog explained that she had a grade 4 heart murmur she wouldn’t eat had blown up with fluid couldn’t sit down was quite unwell thE male that answered the ph one was very blunt and condescending as he told me that it was booked out, I understand that it is very busy but did not know what else to do, told me that he could book me in the following week to which I told him the dog could be dead by then! He then proceeded to tell me that I should start ringing around to find a vet that could see me ! Thanks for the support I’m sure your manners need an overhaul and you need lessons in how to be sympathetic! Thanks again

My sister an I have been going to Tim since he first opened in Patterson lakes and have never been to another vet. I trust Tim and Janet (the new lady vet) with my all my animals because they get the best care and attention..whenever Ive had an emergency...day or night Tim has always kindly made himself available to treat my furr babies or euthanize ( my Bonnie) in the middle of the night in her case. Im so grateful for the care, attention and compassion...not just for my animals but for myself as well, as Im always a mess when my animals get sick, so thanks Tim and Janet....staff are always kind and obliging and also very compassionate..profound gratitude to you all..

Tim is a brilliant vet and highly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting their pet in the best hands. Tim’s honest approach is refreshing and he will tell it how it is - he won’t sugarcoat the BS. The staff here are always pleasant and helpful, especially recently when I rushed my staffy down there after she suffered a seizure. I was beside myself and an absolute mess but Tim calmed me down and ensured charli was in good hands. Mikayla, the vet nurse also took the time to make sure I was ok and reassured me that charli was in the best place and would receive the best care; which she certainly did. After going to a corporate vet and many hundreds of dollars later to be told there was nothing wrong with my Frenchie l sought a second opinion at Patterson Lakes commnity vet.Dr Tim found the problem straight away. My Frenchie had hurt her back. I would recommend this clinic to all pet owners, Dr tim has years of experience and expertise and the staff there are warm and compassionate. We have been going to Tim for 2 yrs now. Our dog knows no other vet. Recently our dog cut her foot open (we assume glass). It was extremely deep and very hard to stop the bleeding. We called to see of they could see us asap as it was a bit if an emergency. We were told they had nothing avaliable and could not see out dog until 4 days later. We were obviously very disappointed as we thought being our vet and it being an emergency they could make an earlier time. Pretty disappointing

Thank you so much Dr Tim and your team for helping our Lincoln, he was so unwell we weren’t sure how bad he was or if he would make it, and after seeing a different vet originally he still was getting worse everyday, but since we found Dr Tim and his amazing crew they went all out to help him, now Lincoln is home after his short stay and he is doing so much better now. He is almost himself again and hopefully will make a complete recovery, we can’t thank you all enough.

Tim has been my vet for 30 years, he has looked after my babies like they were hia own. Very understanding of my anxieties where my girla are concerned and always puts me at ease. Has always been available day and nightopened at 5:30 when I had to loose my angel. He cares more for animals than his hip pocket. Unfortunately Tim was on leave yesterday when our girl started having seizures and we were unable to see the other vet at Tim's practice. As a result we had to go somewhere else and it reinforced how amazing Tim is. We wished Tim was able to have been there to guide us through what to do with our girl. The other vet was all about money and not treatment outcomes or benefits. When we get another dog will be again going to Tim.

Dr.Tim and all the staff are friendly and understanding. My dogs are scared of the vets but the staff and Tim treat them as gently as possible even when something has to be done...like cleaning Sami's ear when he has an infection and gets it over with quickly to minimize the stress. I've been taking my dogs to Patterson Lakes Animal Hospital for years now and have always been happy with the treatment provided.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I have been taking my dog max to Tim for 10 years now. I cant believe that my dog was in so much pain and was told they cant see him for a couple of days. He was in a lot of pain and didn't care about him. I called another vet near by that was fully booked also, but because max was in pain told me to bring him in straight away. Dont recommend them now and will never go back again.

Have nothing but great things to say about Tim and the girls. They were all very understanding and patient with me and my beloved old cat Boston. As his life was slowing coming to an end, over the several months before he passed and several visits and overnight stays as he needs dehydrating. Tim is a straight shooter, doesn't do unnecessary expensive test unless you want them. A true animal lover.

More knowledge with cats/ dogs than any other vet I've come across before, through background working with people. Practical, talks in layman's terms and charges chicken feed not like a wounded bull. A vet that genuinely gives a damn Hopefully council aren't pigheaded about expansion as these guys literally don't have enough room to cater with growing demand and will need to make more room.

If you’re looking for a vet that you can trust, then Tim is your man. He is genuinely in the job for the well-being of the animals and unlike many in the field, it is not about the money for him. I’ve been bringing my dog to see him for years and even though I have moved inner city, I still wouldn’t hesitate to make the trip down as the service he provides is exceptional.

I wouldn't even be able to express the gratefulness I have.. 10 years ago when I first got a dog, I googled vets nearby. By a stroke of pure luck I got Dr.Tim and have never ever needed to stray, he is perfect and so are the beautiful staff! I simply would not trust my animals with any other veterinary doctor or his team of excellent nurses!
