Great service, Antony, Steven and Gavin were very helpful. They are prepared to spend time with you without rushing you off, good old fashioned service. I have been there twice so far and will be upgrading my camera with them. What I like it the after service they provide if you need it. So you may pay a bit cheaper online but it is all worth having the after service when you have questions later by purchasing through Peninsula Camera Centre. It is only a short walking distance from Bayside Shopping Centre, near the Coles end of Food Court.

Over the past 3 months or so I have been to numerous camera shops, and got myself a nice decent camera but it wasn't what I wanted and I wasn't happy with my purchase. Came here recently and the guys at Peninsula Camera Centre, took me through an informative session about the camera, and there was no pressure in making the purchase. Couple of hours later I came back and bought myself a very nice Olympus om-d e-m5. The customer service was excellent :) I wouldn't be bother go to other camera shops.

Er hat mir sogar von einem Kauf abgeraten weil das Produkt nichts taugt. Auf meine Frage warum er es dann im Laden hat, kam die Antwort: Er habe es falsch bestellt. Es ist wirklich ein nettes kleines Fachgeschäft, welches alles anbietet was das Fotografenherz begehrt. Habe am Ende sogar noch 10% Rabatt bekommen.

WOW just simply WOW, amazing service, I needed an urgent lead for my camera and I wasn't sure who would have it, I was told to go see these guys not only did they carry the cable but the service that went with it was enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. I mentioned I was having a problem with the camera and they checked the firmware and spent time going through the menus with me. Thanks so much Gavin really appreciate it, this is my go to place now. :)

In time when customer service is reduced it chatbots and 'we are experiencing a higher number of calls than usual' (for the last 2 years!) it was such a delight to have good old fashioned one-on-one customer service. Discussed and bought what I needed - after their honest and clear advice - no hard sell, in fact quite the opposite. My retailer of choice for my camera needs going forward. Well done everyone.

Good place where people behind the counter speak photography, you can negotiate within reason and if it comes to advise in repairs or repairs itself-this is the place to go to, I had three different places with big names saying that my lens can not be fixed but Peninsula Camera offered their repair contact and there you go! took a while but not nearly as expensive as I was afraid it will be, job well done.

Awesome camera centre with knowledgeable people. Got a nice little bellows that I'd been hunting for. Cool. Best yet they stock and understand m4/3 Got an awesome vintage bellows agfa. Updated aug19 dropped in to get a flash modifier, had a great chat about available options and what they had with the collector great too. Awesome. Couldn't ask for more interested better service.

Being located in the Frankston area I’m always looking to support small local businesses. New to the world of photography and cameras the guys at the peninsular camera center have been fantastic and very helpful getting me organised for the new sports year as nearly all my shooting will be sports. Camera stores like this are few and far between. It's worth traveling a bit further (if you need to) to go here, as it's run by knowledgeable people with a love of photography. They will find a solution to whatever you need; and not just try to sell you 'the latest thing' (aka Ted's Camera's etc.). An absolutely delightful store for the true photography enthusiast.

This store is GREAT! All the staff have a passion for Photography and are more than happy to talk to you about everything. They don't pressure you to buy anything, instead they listen to what you need and recommend. I always feel welcome, and they always want to see your work and give great tips in how to improve your work. Could not recommend a better store

I took my 35mm film camera in to be fixed and was amazed with the customer service I received. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and explained how the camera worked and what would be involved in the repair. They assisted me in getting it sent for repair and the whole process was easy and stress free. I’ll definitely be back!

Spoke to Gavin who provided fantastic service. Came in with an issue that was promptly diagnosed and fixed with a recommended part that they had in stock. Was then kind enough to give my partner who is just getting into photography some pointers on how to start out. Wonderful experience, definitely recommend these guys!

My D750 had a problem for weeks and I was really worried, so I went to Peninsula Camera Centre and Anthony helped me. In a matter or minutes the problem was fixed! The staff @ Peninsula camera no there stuff,service is EXCELLENT and there knowledge of the camera industry and everything photography is rock solid.i will continue to shop @ Peninsula camera, and avoid the multi store camera shops in Victoria. ( NO NAMES NEEDED )!!!! Keep it up great to see.

Had a great experience with getting my camera looked at. Guy spent 30 minutes checking settings and testing. Also cleaned the lense. Didn't charge me anything. Very impressed and will definitely be back for my camera and processing needs. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent service but more important, awesome advise. They actually listen to your needs, ask questions to make sure they understand your needs, unlike other camera stores. After purchase they are happy to advise you on your camera or accessories. Great local business.

Purchased a medium priced tripod, unfortunately it had a problem, returned it. It was the last one of this type, without blinking it was exchange for a more expensive, extra features tripod, at no extra cost. Great customer service.

Great service and quality at good prices. I've had numerous rolls of film developed here and the staff are always super friendly and know their stuff. I'd highly recommend this store, especially if you're into shooting on film.

Bought 4 disposable cameras in for development. Asked for the 24 print package for $18. None of them contained a full 24 prints yet we paid full price. Paying $18 for just 12 pictures is ridiculous. Not impressed.

Super knowledgeable staff, great turnaround times for film development (c41 and B&W), good film selection and the right amount of accessories to keep you shooting! Also the used gear section is a treasure trove !
