We've ordered two sofas from Perch now and absolutely love each one. We recently remodeled our home and were in need of sectional sofa to fit a very specific space. In addition to the size requirement, we wanted the sectional to be leather AND a sofa sleeper. Try finding a leather sectional sofa sleeper-it's impossible. Imagine our good fortune when someone from a FB group I'm part of recommended Perch. I emailed them and quickly got a response. From that point on our experience with Perch was exceptional. A couple of phone calls later we had a variety of leather samples to look at and choose from. We sent measurements and received drawings for approval. 8-10 weeks later we received our sofa and it was gorgeous. The delivery guys were super friendly and helpful-it wasn't the easiest of rooms to get a large sectional into. They even helped remove a door to get the sofa through the doorway! (It fit perfectly-we measured it to be verrrry close on purpose) The sofa looks like it was made for the room, which it was! :) Everyone who sits on it says its super comfortable. We were able to fit a queen sized sleeper in the sofa and our guests who have slept on it say they slept quite well. (Perch does memory foam mattresses for their sleepers) When it came time to order another sofa, I didn't even consider looking elsewhere. I called Perch and 8-10 weeks later, another beautiful sofa is delivered for our living room. When Perch says they do custom work, they mean it. You can design a sofa down to the inch: height, width, seat depth. You can choose tufting or not, or less. You can do buttons or not, or half and half. You can do piping or not. You can choose the legs and base you want. And of course, a sleeper option. Perch's customer service is exceptional, I feel like Willi is a friend now-I even got to meet her when she was in LA checking in at their factory. :) I would order from Perch again in a heartbeat. Thank you Perch and Willi for helping to make our home beautiful and comfortable.

If you are in the market for a sofa, want to have the assurance of purchasing local and working with "real people," want the best quality on the market at a reasonable price point, there's no question - go with Perch. Now, the thing is, you may have to wait. And this is no fault of Perch - we all know how the supply chain issues have effected our daily lives. I ordered my custom-made Burnside sectional (custom size, material and wood base) at the end of December 2021, and it was finished with production in August 2022. They were very upfront that it would take 6 months, and they came in within 1 month of that which is pretty amazing considering how unpredictable supply chain issues are these days (I work in supply chain for one of the worlds largest retailers - a local sportswear company ;) - and let's just say I'm impressed. Not only did they keep me updated all along the way, but I worked with one person at the store, and then one person during production. Amelia even dropped off fabric samples at my house going above and beyond. Now to the sofa itself. My vision was to replace a sofa and two chairs in my living room with one piece of furniture that my family of 3, plus friends could all enjoy together. The sofa is of AMAZING quality, absolutely beautiful, and my teenage sons and I spend the majority of our time that we spend together - in this room now. The sofa has literally brought us closer together and created more family time! I recommend going with an extra wide depth if this is your goal. I recently had a friend visit and I don't have a guest room, so I gave her my bed and slept on the sofa. It was a wonderful night's sleep and with the 40" depth of the cushions), it's almost as wide as a twin bed. It doesn't have the noticeable "slope" that some sofas so making it awkward to sleep on. (It may have a slight slope but it's unnoticeable). I am in love with my sofa and so grateful for Perch - no doubt I will return to them for my furniture needs.

We LOVE our couch from Perch and everything about the purchasing experience. Willi, Jon, Audrey and the rest of staff were so friendly and helpful. Audrey came to our house and measured our space and talked us through the whole design process. We got a large U-shaped couch for a small TV room in our Craftsman. The couch fits perfectly and actually makes the room feel so much bigger. Its super comfy and the fabric is so soft! We were assured that the couch is dog and kid-friendly and so far that rings true. Our six year old loves jumping on it and our dog happily naps on it daily. I recently spilled a large glass of red wine on it and it came clean with only water (yay!)! They also made us a cute little shelf that fits over the arm of the couch since we wouldn't have room for a side table. LOVE IT! I would absolutely buy another couch from Perch!

My hunt for the best made modern sofa ended here. I had researched Joybird (online), DWR, EWF, Crate & Barrel, Dania, What's New, Hunt & Gather, Bella Casa and none of these stores could compete with the quality of product and service that I had at Perch. Sofa shopping is stressful, particularly if you know exactly what you want. Perch is where you can customize nearly every feature to achieve the look, style, and comfort you desire. Unlike many other Pearl area boutique stores, this is certainly not a pretentious showroom! I could take my time lounging and ask all of my questions about craftsmanship and fabrics that I needed. And when I didn't see exactly what I was looking for, we designed a combination of the Quinn and Gracie to become the sofa of my dreams. Even with a 10-week lead time, the whole process so far has been worth the wait.

We found Perch while sofa shopping for our new house a few years ago. We bought a beautiful floor model and quickly fell in love. Fast forward two years and we have added two more sofas to our house and two upholstered chairs to my office. The whole Perch team is excellent to work with. The shop has an excellent selection so you can sit, feel, and contemplate. Then you get to see the ideas they come up with to make the sofa custom. With sofa #2 we wanted leather but a tufted look...no problem! With sofa #3 we had to fit down a tight stairwell to our basement. Jonathan designed it and confirmed with the manufacturer so that it could be broken down into pieces that would make the journey. All three look unique and fit our needs for the space. We highly recommend Perch for anyone looking at a sofa or upholstered furniture!

When our expensive leather sofa died after the first year, and after extensive research, we decided to purchase a custom chair and custom couch from Perch. The fabric available was excellent, and the store had exactly the size and configuration that we wanted. I was even able to have one of the sofa pillows made more firm than the other to accommodate different preferences of my husband and me. The price was not much more than the off-the-floor (or website) ones that you find elsewhere, but there is no comparison in quality. Plus, we got a very nice loaner sofa while our furniture was being built. The delivery team was excellent, and Audrey provided the most conscientious customer service that I’ve ever experienced, keeping us advised of the status of our order every step of the way. Highest recommendation.

Well I forgot to do this earlier so now it's been several months since we've received our sofa but I suppose that's even better so you can hear how well it's holding up. We were reluctant to get a new couch to begin with because we have a dog that sheds and a kitty too. But our old sofas had absolutely been trashed after 15 years so it was time. The process at Perch was great from the start. They listened to our desires, space constraints and our worries about the pets trashing new sofa, made great suggestions on upholstery, came out and measured our small living room and helped us with choosing the right design to not overwhelm the living room in our 100 year old house. So, 4 months later I can say we couldn't be happier. Our living room looks updated not worn out and pet hair? ...comes right up.

Of any company I’ve ever worked with, I have never received the level of customer service that I have from Perch. I have had a cooper sofa for several years now and recently got a matching chair. They are both what I consider to be functional pieces of art for your home. From the design and ordering process all the way to delivery I was pretty blown away by how well I was treated, no detail was left unexplained and the product itself is absolutely fantastic. If you are on the fence between a big box cheaper alternative and a custom sofa from Perch, spend the extra money and get one from Perch. We have had our couch for 3 months now and it is time to leave a review. Firstly, the experience of buying the couch was great. The owners were knowledgeable, did not upsell (but did give good reasons for upgrades), and facilitated a good shopping experience despite the pandemic. We looked at several local and non-local purveyors and Perch met the balance of cost, customization, and quality that others could not. The couch itself is a tank. We opted for the thicker frame and doweled joints and if the big one ever hits I'm hiding under it. The down alternative is comfy and the shape of the couch is holding up. We talk about this couch more than any two people should. If I remember I will try to update the review after some time.

I'm still really in awe of my experience shopping at Perch! As one of those people who is hyper-controlling and detail focused I was elated to find a sofa store where *everything* is customizable. I was also amazed to find such patient and enthusiastic sales associates who not only could put up with me but seemed happy to do it. Shocking. After several weeks of deliberating on every possible option, and waiting the appropriate gestation period, my couch arrived absolutely perfect. I can't recommend this store highly enough. No, I was not paid to write this. Yes, my couch is cooler than yours. Envy me.

We bought a huge sectional about 10 years ago from Perch. It has held up so well and we still love it. A few years later, we added two Perch chairs and they are fantastic. Today, our new ottoman arrived and it is stunning! We had to wait a while for it to come in due to Covid-19 delays, but the ottoman was personally delivered by owner Jonathan as soon as it was done. Super fun to work with these folks in designing your custom piece. They have lots of selection of styles and an amazing selection of fabrics to choose from. Highly recommend the friendly folks at Perch!

Perch is an great place to check out when searching for couches, chairs, rugs, etc. I've been in a few times and each time I learn more and more about the ins and outs of furniture. They've taught me a lot about how to pick quality fabrics, choose furniture to fit the correct space you're looking for, and how to take care of your furniture. They even gave me tips on how to restore furniture I already own. These ladies are great, make sure this is your first stop, you won't want to go anywhere else. Also, the shop dogs in here are the best!

We are so glad we discovered Perch. We went to Macy's for a sofa bed. The one that felt best to us was too deep in the seat, had funky-looking arms, was available only in a sickly beige. At Perch, we got to choose a stunning gray, a seat at just the right depth, the arm style we liked, and the firmness of cushions that is just right for us. It was so easy to do too because Audrey was most helpful and pleasant. The real kicker is that, delivery included, it was only $100 more than the Macy's sofa. Can't beat it.

In this time of extended wait times for furniture, I realized I could be patient if it meant getting the couch I wanted. Perch has so much going for it. I got the exact couch I wanted. I picked out the model, dimensions, arm and leg style, cushion firmnesses, color and fabric choice. It was a reasonable price. The salespeople were kind, honest, and communicative. I got the Hoyt L shaped sectional in a performance green velvet made specially for my small living room. This is great local business to support.

My husband and I worked with the owners and employees at Perch to build a beautiful Quinn sectional and chair. My wife and I bought entirely remotely without going to the store. Every detail was explained and our options were made super clear. During Covid we turned out guest room into a gym so it was important to be able to have a sleeper added to the couch, which can be hard to find for couches that are this nice! We were able to get a couch made to fit our exact specs, we picked our cushion fill and still came out even in pricing compared to non-custom options (that wouldn't have fit). I bought a Verona sofa back in the summer of 2019 and absolutely love it and it fit well in my old apartment. This place specializes in custom furniture at an affordable price. You have certain sofas and chairs and personalize it. Step on in and find what you like. Come prepared with dimensions of your rooms, because things can be made shorter, longer and increase/decrease the depth, or add a chaise! Everything is customizable and the people who work there are very friendly!

We had such a difficult time finding a sofa bed that we liked. We looked at way too many sofa beds in stores & online. My Husband & I finally found the Allistar sofa that we both loved.
