Update Mar 2023: Back to normal again, until the next flood. Update May 2022: Avoid for a while due to sewage contamination. There is a sewage pumping station in the park and it appears to have overflowed in the floods. Composting hub, playground, pedal trains currently unavailable. Still smells bad, so be careful. Great park with plenty of things for all ages. Kids playground with swings, climbing and slide; pedal train; paths for walking or cycling; basketball court and fitness equipment; barbeques and picnic tables; dog off leash area; public toilet block. Somehow there is still plenty of room for a large grassed area, a creek, and lots of shady trees. There is a carpark and plenty of on street parking. Right across the street from Heroes Park. One star off for bats (noisy and messy), magpies (swooping) and ibises (steal food).
Playground
Has petrol station themed playground

Has dog off-leash area

Perrin Park is a large green space which caters well for all comers. A concrete ramp allows easy access for wheelchairs. There is an adventure playground with activities for a range of ages, barbecues, seating under two gazebos and a spectacular 4 carriage model train (pedal powered). Visit during the day to see hundreds if bats hanging , to sleep , from the upper branches of the trees along the small creek. At dusk, they wake to fly above the park! Zoom in on the photos to see just how many there are.

Excellent park with lots of place to run, have picnics, play ball or even exercise. It's located along a calm street so it's always quiet peaceful. It has a lot of shaded tables, bbq areas, path for cycling or scooters. Has multiple play structures for all ages. They also have multiple exercise equipment for everyone to use. There is also a full basketball court open to public. You will also see lots of bats on the trees along the path. Highly recommend it.

A great park for walking your dog, for the kids to enjoy the large playground area, or for seeing the huge number of bats in the trees near the off leash dog parks. The children’s playground is particular big, complete with a circuit peddle coaster and the usual climbing equipment. There’s a few large field areas with paths going through them, and even a large outdoor gym.

A great little park that caters to smaller children. There is also a workout station for fitness enthusiasts. There is currently some maintenance going on where a portion of the grassy area near the swings is fenced. And on another visit, we've experienced a lot of flying foxes (bats) nested in the trees beside the playground.

We love this park..Many bench, trees, 2 playgrounds, bbq facilities, jogging track..It is an awesome park to spend your leisure time. However, I can't find toilet facilities here..So, make sure you have done your business before you came here..At afternoon, you can see many birds and bats at the sky..

Green family park. Good for a walk, cycling, yoga, jogging and good meeting point for friends and families. Upgraded with a basketball court and fitness equipment. Now Perrin Park becomes one of my favourite spots to spend my afternoon hours with my children.

Nice little park. Very quiet. Has a playground, kind of aimed more at young kids, a workout area and some seating. Also has a cool track that you can push kids around on toy motorbikes. No toilets as far as i could see. Not a bad spot.

  • Andrew Haines

A great public facility. A big variety of childrens play equipment. The pedal trains are a fun and uncommon item. Lots of open space to run around in, kick a ball etc A good flat sealed path in one section which is excellent for young

  • Simon Stone

Great kids play facilities, a walking track and and gym equipment. Some shelter, though not lots. Plenty of very tall trees in and around park make it very shaded and cold in winter, especially if there's a bit of wind. Bring chairs.

  • Brad Kanther

Such a great park for kids learning to ride bikes.. there is a big wide concrete path that goes around the circumference. In the mangroves nearby are 1000s of sleeping bats that often stir a bit when a bird flies to close.

Large enclosed dog park with grass. One of the better off leash dog parks I've been to in Brisbane. Has water trough and doggy bags, parking very accessible. Highly recommend

  • Paul L

Great place to see flying foxes. If you are not sure when and where to go to see flying foxes, just go to Perrin Park just before sunset. You will see the spectacular scene.

  • Olga Moskvyak

Great park. Very popular. It has very interesting shady kids playground, outdoor gym, basketball ring. Very large green field and safe path for little kids in bikes.

  • Alyssa Susanto

All I can say is that this is my dog’s favourite place on earth. I think he dreams about it every time he sleeps and his feet do little running movements.

  • IRENE DANIEL

It's a good park... Main attraction is the "trains" where you can place your kid and peddle them on the tracks... That's innovative and full of fun!!!

  • Dilrabo Tosheva

great park for families with children, there are picnic areas and playgrounds, adjacent to dog park. Close to UQ, and cbd. the size is not big though.

  • Alexander The Great

Plenty of space for footy or kids playground, don’t miss the bats around sunset. Street parking so it gets pretty busy being closed to the city too.
