If you are going to go and buy yourself pet supplies this place is pretty good and fair pricing considering there are very few shops like this in that area. However I have to advise that if you are considering coming here to get your pet vaccinated you might have a better experience going somewhere where you can book an appointment. They are only able to provide vaccines during the weekend, and the veterinarian arrives in the late afternoon, around 18:45. They also do not have a waiting room, understandably because they are a small shop. This means that you and your pet will find themselves on a line outside of the shop for hours, exposed to the elements. However I have to say that their service was fast, and very perfessional. I brought two dogs and they had it over and done with in less then 15 minutes. It is also very affordable. The price per animal is $65, this includes the medication and vaccines. On average you most likely will find yourself paying anywhere between $75-$145 so price wise this is a win-win. So if you have the time and patience but tight on funds I very much recommend this place. Just make sure you get their before 18:00 so you can make the front of the line. And bring water, there aren't many shops in the area.

Love this pet shop it’s great for all your animal needs. They sell live feed animals for snakes not just frozen that works for people like me. The owner is great and runs a good healthy environment. No matter if he is on meal he will still come out his office to help you. Besides the owner, One worker in my opinion stands out from the rest only because his love for the fish and the way he takes care of them. He showed me how to keep my small Aquarium healthy and keep my fish alive and happy. For months I could not get my tank to stay stable and stop my fish from dying until I found this guy Rivera who walked me through step by step on does and don’ts of the fish tank. Although I didn’t buy the fish from This store he still took the time to answer all my questions every time I came in there to buy food for my snake. Great workers make a great environment for business owners

I remember 13 years ago I want inside and the owner was so nice. I got a puppy from his shop 12 years ago. I still have the dog she is an awesome dog. In the summer I was in the restaurant with my family and the owner from the pet shop was there he recognize me and He stop me to say hi. That’s to show you how nice this man is and when you go to his shop he treats you like part of his family so I recommend this place to everyone he will always remember your face and never act like a stranger.. He also has good price in his store and he will work closely with you. Every Friday he also have in his shop a Doctor for your animals.. Awesome staff’s as well. My daughters and I loves this place so much..

I have been an extremely happy customer of Pest R’ Us for over 15 years. They treat us like family, and always have! Their technicians are professional, thorough, kind and always promptly on time. Their treatment is highly effective and safe for our children and pets. They pay extra attention to any problem areas and are always happy to re-treat after storms or scorpion sighting. (I have had less than 5 scorpions on my property for 12 years, and none inside!) This is an amazing group of people and I will recommend their business to anyone needing pest services. Wonderful Pet Store! I travel all the way to this pet store instead of the Pet Discount’s near me. This store has A LOT more of a selection and better prices. Our turtles are so happy with their treats and gifts. They offer food, treats, tanks, leashes, and all types of pets to buy. Tortoises, turtles, birds, mice, etc. “Monique” offers WONDERFUL customer service! She and the rest workers here are so willing to help you find whatever you need and are very friendly instead of an attitude like some places. We are proud to call this our main pet store. I definitely recommend this pet store over any other I’ve tried in the Bronx. 5/5

I never leave a review but thank you Jeff and Ben who were super helpful!! When I first walked in Jeff helped me with every item I needed and ALSO provided advice and recommendations for my new puppy. Later on in the evening, I went with my boyfriend again to get more things & Ben helped me. Ben has always been helpful to my family growing up and now helping me with my very own little family. They were both very sweet & kind and helpful. Thanks to both gentleman's for everything they did!!! Will continue to go & if you not sure, this should be your go to for your little fluffy loved ones

Okay so this is the only pet store in my neighborhood they're well stocked on a variety of products for your pets needs.... That being said some of the staff can be quite rude with customers at times and it has turned me off from purchasing there recently. In addition to that they're also horribly overpriced there. Now I want to give them their props and say that some of the staff there know their stuff and can be helpful if they notice you and you try to ask for help given they're not being rude that day...

I took my dog for grooming and she was practically shaved bald. On top of that her nerves are definitely fluttered she is very irritated by her ears and private area also. My dog is a very friendly dog who’s has been cut prior to this. And did not respond this way. Not a happy customer at all with the grooming services. Patience is a must have when grooming pets. My dog is definitely not behaving the same as prior.

I used to purchase many items from this pet store, but that ended today. I will never refer anyone here either. Being rude and disrespectful is not appropriate. I will never give my money and support businesses that treat customers as they please. You lost plenty of customers through me, I have referred. The lady that runs it is wonderful but the man is rude. Goodbye, I will go to Southern Blvd from now on.

Horrible customer service more employees than needed and none help you. Very disappointed. On top of counter there was a plastic tank that is for 1 fish. They had 6 lovebirds or cockatoos not sure what kind of birds, but there were stressed .missing feathers and couldn't move around freely. This was on Tuesday going to visit again Saturday to see if birds are still there, then I will report animal cruelty.

Monique is the truth. She provides great service and great advice. She is such an attentive person. I visited the store it was crowded and no-one was really paying attention. I go there for all my supplies for my jack Dempsey. One sales person helped me out with my new 55 Gallon tank. I forgot her name. She delivered my tank to my house. Thank you. But some workers that work there need to know what they are selling and some employees there do not know anything about what they selling. But my hats off to the lady that helped me out with my stuff.

Helpful staff. Wide range of options for all kinds of pets. They also offer a rewards program for customers. Social distancing in-store is a plus. Happy to have a pet store of this size— esp in this neighborhood. They offer grooming & an on-site vet on select says of the week which is very convenient. I haven’t tried yet these services yet but will update review when I do.

Great place to buy everything u need for ur pet plus they have a veterinarian that comes Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm they only take care the first 15 peoples that comes plus the shots for ur pets are very cheap no more then 60$ for 3 shots I really recommend this place they are very professional

I've been keeping reptiles and fish for many many years so I've been to many pet stores in my life. I can say this is the very first pet store that I've seen keep their animals in such amazing conditions. All of their enclosures are clean and enriching. Absolutely love it. Definitely going to be a frequent customer.

Charming neighborhood gem.. Fish dept small but worthly packed with quality (some exotic) stock & aquatic plants, aquarium supplies. Also is stocked with supplies for all pet needs- dogs cats birds & reptiles. Even nice selection of houseplants. Saturday morning peals of joy from neighborhood kids makes it magical.

Awesome, incredibly well stocked pet store for the area. Extremely helpful staff that were very useful in helping me select the proper medication to treat my dog based on her age, weight and gender. Will certainly come back again. Miles beyond your regular chain pet store in knowledgeability and friendliness!

He and his staff are committed to excellent service, command great understanding of their products and industry and charge very reasonably for their work. I purchased feeder goldfish. 9 were dead before I got home. I have to edit this review. Purchased again feeder goldfish. Requested please do not give me dead fish. Or of there way to give me doing fish. Fish dead before I got home. But beware. They would not do this if this store was in Manhattan

The people here really help you with customer service and concerns. Very informative and help you with any confusion. They are very patient and I love how my son is treated when I come with him. My son has ADHD and they don't judge me or him. Very understanding and patient. Love coming here.

Don't recommend buying fish from here they are over priced and sick. Purchased fish, within a few hours at home in a quarantine tank started showing signs. Was told ohh well it was fine when it left the store. Will never shop there again and won't recommend friends and fellow fish lovers.

The staff is always helpful. They are always stocked with what you need. I stopped going to local retail pet stores and commute 45 minutes just because they have such a variety and never have issues getting what I need for my beardy. They are also very knowledgeable about the animals.

The associate Jeff was amazing! He was so patient with me and explained everything to me in full detail, he also taught me so much about my pets needs and what not to do, my experience at pet resources was awesome, love the entire staff is well informed, kind and respectful.

I am so happy with my experience so far with pet resources. They really helped me getting my dog back to health and in a great weight. If anybody needs help with their dog cats or any other animals I highly recommend them. They really care about your pet's needs and health.

This place has a little of everything! Honestly my kids didn't want to leave lol. Only tiny thing is the birds look sort of cramped in their cages. I'm guessing the breeders end up sending Lot of small pets there. But anyways great store great prices for many animals.
