Horrible horrible horrible. Look at these pictures and the conditions in which these pets are kept! Mind you, I went on a hot day; it was 90 degrees out. If you see the picture with the birds there are 30+ of them in that small cage. The cages are filthy and not taken care of. The pictures with the hamsters drinking water were taken after I told the (RUDE) guy that they didn't have water. When he finally decided to put water all the hamsters rushed to drink some . You can see that the cage with the guinea pigs doesn't have water and the awful store workers have them sitting outside in the hot weather. If you are going to own a pet store, be responsible and ethical and not cheap!!! I understand that people need to make a living but not like this! These are living creatures! Life will not be great to you if you don't treat it well!

Went in looking for a BETA. Noticed some displayed for $2.99! ( several dead!) Found one in a tank W/ other fish, owner said it was $2.99! Went back, bought one and she died by morning! Owner did not honor the purchase, failed to inquire as to what I might have done wrong! I said " I've got 3 bucks and am willing to try again!! The owner said " they are $3.99 and up"! when he has some in containers for a dollar less! I said " look, you told me $2.99, and if I can't get that price I'm gonna split"! he said " good Luck"! Besides, their gold fish are 20% higher than else where!!! CAL

They're in a convenient location and the place is packed with all sorts of pet supplies and food. They stock a lot of things you won't find at petco. In fact, it's much easier to ask people working there if they have what you need. The aisles are very crowded and it's difficult to locate items. However, there are a few people working here who are not very friendly or helpful. They have nice looking animals for those looking for new family members. There's a small parking lot shared with other shops and I doubt they allow anyone to use the restroom. Face Masks Are Required.

This is a great little pet store. They have a ton of birds out front that herald your coming so to speak and a nice man ( I believe the owner) is always there and ready to help you find what you need and answer ?s. It can be a little on the pricey seeming side, but it isn't a big chain store that's impersonal and the difference in price is literally change. And for the personal type assistance it's worth maybe change. I know it is to me when I can afford it. He even has his kid working with him there now that its summertime. Thats how personal it is.

Ive been to this store multiple times and I regret spending money here. If you scroll through the customer photos, birds are featherless because they are stressed and neglected. When I went into the store hamsters were being mistreated and I was told not to take photos (well yelled at and I didn't even try to take any). Im pretty sure this store has illegal animals or no actual warrant and obviously animal neglect, which is why only cash is accepted. Highly recommend reporting to the police or avoiding this overpriced pet store.

I'm guessing the old lady there is the owner.....she was very rude when my girls and I were looking at the pets there she told us that we were dirtying up her floors because one of her employer was soaping up the floors. Who does that!? Then she says for us not to look at the baby hamsters for too long because the mom will eat or kill them. I give this place 0 stars. People like this shouldn't even own a bussiness! Very rude lady. The other employers are nice.very sad they have to put up with a person like that.

I talked with them on the phone and over Facebook. The employee asked for a $200 deposit for holding an African grey for me until I could pick up. I sent it and they said I have to send another $150 or I will not get my money back or a african grey. I asked for a refund of the $200 and they refused. I was scammed out of $200 and they proceeded to say if I file a police report that nothing will happen because the owner is a police officer. Do not buy from them.

Awsome! I have bought 3 betta fish from this place. They also have a vast varieties of birds! I have also gotten 4 goldfish and 3 guppies and they have came in great quality. Reptilians are also there so if you looking for a snake and can't find a store around LA where they sell them come here! Though, I would recommend getting better employees, the family store is great overall.

Sold me an incomplete batta tank, took them a month to get me a new tank, and the tank leaks, huge amount of water damage to my furniture and my bedding.... No number to call do you have owners personal number, he is still extremely hard to get a hold of, really upset don’t waste your money here..... has made the most simple pet be the most complicated transaction

Someone call PETA on this dirt hole. You don't need to walk in to get the bigger picture of what's going on inside. There are several caged birds who are practically balding and are malnourished I'm assuming due to the lack of proper care and stress. Inside is even more frightening, "mediocre" service does NOT compensate for the neglect that's going on inside.

Terrible shop; went at 7 pm sharp and staff refused to assist me since they were closing shop(8pm) and encouraged me to return when they open the next day. Returned at noon the next day and staff was very unhelpful. Requested to see one item and they would not pull due to laziness. I even offered to assist move items but they still refused.

Actually I would give ZERO STARS!! The old Lady there behind the counter is soooooo Rude! 2xs she has been Very Rude to my mom... My mom is an elderly person n that lady has Zero patience!! And their is No space for a walker so my mom has to literally leave her walker outside to be able to walk in I would not recommend this place at all

This pet shop justified such a great deal of credit for offering immaculate help, remarkable expenses, and stores of stuff for canines and cats. They similarly serve preparing organizations for your canines and they had the best veterinarian around! I was happy that this pet shop was near my place. Eagerly recommended!

The best pet shop in the city! I bought my son's dog here, Padi, as our gift for her 6th birthday last week. Their staff were amazing and has loads of knowledge about dogs and other pets. He did convince us to have a dog instead of a bird for our son, and he was right! My son loved the dog and he was always beside him.

A hidden gem. They have everything for every sort of pet. They even had CBD drops for pets. The huge rawhide bones I usually get from the big box pet stores we're a better buy at this Mom and Pop shop. I love to support small business whenever I can. I recommend trying this place before a big box pet store.

This store should be closed because they have neglected birds like Macaws,Parrots,Tucán and a lot small birds into the smaller cages please animals feels too they look really bad and sadness help this animals and let the owner knows they are not just product to sale share please and help this animals

The owner was willing to negotiate & I couldn't of been happier.. he's also in the middle of redecorating the aquatics section which seems to have a wide variety of fish. I also got an awesome deal on on 2 mbuna cichlids. Before I buy fish I make sure to hit this store first. I never leave unhappy

Yeah I know it's a dump but it's worth going into. Good prices. Lots of selection. The animals are treats well. Never sickly. Lots of advice and know how here and never a follow around pressure sale. Good for popular animals at fair prices without the popular pet store prices.

It's a little shop but the family who works there have explained everything to me that I need to know about a fish tank. They let me know how to keep my fish and what the tank needed. It's a good family store for quick purchases or for someone needing a small pet.

I actually visit the 99cents store next door to the pet store. However, I have been here once before to consider getting a turtle. They have birds that cry all day lmao. Don't remember anything negative. The store was a little cramped but that's about it.

They sold me an infected bird and then died. I went back to see if he can trade it for another bird or give me my money back but he didn’t.I do not recommend this place if you want to buy a bird because almost all birds are infected.
