in this store we bought some things for animals. The staff are very nice and friendly, always answer all questions. We took advantage of another of their services - Bathing.I have two Corgis and needed to bathe and dry them. We recently arrived from Ukraine. and so I was advised that there you can bathe and dry. In general, the staff was very friendly, everything except, as I understand it, that she is the manager. I immediately felt an unfriendly look, she spoke to me rather rudely, as if I had come here for free, and did not pay for my procedure. She was obviously not happy to see the fur from my dogs. She asked the people who were bathing the dog nearby and asked them with a smile if everything was fine, did their dog enjoy the bath? And she turned to me and said something rather rudely. To be honest, I don’t know why I or my dogs didn’t please her, but there was a feeling that maybe she didn’t like my accent, which leads to very unpleasant thoughts. Basically my experience is this. I hope the management will read this comment and explain to the manager that all customers are equal. And furthermore we have a big community of Ukrainians owners here, so I can share with them my experience about this

Every single time I enter the store the owner has to lecture me!! SHE doesn't recommend raw food for puppies, (I didn't ask for her opinion) you can not buy iton-supplements without prescription....When I chose a high protein food for my other dog after I was helped by very nice staff she had to tell me that THAT was a high protein food! (AGAIN I did not ask for her opinion!) And then today when I entered with my 9 weeks old puppy toI buy boots, I was told she CAN NOT be on the floor, because they can not guarantee ....blah blah... How on earth does she think we go potty outside? BTW: She has been to different stores already!! Way to get rid of customers!!!This was definitely the last time in this store!!

Staff was very unfriendly and the manager Jackie was horrible. So rude and irritable. Bought $100 bag of dog food and the bag ripped when we got home. The manager was so unhelpful and kept questioning me and saying rude remarks to me as to why the store should replace the bag. Packaging malfunctions happen all the time (I worked at a pet store). Jackie made it the worst experience for me and I am a frequent shopper there. Will no longer be shopping at the Henderson location. Sad to see that is how a manager treats the customers there and still has a job. I never ever review or complain about anything, however this experience appalled me and really disheartened me at a store that I go to often.

It was at 8pm when we walked in to get our two dogs treats and 2 toys. There were 2 employees working and standing at the front desk (first impression we thought they were irritated that two customers came in before close on a thursday night) My husband and I were looking for a specific treat for our dogs and the associates couldnt be bothered to help us out. After about 5 mins of looking we decided on 2 toys to purchase for our dogs. The lady who processed our transaction didnt even ask if we had the rewards card and offered to help us look for what we came in for. Over all I honestly would not recommend going here and to be honest this is why we shop at pet smart.

I always have a great experience coming to Pet Valu. The topping of the cake is the staff. Always very friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Never had a mediocre exoiernce, always top notch service. My little pup now has a bunch of environmental and food allergies, first time pet owner having to deal with allergies. So it was so comforting hearing tips from staff to help ease me into the process going forward. Appreciate all your help and knowledge and amazing staff. Thank you.

Bought a freedom no pull harness for my dog. He wore it twice since I bought it yesterday and it’s ripped in 2 places. Might be chewed but in one day. Might not be Their fault but what a cheap harness for 65 bucks. I should’ve went with my gut and got a real one. So I go in and no question call the company we only take it back if it’s the workmanship. Hmmmmmm isn’t it.

I called ahead to ask if the dog wash station was open. I was told yes, I asked if I needed to make an appointment. Was told no it's first come first serve now. (After COVID). So I drive down and come into the store only for them to tell me someone (not me), had called ahead and reserved the dog wash station so I wasn't able to use it...

Stubborn staff. I had original receipt and packaging for an item purchased only a week prior. Had to go back and forth with the staff until they finally gave me my money back. Go to another location for your pet value needs, it's a good store but the staff at this Henderson location sucks.

Great service during these difficult times. The staff are knowledgable about the products they sell. They are friendly and seemed to go out of there way to help me get what I needed. Prices of the dog food seem comparable to other places. I return regularly for pet food and treats.

Update: 12-NOV-2022 Been some time - HUGE expansion. Same great place Love this place! Amazing owner and helpful staff. We couldn't ask for a better neighborhood pet store. They're always paying it forward as well in supporting local rescue shelters!

Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Feel very welcome walking in and being greeted kindly. Cats have been fussy for some of the food and they have no problem giving a refund with receipts. I feel that my pets needs are greatly important here.

First time I placed an store pickup order and I definitely recommend this store!! The order was ready for pickup so in less than 10 mins, which saved my husband a trip later in the day. They're always friendly and willing to help when needed.

Pet value on Henderson is my go to place to go, amazing staff who are full of knowledge. We have a great dane with a sensitive stomach and the staff has worked with us to find food that will work for our dog. 100% recommend

Great location, the staff are friendly and helpful and are always happy to see my Dog! I use the dog wash station, it is $10 and they have absolutely everything you could need. I will never wash my dog at home again.

Polite staff, wide choice for cats and dogs. They have bacics for rodents (guinea pig) too. Almost always they have a cat for adoption who lives in store. You can play with them and also buy th snak ;-)
