I waited for help to get fish but after about 10 minutes and deciding nobody was going to help me I waited in line to tell the cashier that I needed help. After she said she would send somebody over there, I never saw anybody, so I came back and asked for a manager. When the manager finally arrived I told him the situation and he seemed confused as to why I was upset. I asked if you can get me the 20 goldfish I came there for place, and then he told me that he would get somebody to do it. Ok, here we go again.... I proceeded to wait as he went to the isles and track down the assistant manager that was doing nothing but avoiding us, to tell him to go get fish for us. what is the point of having a job there if you just want to avoid the customers and not help them? I don't understand at all. this particular location I went to could have use more employees, and better ones at that. The animals are awesome, but the customer service is terrible.

Manager was completely rude. I ordered a pickup online and came a little over an hour after I placed the order needing the item immediately. She said I had to give her 3 hours to pick it (even though she and the 2 other employees appeared to be twiddling their thumbs). The 3 hour limit was nowhere on their website and i was surprised she wasn't happier i was willing to come in and pick it myself. The process took all but 30 seconds. I told her things had changed, i couldn't wait, and had picked the item myself and asked to checkout and she said again that I was supposed to wait until she got it but begrudgingly printed the receipt from the office and handed it to me. Petco is way more friendly and will get all my business from now on.

My name is Cody i am 9 year old. I like playing fotball and baseball with my best freinds but i aslo like cats but Brady says that cats are for girls but im a boy but i like cats and Brady said that dogs are boy amimals, i dont like dogs but i pretend that i do and making my photo a dog i saw on my moms compuetr. Brady dosent like cats becaus they are girl amimal, but to proof him rong me and my mom came here to take picters of the cats and buy one cat because my mom aslo likes cats just like me but not Brady. the cat we got we name the cat Mittens and my mom let me name him but when Brady came over to meat Mittens he say he was a girl cat and i was so sad that he went home. thak you petSmart for cat.

Extremely helpful staff, good array of pet care choices. I don't generally like pet store chains that sell live animals, that being said, I've seen the live animal areas CONSTANTLY staffed with employees to care for these animals, unlike their competitor where I had to finally ask the cashier to come help me because the only other staff there were managers who were in some room laughing and seeming to have a good time, while this poor girl, I guess, watched the whole store(which is fairly small) by herself, and NOONE tending ANY of the animals. I'm sure stores vary, but these were my experiences. Petsmart will remain the pet store I do business with for these reasons, and more. :)

I had to wait to make this review as I was very upset. I adopted a kitten here with a broken jaw. They told me it would require maintenance and I was okay with that! Beautiful cat and she’s very sweet. I get her home and within 2 days I had spent almost $200 at the vet. She had ring worm , ear infection and a sinus infection. Yes. All came prior to me adopting her. PetSmart said they couldn’t do anything so I contacted the shelter she came from. They weren’t going to do anything so I had to push and push for at least half of it to be paid for. I paid $110 the cat that was supposed to be adopted out healthy. Needless to say I’ll be adopting elsewhere from now on.

EVERYTHING PETS! Even actual pets... birds, cats, lizards, cats. They also have dog adoptions every so often - and more. This location has a groomers I take my pets to, they do wonderful work. There is also a Banfield veterinarian office They carry special prescription food, but you will need paperwork from your vet to purchase it. Huge selection of toys and supplies for cats and dogs, young and old, small or large. The laser etched name tags are cool, try it sometime. I've gotten three of them so far. The store (of course) is pet friendly. It's fun to bring your pets along with you to go shopping, see the sites, and pick out their own toys or treats.

4 weeks ago I bought a blue beta fish from Walmart, it was an impulse buy. I felt so sorry for him, he was very sickly. I took him to PetSmart they helped me get a good set up for my guy. We had a good 4 weeks together, he got better but then last week took a turn for the worst. Took him to PetSmart the gals were very knowledgeable about beta fish and helped me dispose of him when he kicked the bucket in the store. While I was there the hals helped me get a new big healthy beta fish. He's pretty cool, will be how his personality is the longer I have him. Point blank, staff are awesome and know their stuff. Thanks guys!

What happened to PetSmart? It used to be a fun place to go, where you could find your products and browse. It never fails that they aisles are blocked with employees stocking the shelves, blocking you from getting what you want. I tried shopping online for pickup to keep the store open, but the online is so limited and NEVER has half of what I want. BTW, I want to buy by the case, not 1-2 cans of food at a time. Most of the time, I have to pick up at the Liberty store due to availability. I am trying to keep these stores open rather than online shopping at Chewy. Pick it up PetSmart, you are losing this battle.

The animals are very well taken care of here. You can definitely tell. I have gotten a little mouse here a while back, and he is extremely healthy and happy. You can tell they care about the animals. In my opinion, that is the number one requirement for a pet store. They were extremely helpful and friendly, and recommended the best brands for my new pet. I have enjoyed coming here since I was a little kid, my parents used to take me so I could see the animals. All in all, great store, they will always have my business. As far as it being messy, I never noticed it at all, it seems very clean to me.

Took my one year old pup here for the grooming services. Had an appointment and was told it would take two hours. After two hours I received a call saying they couldn’t do the service because “he is being aggressive”. My dog is a female to start with, and shows no signs of aggression. She is properly socialized with routine visits to leash free dog parks. Come to figure out, they had just kept her in a kennel for two hours, with no services being performed. Now, I’m going home with a scared puppy after wasting my afternoon. I wouldn’t take her back there if they paid me to do it.

DO NOT BUY WORMS FROM THIS PET SMART FOR REPTILES!!!! i had a perfectly healthy 2 year old leopard gecko and i purchased worms from this store. I normally buy from PetCo and I've never had any issues. I bought worms from this PetSmart that contained parasites that ended up killing my leopard gecko overnight. Sad that stores are allowed to sell things to us that can harm our pets. I was unaware of this issue at the time, but i want to make others aware. My leopard gecko lost his life because of bad worms at this PetSmart, and I dont want the same to happen to someones elses pet.

I have purchased from this exact location last month in February as well as their online pharmacy using a prescription from Petco, because the local Petco doesn't carry any prescription food. However, for some reason suddenly today when I went in, they've changed their policy? ‍♀️ The cashier was extremely dismissive and seemed to have the mindset of "oh well, don't care". I'm normally the anti-karen. But I don't understand why I've been able to before, but not today. It sucks that I will have to stop shopping here now if they won't sell me the product I need.

Had curbside order, arrived at location when u pull in parking lot they have no clear markings on where to park so I parked in the closest spot to door and pushed I arrived…..sat for a few minutes next thing I know the order goes away and I had to go inside to get it! Talked to an employee he stated that is was CURBSIDE pick up and I was to be up in the fire lane waiting ….due to their employees almost being hit…they do not come out in parking lot at all.. I’m confused… won’t be back to this location this is the first PetSmart I’ve ever had an issue with….

A great place to get animal supplies. I have a guinea pig who loves the food and toys I get! A little overpriced compared to large, online retail chains, but very good location and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It especially helps that the person I talk to all the time has some small pets of her own, therefore, it is very helpful to not only be reassured she knows what she's talking about, but also just nice to have a conversation with a fellow pet lover about our animals. I recommend going to this Petsmart.

Our family wanted to go back and visit with one of the cats there for adoption. We asked an employee (seemed to be a manager) and she told us unless we were very serious about taking it home TODAY that we were not allowed to. I told her we were serious but not wanting to take it home today. Wanted to even see if the cat had the personality we wanted for our family. She said we could not then. Good luck getting those cats adopted. We will go to an actual shelter to adopt where we can actual hold and visit with the cat. Geez.

I have come to this location for my doggos' supplies, training, and grooming. The training they received here with Pat was wonderful - my dogs and I were less frustrated with one another following her class. I also bring my doggos to get baths at the grooming salon. They always leave looking happy and super clean! I also love the PetsMart rewards program, which really helps you save $$$ when you pay attention to thr deals or even play games on the app to earn coupons. Always have nice service here!

My dog's retractable leash got lost at my parents house so I ran in here to see if they carried them. They actually have a wide selection of retractable leashes in all different sizes and colors. I picked out one with a reflective housing and a neon ribbon lead. I also found a light that attaches to the side of the housing so I will be better able to see on our evening walks. I am so excited about the leash I found and my dog loves it as well. He wants to go for walks all the time now.

Bad experience with online ordering. I ordered two items to be picked up at this particular store and one item got sent to the Vision Rd store because they were out of the one I choose. I called the vivion Rd store and they said they could not send me the item to my store, and they will not send the item to my home either . Customer service was also rude at Vivion Rd store and told me that I didn't choose the right store which was not true. I'm done shopping at PetSmart!!!

Great staff, ever sense we found out our little 16 yr is sick the staff realy has been helpful with explaining our options and not pushing them on us. They keep telling us we don't have to go further on a treatment plain other that just letting him eat whatever he wants and make sure he gets plenty of rest, also to make sure he drinks plenty of water. Some of the staff have no idea how to inform the patrons on how to care for the animals other than dogs and cats. It was interesting to see the difference in information from the 2 different days I went looking for hermit crabs. One employee was a mountain of knowledge and the next day I went, all I got was "I don't usually work at this location." It took what the first person told me plus my own research in order to make an informed decision on what to buy.

Super friendly and helpful staff, even though it seemed they may be a bit understaffed. It's not my usual PetSmart location so set-up and stock was a little different, making my visit longer than usual or expected. This is important when you run into the store 10 minutes before closing time. Not once was I rushed or made to feel like I was a nuisance when I had to decide on a different food than I usually buy my picky senior cat. Thanks so much, ladies!

I've been taking my pet to this grooming this salon for about 10 years now. I've always had a positive experience. The prices do seem to change sometimes and are inconsistent. The staff is always friendly and they always take care of my little guy every time. Banfield is also located in this store. I've had good experiences there as well but it can be very costly. A single rabies shot was over $60.00. The Banfield staff was amazing as well.

My favorite go to for all my little girls needs. Every treat, every toy and she can pick out herself. PetSmart is Awsome... Great staff always helpful and even when she is under the weather the Dr recommends special food they have it, or will order it for me at will. I can't share enough great PetSmart stories. The staff realy do care. Thank you all so much for all the years of great service. All your pets needs in one stop shop.

My vet was closed and I needed prescription cat food for my daughter's cat, she left hers at college. I went hoping to find something I could get that would work. The hospital inside was open and they made a call to my daughter's vet who was open and confirmed the prescription food. They were so helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised they had this care inside PetSmart and a groomer. I'll be back to use them more often.

I use to shop here for all my animal 's necessities. The workers do not know enough to fully help. The fish for within hours and I am an experienced with fish. The y blame you even when water samples show normal. Good is overpriced and they have the good quality and fairly priced food hidden so you can't find it . It takes over 5 minutes to walk the store to even find an employee. Management hides in office .

Lady helped me on the phone really helpful, 5 stars. Gave me a bunch of different options for my crying pup at home because ive been getting noise complants while im at work and she listed a bunch of stuff that helped me out. But once i asked for her name to give her credit for helping me out she hung up lmao. You did a great job miss. Who ever you were. Wish i could give ya a tip or something!

We've purchased prescription food from this location multiple times in the past; however we were rudely rejected by the cashier today as they've suddenly changed policy to only sell prescription food if it's prescribed through their pharmacy. Cashier was dismissive with other customers and doing everything possible to push them off on somebody else. Will not be returning to this location.

Having recently set up my aquarium, I went to the store in Liberty to purchase some tropical fish. The store is practicing Social Distancing and all store associates and customers were wearing masks. Service was immediately available when we walked through to the fish department. The associate was friendly and knew about fish. The cashier was also delightful - very friendly and efficient.

I have taken my dog there this is the 3rd time because I'm new to the area the 1st 2 times they were pretty good the 3rd time I don't think all the service I paid for was given to him because he still smell like a dog and he still got dirt on them that was on him before he got there I asked even if I tooken did you bathe them and I was told yeah but I am not satisfied with this last visit

I really enjoy it here. The staff is nice and the animals' quality of life is amazing. I want people to understand that this is not a pet rescue. These animals are bred, not picked up off the street or were surrendered by previous owners. The animals aren't going to be cheap because of this, like a review about a 50 dollar rabbit, 100 dollar cat or dog. People need to understand this.

If you want pet stuff, they have it! They must carry every brand of high end food. I managed to find a bag of real pigs ears (dogs love me!). Tons of toys for owners to entertain themselves, I bet the pets will even enjoy some! Weird POS units at the registers... Not really sure what they mean by "sale" as everything is full retail+, but you wont waste your day looking, they have it!

We've visited a couple other stores in the region and were unimpressed. We stopped here as we were headed home and had our recently aquired puppy with us. Great experience for use and Loki. Store wasn't overly busy, well stocked and everyone was friendly. Made for a good socialization experience for Loki, and we got what we were looking for. We may make the drive for future needs.

Terrible service in the adoption area. Went to look at kittens with my wife. When she asked to see one she was rudely told that it was appointment only and that no appointment was available for two days. Terrible customer service by the associate that basically told us to fux off over her shoulder as she was walking away. 10/10 would not recommend dealing with that person.

We usually buy something from Petsmart at least once a week for either our dog, Lorenzo, or one of our cats. We love to go to the PetSmart in liberty because of the sales associate Randy. He is so kind and it’s always there to greet us when we walk in. He answers all of our questions and is always so friendly. I wish more customer service workers were like Randy.!

Very clean and tidy, staff is helpful and friendly. They offer a variety of services for animals, including training, adoptions and vet visits. The layout of the store is easily maneuverable and it's very easy to find what you need. If you have any trouble is that is very helpful friendly and it gets you where you need to get whatever you need for your pets.

I've been taking Gracie there for many years everyone is so great from the time you walk into the door until you walk out. I use their grooming salon for Gracie, Rachel and the whole grooming staff is super great Gracie never wants to leave and if course we can't leave without a treat for her. It's pretty sad day when a 4 lb bag of dog food cost $21. It happened to be on sale for $13. Do you think I got it for $13 oh no oh because you don't have a phone number. I wish my mother would have started her dog on a different brand of food. I would never step in that store again I did not find them customer friendly at all but that's just my opinion

Just adopted a cat and they gave me a great packet of coupons to get us on our way! Then the lady that helped me was so well informed and told me the right food, the right litter, the right treats and even some special toys that cats love and she was right about it all! Mystic is home, settled in and enjoying his new life thanks to Petsmart! Thank you!

The cat groomer here, Megan, is nothing short of amazing. The fact that her and the other groomers schedule around a coworker with cat allergies truly speaks to how much these people care about animals and their owners. Our cat Luna had been very skiddish of anyone besides my gf and I, but they got her taken care of comfortably and quickly

Used their online order & in-store pickup service and I was very impressed with how smoothly the transaction happened. I've been having some difficulty with my usual online sources of my dog's food (the A place and the W store), and I was very happy to find that PetSmart not only had the food, but at a lower price than I'm accustomed to paying!

We recently adopted a black pit bull mix from a rescue and this was her first time going up for a nail trim, so we weren’t sure how things were going to go. Most people see black pit bull and immediately assume bad dog. The ladies there were so good with her. They even gave us advice on things to do to make subsequent trips more successful.

I went in to get my dog groomed but was turned away because he still has stitches in his leg from an injury. I was glad that the grooming staff was honest about the possibility of infection and didn't want to take chances with his health. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely return to that location again.

I gave the store here in Liberty only a 3 and that may be to high. There were some who were happy to help you. But I encountered someone who felt you were bothering them and they really just did not want to help. They made me feel my questions were stupid and that they just were not interested in helping me out. Anonomus

I like being able to bring my dog in here and I love that they work with the local animal shelters for cat adoptions. They do dog adoptions on the weekends. This is the only place that sells the quality of dog food my Italian greyhounds will eat, and I buy special formula for my diabetic cat here.

The store was clean. The employees were nice. They were busy with so many kids being put of school and they handled it great. The fishes all looked healthy and the aquariums were in good order. I just wish they had a better selection of different fish instead of the normal guppies, Mollies etc...

The only groomer to ever properly trim my dog's nails. They also have a great app with a fun game "bejeweled style" that gives you coupons when you hit point goals. This location is always clean and the staff is friendly. They have convenient hours and have ship to store options from the site.

Very disappointed with this store. Every time I have been in to get fish for the last few months they will not sell them because they are under staffed and say they don't have time to mess with them. I went to Petco down the road and they were friendly and made time to help there costumers.

Pretty average PetSmart, so I'm going to give it a four out of five stars. It's not like your going to have a coming to god situation in this particular PetSmart. But you definently will find what you are looking for. So with that said, the ruling is still gonna be four out of five stars.

Easy to find and a full selection of pet supplies for most kinds of pets. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the products in the store. They carry most products you can't find anywhere else without difficulty. Honored multiple coupons without question and were very nice .

Very clean and welcoming! I didn't know they adopt cats from there. There were about four cats all super cute and loveable! I wanted to take them all home but since I'm just here visiting that isn't an option. I always like going to petsmart but this one was the best so far!

This was our first visit here. The y did a good job on the outside of his coat, which is why I gave 3 stars. However, however, when he rolled over, we noticed his underbelly. It’s been butchered and is now mostly bald!!! What the heck happened here? I’m completely baffled.

They don’t take care of their animals. We won’t be supporting this business due to the lack of care and empathy they have. We were in there and they had this leopard gecko who was on its last leg due to over crowding. They even had open cages they could’ve moved him into.

I had met the ruddiest worker Chloe while i was there, i was trying to get crickets n she just slumped over the register on her phone instead of helping me, then proceeded to get an attitude with me because i didn’t know where to go to get help from another associate.

I just had a Wonderful trip to PetSmart!!! First, Brandon the sales associate was Totally Awesome!!!!! It was nice to be able to get our cats a big variety of frisky canned food and they also had the 47 lb. Bag of Pro Plan dog food!! Thank You Pet Smart!!!!

If your buying an aquarium, Stay away from their brand, Top Fin. The quality isn't there. Better off paying more for a better quality product. They are short on help. The fish department had a sign that said "Closed" on a Tuesday? Prices are higher than Petco.

There was a mixup on the quantity ordered and the quantity received. The matter was resolved very quickly with the store CALLING US to straighten it out. We were surprised when the store reached out to us and the issue was fixed! Kudo's to the store staff!

I really like the supplies that are here, but we most often go for litter and the pet services which always make us uncomfortable because they seem overworked and understaffed. We've stopped taking our pets here because we're just uncomfortable with it.

It always a clean store. I personally have always had great service in the aquatic and check out. People love to bring in their pets which is always fun to see. But the drive home when my allergies kick in always remind me why I have fish not mammals.

I very rarely walk out without what I came to get. I have had some good experiences, but the amount of incompetence was laughable. Waited in line to check out for like 20 min. Finally just left. Whoever was managing should be ashamed.

Went to look at fish here and there were several obviously DEAD betta fish, very sad and depressing. Not to mention how filthy the fish tanks were. These poor babies need someone to care for them better, petsmart should be ashamed!!

We all know petsmart so you likely know what to expect however they do have a few hard to find things like idopods, the odd tarantula or two, unique ball python morphs, and even fancy goldfish which aren't too baldy priced

This PetSmart has employees that don't have any clue about what they are talking about and very rude. I wouldn't buy anything from them even if it was the only pet store in Independence. You're better off going to Petco.

I love PetSmart for the Banfield vet in there Insurance for my older dog is 48.00 a month. I do wish it covered more as some services can be a bit pricey but so far he is healthy and doing great at almost 10 years old.

My dog loves coming here. They always spoil him with treats, and you can tell the staff genuinely are animal lovers. The vets at Banfield are also super nice. We've seen w and our dog loved them, even after his shots.

I needed a new collar for my dog I found exactly what I wanted and it matches her leash I had previously bought there. Sales person extremely nice and showed me where rain-coats were I was interested in purchasing.

Clean and well-organized. Not sure what else you need from a chain pet store. As always, the dog beds were a little over-priced, but we found one large bed that didn't break the bank. Our husky and son love it!

Bought four fantailed guppies and they are doing well. We had an hour and half drive home but they did well in the bag. We love them and are looking forward to purchasing more fish for our aquarium. Thank you.

Highly recommend grooming services for your new pups! Beyond a bath at home, ours won't let us do much else. Glad to have found a staff that he likes to go to. They take pride in their services and it shows!

They do not offer military discount, which I think everyone should. However, the staff was very helpful. If the price is lower online they adjust the price at the register accordingly.

Purchased a 54 corner fish tank combo with stand. Hood light didn't have power supply. Didn't have another, wanted me to return whole set up. Wouldn't give me another light fixture.
