I made an appointment approximately ten weeks ago to get my dog a bath and haircut, only to arrive to on time today (with all requisite veterinary paperwork in hand) to be told I had to be rescheduled because the groomer who originally scheduled the appointment was no longer at this location and there was no further availability that day. I was further informed that the groomer in question left the location shortly after I made the appointment itself, meaning that PetSmart had a full 8 or 9 weeks to either fill the vacancy or contact me to reschedule, and yet they did nothing. When I protested, I was informed that I was merely "one of the ones who fell through the cracks", which is a fitting metaphor, I suppose, for an establishment that seems to value customers as much as dog trimmings that get brushed to the floor. COVID-related excuses about short-handedness, etc. are understandable, but only go so far when you a) use computers for scheduling and b) have at least two months to correct this kind of thing in advance. Review is three stars instead of only one because this salon does, in fact, do good work taking care of dogs, i.e. - if they deign to perform the requested service at the scheduled time.

I had gone to this store to buy some goldfish and had asked the young lady that was an employee there about how big the goldfish grew and I told her how many I wanted then she told me it was too many so then I asked her If I could only buy 3 she told me no because my fish tank wasn't going to be to much room for them she told I could only buy one goldfish she didn't recommend she told me no I could only buy one she asked me if I was planning on buying a bigger fish tank in the future I told her yes but still told me I could still only buy one I am very disappointed there is a lot of goldfish in there fish tank in the store but she refused to sell me 3 goldfish I very disappointed I don't know what all the fuss was about the employee made me feel like I was going to hurt the fish It takes time for goldfish to grow to there adult about 4 months or so I have some time to buy them a bigger tank it's not like I was going to harm the fish either way I feel like since I am the customer she should have recommended her opinion instead of telling me no since I was the customer

Everyone in the reviews are talking about adoption of animals, I myself bought fish at this location and 4 out of the 6 died, I have a background in tropical fish so I'm almost sure it wasn't my tank. I called the store they only have a 15 day replacement policy and with receipt only. I've shopped this store for a couple of years, but never for fish and after spending $40 on fish that I was trying to get for my tank that was fault of an electrical outing I was trying to get the couple of fish that I saved a couple friends, they were lonely I had had them about 4yrs, but needless to say I couldn't find my receipt and they wouldn't replace them. I won't be shopping there anymore. Most pet stores give you 30 days and remember their customers and offer replacement without question.☹️

We’ve had our puppy Nachito groomed by Meranda twice. She always does such a great job with him! Nachito was nervous on his first go but she was able to keep him calm and steady. The last time he went to see her, was his first full haircut. Meranda is kind and patient. When we took him for that appointment he was excited to see Meranda. She gave an excellent report on his behavior. I was so happy with the outcome as I could see Nachito’s adorable little face. He was able to stay cool in hot weather. He received so many compliments on his handsome looks after his time with Meranda. I’ve recommended Meranda to all my family and friends as I plan on having her groom Nachito and any other dogs we may have. We will be seeing her again soon! Attached are before and after pictures.

I took my dog to get groomed at the Eubank location and we worked with Reina and she was great! Einstein is very sensitive with touch and strangers and she did so well with him and was very kind and patient. I did get a call about an hour in to his appointment letting me know she found fleas all over him and had to do the flea treatment. I was a bit surprised considering we haven't noticed any issues with him and fleas, he's on preventative medication, doesn't scratch, no issues with the rabbit he often plays with, nor have we seen any fleas. But it's better to be safe than sorry! Prices were good-$45 for the groom for a schnoodle and $30 for the flea treatment.

Very rude employees. Because I'm a darker skin tone. They looked at me and treated me as if I was going to steal from them. I asked a lady if she could help me get a fish she said yes. She walked away and never came back, so I was waiting for a while and the other employee rudely asked me if I needed something!?? I said yes just waiting for the other lady to help me with me fish... She said oh .And watched my every movement. So after waiting 15 minutes I just left. EveronEv else that walked in they just smiled at. They greeted them. But me. They watched my every movement they never helped me , they wanted me gone. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN.

All of the employees are polite, and most are helpful. Unfortunately, the person who knows fish the best went on break while I was walking in, and Petsmart still doesn't do a lot to educate their employees on fish needs. Luckily, I have been in the hobby for over 3 decades, so the biggest impact for me is the employee didn't know about stock, or water parameters of the tanks, to reduce stress on fish. Store was clean, employees practice safe pandemic protocols, and cashier is constantly going above and beyond in answering questions (correctly). This is my preferred location, even if it's a little further from my home.

The groomers here on August 31 and September 1 were AMAZING !. It’s hard trimming one of my dogs nails and instead of handing her back with “this is all I could do” the man there handed her back and said he couldn’t grind her nails very well if I could come back and have another employee give it a try. Most places won’t even care if you got your money’s worth and just hand them back without saying a word! I appreciate you guys ❤️. It took two when I came back to get her nails completely done and I’m grateful For the effort! Ms. Champ got her nails did too lol Lady and the Champ are very grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Four years ago I walked into this store to pick an item for my dogs. However, the first & last thing I laid eyes on was a beautiful blue-eyed mocha colored 6,-month-old kitten. I had not had a cat since I was a youngster, due to allergies. I immediately went to the back of the store where the adoption volunteer was & asked to see her. That was all it took. She was as sweet as she was beautiful and has been with me since that time. She came with having been spayed and all her shots for $100. What's not to be appreciated? The process was made so simple & I have been in love with my Bonnie Bleu ever since!

It was advertised on the news that there would be a 25 dollar adoption event starting on Saturday through Sunday. Well we were wanting to add to our family we looked at all of our options and found 1 that was perfect! We asked what we needed to do for the paperwork and they said the price was 175.00dollars!? They said the news station wasn't right and that was the price, not only that but we would have to pay to have shots and get it neutered as well. We get really deceived. False advertising. Get the story straight and stop breaking people's hearts!

Always friendly and helpful staff the several times I've visited this location over the span of several months and the convenience of having a sam's club , game stop ,Walmart and dollar all within a leisurely walking distance is a extremely huge plus. This location has mostly everything in stock of what you would need for you cat, dog , fish or other pet you may have and if you have troubles there you can always head to Walmart if needed. It's a clean and well stocked store everytime I visited but if that changes I will update my review .

I was a little nervous about giving my cat a flea treatment cause she had a bad reaction to one i picked up at another store. The young girl Trinity with her Supers permission here at Eubank let me bring Mighty into the store and sat with me while I applied the medicine. She could not of course help in any way so as to not violate store policy but gave me the compassionate support I needed and all went really well!!! Thank you so much Petsmart!!! Mightys doing great with the safe frontline product you sell and we are itch free!!!! Haha

I picked up my best friend’s cat as she was stranded out of town and her Kiki was outdoors. I was able to catch him but needed to get his special dry food and cat litter as well as some wet food. PetSmart was the only place I could think of that would have it all. I wasn’t sure which scent of litter to get so the cashier pulled up my prior receipt and verified I had selected the correct one. Next stop was my place with a very happy cat with all the comforts of his own place. PetSmart made my day so much easier.

PetSmart was clean but some of the employees were very rude the one in it was doing stocking in the back where the dog beds were he was very rude the only person that was nice was the cashier going out and the lady her name I think is Laura I believe in adoption that was very very nice other than that I wouldn't return to that store and prices are really outrageous they're the same items that you guys still there I can purchase them at Walmart for half the price or less I wouldn't recommend it

Today was excellent! My Molly completely enjoyed her spa day! We enjoyed the plus package with cutting! Completely worth the time may I include we got lucky and were able to be seen the following day from making the appointment. It really was a great experience and to include with this awesome package that only costed the mere $81 is a 20% off the next two appointments just so Molly is familiar with their environment and all visitors! Her tech is Charlie I would highly recommend her!

I walked in on a very special day I was able to adopt a cat this particular day free I don't know if this free thing is all the time but I quickly took advantage of it and got me a new family member a Calico Moka, who is just so beautiful and sweet a year-and-a-half-old and is a total Kitty and loves to play with her new family member also SYFY so we have a total family all three of us now and I thank you to all the people who Service Center thank you high-five very pleased

The staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly. They helped me immediately find the puppy formula and everything else I needed for my new 4 week old mixed dog female, as well as a delicious treat for the 2 year old female blue nose pitbull I already have. I will definitely be returning for more items as my puppy grows, as well as to get treats, toys, and accessories for my bigger girl! I wouldn't recommend any other PetSmart or PetCo, honestly.

Employees were rude. It seemed obvious that most customers that enter here are treated as though they are shoplifters which is inexcusable. I haven't lived here long but am beginning to see that shoplifting is a huge problem in Albuquerque, however, I should be able to shop in a store and NOT be treated as though I am a thief. I will not shop at this store again. I was very upset when I left. I have never been treated like that before ANYWHERE!

Wow! Great service! I bought a fish tank kit a month ago, set it up, got it ready, and the brand new filter just stopped working. I didn't have the receipt, or the box anymore (I was dumb by not keeping it) and brought the filter to the store, thinking there would be nothing I could do and I would just have to eat the cost and buy a new one. But the sales lady was amazing and got me a brand new one exchanged out! Thank you guys so much!

This was my dogs first time being groomed, and I was so worried about how he we do. But I was very pleasantly surprised after picking him up, he looked adorable and the groomer had great things to say. Although he was very nervous, the groomer was so patient and kind with Winston and gave a great feedback when we picked him up! I enjoy using this Pet Smart and always bring Peaches here for her Doggy Spa Day! She recently caught Kennel Cough and I went in to get some medicine for her and the store was out of EVERY type of medication that could had helped her with this condition! I can understand being short stocked on an item or two, but there were at least 5 things that may have helped and they were all zero quantity on hand.

While travelling cross country with my dog in my passenger seat, I wanted to reward her for being so patient as I drove hours at end. We got her a bully stick from the treat bar and kept driving till our destination for the overnight stay. Store was very clean and well stocked. I was not looking for food but if I were, I wouldn't have had any problems. Keep up the good work.

Love this store...friendly, HELPFUL staff always!! I know they price match & want to shop local to keep our stores open...I took in the pricing from CHEWY, for the BLUE BUFFALO brand food I use....& actually did not need the price match at all...at the Petsmart club membership pricing was lower anyway. I am happy to support our local stores...our neighborhoods need them!!!!

Me and my fur baby love going here and least twice a week !! They acknowledge her always and as well when she walks up to the register they’ll call her out by name !! At that point she is then is handed a doggy treat that she walks outside the store with in her mouth just as happy as a doggy can be .. Ohhhh she looks forward to it all and so do I !!!

Staff where genuinely attentive to my circumstances and extremely helpful while adopting a cat. The price for adoption of a cat for the month June is 5 dollars flat! They even provide a free bag of cat food and a coupon book with savings on more cat related products! They cat food is a good quality food too not just one of the cheapest price tag

Petsmart is an amazing place I do all my pet shopping the staff is friendly knowledgeable and very helpful, they make me feel like I’m the only customer shopping at that time. I will Shop at Petsmart for years to come and would recommend Petsmart to all of my family and friends. And we’re definitely recommend a walk-through if you’ve never been.

Rude staff! They didn’t have any baskets so I had to carry two 30lb bags of dog food by myself, as a small woman, to the register while 5 different staff members watched me struggle. Then once I get to pay, I didn’t have enough money so I asked if I could run out to my car to get more and the cashier sighed at me and said “yeah I guess”.

They did a great job grooming my goldendoodles. The price was lower than other grooming salons around town. The groomers listened to how I wanted the dogs groomed and executed it perfectly. They also seemed genuinely happy to perform their jobs, they were very friendly towards me, and they really enjoyed working with the dogs

Cat food priced less than Wal-Mart and have plenty of the only flavors my cat's will eat with a large selection of premium brands as well at great prices. Great pet food is the authority brand for the large breed dog. Has everything in it that it needs to have and my dogs are so healthy with it. Lots of deals on clearance on the end stands, Love all the treat deals with stuff that's already on sale and by three get one free. And clearance sections to get stuff cheap, love it.

Staff is knowledgable and willing to personally assist in finding what I'm looking for. Dog classes are taught there. Adoptable animals are there to meet and great you. Store is clean and staff is engaged with customers and their work rather than playing on their phones or ignoring customers. I recommend this store.

Love it all. Beautiful store. Excellent stock. I went shopping today for my pretty pet. There was shelves of a huge variety of everything imaggenable. Treats, can foods. Toys, and pet carriers. There are pretty canaries, and hamsters, and guinny pigs. This is a store you will enjoy shopping for all your pets.

The prices are high but they have a few things you can't get anywhere else.I do enjoy going for the fishes and they do have a good range of tank fish, an added bonus is when they give out free fish fry sometimes. This pet store has everything imaginable for your pet needs. Food, hygiene, bedding, medicated products for the treatment of your animals pest hanger ones8 like fleas, lice, worms, etc. Leashes, collars, clothing, costumes. If PetSmart doesn't have what you need, Walmart is 25 feet down the walkway. LOL.

I went to cut my dogs nails and clean his ears, I forgot his shot records, they worked with me beyond what they really had to, fantastically. And they understood about the fact he really needed to know where his boy was when not in his sight, his service dog tendencies didn't stop for grooming issues lol

I can always count on PetSmart having my cats' favorite items in stock. They also have several locations conveniently located throughout the city, so if I'm in one area I don't have to drive all the way across town if I need to pick something up from PetSmart.

Have to be careful what you order. Food tends to be put together very messy. Fries are never cooked so substitutes are recommended. I've literally had to try and eat sandwiches with a knife and fork to avoid wearing my dinner.
