If i could give them zero stars i would. Had the absolute awful experience with pet barn at seaford!! Was hopping to adopte a kitten from them, rung this morning only to be told "we don't put cats on hold" I said "that's fine but can I put a deposit or pay in full for her now over the phone and pick her up after I finish work? To be told "we can't do that, we don't hold cats" I said " I live over an hour and 10 minutes away, (Paralowie- seaford on a friday at 4pm) am I suppose to drive that far and take a chance for is sold before I get there?" She says "yes, sorry" like she has no intentions to help this kitten find a family. No help what so ever my partner organises to leave work early that night to head down there and after getting off the phone to them for them to turn around and say " we don't do adoptions after 4, they take about half an hour (mind you they close at 6) to do." My partner said "we can be there just after 5" for them to say "We don't do adoptions after 4, you can come back tomorrow" My partner says "we work tomorrow (being saturday)" for them to say " we'll that's the next available time for you to adopt her". I was willing to pay in full over the phone, organise to leave work early to be there before they close (mind you driving from paralowie to seaford in peak hour traffic) to give this kitten a new loving home all for pet barn to keep coming up with excuses, adopting a kitten shouldn't have to be this hard or frustrating. So instead this kitten being with a family tonight it will probably be left in the store.

Went to adopt a specific cat this morning. Understandably there was a big line up. There was no established system of working out who was there first (or which cat they were after), no tickets, no place to write names down. We ended up waiting over an hour just to be told at the last minute that the cat we wanted was picked by someone who was possibly there before us. At first they said we should just argue with the other person as to who gets which cat (sounds like a great way to pit customers against each other without getting involved). You would think they could at least keep track of who was coming in and when. While we are glad the cat got adopted, I think it’s unacceptable that a store which has been doing adoptions for a long time hasn’t even worked out a basic system like this. What a massive waste of our time and unnecessary disappointment. Will never go back again and highly recommend picking a different store if you want more competent staff, an organised adoption, and less disappointment.

I purchased a number of things on the 23rd of march, and was advised by one staff member to get the next size up. When I went to exchange the harness 2 mins later under this recommendation, and because it was too small, another staff member adjusted the harness to the largest size and was told it was fine because she could get two fingers under. When I tried to explain that I wanted the next size up because it's a growing puppy and I don't want to have to replace it in a week, I was continually shut down while she repeated, "it's fine" over the top of me. I left feeling disappointed, unheard and dissatisfied. I won't be going back to seaford pet barn. It's a shame because the first lady was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with good advice. The second acted like I was bothering her. Disappointing

Working 9 to 5 unable to get my doggies in at drop off times for dog grooming. I contacted the store and male staff member told me that there is no other times I can bring my dogs in. Having no wiggle room I decided to purchase my own clippers. No assistance with choosing clippers, female staff member talking with male staff member about how bad her head aches are ( I hope she gets better and finds some relief) I struggled to get clippers from the shelf. Not even a " please let me help you" staff just stood at the counter and watched. Will not be back. Staff need training in customer service even basic customer acknowledgement.

Had a somewhat disappointing experience this Sunday just gone. Myself and my family pulled into the car park and parked right at the door, being the only customers there at the time of our arrival we thought we would have been welcomed but were instead met with a very overly dramatic eye roll from the lady who turned out to be the manager. Sunday’s in retail can suck we all get that but we did not feel welcome and almost left to drive to the Noarlunga store instead. Not a great example to be setting for her staff either, really disappointing.

Friendly staff, good selection of pet accessories, treats and dry foods etc. I was approached by a friendly staff member not long after entering, offering a warm welcome and assistance if any were required at any point during my visit. I picked up some great 2 for $30 toys for our mastiff and a very well priced 5 knot tuggy rope, he was over the moon with them. Definitely recommend stopping by for a look even if you just pick up some lovely treats for your pet, guaranteed you'll find some great bargains you can't just walk by whilst in store.

Best pet supply shop I've been to! Good for beds, water bowls and the like. They were very kind when we brought in our first rabbit to look for supplies. The only place they didn't have too much was genuinely healthy and safe treats. For those, I generally go online, as finding them is hard everywhere. But they helped us find a leash and harness to take our bun to the beach with, and were wonderful when doing so. We will be returning soon to get our second rabbit fitted into a beach harness.

I loved my visit here, I opened the door to be greeted by 3 wonderful bubbly staff members. Very helpful and very knowledgeable, honestly some of the best customer service I've received in a such a long time. The store is big, clean, well presented, full shelves, well looked after aquariums displays are fun and helpful. You can watch your dog/cat? get groomed in a safe clean environment behind glass walls. Lots of information available in store. Highly recommended..

Had our Japanese Spitz groomed here. Very impressed with the result! I was a little hesitant at first, as not everyone is familiar with the double coat breed. However, she was very knowledgeable. She knew not to trim too much off and how to shape the coat nicely. Would definitely recommend the grooming services, especially for double coated breeds!

Always have food for my doggie, have also taken my doggie to visit! People are really friendly and helpful. I love the little things you can buy there! Its amazing! From dog little treats to little creatures. If you are a member, you also get discounts which is great! Its free to be a member.

I wanted an item that was not available at my store. The fabulous staff member called 2 different stores while I was there searching for what I wanted. They didn't have any either so she took my number and told me that she would try all of the other stores for me and get it sent to my store.

Took my 8 month old puppy to the Seaford pet barn for a groom and although he came out looking so cute he has now wound up with a extremely painful major bacterial ear infection from where his groomers PLUCKED many hairs out of his ears after we simply asked for a trim. Will not be returning

Dog wash at Seaford Petbarn is great for in between grooming. The tub was clean, my dog was secured within the tub and the water was warm. Staff friendly and helpful despite them having problems with their computers. Best of all no mess at home when my dog shakes everywhere when he's wet.

The staff are friendly & helpful BUT " " Petbarn " you must be aware of as I received an email giving me $ 20 to spend on" whatever you want " except it's a CON , as the staff pointed out read the fine print & you have to spend $100 to get " THE FREE $20 " they promised ( offered )

used the dog wash first time in the store won’t be back not very friendly at all. not like the noarlunga staff as soon as you walk in noarlunga greet their customers and animals. seaford store were unfriendly. bit further but would recommend the noarlunga store by far!
