We arrived from NY City this morning and decided to have coffee, sandwiches, and pastry at this cafe. The sandwich was a joke. It was supposed to have been a tomato and cheese toastie, but the cheese was nowhere in sight. The manager assured us that the pastries were fresh and made today. On ordering a macaroon and pastry, it turns out both were dry and stale. The manager responded by saying they had been kept in the fridge. We returned the macaroon uneaten as it was inedible. A pretty bad start to our food journey in Australia. Would not go near this place again and would give it zero stars if allowed.

On Google reviews it says the cafe opens until 9pm on Thursdays. Well today (4th Jan) is Thursday, I came at 8:10pm and was only intending to get some macarons, and plenty of them were on the counter. The guy pretended that he didn’t see me at first, after I said “hello”, he VERY BRIEFLY raised his head for a second and said “sorry we closed” quickly. If you close earlier than your claims please update it! Also that experiences might have explained how many reviewers found that their bakeries were not fresh.

The staff were hospitable and super friendly with efficient and thoughtful service. I had a lovely chat with the barista on shift who was so sweet and was served a gorgeous cappuccino. The swan was really pretty and the milk was silky smooth. It made my morning way better.

Dont bother buying a coffee here. I ordered a cappuccino with a shot of hazelnut syrup. What I got was a bland latte. The worst coffee till date. It was made within a minute. They hire kids out of school who have a chat amongst themselves while making your coffee. Zero concentration. Over priced. Poor standards. Better off going to Utzi a few meters away. The coffee at Utzi is far far superior. I would have been more satisfied with one of those Nescafe sachets.

First time at this cute little cafe. Service and iced coffee were fabulous. Chocolate caramel tart was wowsers delicious. I’m not usually a caramel person but this was the perfect balance between sophisticated chocolate and caramel. We will be back for more.

I always enjoy having a coffee and a cake here. Great location and space. Friendly staff..special mention to Ivy who always stop & make a great effort for a quick chat no matter how busy she is. Keep up the good customer service:)

Extremely dry and sad carrot cake. Appears to have been in the fridge for quite some time already. Other cakes in the display cabinet don’t look very fresh either.

Worst coffee I’ve ever had. Either uses coconut or almond without asking. Putrid.
