Visited today just before closing - staff were really helpful! They had great tips for training our puppy and were generally a pleasure to interact with. We had an issue regarding our click and collect as it is not yet up and running, but staff were very apologetic and eager to help sort our issue quickly. Considering we were there just before closing time, they did not seem keen to kick us out and just wanted to help with our issues. Big shout-out to Rachel and Sophie in particular for their amazing customer service! Another thing we noticed that we thought was brilliant is the pronouns on staff name badges - go Pets at Home!!

Came to adopt a hamster for my son's birthday and we were so happy with the service. The representative took the time to chat about the hamsters needs and care, answering my questions, and allowed us to see all of the hamsters available so we could make our choice. We picked the hamster that seemed the most comfortable with people, he walked right up when the cage opened and was comfortable being held. He has continued to be a great joy! I had hamsters as a kid, and this may be the friendliest one I've ever encountered.Thank you to PAH and the employee who helped us that day!

Went there to buy some fish for our Aquarium. Women starts asking me all these questions. I tell her it's my mothers and she looks after everything and cares for the fishies by putting water cleaner, filters etc to make a nice clean environment to live. Your staff member did not believe the fish would survive because the environment is not safe for them as I did not know the tank size and if I am using the correct dosage for treatment. I understand the ethical reason but it's a gift for my lovely mother. I was not happy.

I visited pets at home Balham. A staff member called Dan was absolutely amazing! He was really friendly and gave me great advice as a new cat owner, I was very anxious entering the store but he reassured me and answered all my 100s of questions and helped me choose the appropriate Irene’s to purchase and with a smile! He even helped take my items to the car. Really hope he gets recognition for the great work he does!

Excellent customer service. I entered the store after a very poor and rude service at pets at home in battersea and at pets at home in Balham I received excellent customer service from Khya who helped me through the entire store experience. Khya was super helpful, gave me a lot of advice and is truly one of the best brand ambassadors I have come across. Thank you so much

Davina is extremely rude and judgemental. I will never be asking her for any assistance in the future. I will go back as this is my local store as other staff members seem nicer. I do not believe people as rude and as opinionated as she is of other dog owners who might do things differently should be allowed to work here. Made my experience today absolutely awful.

Came to but a hamster with my two young boys (age 11 and 8) and was served by Josh. Wow, wow, wow!! Josh just took us through EVERYING! Was patient, kind, helpful, fun, understanding, even gave my kids a little test at the end to ensure our little 'sunshine' was ready to go into good, capable hands! Josh made the experience just wonderful, a total superstar.

Really impressed with dog groomer Kirsty at The Groom Room. My boy came out fluffy as a cloud and she was excellent with him and talking me through everything. Highly recommend. A note on the store: it's small but mighty. Very clean, everything where it should be and incredibly well stocked. They even sell fish and small pets there too.

It's a Pets at Home: useful, but a lot of what's sold isn't safe for the animal it's made for. A couple of members of staff are really helpful. There's a woman there (Kayliegh?) who's very knowledgeable about rodents and care. It's good to find someone with proper welfare knowledge as Pets at Home who can get you to the right products.

Good & broad selection of dog food and paraphernalia. They don’t usually stock larger size bags of kibble which is understandable but unfortunate. Staff have been universally friendly and helpful whenever I’ve visited. There are some small animals (hamsters, Guinea pigs, fish etc) available and on show for the smaller visitors..

My dog had a an appointment for grooming The person who said being the manager was at the till. Very rude and impolite.II absolutely can not believe a person with her attitude can work in such a shop and being a manager also ..unbelievable !!She definitely knows how to lose customers..

Went there with my granddaughter, for first Time last week.well layer out .with most pets catered for .and dog growing section. The staff were very helpful and very knowable on all products in this well known shop. Very polite and helpful staff 10/10 …

I mostly go here for cat related things but they've got pretty much all pets covered. The store is huge, prices are very good and the staff are really helpful. There's also free parking in their parking lot just outside the store which is very convenient.

I love this shop the staff are so helpful and cheerful. Nothing too much trouble for them. Loads of lovely gifts for dogs, cats and other animals. I think I should ask them to ban me as I always come out with more than I intended to buy !

Buying puppy food and bits there, not always a huge selection for puppies of small breed. Also got some tick and flea bits there but person Manning that counter not always there. Friendly staff and helpful.

on the smaller size for a pets at home so it doesn't have all of the little dog treats and chews and things that the bigger ones do. still good for general pet supplies if a little pricey.

Got our hamster from here, Dan was properly helpful, ran us through everything we needed and we got a nice follow up call after a week. Reasonably priced essentials, would recommend.

Small pet at home shop. I came only to pick up things bought online. I think it is quite small to have everything you are looking for but it is the closest to my home :)

Love that it's local to me so I can quickly grab what I need. My only issue is my wainwright kitten fish food always run out so I have to result in buying a backup

Very nice store further up the road to London. Not big but very well organised offering a excellent variety of goods...some parking considering the area.

Overall nice clean store, but I find aisle are a bit narrow and trying to get dog coat other than small is quite difficult staff are all nice and polite

Small store had most of what I needed. Car park is so small can only park 3 cars outside. Nearly got blocked in by someone parking where they shouldn't.

At this little pets at home you can get mega bags of food. Bumper boxes of wet food, toys and fluffy blankets. The staff are friendly and welcoming

Good pet friendly chain. Staff are great. Sometimes don't have requested items but that seems to be due to recent delivery problems.

For the size of the store it is good. No problem for cats or dogs I think it needs a better selection of small mammal food and toys.

More suitable for larger pets. Small variety of stock for those who have smaller pets. Service and knowledge is great otherwise

Everytime I come in to buy cat grass never have in stock please refill your shelves and run the shop as it should be
