This particular store is located in the heart of Florida Road where there's a lot of good things to do and high profile people. Amazing shopping experience and great shopping environment. The design itself is very confusing as you habe to walk all the way down towards Lambert road for the exit, even if you parked on Florida Road, but I guess it is too late to change this store setting now. The store itself is neatly packed daily and they also serve pastries and some flowers which is something that adds some unique features to the store. Staff is always willing to help... :)

A welcome addition to Morningside and Florida Road. On bus route. Undercover parking. Shop before 8am and after 6pm for guaranteed street parking. Wheelchair accessible. Friendly, spacious ambiance; efficient and attentive staff. Butcher, Bakery (pasties and roast chicken), Fresh Flowers, well stocked with emphasis on food produce. Good variety of convenience foods for quick heating. One aisle dedicated to general household and personal hygiene essentials. Competition for Spar Florida and Avonmore as well as Woolworths Windermere and Cowey Roads.

Clean and neat but not professional. Example some fridge doors missing handles, hanging signs at till points were loose (we fixed them), was closing to closing so everyone (including manager) we're using to leave. There were braai chicken packs in the fridge section marked Fish. We had to wait a long while for a supervisor to "approve" our loyalty card details... Just hanging around... Fixing the ad banners... Florida Road is supposed to suggest a more upmarket, vibrant, professional feel. This didn't do it.

So convenient for a quick pop- in Lovely vegs , fruit , eggs and cheese but oh my word!! The sausages are so fatty, brined( def brine as I canmot get my lovely pan clean from salty brine residu. So so salty and overspiced I made many sausages in my life and although the spice combination was there( corriander predominant) it was inedibly salty and spices were not mixed through which gave meat these funny deep purple patches We had to chuck it away

Bad service last time I visited I was really treated bad by the manager Olive oil was on special and it was advertised at R109 I took it but at the till it rung 149 and when I ask the manager told me that employees who were supposed to have changed that price did not come on duty so he can not give me at 109 . That was bad I saw it as the fishing price just fishing me to come to the shop and when I am there you change price at the till

SPAR had no parking Pick n Pay does, unfortunately the parking design/layout is terrible. But in a fix it would work. I saw some foreigners as I entered asking for a sandwich or Pie. Found the bakery noticed there's nothing available. Had to direct them to Spar. Wide isles because there's such a terrible layout. Park in the back and have to walk out all the way around to get to one's car. I'm wondering how long it will last.

Brand new Pick n Pay opened in Florida Road 29 April 2021. Nice spacious aisles. Butchery & Bakery in store. Fresh flowers. Open daily 7 to 7. Parking on 3 levels. Enter and exit parking in Florida Road. Separate enter and exit points for the store itself. A great convenient addition for shoppers in the area. Just hope they are able to control the parking and also don't charge exorbitant parking rates for shoppers.

Poorest managed pick n pay. Staff was actually fast asleep today. Literally! Check the camera footage for proof. Didn't have product knowledge on a promo that was on a huge marketing board outside. Tried to call manager .. No manager available. The grocer pick n pay next door.. Cashiers almost cried when I gave them a coke to process. Never knew the brand could stoop so low.

I really want to support this Pick n Pay but unfortunately their selection isn't great. The bakery is very strange and I'm unsure if they actually bake products there. The rolls are usually stale and the selection of meats and sausages (especially hot dog Sausages) is poor. Good for some essentials, but I think they're missing a number of quality fresh goods.

Very small. Very busy. No parking available, or not much when we were there. Was asked my metro police to move our car. It was funny actually. The city approves more building and development in an ex-residential area transforming it into a busy Business district without expansion of roads, parking, etc. Poor planning leads to unhappy visitors to the city.

The place smells sometimes like wet boxes. Lines at the till are crazy long on weekday afternoons. They don't open enough tills. The staff are nice enough, but there are often just random boxes and trolleys used to stack shelves lying around. Management needs to do better. Tighten up, or people will simply rather go to Checkers in Windermere Centre.

For a second time I’ve bought meat that was spoiled in this store. 1st time it was mutton sausages they smelled horrible couldn’t eat them. 2nd time were chicken wings smelled totally awful. I’m not sure if the problem is with the refrigerators or what but please look into this. Otherwise it’s a neat store with great service.

So disappointed Firstly there fridges are not cold, and the food we bought was off, had to drive back to get a refund. And it was like they don't care. Can you imagine if we had given the food to a child. The shop does not smell good. Something is seriously off in that shop. I think that they should be inspected.

Was excited when a pick n pay opened walking distance to me,but will rate them 3 star so they take this up with clover as this is my second experience with purchase of milk.Sell before date = 9 January expiry date =10 but the milk was gone of the 6th and purchased on the 4th.

poor service , always happens after 6pm, 3 tellers open but customers in the que where 0utting back there basket item on the shelves and left without purchasing. including me this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Not worth the wait, seems system's where down.

I have tried several times to shop at this store. Every experience just gets worse and more worse. Bad service, bad attitude from staff and no manager ever present. Started as a up-market store, and now the bottom of the lowest of the lowest stores in Durba

Pathetic....Seems while the cat is away...the mice come out to play...No manager on duty.....Waited 10 mins for staff to put in an appearance at bakery.....and the shop was deserted...really disappointing...no knowledge of products at bakery as well...

A breath of fresh air! Small, not overwhelming or overcrowded, Very friendly staff, everything you need, Would be nice if the food and deli section could offer more foods for take home to eat but otherwise a convenient up the road place to shop !

Oh my coming from jhb and stopping over here for a quick shop only to find the prices ridiculously overpriced and ridiculously understocked. Basics like 2lt Coke Zero - not in stock. Simple items like no name toilet paper a massive R40 MORE

Their daily “reduced to clear” specials are amazing! I wouldn’t do a full grocery shop there as it is quite small, but perfect for the essentials. It’s also what Florida Road has needed as it’s got a great veg, meat and cheese selection.

Unless wheelchair parking in right in front of electrical substation. If you want get out or in the car one cannot if another car is parked on the right side and pillar is also an obstruction. Badly laid out not practical.

Prices on shelves and at the till always incorrect. Brought it to manager Jakes attention, he has a don't care attitude, he could not care but pack the sweet shelves. Staff was more professional than him.

Convenient, but parking a problem until the garage is completed. Bright, clean store, easy to find what you need. Friendly, efficient staff and good security. Well done to all. I'm going to be a regular.

Very rude and unfriendly staff, I asked them a question they didn’t bother looking on the shelf and said whatever is on the shelf , then I looked and found it. They don’t bother assisting customers

It's a new store that looks fresh; whenever I go there; they don't have what I'm looking for. Perhaps its Murphy's but the service I've recieved from the staff has not been welcoming or friendly.

The venue smelled awful...like rotten eggs...the staff were not friendly or helpful...even the cashier had attitude. The fruit on shelf was rotten...and disgusting Will not go there again.

Brilliant place to shop. Very helpful. I left a large pack of toilet roll at the shop . I went back the next day and they remembered me and had kept them safe. Great staff. Nice and clean shop.

Fruit and veg not always fresh. Meat is very limited and not always fresh. Queues at cashiers can be unnecessarily long. Weighing fruit and veg can be confusing. Parking is a struggle.

It is very conveniently situated. You can have lunch on Florida and still get to pick up some household items on your way home. There are barely any queues and the staff is friendly.

Absolutely fabulous staff, so friendly and approachable. Food is a little more costly but of value when considering the quality standards. Our go to place for home meals too.

Went on the first day of opening. Decided to stop and get some hotdogs rolls. The rolls were really not up to standard. A bit over baked. Overall lovely small store.

Store does not have many items as options, some specials don't apply to this store. Items did seem expensive in comparison to other smaller stores.
