I have gotten a deep cleaning, 3 wisdom teeth pulled, and am about 3 months into SureSmile. Then I had my 3 wisdom teeth removed, all on the same day at my request. Everything seemed to go well aside from them forgetting to prescribe me antibiotics, which they later realized their huge mistake a prescribed it to me after I came back in with concerns. It was upsetting they made such a huge error and risked me getting an infection, but in the end, nothing happened so I told myself there's nothing to be upset about. For my SureSmile, I have had 3 appointments for it, every single one of them rescheduled a week before appointment, even though I had these appointments about a month in advance. After the first one, I was upset because it wreaked havoc on my schedule, but you know, it happens, could happen to anyone, so I rescheduled. Second time, it got on my nerves, I was starting to feel like my appointments and I should be taken more seriously considering I've spent several thousands in less than half a year here and I've been more than patient so far. Unlucky. Today, I get the call on my third appointment in a row needing to be rescheduled. This time I have to tell my group I won't be going camping with them. Edit: They have since addressed this issue and let me know they have put systems into place to prevent any one person from getting rescheduled over and over. It is good to see a business take criticism and improve. Despite the prescription and scheduling issues, the treatment you receive is very good, as all the other reviews say. I feel secure about treatments and procedures when I am in the office. If there are any issues, management is open to being contacted, I realize that now.

I really recommend "Pilsen Smiles" it's the best dentist to go to. It's rated "4.8" which is so cool because I always look for good reviews from places before going to them. The whole staff from the receptionist, to the assistants , to Dr. Ochoa are so amazing, they do an awesome job everytime I go. They even send messages and emails on your phone about reminders about your appointments , and also instructions about what to do after your surgerys, dental work , antibiotics you need to take and how you need to take them, etc ,which is so so awesome and very helpful. They are very professional, very honest, very respectful, very friendly, very helpful. They welcome you and make you feel very comfortable, Any questions that you might have or concerns you have they are always happy to help you and answer your questions. The whole place and the rooms are always really really clean which is also awesome. The rooms even have tv's and the assistants even ask you if you want to watch anything on Netflix while you wait in the room to see Dr. Ochoa "So awesome" I never been to a dentist before where you get treated so awesome like this until I started coming to "Pilsen Smiles" so if you are looking for a really good dentist thats really clean and with a really amazing awesome staff look no further because "Pilsen Smiles" is the best place to go to honestly, Trust me you will be happy you came here and you will also leave happy.

I went in for a root canal. The specialist failed to find one of the roots, overfilled another root which poked a hole into my sinus, and drilled into the middle of the tooth and didn't patch it well and cause infection in the area. I went through root canal retreatment, extraction and implant to fix the mistakes they made on my tooth which was a lengthen, stressful and painful process. They had agreed to pay for the following treatment and cover most the cost for the implant crown. When it's finally time for the implant crown and I called to make an appointment, they told me that the business office manager I spoke with at the time is no longer with them so they are not going to honor the agreement. I need to pay fully out of pocket for the crown. What a great way to manage their business to throw people no longer there under the bus and walk away like they have done nothing wrong.

This was my first experience at Pilsen Smiles, and I was impressed! I hadn't been to the dentist in years, and I felt cared for throughout the entire process from booking to leaving with my adorable complimentary welcome mug + goodies. They were completely transparent about insurance coverage, cost, and payment throughout the whole visit, so that anxiety was relieved. I needed to get a tooth gem removed, and they were completely knowledgeable of that service, yet supportive of my remaining teeth jewelry. My visit was made exceptionally comfortable with the aroma therapy and Netflix, and the staff was beyond friendly. I left knowing what oral care I received, why I needed to receive it, and what I need to do to maintain a healthy mouth. Hi. I have been a patient at Pilsen Smiles since December 2019. The people there are very kind and professional. Every time I go for my regular cleaning service, staff welcomes me and treat me with respect. I also feel safe knowing they always take a good care of me and my teeth. I also love they have a membership program for those like who do not have dental insurance which have been so helpful for me. I had an incredible first-time visit to Pilsen Smiles. I frequently move and have been to several dentists (both in Chicago and around the country). This was, BY FAR, the best visit to any dentist I've ever had. Everyone was incredibly friendly and cheerful. My dental hygienist went out of her way to make me a hand-written list of all the best places to try out in Pilsen (I'm new to the neighborhood). Everyone who interacted with me/my teeth was comprehensive and genuinely cared about me and my dental health. I needed to get prescription fluoride toothpaste, and I could even get that at the office (rather than going to a pharmacy). I left with a clean smile and a coffee mug as a thank you! How sweet! I highly recommend the ladies at Pilsen Smiles!

My first visit to Pilsen Smiles was perfect. Everyone was so nice and professional. They were knowledgeable and explained every step of the way. The place is very clean and modern. The staff work together very smoothly and seem to help one another out really well. Blanca, Marilu, and Christy are really great dental hygienists. Dr. Brittany — amazing. She’s very enthusiastic and to put it simply, knows her stuff. The reception staff from start to finish: 10 out of 10! I am sure that I interacted with other staff members whose name I cannot remember, but rest assured, I was in excellent hands today. The dentist is not something most people look forward to. I recently started going to Pilsen Smiles on a recommendation. It's conveniently located and has a great team. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and professional. I ask lots of questions and Dr. Ochoa is always happy to answer them. They also text and email which is super helpful since I can't always pick up calls. It's great to see a dentist office keeping up with technology - every room even has options for Netflix, music, headphones and a blanket! I also got follow up call and email after my visit when I got work done on my teeth. I thought that was really nice and definitely encouraged me to want to go back. I highly recommend Pilsen Smiles, they are modern, professional, and considerate!

Let me tell you all, I hate going to the dentist. I’m embarrassed at how long I had gone between appointments, but I knew that I didn’t feel comfortable at the dentist I was going to. I know Dr. Ochoa from college and knew she had opened up Pilsen Smiles and I had to go. And I’m so glad I did. She and her staff are amazing. I feel like I’m among friends when I go in. I’m comfortable with being honest and they make sure I understand what my dental plan and treatments are going to be. I don’t live anywhere near Pilsen, but Pilsen Smiles is so worth the trip for me! Dr. Ochoa is the best dentist I have ever had. She is very personable and knowledgeable. She will not jump at the opportunity to place a filling, but make a note in your chart to watch that tooth and provide tips to avoid further decay. Pilsen Smiles offers noise cancelling headphones with Netflix and the scent of lavender to ease the stress and anxiety that may accompany a dental visit. The Pilsen Smiles staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is always a pleasure to speak with them. The dental hygienists provide great tips on dental care. My husband and I will recommend Pilsen Smiles any chance we get.

This would be my new dentistry! This place is clean, spacious, and very welcoming. You can watch your fav show while having your work done. The Drs are very patient and they listen to what you say before, during, and after the operations. There is no parking on the site, but there is plenty of on-street free parking nearby. The schedule for me was pretty fast, the first schedule was in a week available and I booked the follow up schedule on the next day! They have many Drs which makes the reservations and schedules more available than other locations. I strongly suggest them!

Pilsen Smiles is the best! Have been going for about a year and every time is pleasant. Nothing to dislike. Dr Llamozas and Dr Ochoa are both very personable and friendly, making you feel right at home --despite having a hand in your mouth. The office looks great and every patient room has a little TV that's playing something to distract you if you need. All the other staff members are helpful and knowledgeable as well. Lastly, they stay busy, but will call you an offer up earlier slots if they have a cancellation, which can help get you in sooner! Will recommend!!

Great dental office and always supportive to clients and people! I walked into my appointment today and expressed that I was on a time crunch, only having an hour, due to my work schedule. After apologetically expressing my concern for time, the staff worked quickly and accurately! They completed my cleaning, x-rays, and polishing within the hour! They didn't rush, but they were able to move quickly & efficiently! I was truly impressed with the outstanding customer service and timely support. Best dental office in the city!

I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the staff at Pilsen Smiles. From the humans in the front office to the one’s as your leaving, to the talented one’s throughout the appointment, I was deeply in awe. The attentiveness alone was a 5 star. Highly recommend the dental assistant, Paloma, as she was so kind and patient. Maria, the dental hygienist, as she explained everything well and cleaned me up so gently, and Dr. Grajaies, very intuitive and also explained things well.

Look no further, Dr. Elisa Ochoa and her team are top notch! The office is very clean and newly remodeled. My insurance was set to expire in 2 weeks, and the incredible staff worked with me to get me in quickly for a cleaning, a few fillings, and even a root canal. I felt very safe with the office's COVID protocols, received a through exam with digital x-rays, and the hint of lavender on bib was a nice touch to help me relax. Dr. Ochoa's office is very professional, upbeat and honest.

My wife and I have been a patient since the business opened. We love Dr. Ochoa as well as every other dentist and staff that work there. For years I thought I was doing a great job daily but they made me realize I was wrong and followed up with me constantly about my oral health. I’ve taken their advice and have improved. Been going here for a few years, always had great experiences. Dentists are always personal, make you feel comfortable, and do a great job. They also listen to personal request like making sure you are extra numb for any dental surgery, a problem I've had at other dentists. Highly recommend.
