We came because the doughnuts looked cool BUT came out without any and very disappointed! For anyone with allergies I do not recommend this place. While informing the staff behind the counter we had nuts allergies she said "well as you can see, all of our NON-NUT options (there were 2) are surrounded by nuts. I can use different tongs if you want?" Sorry. That's ridiculous. Just say "no you can't have it". The nuts were not only within the pastry but used as Hamish which meant that they could easily drop off onto any foods. I don't think they realise that could kill someone. When I recommended to separate the non-Nut Options from the Nut options I was met with a blank stare. Needless to say we were upset and disappointed. Not worth the hype. Or price. At least at Krispy Kreme they make an effort to separate their doughnuts and also have allergens listed. That's where we went instead

We came in here by chance as there were no indoor seats at a rival coffee shop on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. I'm so glad we came in. The chai latte (with oat milk) felt like Christmas in a mug, the way a good chai should be. I had a slice of the carrot cake (which was huge, definitely could have shared- except I never share carrot cake) and my friend had a brownie which looked lush too. Both left feeling full and that we lucked out that the other shop was full. We will be back for definite. Seating was long communal tables which felt like maybe there should be a few dividers but all in all was a great experience and would highly recommend! (As the slightly blurry picture shows I was too keen to start eating the carrot cake to worry about being in focus )

Lovely cafe serving a range of sweet and savoury delights. The doughnuts were the best items we ordered, I loved the honeycomb flavour. So fluffy and stuffed generously with cream, but it wasn’t overly sweet which is perfect. The coffee was nice too, as was the coffee and walnut cake. The tuna focaccia tasted ok, but unfortunately was extremely dry and chewy making it hard to eat. The cafe was extremely busy when we went and staff seemed a little overwhelmed behind the counter. You are encouraged to order at the table via QR codes, after which service took a little while due to the number of people. This aside, I would still like to return again in the future to try some of their other doughnut flavours, as they alone deserve 5 stars!

I highly recommend you give this place a go! SO good. They’ve got measures in place to keep customers and staff safe (all of whom were wearing masks). The staff member we met was lovely and my husband and I were absolutely amazed with our orders both times. Hubby’s favorite was the almond croissant and mine was the cinnamon roll. We both thoroughly enjoyed their doughnuts, they were beautifully balanced and not overly sweet. The Strawberries and cream doughnut is a must try! Wish they had a few more options for the doughnuts as well as vegetarian breakfast sandwiches. My husband had the vegan focaccia and although he said it was good he would’ve preferred a vegetarian option that used normal cheese.

Simply Amazing How lovely it is to go somewhere that doesn't fly all the bells and whistles to advertise themselves and their food because it stands on its own as just fantastic. Fresh, clean, tasty, superbly presented and great value for money. The only problem you will have is trying to decide what you want. Do not make the error of thinking doughnuts are doughnuts! Those well known so called glazed doughnut specialists that bake weeks ago have nothing on the doughnuts you can try at Pinkmens. Not a great deal more I can say other than you would be mad not to visit.............REGULARLY!!!

Pinkman's cafe has a wide array of savoury and sweet pastries to sample. We tried several of their sliders with the BLT mini being my favourite (my companion highly rated the egg salad too). The cinnamon bun was delicious and huge! I ordered smashed avocado with a chilli sauce on the sourdough bread but didn't really enjoy it - something about the tang of it didn't taste right so I'd say to give this a miss. I also tried their signature sourdough-nut but perhaps left it sitting for too long as the filling was quite soggy. Definitely visit here for the laid-back decor and pastries!

Read great things about this bakery, so had to pay a visit. It was so busy the first time I visited there was nowhere to sit. The second time I was a bit early and they said they couldn't do a pizza because it wasn't 12 yet, it was around 11.20am. The third time I went early to get a chocolate filled Donut and honestly wasn't bowled over by it. The chocolate filling was like a cheap mousse, I can't comment on any other food as I didn't get any. But it was extremely popular. So worth a visit if you can get a table.

The most amazing tasting and aesthetically pleasing doughnuts I've ever seen/ tasted. They're a little overpriced and I wouldn't have them regularly but, as a bonus treat once in a while, I highly recommend them. I always recommend getting them fresh from the store - occasionally you'll see them at little food market stalls and they're just not the same. They do a lot of savoury stuff, but their doughnuts is where the real treat is. They're not all nut-free, so definitely check any allergies before buying.

Delicious food and surprisingly varied menu. Nice selection of mains for a place that bills itself as a bakery. Pizza went way beyond my expectations, with perhaps unsurprisingly good crust and tasty and fresh ingredients. Maybe best of all the pizza was not too greasy and did not feel too over-indulgent. Would definitely get pizza from there again. Have also had breakfast and bread from there and was not disappointed! Service could be a bit better but otherwise great spot for a bite on park street.

I got the almond croissant and the chocolate walnut donut (recommended by the staff member), and i was delighted by both!! My favorite thing was that the sugar wasn’t overpowering, so you could definitely feel the wonderful taste of the roasted almonds (almond croissant) and of the chocolate walnut filling, which was incredible smooth with a mousse texture (donut). Customer service was great! Will definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back and try the chocolate brownie.

Excellent food! I went in at around 2pm and the service was really quick and the staff were really friendly. I had the vegan artichoke pizza, which was absolutely delicious the cheese was fantastic. And the vegan matcha and blueberry sour doughnut which was also delicious! It had a really laid back atmosphere, however I went in with my 18 month old sister and I wouldn't recommend for a child as it's quite tight in there. I'll definitely be going again ☺

Very good bakery, they serve the famous sour doughnuts, bread, brownies, pastries, cakes, muffins, coffee, etc. It's located on a steep road so bear this in mind, it's quite large inside so you should be able to find a seat. The sour doughnuts are superb I have to say, the cream filling is really light, not too sweet. Coffee is good but not excellent, the iced lattes are good but flat whites are OK for me. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing! Cannot recall when I had better breakfast! A pity I do not have more than one belly to try all the goodies as a lot of things looked very, very tempting. My man swooned over soudough ham and cheese sandwich. I had an outstanding Custard dipped brioche with blueberry compote and we also tried some sort of a cinnamon dipped twizzler. Wow! And the coffee was pretty good too. Lovely vibe altogether!

Sadly somewhat underwhelmed! Much like modern supermarkets, this place seems to have largely dispensed with human interaction in favour of QR codes… The online menu was fine, but most things sold out, which was a lot more stressful than being able to look at a lovely counter full of baked goods and talk to staff. It’s a really nice space, prime location, but a disappointing experience to be honest!

  • Callum Gillon

Food is delicious here, the chorizo shaksuka was mega tasty and super filling . Bread doesn't dissapoint! Espresso was decent as well! Only reason they loose a star as it is pretty pricey! I wanted a donought as they are obviously incredible but with breakfast and coffee would of been close to £20?! Saying this though I find there salad plates very reasonable. Would return :)

  • Amelia Edwards

Great fresh bakery and their signature donuts are tasty, great fruit or flavoured cream filling. It's a must for anyone visiting Bristol! Upstairs seating at the back, they've changed the ordering policy so you grab a seat first and order by scanning QR code. Saves hassle of ordering without a table (during busy times this is helpful), and leaves others to order and go.

Visited Pinkmans for the first time and we have to say it was undoubtedly the best breakfast we’ve had in a while! The food arrived in 10 minutes and everything was fresh and delicious. The portions are generous and the staff are very attending. The coffee is also very nice, the caramel latte was exceptional. Will definitely be returning for breakfast here again soon!

  • Michalis Krasides

Really cozy and uplifting cafe! There is a plethora of choices from sweet and savory deserts to sandwiches and pizzas! Coffee was good and realistic prices - cappuccino/late costs around £2.80. If you are looking for a place to catch up with friends or a stop over for coffee and desert than the Pinkmans Bakery will not disappoint!

  • Vincent Roman

Drove all the way from London for a visit to the M-Shed but decided to stop here first for breakfast and was not disappointed. Coated in butter, the pastries and the toasties were wonderful and the coffee was pretty tasty too. When i next end up in Bristol I will no doubt drop by again. Lots of space and good inhouse facilities.

  • David Beesley

I ordered a large carrot cake as a birthday cake and oh my goodness.....it looked stunning and was absolutely delicious! The service from Sara behind the counter was exceptional and they turned around the order at last minute with no problems at all. Highly recommend the bakery and top marks to the staff. Thank you

  • Cai Lam Cheung

The blueberry donut I tried was so good I went back to try the raspberry and white chocolate flavour! Blueberry was the winner. The ham with pesto focaccia and coronation chicken sandwich was yummy and fresh. Currently only open for takeaway on weekdays but dine in is available on the weekends for brunch.

  • Simona Melchionda

I've been in there for the first time.. I've ordered a croissant (cold), a bacon and eggs toast(without bacon as in the photo) 2 coffee no comment and a bacon toast(only one to take away).. we waited 40 minutes for the toast, cause they understood both toast were take away.. very disappointed..

If you're a fan of sweet treats, then Pinkmans Bakery is a must-visit spot in Bristol. Their honeycomb donuts are the stuff of legends - perfectly fluffy and sweet, with just the right amount of crunch from the honeycomb. It's easy to see why they're considered some of the best donuts around.

  • Fiona Dos Santos

A friend recommended I come here if I wanted a big coffee and a pastry - she was right to do so. The treats look so inviting I ordered 2 without shame and loved every bite. The coffee was smooth and a good size. The atmosphere is nice for being social or doing work. Glad I ended up here

Was starving this afternoon after a lot of shopping at CASS Art. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I ordered their roast beef panini sandwich with freshly squeezed orange juice. Food was delicious. Somewhat pricey though but worth it when you have fresh food that is is so tasty!!

  • Perdita Andrew

Lovely light and spacious atmosphere with plants and modern decor. Food was really good value and the staff were attentive and friendly. Quite busy on Sunday morning but that's to be expected in Bristol! Food came very quickly and was delicious, and the coffee was very nice.

  • Michaela Cottage

These delicious donuts arrived today at our work! We were so excited to receive them and eat them, they all tasted absolutely amazing! Pinkmans Bakery went above and beyond with their customer service - we really cannot rate them enough! Thank you again for everything :) xxx

  • Brian Maguire

Not impressed with the breakfast. Looked the part but the chorizo was overpowering and slightly undercooked, poach eggs also undercooked. The avocado was heavily spiced and the sourdough was virtually tasteless. Was expecting much better given the above average reviews.

  • A A

Doughnut was good, but their almond croissant and sausage roll are quite stale although I am there quite early in the morning. Read reviews about their cakes are better than pastries. Very slow service. If you are in Bristol, still worth dropping by for a quick bite.

  • Shveta N

Lovely flatbread. Impressive. Salad as main was ..0. Oh! Too many potatoes and really hard. What a waste of money. Could have enjoyed another flatbread instead...I regretted it so much as I insisted to add salad for our lunch...bad decision. Coffee was lovely!

  • Phy Phy

Doughnut is their signature item but not the outstanding level, costs from 3.50£ to £4.0, taste average and the texture is not puffy. The carrot cake is so so. Coffee is very basic, very plain. Expensive! There’s many other good cafe in Bristol. Overpriced.

  • Jennifer Chan

Liked the concept and the decor, it has a great feel. I had an iced coffee, which was fine and a chocolate filled doughnut, which was good. Not too family/baby friendly as the tables are really high but a nice place for a catch-up with friends etc

  • Dessi Veltcheva

Amazing pastries and doughnut we got from too good to go today! Vegan sandwich was incredible and the famous doughnuts have this lovely softness to it with incredible chocolate moose! Would love to come back to enjoy the sit down bakery soon!!

  • tiki taka

Unreal, fantastic, boombastic place with the best toast sandwich ever. Or the best sandwich ever. Crispy from the outside, costed with the cheese that have integrated in the dough...inside juicy with full flavor. The best way to start a day

  • Thomas Norris

Got a collection of the donuts and boy they are tasty! Not heavy like major brand donut shops. Pineapple and coconut one was best of the lot! Will be trying every seasonal one for sure Adding in the grilled cheese, cheese coma right there

  • Josh Tibbetts

Amazing bakery and cafe! Personally I love getting the salad box but their pizzas are also brilliant. But the best thing about Pinkmans is the sourdoughnuts - simply incredible and you have to try the honeycomb one (if you only get one!)

  • Amina Hakkim

I visited this place on a trip to Bristol. The drinks were good however the staff was really rude. We ordered in a sandwich and it contained ham in it despite not mentioning it on the ingredients, the response was that we should have

  • Dana v. Vueren

Seriously one of the best bakeries in England. Food is fresh, varied and absolutely delicious. You have to try the carrot cake... and you can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. The place itself is also beautiful and inviting.

  • Huize Jansenbuur

I got here a croissant to go. It didn’t look like the ones we are used to, from the Netherlands or from France (the shape was different) but they tasted quite good. Place looked good and staff were friendly.

  • 洪儀庭

A nice bakery with cozy places. Pain au chocolate is definitely a must order for anyone who loves black chocolate, and it tastes not too sweet. Sour dough bread and doughnuts are doughy and tasted.

  • Dree Chua

Amazing brunch! I got the vegan baker’s breakfast from their veganuary menu options. It was very delicious. The oat flat white was great too. Definitely a good cafe to study at for students!

  • Cathy Song

sourdoughnut is satisfying. Recommend the raspberry really perfect place for quick lunch and so great the sandwiches! Service is great too Decent salad plate but maybe too much carbohydrates

  • Vicky

My favourite bakery in Bristol with amazing sandwiches, pastries, doughnuts and very good coffee. Huge portions, friendly staff and a good amount of buzz. The "sourdhoughnut" is a must try!

  • Heidi

We tried the beacon bap and this sourdough toast last time, which is so yummy that the bread is soft and crunchy. The flat white and latte are also with great aroma and rich nutty flavour!

  • Peter Kaela

A great espresso, Crossiant & service as always, impressed that they had Vegan (Sourdough) Doughnuts - however they were marked as limited edition so check with them if you're going!

  • Lucie Lucie

Everything looks and tastes amazing ( haven't tried any drinks though) it is bit expensive in my opinion but still worth the money. Nice staff and cool environment

  • yingxin ye

Doughnut with full stuffing is very tasty. The skin of doughnut is very thin, when I opened the box after going home, it is broken and stuffing flows outside...

  • Francesca Cecinati

Amazing salad with sourdough bread. Abundant, tasty, great ingredients and very reasonable price. Friendly staff, no waiting time and pretty location. Perfect

  • Monika Brzozka

The food was really good. They forgot one order, which to our order in addition they gave us anything we wanted from the bakery section.

  • Lydia Rubio Rubia

Great place to go for breakfast. Everything I had was awesome. Great coffee, great avo toast and great bakes! Totally recommended.

  • Gábor Varga

I love this place! The donut is amazing, but the sandwiches also. The best place to have a delicious breakfast in Bristol!

  • Tyler Peck

Amazing doughnuts, but the sandwiches are really lacking a good amount of filling. Unfortunately overpriced.

  • Christopher Kitsos

The best bakery in Bristol and surely one of the best in UK. The croissant is the best that I’ve ever tried

  • Kwang Sujinno

Didn‘t mean to stop here, but didn‘t disappointed at all! Perfect chai latte and delicious cheese sandwich.
