My experience as a former employee at 1520 N. 43rd Ave Phoenix, Arizona 85009 is awful place to work at during the night shift under the management of two females employees that in my experience with them was extremely awful but yet a very eye opening experience with them because one of the two is extremely rude and doesn't know how to communicate with anyone except for the other female night manager. She has been informed by upper management that she is not allowed to be on her phone watching sitcoms and shows on her phone however she doesn't care what whether upper management states anything to her or not she will do whatever she wants regardless of any consequences that may come her way. My advice is that if you are seeking employment here it is a rather awful experience to work under these two females managers period so don't waste your time trying to work here because you will experience displeasurable repercussions by them and they will get you terminated if they do NOT like you cause I found out the hard way by being employed there. Any person that is working with these two females managers are all THC users and do hand out free food to their friends and family. The night shift manager is getting ready to go into the Marines in August however the way she handles any type of situation is unbelievable because I at one time had to step up and help her and the shift leader manager defuse an enraged customer for both of them have trouble learning how to defuse any type of customer who is enraged. The night shift leader is very rude and when approached by another employee to ask a question he was told by her "don't bother me and to go ask the night manager that's on duty this comment that was made by her is very rude and extremely unprofessional in any place of management. Thank you all and pay very close attention to the two females that are in a position of management because one of them is extremely very rude and doesn't know how to communicate with anyone except for the night manager.

The Pizza Hut Dine-In experience has fallen. Used to be a pizza standard to dine in but I guess competition has them cutting back. Was happy to see the plastic red cups still though. The food was tasty fresh and hot even though we had ordered wings thinking we were getting bone-in wings but ended up with boneless ones. Didn't think to say bone-in but wasn't asked either. They actually were pretty good even if they weren't what we were expecting. The pizza was exactly what we ordered and was tasty but it was odd, we got 1 set of small appetizer plates when the wings came out and no other plates for the pizza. ‍♀️ We're adults and were able to just use the same bbq covered plate but it's just strange not to get a new plate with a pizza brought to the table. Had to go up and ask for a box and a couple times the phone seemed to ring long without being answered. It seemed steady but not slammed at this point of the night. Unsure if it was a staffing issue or a motivation issue. ‍♀️ I understand this kind of lack of enthusiasm for diners for Express locations and curbside ones where it's not even an option but a dine-in experience is...well, a dine-in expectation. If this location doesn't want to entertain then the dining room probably should be closed off to the experience ‍♀️ It very well could be a reason why the dining room was totally empty when we arrived, that people have caught on to this lackluster display. It's too bad. We had come here hoping to remember times coming to a Pizza Hut as kids. It's just not the same anymore - or maybe it's just this location. Maybe it will improve with time, attention, or motivation. I still love ya, PH restaurant chain, just not really this one.

I ordered my pizza special as I always do ,when I called I had a conversation about a special that was going on, I saw it on cable and it had to do with getting medium pizzas with 2 items for $5.99 , Come on now who doesn't like a special,as soon as I mentioned it the man became almost irate with his blah blah blah blah, Made me feel some type of way did not appreciate it let me tell you, Well long story short I got to pick my pizza up and when I did I had to use the restroom and needed to have somebody open the door for me because I stood there for 3 minutes trying to unlock the door and then the lady said to me that works there of course O you need help? We've been having problems with the door well if you are aware of it then why don't you fix it? I was charged 3 times and the 3 times I said I want to see the pizza first when I saw the pizza it was dried up and burnt !!I'm not paying for that I don't want it thank you, and I left and while we were waiting for the pizza I saw this grubby looking guy with half of his frizzy hair out of a ponytail tweaking as hard as you could if you were to tweak!! that was a turn off right there he was grinding his teeth and he looked like he'd stuck his wet fingers in an electrical socket! This Pizza Hut had some kind of smell to it that was not gratifying , And everybody just looked blah, The energy in that place was totally off I will not go there again and it is a shame it used to be my favorite place it's so ghetto, 43rd Avenue and I 10

If you have fallen on hard times and are in a motel, DO NOT order from Pizza Hut. If you get an incorrect order or simply didn't receive, I was told my management, Jen, at the store at 1520 N 43rd Ave that if the delivery address was a motel, corporate policy says they WILL NOT make it right. No Exceptions. So even after explaining this woman's extensive medical issues and now homelessness due to COVID, they chose to discriminate because she has to live in a motel!!! I explained to her that I am trying to assist a very sick woman with a catheter and is septic (extremely serious)to get a meal. It's only her and her son. I also explained to her that I was just discharged from the hospital myself and I am homebound.. I found out about the situation by a weird circumstance and really wanted to help. Jen said under NO circumstances will they help!!!! Although we asked for contactless delivery due to this woman's fragile state, the driver refused to bring to her door OR to the office and forced this poor woman to go downstairs, in the parking lot and search for this young, healthy driver only to be handed a cold, sloppy pizza!Pizza! only has this location lost my business, PIZZA HUT has lost my business forever. (I didn't even include the part where I had to call after I had ordered and was told, "I can't help you right now because I am in the middle of something else." DISGUSTING!

Pretty annoyed with the order I placed today. I didn't have to wait long to get a notification that my order was being delivered, but 30 minutes went by after receiving the text notification that it was on the way so I called the store since it's only 1.8 miles from my house. Lou said there was one delivery in front of mine so I would have to wait. Another 30 minutes go by, I still hadn't received my order so I call them back and spoke with Lou again. He claimed the delivery driver delivered my order, when I told him I didn't receive anything, he had me speak with the delivery driver. She was sounding annoyed with me and read back my address to me maybe 4-5 times claiming she delivered it there. She then repeated back the full address with the street and turns out it was delivered to the wrong address. She didn't even apologize for the mistake and offered a refund which doesn't make sense because I was still hungry with no car or they could remake it and I would have to wait another hour. Couldn't offer to expedite my order for their mistake or even refund me my driver's tip. They also couldn't even discount my order or offer to give credit for my next order. Probably won't be ordering here again anyways since this is not the first time I've waited almost 2 hours for a delivery from here.

Went here with my 2 daughters and my son. We sat down and did not even get acknowledged for about 10 minutes. I got up wwnt to thw counter and asked if anyone was attending the dining room. She said she would get someone then comes to the table with an attitude and asks what we wanted to drink and hands me a menu. Then rudely asks if i want to order. I told her no that I was not ready. She comes back brings our drinks and takes my order. While we were eating she did not even bother to come around to see if we needed anything which we all needed refills on our drinks. We got tired of waiting for refills so we just asked for a box at the counter and left. I paid with debit at the counter after having asked for my receipt. In the tip section i scribbled it out and just marked nothing. As i did she then makes a snotty ass sound under her breath when i handed it to her after ceossing out any tip. I will never return her or order from this location again. Horrible service maybe they should pay more attention to customers instead of being on their cell phones.

If there’s a way for me not to give a star, I would. This Pizza Hut customer service is far beyond awful! I called four times to place an order, and every time I called, I was ask to hold which is not a problem. However, being forgotten is an issue. I have hung up on three times after being asked to hold for the total of 30 minutes each call. On the fourth time I called, I asked for the manager. She was extremely rude! She asked if I can call at another time since they were busy and short staffed. I declined her offer and explained to her that I have been trying to place an order for the past 30 minutes. Now I’ve worked in a fast food setting before and I understand how hectic it can get being short staffed; conversely, taking your frustration out on the customer is beyond disrespectful especially if you are in a leadership position. As of result of how I was treated, my family and I will never spend our hard working money at this establishment!

Terrible. I order a large pepperoni pizza for delivery. I received two medium pizzas. When I told the driver, I ordered a large he said "oh they ran out, so they got this two instead". I said fine. Took the pizza. He left. I opened the box and the pizza was so fried and over-heated. It was toasted. I was busy so I didnt have time to go return it. The other box was fine. I think that they had a leftover pizza from a cancelled order and they just put it back in the oven to warm it up and made another medium pizza. Because they sent the notice that it was out for delivery like 10 minutes after I placed the order. It was fast but terrible. They used to be my favorite. I won't buy from Pizza Hut again. This was part of an assignment for college and I wrote a posting about my experience in class. I do online school so many people across the US heard my story of bad service if that matters any to Pizza Hut.

I am saddened by this rating, because I love pizza hut. I've tried for 2 days to get delivery, and just found out a few minutes ago that the location that services my area is closed for maintenance? They should update Google, and state that. It says "open " and did last night as well. I called another location last night, they didn't know apparently that the store was having maintenance, and told me to call them. Today I was given a different location to call, but they didn't answer. I just placed a $53.00 order with papa johns...... Yeah, not a huge order, but its $53.00 that pizza hut isn't getting. If you don't want my business, just tell me. Don't give me the runaround. Im not in the position to do carryout, I drive a tractor trailer combination. Delivery is my only option, and I've been trying to get something since last night. Looks like papa johns is my new option for getting fed.

Give me my order! I placed my order online for carryout while my order was ready at 1215 for pickup I did not make it there untill 12:40 which I thought would be no issue seeing drive thru closes at 1am I arrived for pickup and although seen upon arrival was ignored untill ten minutes later after having to honk numerois times a man came to the window and tried to shoo me away I flashed my phone to show I was picking up online order and then encountered a very ride and aggressive attitude stating he called me three times ( which I had zero missed calls) and that he has since closed down his register, I then stated what does that matter in me recieving my food that was already paid for seeing they were still within open hours and he stayed it had already been refunded which as of this morning is not reflected within my account. Absolutely ridiculous and will be disputing charge

After the experience we had with the manager we will not be returning to that location or any other one. There was an error in our order which may of been our fault when it was ordered on line through the app. He refused to even discuss it or offer any option other then paying for another order. As many times we have ordered and used your stores it was very disturbing that the gentleman could not offer us even a discount on a new pizza since it was paid for through the app. $30 seems to be a very low price to pay when it means you lose a customer and whoever they may choose to share their experience with. I would hope that in the future your company will either provide better training or at the least find individuals that has the common since in how to provide customer service.

Bought 3 large 3 topping pizzas with extra cheese when I arrived to this location. Didn't mind the wait as I understand making a pizza to order is not something that's standing by, however when the pizzas came up the guy at the counter opened the first box only slightly to show me the condition of the pizza. He did it so fast I didn't pay attention and when I got back to my 10 man crew we realized the pizzas were all missing the extra cheese and only had 2 toppings. Much respect for Pizza Hut as they do have delicious pizzas but not getting an order correct just because you happen to be busy is not an excuse. Especially when we are willing to wait for them. We still ate them and I never called but figured it will be worth a comment so that others don't go through this.

These guys charged my card 60$ and called me back saying "they could not deliver my food" even though they had delivered to me in the near past. they also said " your refund will be back on your card in 35min" the manager Jason assured me. Well Jason after refusing to help me you also lied to me , its been 2 days still have not seen a refund. What happens to the people that just have enough money to eat out the one time a week. Their whole family is supposed to hold until your ready to give them a refund?? fortunately that was not the case. Very rude, Jason you should not be a manager, your probably just a shift leader. Just so you know im not lying i have had delivery in the past see the photo below.

1st thing they deliver my order to the wrong address and 1 hr and 40 mins later when I call everyone there has a trash attitude as if I've been Makin them wait 2 hrs for 2 pizzas less than 2 miles away and then raise their voice while explaining to them I've never received anything and while trying to make me look dumb telling me that there's a car I don't own in the driveway of the house they delivered to and then in the same sentence admit to the wrong address if you can't be professional while people are trying to explain you messed up quit you trash human being go work in somethin that doesn't involve people especially when your in the wrong smh who manages this place??

Due to “security reasons”, they do not deliver to certain area businesses. Does their website or app reflect such information? NO! Over an hour and 15 minutes, no updates or information. Call the location and got the obligatory “We attempted to call you...” which was complete bull, as my mobile was on hand and nothing in call or message logs. And the kicker of it all? Charged for the complete delivery. Call back to request it be immediately addressed as “no services, no food, no charges”. Their response? A refund will be submitted/returned in 5 business days. Great doing business with you! Never again.

The young kids in this place do not listen or pay attention to the customers needs! I am not understanding how any of them are employed at the store. They get my order wrong every single time and I wait for over 25 minutes at times which can be very ridiculous especially when I see children standing at the counter waiting for a bathroom key or to ask for another paper plate or maybe napkins. I have watched adults stand at the counter and wait for someone to help them also. But the young kids are too busy horse playing around and joking and flirting in the back to notice the customers in the store

Very disappointed! Had a great experience from my last order soo decided to order from them again... This time around I ordered from them at 2:55pm confirmation said it would take about 40-50 min get a call around 4:13 asking if I had received my order told them no lady on the phone said they would find my pizza and get someone to deliver right away ....called again at 4:49 asked for order status, the men I spoke to said he had just requested the pizza to be made and would be free of charge... 5:50pm and I'm still waiting on it. Taking my money else where ✌

Not sure what's been going on but my boyfriend and I eat from this Pizza Hut regularly and our last two orders have been dreadful. One order took an extra 30 minutes to be ready, a total of 55 minutes just for 24 wings. The next order took about an hour to he delivered, which we ended up being okay with because the delivery girl was really nice, but then we realized we didn't get what we wanted. There were toppings on there that we didn't ask for. We really love Pizza Hut but they've got to get it together.

First time ordering, ordered around 2240, recieved a call shortly after saying they could not fulfill my order because they only have one driver, and since the store closes at midnight and the driver would be out after midnight to deliver my order they had to cancel my order even though i had no problem waiting. This is the biggest bull ive ever heard, i ran a pizza store and we took orders tillclose ifour drivers were out delivering after close we did it because we believed in taking care of our customers.

I placed an order online carry out. The employees were fine the pizza was good. What I am going to complain about its Pizza hut itself. I got a pizza and wings for $20.61 and I was shocked to find out that now they charge for crushed peppers and parmesan cheese. Like wow!!! I wonder if next time I order from Pizza hut they're going to start charging for the box that the pizza comes in. This is ridiculous. I'm honestly going to start buying from other places cuz this is getting ridiculous on the prices.

I ate there last night. I had to pick up my pizza because even though the area I was visiting is in there zone for delivery it is black listed for safety reasons. I love that they put there employees above a profit. Not many companies do that and it lets you know that if they take care of their employees then they most likely take care of the customer as well. The place was very clean and I was greeted promptly. My food was ready to go in about 15 minutes. I would definitely order from here again.

Usual sub par pizza, it's a step above Little Ceasers. Tried the new Cheez It pizza, their photos make it look big, they're incredibly small (I put airpods case for sense of size) and extremely thin with minutely chopped pepperoni pieces. It was like eating a salt lick. Horrible, and for $6.99 I feel extremely ripped off. For another $1 literally I could have purchased an entire pizza. These 4 bite size things don't even make a slice of pizza. Shame on you pizza hut.

If you have not had a chance to come to this location, it is a MUST. I and my husband were treated very good, each and everytime, here. They are attentive to their customers, clean, and the food WOW...no one makes pizza better around here for miles. The employees are awesome, the manager awesome...You want good food, good service...come here:) You are missing out if you don't give this location a try...I promise you will be back. I am a true customer.

Placed an order through postmates. Asked for very light cheese, got no sauce with regular cheese. I bet the pizza is good for most but I can't eat it covered in cheese so my roommate will have lunch I guess. I thought pizza hut would've been a better choice over domino's, hopefully next time they get it right.

The worst company to ever work for. Mark Peterson does not care about his employees or how human resources treats the employees .. Yes, they pay their employees . But the way the corporate treats the employees is wrong . The company use you up then they legally terminate you and not pay you the money they owe you. Promotes people who don't deserve it . The employees and manager there were extremely rude. Whether it was because I was Hispanic or homeless I'm not sure but they made me feel like I was trash and didn't belong there. It was extremely hot outside and all I needed was a water cup and some shade for a couple minutes. Apparently, I was asking for too much because I was told to get of the property because according to company policy I was loitering.

These employees have very poor attitudes and we ask for a special and the lady says there are no specials going on. So she tried to charge us $51 dollars for a large pizza and wings. We left and she sarcastically says have a nice day. She will know who she is because I’m calling the manger tomorrow. By the way. A special 2 large pizza was $7.99. She didn’t need to be working there with an attitude like that.

It was real good it usually is and the chicken alfredo was really good I don't know about the hand tossed Crest though it didn't I tried it and didn't turn out too good for me anyway. I picked mine up and it was maybe 15 18 minutes after I called it was hot and ready to go staff could be a little nicer or a little more knowledgeable but the rest was good I'm a fan of Pizza Hut love their meat lovers

Driver took off with our order said he knocked was not even in the parking lot. Then manager was going to try and say that we gave them the wrong address but we didn't. So then they had to remake our pizza or heated the same one regardless it was burnt no sauce dry they only put ham when we purchased ham and pepperonis wings not medium hot but the only good things of the meal were the wings.

The workers are completely irresponsible and unsupervised. They clearly close at midnight Sunday- Thursday yet when I call at 11 they claim they're closed. And aside from that prior experiences here have not been great. It's rude people who have no idea what they're doing. Either these children are not being supervised or management is just as bad. Either way I'm disappointed in Pizza Hut.

Manager and cashier was rude had attitudes did not care for their customers. My order was wrong food was cold by the time I drove 5 minutes home. The manager just offered a credit when I just gave them $45 for my order which was ridiculous. It’s not hard to read a screen that tells you what type of pizza to make.. Don’t go here rude employees and they don’t know how to make pizzas

I had mine delivered. It said it would take a half hour. The pizza showed up in 15. They delivery guy was ready with the cheese and peppers and was delightful. Shockingly my pizza was close to being undercooked/raw. It seemed like it just thrown in the box. All in all I would rather wait the whole 30 minutes and have it fully cooked then have it at my door still raw.

Pizza is always good! Been going to this exact location for the last 3 years now and the staff are ALWAYS friendly, the pizza is always good! And they even have a drive through window! Very convenient! I will admit the area surrounding it is always under construction so it's annoying to get to, but it's worth it when you get your fresh pizza! Thanks guys and gals !!!

Ordered pizza when first opened. I thought okay , fast order . Absolutely not. Waited a hour. Called and found out the cashier that took my order not only wrote down the wrong address but cell phone number as well. Extremely rude . Wasn't being very friendly not answering any of my questions on specials. You want something at a decent time ... Don't order here .

Thankfully whenever we order pizza from here we do it online and pick it up. I have walked up to the counter to pick up and was ignored for almost ten minutes before some girl that couldn't avoid eye contact with me said someone would be right with me as she hurried to the back. It's always like that or I am made to feel like I'm an inconvenience to them.

We waited 45 mintues for pur food and never got our hot wing's the tables were dirty, also they serve us with dirty dishes. The waitress never came back after she took our order and when she brought it the service was very bad... we took the dishes to the manager and he just took it and didn't say anything please be aware this place is unsanitary

Food is good, however they will not deliver to my apt. I understand why, drivers have been robbed. But this area, is no worse than the surrounding area, and where Pizza Hut is located. I have had all sorts of food delivered here by other places. Doordash as well... it may hurt their business, as next time I will probably order from elsewhere....

I always love coming here. The entire staff is always helpful and friendly. Today July 24th Alexis was doing everything, she is great and I hope to have her serve me next time. Highly recommend coming here. I will always ask if Alexis is working, that way I know I will get exceptional service. This young lady needs a raise.!!!!!

Took forever to even to be asked if I wanted order. After I ordered, it took 1/2 an hour to get it when I was told it would take less than half that time. The girl who was supposed to be up front was in the back flapping her gums. When I finally received my order they couldn't even tell me how long it had been sitting there.

I have been to this place a couple of times. I always order online. And in 20 or so min the food is ready and hot. No delays on anything pull up to the window and very in less the 10 min im out enjoying my pizza. Customer service is good havent had an issue with an employee yet. I will continue buying from this pizza hut.

Will never order here again. First order was missing the 2ltr Pepsi (since they didn't have my Dr Pepper). Second order cancelled because they told me that it would be over 2 hours to deliver. Third order cancelled because they told me that they don't have any delivery drivers. Three strikes and your out, Pizza Hut.

Ordered at 10:51 pm was supposed to get my order at 11:35pm my order was in oven for the longest I called the store and it’s closed! I have been going to pizza hut for 40 years and I will never return absolutely was horrible the last 2 times 3 meatballs on the whole damm thing asked for extra sauce on pies got none the melt was not a melt but was crunchy disappointed total waste of money and price rediculiness

First time here just made a order take for some breadsticks and some cheese bread and I requested they cut the cheese bread so it easier to break apart they did good on Making it , I was highly satisfied with the food and sauce. Would come back for more thats my experience.

I used 125 of my reward points for teriyaki wings. They were not edible. The sauce was so strong it took your breath away to even smell it. This is the 2nd time in the last month I have had a bad experience with pizza hut. Dominoes is cheaper so ill take my business there.

The big New Yorker was so disappointing on the commercial they make it look easier and full of pepperoni the store I ordered from on 43rd avenue and McDowell made it with none of that I paid $15 for the pizza and honestly that was like a $7 value if that

Place is a joke driver said he knocked on door an waited five min but knowbody knocked. When I called to find out were my order was he said driver was thier wait then left....would u like me to remake ur order I said no an order from dominos.

I would have been satisfied if my delivery was delivered instead of me having to end up picking up my order. Also my food was cold. There was a 3 hour wait for my order. This location needs more delivery drivers and employees.

The only good thing I can say is that the bathroom was clean. The staff send to be lost in there own shop. While I was there the phone kept ringing but nobody was picking it up. It is sad to see how far Pizza Hut has fallen.

If I could put no stars I would. Ladies working up at the front are just gossiping and eating hot Cheetos. Waited 30+ mintues for a regular pepperoni pizza. There was 6 girls all bunched up eating hot Cheetos with idk what.

In this day in age, GPS is pretty accurate. Pizza was cold and wings had no "flavor sauce" when ordered so. For a legendary pizza chain, I put the "NO GO" on the individual restaurant to be fair, not Pizza Hutt as a whole.

Tried to pick up my order. I saw the girls on there cell phones for 10 minutes before thinking of helping. Then took 5 minutes to get the manager. To only have the cashier in front of the manager, yell and kick me out.

Pizza was cold, only wings were warm, had to wait an additional 15 mins , after app said it was ready. Ordered regular hand tossed, received really really thin dough, like if it was a tortilla

Paid a lot of money for three pizzas for them to come out burnt. I had asked for extra cheese on one of my pizzas and I didn't get it. The pizza looked like it was day old pizza . So gross!!
