So I want to qualify my 3 stars before i start - i have been going to this location for 5+ years fairly regularly. Their pizzas taste amazing. If you order delivery, it shows up promptly. Lunch or dinner doesn't matter. [My office is two blocks away, and my house is 2km in the opposite direction] However, when you get into the store the service has always been a bit 'light' - they're nice enough, but may take a couple of minutes to see you while they're chatting in the back etc. It's something I do notice - but not something I usually care about too much. For six to eight weeks in a row i was ordering a pizza for either pick up or delivery on Tuesday. In between i might get some lunch if i was at the office. My diet had become a bit pizza heavy and it was all Pizza Nova. The last time i went to pick up a pizza (Tues May 4th) while i was in the store, they asked if i wanted a dipping sauce. I usually don't get dipping sauces as I try to watch my overall spend, but this time I was feeling good and said "Sure. What flavours do you have?" He offered several, and there was a new flavour - Mike's Hot Honey. Sounded interesting, so I said sure, give me that. He rang it up at $1.99 and i recall thinking immediately, "Wow - sauces are pricy - probably why I don't usually buy them." Pizza was going to take another 2 or 3 minutes, so as I waited I noticed on the menu that all the sauces (except Mike's) were listed and cost $0.99. [As a side note - Mike's wasn't listed with a price anywhere] I mentioned this, and the person at the cash was pretty rude - "Those cost more - you saw me ring it up!" I got my pizza and went home. I have NOT given them a single dollar of business since - they made the $1 off me, and have lost $70 in business so far. What should have happened at the point of order, after he mentioned all the sauce flavours equally and I mentioned Mike's. "hey Mike's is new, it costs an extra dollar - is that okay?" What should have happened when I brought it up - "Hey i'm sorry, it's new and I should have mentioned it costs more than the other sauces. Would you like a refund or how can i make it right?" [Mistakes do happen and I'm generally a reasonable guy - I would have likely kept the sauce] I've kept the sauce unopened in front of my fridge as a reminder for why I won't go back for a while. For everyone else - the pizza is delicious! For pizza alone, I would have likely given 4 to 4.5 stars.

Horrible customer service for take out. My boyfriend ordered a slice of pizza and the guy at the counter didn’t even tell him about their special for a large pizza for 4 bucks and change! Though cashed him out for a slice n drink for more money. This makes your customers feel ripped off. He walked out and saw the sign and went back in and the guy got all defensive and said he didn’t tell him about the special because he was busy. Um ... are we not customers ? Not anymore. I would let this guy go, he doesn’t care about your customer experience. He was very defensive . A better response would have been apologize, be respectful, offer the special , let your customer know you care and that it slipped your mind to offer the deal, which you’re advertising with a huge banner in the front of your store window. ! Embarrassing for this location as other customers were present in the store observing their terrible service.

Store opens at 11am but was able to order online earlier than 11am. Ordered a party sized pizza with pepperoni for lunch with some of my co workers. And my pizza was ready at the promised ready time. Arrived at the restaurant at 11:13am and it was very clean, with all the slices fully displayed and fresh. The restaurant was buzzing too with a few workers preparing other pizza's and items for other customers. He mentioned when I arrived they've already made and delivered about 50 plus pizzas, for a few corporate clients around the neighbourhood. The pizza here is always made fresh, tasted good and never burnt/overcooked.

Have tried ordering here a few times and experiences have not been great. The first time they got the toppings on my pizza wrong, then when I called in they had said that they put the right toppings on and there was nothing they would do about it. (Mind you there was even a picture that showed the incorrect toppings) Then recently my husband and I had ordered online so we could conveniently pick up the pizza and go. When we got there, the employee behind the counter said he had given the pizza away already to another person. The customer service is below satisfactory and will not be ordering from here again as they cannot take responsibility for errors made by them.

Often pick up pizzas at the York Mills shop, and they are always quite good, but parking is nuts. More importantly there was a customer beside me at the York mills store tonight who clearly ignored me after I told him 5 times to put on a mask. The employee at the cash clearly heard what was going on. Not only did he choose not to intervene, but he served the customer and than lied to me about not realizing that he did not have a mask on. Not impressive at all. May not go back.

I visited the store during night. The old italian man working was really sweet and humble in taking orders. He was very friendly and had a good talk with him. The pizza was really hot well baked and even the ingredients were in good quantity. I will surely visit this place. Would also request the onwer to increase this guys pay who is excellent pizza artist and has fascinating customer service etiquettes....

Pizza was ok but the delivery driver was UNPROFESSIONAL, he delivered to our door and said “you didn’t give the driver a tip”. . (This was ordered through Uber eats — it’s not that I don’t tip it’s that I don’t like tipping through the app because it pre-authorizes the charge to my bank then it’ll seperately try to do another charge —which is the tip and my bank blocks it/ it’s ubers problem not mine).

I'm fairly sure you gave me the pizza you made to be sold as individual slices instead of the freshly made pizza I ordered and paid for. It was cold, stale and inedible. I even watched you take a fresh pizza out of the oven while I waited which matched my order. However, I wasn't given that one, instead you grabbed a stale one sitting on top of the oven. Save yourself some money, don't go here.

This location did a great job. The order was correct and the food was well cooked. As usual with Pizza Nova the prices are good for what you get. Overall this was a great experience and I would order from this location again. The one thing I would note is that they need to make sure to wipe down the counter/seating area more often.

While I wasn't able to order online to pick up, ordering in person, our two large pizzas were ready in 15 minutes. It could have been less time, but we didn't go back to the store until 15 minutes and the pizzas were waiting for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, good place to go if you're looking for some fast pizza.

This is a good place to get pizzas, like most of the same chain, the quality is good, the best of the different franchises in town. This location is just for take out and delivery. Also you can get their sauce, olives, hot peppers and sundried tomatoes. They have combos, some dishes and chicken wings, the last one are good.

Went their to support charity and get 2 pizzas on variety village pizza day and they "ran out" of the 5 dollar pizza dough but I was still able to order a full price pizza which they had plenty of dough of. I'd rather them be honest then lie to my face as the person before me walked out with 2 pizzas after waiting an hour

Good food. However, customer service can definitely be better. I was the only customer in the store and I still had to wait. And the guy who served me was grumpy. It was like I was preventing him from doing other things.

Pizza nova in general is good pizza but these guys either don't have a clue what well done means or they rush the pizza out the door before its ready. Good thing a pizzaolo is opening in our area.

The Deluxe has less topping than it used to. Other than that, this is still one of the better pizzas. Too bad pizza has gotten so expensive. I would eat it more often. More

Really good pizza, especially when you consider that it's a franchise. The sauce, dough and toppings are the best quality of any of the pizza franchises in the area.

Grew up eating pizza Nova and has always been a classic fav! Will drive hours for the nearest pizza Nova!
