This gym is convenient to work being right down the street for the most part the people are nice who work there. My only complaint and not trying to be passive aggressive but the same peace of gum is still on the floor I front of the smith machine and I have not been to the gym for personal reasons. There is still the same metal tidbit on the floor next to the gum . The one day a gentleman was eating boiled peanut out of a bag tossing shells on the floor. There is a couple from the street folks eating a can of cold ravioli in the sitting area . The mirror are beyond not clean it’s not the members job to tell managers to clean it up . They can blame oh sweetie it’s the area well it’s not . There are hospitals and gyms in other kinda tuff on times areas in other city’s way hard corer then Tampa . It’s management not managing sitting on the counter top not rounding not looking at what needs done . What you permit you promote don’t kid your self and make excuses on why the gym is dirty and people are doing what ever they want . The gym is 24 hours but it’s not anyone’s kitchen or living room and some one needs to clean up and control what’s happening. Take the blinders off and run the gym and not be afraid to open your mouth and say NO this behavior is not going to be tolerated in my work place and the members gym . Yes it low cost but it still is not free get with running it not letting it run it’s self . Please do better I like the gym just needs to tighten the muscles on what’s allowed and what’s not allowed.

Wow!! As a massage therapist I tend to stay away from gyms as I find yoga and tai chi more soothing and safe so I don’t feel like a wreck when I work. I’m very impressed with the layout of the facility; the cleanliness of the space as well as friendliness of the employees. The best part is the SPA!! This is absolutely GENIUS!! I will sign-up here just for the spa goodies like the Hydro Massage and The Beauty Angel Total Body Enhancement!! How innovative and unique for a gym to offer this after a brutal workout!! I felt like I was floating on a cloud in the Beaty Angel; it was PURE BLISS!! Plus!! I loved the surround sound that made me feel like I was being hugged by an Angel!! The Hydro Massage Lounger was exquisite considering there’s no hard and painful plastic balls digging into your bones, the warmth made me feel safe and cozy! As a massage therapist I shall highly recommend joining Planet Fitness as part of my client’s healing journey!! Thank you!!!

Needs more ab machines and a medium weight medicine ball , otherwise it's pretty clean and most machines are available all times of the day. Could use longer hours on weekends and needs classes on evenings and weekends. So I felt the need to edit my review after using the place for about a year. This place has the least trained employees. On a Sunday morning no one really busy here employee is just sitting around and the place looks filthy.... there are mats and garbage everywhere. I complained that the stairclimers are not hooked up to the TVs today for some reason. I was told they're just for the ellipticals, even though every other time I've been here I've used the stair climber with the headsets and it's hooked to the TV. Feel like I'm not getting my money's worth lately.

Not one of the worst Planet Fitness that I've been to. The stand up tanning bed was filthy dirty. The acrylic tanning walls were filthy to the touch. The floor that you stand on inside was very dirty and I hated standing on it barefooted. I took a guest and we took our clothes inside to change into after we showered. My clothes were in a bag under a desk, in the ladies locker room. I began gathering my items to shower and my clothes were gone!!!! Someone stole my bag of clothes. I looked everywhere, the trash cans, lockers, bathroom stalls, etc, and they were nowhere to be found. The employees were rude. Pretty much what I found in any establishment in the state of Florida. They weren't sympathetic about my clothes being stolen. Was just plain rude about it.

I no longer live near Tampa, and I have tried to cancel my membership with this Planet Fitness location twice by phone and once in writing. They act like they didn't receive my letter, which they said is required to cancel, probably so they can keep charging me. The letter was mailed 3 weeks ago. Their employees are rude and unhelpful. Don't walk but RUN away if you're thinking of joining this gym. Once you sign up, they act like they are entitled to charge you every month forever, even though they will set you up with a cancel anytime type of contract to make you feel comfortable. They even had the nerve to tell me I have to provide a reason I am canceling in writing. How about because it's my money and I said so!!??

I've been waiting to write a review honestly. I purchased the membership the day before Thanksgiving 2021. Now it is January 8th I read the reviews on this specific location. I honestly do not agree with the reviews. Everyone has different experiences. The staff every single one of them respectful. Some reviews complained about mask. Honestly some people wear it and some people do not. But will someone else not wearing a mask interfere with you working out to feel better and get healthy. Honestly I wear my mask I go in I get my workout in and go. Staff greet you as you walk in and say good bye when you are leaving. I’m so excited to have found a new gym home. I came here 2 weeks ago because my son invited me he said they had a free summer fitness pass for high school students and I wanted to support him. Little did I know I was going to change over. This Planet Fitness is the opposite of what I have experienced at the crunch on Hillsborough Ave. This gym is super clean and I appreciate that. I’m no longer grossed out when I come to work out. I gave it 2 weeks to see if it would stay that way and it has. You staff is friendly and always cleaning. Keep up the good work. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST! I went in today to speak to the manager ZOE about some very confusing account issues that have been lingering for some time. She immediately got all the information, explained what the issues were and how I could go about fixing them. Although it was somewhat tedious, she remained professional and helpful throughout. She also offered to assist with helping me with the mobile app and updating information. The entire CS Team was helpful, understanding and patient. She fixed my account issues in record time. Great place to work out and meet awesome people! Thanks again Zoe!

Nice, clean, lots of equipment. Massage machines, tanning machines & other nice options. No pool. Small in comparison to so much equipment. Prices are good. Won't take a membership because they require your checking account number to join. I have debit & credit card, but PF Won't accept. I've had to many fraud activities on my checking account the last 2 years to trust any company with that information. I'm sure PF is honest, but can't take any changes these days with so many fraudsters & opportunists out there. Otherwise, I would have bought a membership already.

I had the unfortunate experience of being a member at this gym, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful, making every interaction uncomfortable. What's worse, even after I followed their cancellation procedures to the letter, they still managed to charge me for months after I had canceled my membership. It's clear that this gym prioritizes profits over customer satisfaction and ethical business practices. Save yourself the headache and find a gym that actually cares about its members.

2 things. Sunday July 9th 6:20pm nobody was at the counter, people waiting for the manager, personally I was waiting for the massage chair and I couldn’t use it, the manager never came back for long time. Check cameras. I saw the manager walking with a girl and then disappear. Now Tuesday 1:50pm 4 people at the counter and the men bathroom is sting, check urinals floors and garbage, with that many people the gym should be super clean. Please help the staff to manage the gym and coach your manager.

I've been coming here six days a week for a while now and I never have any complaints. It's the brightest and cleanest in the area, the sanitation supplies is always stocked, and even the bathrooms are regularly taken care of. I am one of those 6am people, so Jena is the first person I see every day. She is patient, kind, and has a good sense of humor- what more could you ask for? There is another location closer to work, but this is worth the extra drive time any day. Thanks, guys!

I have been going to this Planet Fitness location for several months, and not once have I ever been let down by this location! The gym is always super clean, the equipment is regularly maintained and in good condition, and the staff is always kind and professional. Teresa, Mario, Shay, Zoey, and Gabe are the best - and are always present in the gym to help out with anything, or are doing a great job cleaning. I will most likely come to this location for the rest of my days!

Gym is great along with the workers but there's a catch, when you sign up is $12 dollars but there's a fixed billing date so you'll be paying for your membership on week one and the monthly dues on week two and there's also a annual fee of $46 dollars plus tax that you'll have to pay within the first month, so just FYI pay attention because the first month is literally almost $100 dollars if not over, not "$24.99" as advertised. Other than that is not a bad fitness center.

These people rob you for your money! Rude manager!! I literally had to go in person to cancel with them! They never explained to me that I had to cancel before a certain amount of time if not I was gonna get charged again which makes no sense to me. Especially if I have not used the membership smh this was not explained to me and when I asked for the manager I was apparently talking to him smh no remorse at all smh !! I would never get planet fitness again!!!

I like coming to the gym. It’s very clean and well kept, has tons of machines, I use every single perk. The staff is always cleaning and they’re friendly and take the extra time to help you, Kayla helped me with a billing issue that was on my end, she was informative and helpful which was perfect and honestly at other gyms I have gotten attitude about billing so this was refreshing! Made my experience that much better, love coming here for so many reasons.

This location is hands down the best! The trainers are welcoming and patient. There's always a staff associate wiping equipment down. The Women's Locker room and showers are always clean. There's classes offered here and a water filtration fountain, or you can purchase water. The Hydro Massage room have a good amount of recliners and beds available for use morning till night. The Staff Maliq, Madison, Brian, Dre, and the rest of the Team at this location are exceptional! The staff are constantly cleaning and the daytime users have a culture of sanitizing equipment before and after use. Attending everyday while vacationing for over three weeks I have yet to see any equipment closed off for repair which is unheard-of at most gyms. Shout out to Maliq for his outstanding leadership and role model to his team!

This gym is great! Came in to take a tour and possibly get a membership and I was greeted by an associate named Mikaela. She was so welcoming and friendly that it made me feel comfortable being there. When taking the tour, Mikaela had every answer to every question I had and even more! She showed me the ins and outs and explained everything to me about the memberships. I would recommend this gym to anyone just because of Mikaela!!

Really pleased that this neighborhood has a planet fitness. The placement couldn’t have been more perfect, and it’s not necessarily just a plus for me BUT for everyone that may find themselves in this area. The few staff members I did see present during my visit were friendly. The facility was clean and well-equipped. Due to the popular demand it seems like a steady-busy gym…good for them! I attended this Planet Fitness gym, as a guest, with a long time member who swears by this place. We spent a little over an hour working out, and I was very impressed with the size of the gym, the selection and condition of the equipment, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the great staff. I definitely came away with my mind made up to join up and become a member. I would highly recommend visiting this location.

Phenomenal customer service. Kierra is normally working the days I workout. She’s always helpful if I have any questions. She gave me a tour of the gym, which previously I had never got. She’s always wearing a bright smile and insuring the equipment are sterile wiped down. She’s a great worker and makes the workout atmosphere very comfortable. Thanks to her Planet Fitness has a permanent client.

Clean and never too crowded. It’s not a “typical” gym but it has a lot of great machines. Only free weights are dumbbells so you have to make do but you can still get a great workout in. The staff is chill & willing to help when needed. Also the facility is large so there is great spacing and the equipment doesn’t feel cluttered or on top of itself (like the waters Ave & Hanley location).

Front staff are very kind and friendly. Place its clean and have cleaning stations all over. I'm currently being trained by Mikayla. She is very professional and very passionate for what she does. Every day it's a great experience working out especially having someone next to you helping you reach your goals. I couldn't be more happy with my results and its only week 5.

I dropped one of my AirPods underneath a treadmill and Kevin from the desk literally climbed on the floor and used his super human strength (which I can only assume he acquired from working out at this exceptional planet fitness location) to reach under and grab it for me. You don’t make gains and get customer service like this at other establishments. 5/5.

Gets the job done for the price (super affordable)! The staff is always friendly. It's pretty empty in the mornings which is nice and they have a lot of machines so even when it's busy you'll be able to use something. The clientele is people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels so I never feel judged or out of place. It's well-cleaned and overall nice!

I really enjoy my daily visit to this local planet fitness , apart from good hygiene my trip is made safer with a strict mask policy. I am only available to go at night which is my favorite staff Kierra shift she always cleans and makes my exercise experience 100% better. Great gym. Free training is never available after 4 booked solid for over a month. Don't join for the free training unless you don't work days. Not a strong man gym so dumbells stop around 70lbs still can get a good workout and the silly link alert is never used thankfully. A respectful environment to work out no matter your fitness level

To be frank, I travel for a living and this is by far my favorite planet fitness. The staff is amazing and well managed! I’ve been to many gyms in my 21 years on this earth. This Planet Fitness is by far my favorite. The staff is very friendly. My favorite employee is Kierra, sometimes I go in after work around 2 am and she’s always in there working hard with a smile on her face. She is also very pretty and makes me happy. Would highly recommend this gym.

I'm shocked how much I like this gym. They are clean, not overly packed and seem well run. I mostly use the free weight section and it's never full. It's well used, but not full. Always greeted as I enter and as I leave. The only suggestions I have is to make it colder in your Gym, and replace your shower curtains, they are gross.

The night time environment is just wonderful and super clean. I come do my workouts without all the rush and the night staff Kierra Is just amazing she treats everyone the same always helpful. Her energy and personality is one of a kind I love walking through pf doors she gets me pumped for my workout she is the best hands down.!

Brendan, Jena, and Ricky were absolutely wonderful to me during my visit. I had a great experience with all of them. I am currently with YouFit, but I am seriously thinking about switching. This gym is very small, and is 70% cardio equipment. There is one very small section for cables which was utilized by a single member the entire duration of my workouts, rendering the cables useless if you go to this gym at 5-7pm window. Informed management but they chose no course of action. Will look for better options.

Be aware. Say no contracts but to cancel your contract you can only go to your home gym in person or send a letter. Shouldn't be that hard. Especially since you can go to any location to use such membership. I no longer live in the area and now I have to send a letter which is a pretty antiquated way so do things in 2022.

Clean facility with a lot of equipment and different options. Friendly staff and patrons. I have been back in the gym for 2 weeks now. I am feeling great and already seeing results. It is cool to see some of the same peeps from time to time and the always welcoming staff here keeps me motivated and wanting to come back.

Even though going to the gym isn’t as easy every day, I love going to this location because I know that I’ll be greeted by Teresa and Zoey. They always have such positive energy and it really makes a difference in my workouts. They always have a smile on their face and are super helpful if I ever have questions!

I was reluctant to go back to a gym, as I had been working out at home for the past several years. But Planet Fitness is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the gym is always very clean, and there is tons of resistance equipment and cardio options. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone of any age.

This was my first time ever at a gym and it was very easy going no pressure and if you don’t know how to use the equipment no problem just take out your phone and scan it gives you step by step directions on how to use on top of all that the massage chair is awesome with a great atmosphere I just love it

I always feel awkward going to the gym because I'm not familiar with the machines and what to do so Madison was very helpful and nice and showed me how to look it up in the app I'm really thankful for her making me feel so welcome as soon as I walked in she was very nice and caring so thank you madison

I really like this location. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Zoey, Vo, Rick and Jenna are all great and put a smile on my face when I walk through the door. They're other gyms closer to my residence in West Tampa but I come over here regardless because it feels comfortable like home.

I come late at night and Kierra is such an amazing attendant she completely makes me feel welcome every time I enter the door and when I exit I appreciate the gym being open 24 hours it is such a convenience. And let me also say I certainly appreciate how clean the gym is. Gold star all the way.

This gym is always so clean. People at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Machines are kept in great shape with plenty of spray bottles and paper towels to wipe the equipment down. Worth every penny and its never really that crowded so you are not on top of anyone while working out.!!!!!

Clean and welcoming - as someone newish to working out it really more of the "no-judgements" vibe than some other chains. Trainer Maliq was incredibly kind and patient with me, walking me through the entirety of the gym, giving introductions to the different types of equipment and areas.

Amazing location with friendly staff and very clean facilities! It’s never too busy which is a huge bonus! Also they have one of the cleanest locker rooms i’ve seen. With 4 showers & 3 changing rooms! I travel to different locations on a monthly, so this really stood out to me!

It's OK, none of the TVs were on (maybe not working?), the equipment was outdated. I was on a treadmill that you could see visible rust on the metal part that runs the belt. It's squeaked pretty bad while walking on it. Staff was nice and it was clean. Needs a major overhaul.

Basic needs of a gym, not too crowded which is nice. If you are looking for a lot of free weights or benches and squat racks, you probably need to go to a different location or a different gym based on the type of exercises you tend to do. Clean gym and friendly staff.

This location is literally a hidden gem. Very clean facility, friendly staff, and great selection of equipment. It’s hardly overcrowded so you can get a great workout in without waiting for machines to be freed up. I loveeee the hydromassage!

Horrible barely any water coming out of sinks showers are old so barely any water coming out of them. Massage chair old not properly working. That had to be the hood. No way anyone can be satisfied with working out there. Never again

Staff is very friendly, Zoey showed me around the gym and told me about what’s included in the black card membership. Usually I am nervous about going to the gym but here I feel comfortable. Will definitely start coming in more.

Very bad customer service. Charged my fee after closing their doors. Honest mistake, nope, refused to refund the charge. Had to get my bank to block future charges. Owner gives off a scammer vibe.

Glad this place was open Jan 1. Facilities were clean and staff was friendly. Maliq, Madison, Rebecca, Dre, Felix, Jose, Mia, Nadiya, Keniarlie, Devaris, and Tabetha were in today and were great!

Do they interview their employees before even working at a gym facility? Would give one star if I could. What a joke. At least before they had decent people working at this location.

I didn't think I would be able to firm up and have been surprised to find that low weight . . . lots of reps ARE tightening up the (wobbly-bits) without being sore. I'm so relieved.

Long overdue. Been going here since 8/2021 very laid back environment. Most people are cool & the staff is top tier. The place is always clean. I highly recommend this place.

As a 12 year black card member this location is very clean, great staff and team.. the management acknowledges there members with curiosity and professionalism!

The gym is very clean & well organized. The staff is amazing especially Ricky. He is very kind and takes his job seriously to truly make this a judge free zone.
