"Best Hardware store I have ever been in"
"BEATS CANADIAN TIRE or HOME DEPOT for the small stuff for sure"
"I've been going here for over a decade"
"Most crammed, disorganized store I have ever seen"
"The proprietor at the store is quite knowledgeable and even though you cannot go wandering around the store he will help you to get what you're looking for, he is quite reliable and friendly this is like your local neighborhood store highly recommend"
Best Hardware store I have ever been in. The owner is the best!! I was sold a great product, AT A GREAT PRICE!!! He explained everything that I needed to do to install the product correctly! We are so lucky to have this man in our area! I encourage everyone to utilize this small business as much as you can! I really don't want to see any small businesses around me lost during the pandemic, but this one would not be replaced with anything that is even close to its quality! Simply one of the best! Support him in any way you can! A huge thank you to him for helping me out! PS HE EVEN MADE SURE I HAD HIS PHONE NUMBER, SO I COULD CALL HIM IF I HAD QUESTIONS!
BEATS CANADIAN TIRE or HOME DEPOT for the small stuff for sure. Just like the old days. This small shop is packed and the person that runs this shop is great. You need one nail? He will sell it to you. Best to ask for help because there is so much stock packed in I find stuff hard to find but the owner will work hard to help you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for everyday hardware/key cutting etc.
I've been going here for over a decade. I always check for him first before going to Cdn Tire or Home Depot. He doesn't have everything, but he has no qualms about where to direct you if he doesn't have what you're looking for. He's always helpful and happy to help and advise me on what I need for my home projects with NO UPSELL. This place is a neighbourhood gem.
Most crammed, disorganized store I have ever seen. Even the staff can't find items. I'd rather go further out of my way to find a decent hardware store. Not to mention the suspicious staff watching and following me around - actually standing at the end of the overly stacked isles to watch me. No thanks.
The proprietor at the store is quite knowledgeable and even though you cannot go wandering around the store he will help you to get what you're looking for, he is quite reliable and friendly this is like your local neighborhood store highly recommend
So much for trying to support local small neighbourhood stores. Found the sales assistant rude, condensing, and completely unhelpful. Just because I happen to be female - he should not have assumed that I didn't know what I wanted.
Needed a part ASAP for a leaking kitchen sink, service here was prompt and he got me exactly what I need along with helpful advice for the repair. Highly recommend; we need more people in the world like this!
Most helpful store in the district. Have nothing to say but exceptional service. Hap is a master of knowledge and professionally acclimated. Check it out. At least 15-20 percent cheaper than Canadian tire.
Not at all helpful. Rude and ignorant store guy/owner; closes at odd hours. Very few to crap stuff. After I saw him abusing some random person, I left . There has been other complaints about this store.
My favourite little hardware store in a pinch. Owner operated, super friendly and knowledgable. It's the smallest big box store with a ton of heart and the right nut and bolt when you need it.
Went in looking to pick up some parts for a project and the guy just said I can’t help you and you can’t look around. Pretty sad customer service. Spend your money someplace else like I did.
A weird man working there, was very rude and didn’t believe me when I told him what I needed (a very common item). He kept questioning me (but not trying to help) while I was browsing.
Love this great little store. Amazing how they usually have what you need, tucked away somewhere. Let the owner know what you're looking for -- he is super helpful and knowledgeable!
Can’t say enough good things about Polytechnic Hardware! The staff is super helpful and they seem to have everything! A much better option than the local big box store in the area.
I called to asked about a specific type of paint, the gentlemen who answered said NO! It's a special order. He didn't offer an alternative product to purchase, he simply said no.
One of the last remaining small hardware stores. This guy sells everything and anything. fair prices and good service. Please support local and give this guy a try.
Nice guy... Needed two keys cut, he was fast and it was only $2.50 a key compared to almost $10 at other hardware stores. Also the keys work perfectly.
This guy is great. Way better than Canadian Tire or Home Depot. I can always get what I need there and he gives great advice to help the DIY-ers.
Off brand knockoff items for full brand prices. Small store with small selection. Dont waste your time, go to a home hardware or canadian tire
Great store has 90 % of any item you need that is hardware related ,only missing item I could not find is 8× caulking and they cut keys
The Owner/gentleman working there is very helpful. I got exactly what I needed and he even gave me tips on how to install.
Made a front door key for me. Very quick. affordable price, and works well. Absolutely would recommend for key making.
Super helpful people. Went here after a terrible experience with Canadian Tire & quickly turned my mood around.
knows his stock! will sell you a couple or entire box of nails/anchors, great price! whatever you need ask
Super knowledgeable and seems to have everything you might need. Has always given solid advice.
Small store but great selection and super helpful and knowledgeable owner. Highly recommend it.
Guy is always super nice and very helpful. I prefer coming here, even if it's farther.
Very limited selection. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner, though.
Have been coming here for years. Great service, great selection.
Really helpful owner. Have a lot of spare parts for the house.
Nice owner, knows his stuff and really helpful with questions!
Small store but always find what u need. Owner super helpful.
Hep is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about his product.
Friendly service and knowledgable staff! Thanks for your help
