So let me preface this review by stating that the experience from my previous pharmacy after being swallowed up by another chain was less than stellar which is an understatement. However, I'm basing my experience on my initial encounter with my new pharmacy. First, the establishment is clean, minimal decor, bright, pandemic ready, and conveniently located. The staff is friendly, seems serviceable, and knowledgeable. Now, I have an extensive list of medications that I take 4x a day, and thanks to the previous pharmacy I was left in the lurch (see previous review if interested). I had 2 days left of medication and I use the pill pak service so it's a pretty tall order in a short period of time. However, they were able to pull it out in a little more than one day. Special shoutout to Lupe for putting up with me and getting it done. I really appreciate the effort as I was stressed out about what had transpired at the previous pharmacy days before. I look forward to what I hope is a relatively trouble-free relationship. One more thing which I won't deduct any stars given the excellent level of service provided. That candy section looks like it was ravaged by hoarders right after the pandemic hit. At least they left behind a box of peanut M&Ms...hehehe :0)

I was able to transfer my prescriptions very easily and quickly! The medication was also filled quickly. My only complaint is that I am taking a controlled substance that is on backorder. Before I transferred my prescriptions in, I explicitly asked whether this medication is available or whether I would have problems filling the prescription at this pharmacy. I asked over the phone and also in person. Both times I was told that I would not have a problem with this prescription. My controlled prescription was sent in earlier this week and wasn't filled as quickly, which I was fine with. I called today just to double check and was told that they do not carry this medication. This is disappointing as it is difficult to access and I was told twice before that there would be no issues. I'm very happy with the customer service, so the average patient will have no issue. Just advising people to triple check for the availability of any special medications.

I like to boost small local businesses but have had nothing but problems at this pharmacy. There's something wrong with my order almost every month. They cannot seem to communicate with my doctor, partly because they still insist on using outdated paper faxes. Automatic refills almost never happen without me going in, sometimes more than once, to request in person. Yesterday they called to tell me my order was ready and when I got there not only was it not ready, they still claimed to have no response from my doctor and had done nothing about it, as usual. Go elsewhere.

I’ve been filling my prescriptions at this pharmacy for almost a year now. I’ve had a lot of change in my doctors and medications throughout, and they’ve been so helpful navigating the system with me. Recently my new doctor had forgotten to refill my prescription, but they made sure I wouldn’t miss a dose—all the while treating me with earnest care. Thank you Pride Pharmacy!

These folx go above and beyond to help their customers. I take a ton of medications and the person(s) who works to get them ready on the same day each month, usually Stephanie or Lupe, does an impeccable job of meticulously checking my refills and prior authorizations. They are professional, proactive and intuitive. Thank goodness for the all the folx there!!

This pharmacy is the absolute best in Hillcrest and even San Diego for that matter! They are so nice and go above and beyond when dealing with you and your medications. I was hunting for a prescription to relieve my headache, and I'm glad I came across this pharmacy. The pharmacist was very friendly, even giving me advice about how to reduce my headaches! I'm very pleased with the service they offered!

I’m really disappointed above the service of this pharmacy they take 8 days to deliver my medications and they tell it was going to be delivery next day I really don’t recommend this place pride pharmacy sucks

Love this place. Limited hours but they deliver to my work or home and for some reason they are so much cheaper on my insurance, UHC ($1.50ish or so for most of mine compared to ($10 at CVS and Walgreens)
