I came to Primp & Tease to have my hair done for my wedding, and Janette did a fantastic job. I wanted a natural look with gentle curls and some subtle braiding, and told her that I wanted to wear keep my veil in all night long. She gave me exactly the look I was hoping for and even trimmed my bangs a little bit to make everything look tidy. I felt so beautiful and confident. And the veil stayed put (and my hair looked great) until I was ready to take it out at 2 am! The salon space was very welcoming and they took great care of me and my sister and friend. I would recommend this salon to anyone with a smaller bridal party who would rather visit a stylist than have on-site services.

Five stars for Sara Bogarin, the only person who I would let cut my hair ever. Sara has been cutting my hair for almost 9 years now, and consistency with great results. She will keep me going to her for many years to come. I suffered through 2-3 other stylists and unsatisfying results throughout Queens until I let Sara cut my hair, and I was relieved that she knew not only how to interpret my vague ramblings of what I was looking for in a cut, but how to make what I was expecting look even better. Plus, she is as professional as they come, and will always greet you with warmth and a smile. Definitely recommend her and anyone else at this Salon! They're all great!

Finally got my hair cut here after living in the neighborhood for years. I called and got a same day appointment with Nicky, who was friendly and really knows hair. I felt safe with their Covid precautions and came out with a great cut. I'll be back!

Stylist gave me some very direct and honest advice about my hair. I got a fresh cut that looked wonderful, and some very practical hair care advice that has greatly improved the Heath and look of my hair!

Janette is an absolute gem. She resuscitated my dried out hair, gave me amazing tips for long term hair care, and was so welcoming. Will definitely be my go-to from now on.
