Look no further for physical therapy with Pilates Reformer, or one on one Pilates Reformer sessions! I had been wanting to try Pilates Reformer for several years now, but the cost, hours, or location never quite worked out for me. Then, last December, I was struck by a vehicle in a hit and run and was seriously injured, requiring surgery to repair my tibea plateau and ankle. I was unable to walk for 3 months. I began with traditional PT, as I couldn’t drive in the beginning, and needed later hours so my husband could drive me after work. It was fine, but very clinical and I wasn’t connecting at all with my PT. In my initial search for “PT + Pilates Reformer” on my insurance website, I saw just 1 therapist who utilized the reformer, and it was Stephanie Schultz at Prism, but she is in N. Queen Anne, and I wasn’t driving yet. However, in June, when I decided to search other practitioners, I was beginning to drive a little. My daughter drove me to my first couple of visits before she began her summer job, and by then, I was hooked! The difference between this and traditional PT is staggering! Firstly, Stephanie is very kind and really listens to even the smallest of details, and knows exactly what my body is needing and in need of adjustment. Between her hands on body work and individually tailored exercises on the reformer and mat, my body got so much stronger so much more quickly than traditional PT exercises. I can’t recommend Prism highly enough. You will love it and her!
Stephanie was very professional from the get go. I reached out to her because a co-worker couldn't recommend her more for some physical therapy support. She checked my insurance, had flexibility in her schedule and was able to squeeze me in quickly, and was so clear in all her communication. Once I showed up for my appointment it was apparent how knowledgeable she really is. She asked me many questions, which actually helped target what was really going on. This was relieving especially after seeing another PT who wasn't able to give me the support I needed. Stephanie did cupping and gave me exercises to target some lower back and glute pain I am experiencing while pregnant and I can't wait to see her again due to the rapid improvement I have seen in the last week. FIVE STARS and some!
Prism Physical Therapy and Pilates helped me out of what felt like a pretty hopeless place with chronic lower back, hip, and SI joint pain. Through a careful treatment plan including core strengthening, flexibility exercises, stretching, and rethinking some old habits I was able to get back to a position of strength and confidence. It took some time but I am finally pain free again which I wasn’t sure was going to be possible for the rest of my life. Thank you Stephanie for being a huge difference maker in my health and quality of life, I can’t thank you enough.
Stephanie is a miracle worker! I have been to many PTs and chiropractors over the years and within minutes of our first session she noticed I had one leg shorter than the other (missed by all other practitioners) which is the root of most of my life long body pain and migraines. Amazing body work, intuitive and inventive exercises that actually result in improvement, and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Improve the quality of your life, stop putting up with pain and dismissive care, and see this angel of a provider!
Stephanie is a highly skilled PT whose knowledge of the human body makes her an amazing practitioner. The sessions are a combination of massage and exercises focused on retraining the muscles to maintain good alignment. During the sessions we used a Pilates reformer, and she also showed me exercises I could easily do at home. The support, encouragement, and education I received from Stephanie helped me recover from an injury and continue to have good form when working out in the future. I would highly recommend seeing her!
My experience with Stephanie has been exceptional! From her compassionate demeanor, and extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics, I knew I was in good hands. She was calm, patient, and provided me with effective exercises and interventions to heal my running injury, allowing me to get back to doing what I love! Her hands-on modalities, including cupping, massage, and myofascial work, dovetailed beautifully with the recommended treatments and exercises for home. I highly recommend her!
I can't recommend Stephanie at Prism highly enough! I've seen her every once in a while for sports injuries or one-off issues over the last few years and she's so so good at diagnosing the problem and treating it with a combination of manual therapy and exercises. Stephanie is kind, attentive and warm and it's always nice to come in. Not all physical therapy is made the same; I must have worked with a dozen PTs over the years and Stephanie is undoubtedly one of the good ones.
Stephanie is absolutely fantastic. She restored mobility to my shoulder in just a few weeks. She diagnosed the problem immediately and was extremely effective in fixing it. She gave me exercises to practice at home, which were very helpful too. Not only she is an outstanding therapist but she is also very caring, compassionate, and flexible. I totally recommend her.
Stephanie is an amazing PT. I’ve been seeing her for a little over a year now and she’s helped me with various injuries. What makes her really stand out is her ability to rehab you through Pilates! She makes you feel so comfortable and is so knowledgeable about the movement of the human body! Would highly recommend her to anyone!
Stephanie is a movement genius. Her specialty of using pilates-based physical therapy gives her a unique ability to analyze how the body works. As a physical therapist myself, I always seek out Stephanie for help with my own body! She is kind, patient, caring, compassionate and such a talented PT. Highly recommend!!
Stephanie was friendly, knowledgeable and she made me feel comfortable immediately. After an in-depth interview, Stephanie was able to give me Pilates exercises which ultimately led to great improvement in flexibility and strength. I would definitely go back again. Thanks!
I can't speak highly enough of Stephanie. She's the best PT I've worked with, and there have been many, given the complexity of my conditions. 10/10 recommend the addition of Stephanie into your care team.
Prism is great! Stephanie is so knowledgeable, listens to you, is super fun and easy to work with, and has many tools in her toolbox to help with your physical therapy needs. I can't recommend enough.
Great advice and easy to understand reccomendations. Stephanie is very knowledge driven with results!
