We are a business located on the same street of this company and were highly recommended by our members of the BIA to contact them for help. We hired this company to take a look at our lock because we were unable to lock it from this inside. The technician came, took a look, fixed it, gave us a 15% discount we were super grateful and thankful especially after being closed for 5 months due to covid 19. Total cost ($255.33) After regular daily use we noticed the lock jamming being very difficult to turn. So we called them within a month to come back and take a look assuming it probably needed to be oiled and greased. We also assumed it would be under some type of warranty When the technician came the second time around he took a look at our lock and within 5-10mins comes inside speaking quite loudly, "There is nothing wrong with it, but I still have to charge you." (guests and workers could hear from the back of the shop.) He goes on to demand payment on the spot before even issuing us an invoice. Can you blame us for feeling taken advantage of? They wanted to bill us even though nothing was done. After back and fourth responses with this company pretty much giving push back about why we are we getting billed $220 when nothing was being done. They sent out another technician. We had to adamantly explain something was wrong with it. After he further inspects the lock he determines the outside of the lock has an issue. From what was explained. Visit #1 they changed the inside, Visit #3 they changed the outside. So because it's 2 separate areas of a lock it will not be under warranty. Confusing right? Anyhow we will be paying the second invoice of $220. We get time is money and we wish the lock issue was resolved with the very first visit. We are thankful that our lock is finally fixed and this headache is over. With everything going on, especially with small businesses I'm surprised we were met with this type of treatment from our neighbours.

Pro Locksmiths was excellent in its: work quality; technical understanding; responsiveness; as well as professionalism. I originally chose Pro Locksmiths (even though it is located 40 km away) because several other Medeco locksmiths in the Mississauga and Toronto West areas lacked the technical understanding/solutions or they were not responsive. Only Pro Locksmith’s Paul Almeida was able to understand and devise a way to properly fix the failed deadbolt cylinder in my front door’s Medeco Tara handleset (other locksmiths recommended changing the entire handleset to a lower-security alternative product). Paul also installed additional security features, changed the door’s safedoor system, replaced the bottom seals and serviced/adjusted the door. I was so pleased with Paul’s work that I asked him to improve other doors: install Medeco deadbolt; install Emtek Liscio leverset (with an electronic door lock keypad); install additional security features; install safedoor system with strike plate; replace door seals; and service/adjust the door. My wife noticed that the doors and deadbolts now operate in a smoother manner, and they feel like more expensive doors now. From my experience working with technical experts in many big manufacturing companies, I know that Paul is a highly competent locksmith and is also very intelligent at solving such problems. Bottom line, the job was done right and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Pro Locksmiths and I would personally use them again.

The use of the word "pro" in their name is no exaggeration, they are professionals in both what they do and how they deal with customers. This is by far the most competent locksmith company I've ever dealt with and are the only company (out of the seven contacted) that had the exact high security locks I wanted, in-stock and ready for install. Their installer was at my door within two days of me calling, where other companies took a week just to quote, and then estimated it'd be four to six weeks for them to order just the hardware. They ended up spending less time changing the locks than they had originally anticipated and were honest to adjust my final bill without me saying anything. To John and the installer, thank you very much for the flawless experience from start to finish, I will absolutely be returning in the future and will pass the word along. To anyone reading this review, save yourself the headache and give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed - their pricing is very reasonable for the level of service and quality of the products they offer.

I called a locksmith to repair a lock. The technician came in and mentioned that he can cut a little bit of frame and the lock will be all good. I said as long as the lock will be repaired and looks the same as before I am ok with that. As you see in the picture he cut it approximately 2" and after cutting the frame he mentioned that he doesn't know what is going on with the lock and he is not able to repair it. He damaged the door frame. I called locksmiths 100 times and they are not willing to repair the damage that is caused by their technician. I have a tenant living at the place and they are not able to lock the door. This is a big safety concern to my tenant, I am writing this review if something happen to my tenant locksmith will be responsible for.

Excellent service but most of all really good advice and explanation of how locks work. I like to learn what I didn't know. As a homeowner that is big advantage. Spencer was terrific tech to advise on best security options. Spencer was also very friendly and I was really glad to make his acquaintance. Great young man .... enjoyed his company really and he knew what he was doing. Hope I gave him some suggestions for special present for his beloved girlfriend . I’ve used Pro Locksmiths for 22 years, and always received excellent quality and incredible service. This week our condo group required a new lock and several keys on one of our main doors. Everyone at Pro Locksmiths was kind, friendly, and professional. The technician came on time, was very kind, and extremely efficient. He answered all my questions, and explained each step. They all went far above and beyond my expectations. I will remain a loyal customer, and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

John was extremely helpful, courteous, and rapidly responded to my need to have my door handle repaired. He provided options that he had in-stock as well as offering options that would need to be ordered. The installer was courteous and prompt, arriving as promised and did a superb job of replacing the handle with one that functions the way it's supposed to. The finished product perfectly ties in with the look and feel of the front door. I was very pleased with the exceptional service and proficiency of Pro Locksmiths.

Went into their shop this morning to have a key made, after attempting to having the key replicated unsuccessfully at three other locations. I place the key on the counter and without picking it up or touching it, they said, "I am sorry but it is an import key". To me it looked like any other lock key but they knew instantly that the key could not be copied. I appreciated their honesty and more importantly I appreciated the advice they gave me on what to do as a replacement as to what the key belonged to.

Used this company for my workplace. They overcharged for hardware and never fixed the original issue but then charged again to come fix it. So their work is not only shoddy but not even warranted. Had another locksmith come in who was able to fix the issue right away and was also shocked as to how much they charged for hardware (a door handle). We now use the locksmith who charged much less and does far superior work. I would not recommend this locksmith for business or personal use. Ever.

I had an outstanding customer experience with Pro Locksmiths. The showroom was nicely done and the assistance I got was excellent. When I purchased my new hardware Pro Lock was extremely responsive to emails when I had any questions. When the service tech came out he did an excellent job installing all new handle set in our house. It's not very often that you need the services of a locksmith but without a doubt when the time comes again I will be looking for Pro Locksmiths.

I rarely write reviews but today, I had no choice. Pro Locksmiths have set a very high standard for other locksmiths to meet. Their response time was immediate, They were professional, extremely capable and very personable! Special thanks to Paul who fixed our lock after an attempted break-in and to John who kept me calm while on the phone. Back door lock was broken. call one company SureLock. Sent them some pics. The person asked me to do this and that, totally insane for someone who has no idea about locks. Asked me to get replacement parts from USA and then call him! said my lock was unique and hard to get parts Anyhow, called ProLock. John answered. Sent a gentleman in, replaced the parts and fixed the door all in few hours. 5*. Next time i wont bother calling other locksmith

Definitely would NOT recommend. They would not issue a refund for $8.48 for a key they cut that did not work. Yes they stated that there was no guarantee that the key would work, but they did not state they would not refund if it did not. Small corner stores, Home Depot, Canadian Tire etc. happily give refunds if the keys they cut do not work. So now I am out the money and still do not have a functioning key. Very bad customer service.

Outstanding service from Paul in the store to Bruce making the service call for our broken door lock. Paul was friendly, understanding and knowledgeable of the issue and most helpful in organizing our service call. Bruce arrived on time for the appointment and he was also friendly and throughly professional. He made our repairs to my complete satisfaction. i accidently locked my keys in my trunk while grocery shopping. i called caa but they couldn't help and directed me to this locksmith. i was told they were only 20mins away and will be there shortly. unless you have no other option, do not go to them. I had to wait over an hour after i spoke to the receptionist for the guy to come. and on top of that he charged me $209 for a job that literally took him 5mins to do.

I needed to call a Locksmith a few weeks ago to replace all the door hardware in my home and garage. I choose a Medeco system. I called Pro Locksmith and they were extremely knowledgeable about the products I wanted. I scheduled a house call. The attendant arrived on time and installed everything seamlessly. They were friendly fast and knew exactly what needed to be done. I highly recommend them.

I accidentally got locked out of my house with my 2 year old on a very cold day. I called Pro Locksmiths and they showed up ready to tackle my dilemma within 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the locksmiths professionalism and care for my property. It wasn't an easy job but he was able to get us back into the warmth of our home with no damage done to my door!

I have a thick old wooden door which has been difficult to service and Pro Locksmith's did a terrific job in fixing a disabled latch. The door opens and locks more easily than it has in recent memory. Very disappointed in service! Had repair guy come charged over $200 for 10 min of time and still didn't fix our multipoint lock. All he did was lubricate the points on the door. Spoke to them about the charge but wouldn't change as I understand a charge for coming out but to charge $104 to lubricate the multipoint and the door still doesn't lock properly! :(

I've used them for years and have master-keyed my rental properties with them. A break in at one of my rental properties was foiled because of the additional security measures (a reinforced deadbolt) they suggested. Meanwhile, four of my neighbours did get their front doors kicked in. I highly recommend them and their advice to my own clients.

Amazing service once again. They spent 10ins unseizing my door lock and didn't even charge me. Last time I was here after my set of keys stolen, I had to have all my locks re-keyed and new keys cut. They efficiently did it 20 mins for 3 locks and 4 sets of keys for a very reasonable price.

$252 plus tax to open my door? The other lock smith that referred you because they were too busy charge $125 plus tax. I called a third guy that is $95 plus tax. I am then product pushed over the phone being told I most likely will need a replacement yet nobody has even viewed the lock.

We experienced a failure in the paddle device at our building's entrance door. Paul stopped by within 60 minutes from my phone call with a new paddle and repaired the door perfectly. I am convinced you could do a lot worse than to call Pro Locksmiths. Thanks for a job well-done!

watch out! Bought a lock from them 18 months ago and no longer working, tried to sell me $350 fix, told them I thought it was still under warranty and they said no. Checked with manufacturer and lock still had 2 years of warranty gave me new one for free!!!
