I viewed a few cars here I was interested in. I would find it hard to buy from alot of other crooks in Dublin who sell cars in the area I like to call the axis of evil, Over the South Side with the scam artists who remind me of Danny Devito In Matilda. I had heard excellent things about this garage and have friends who have purchased from here over the years and could not fault it, So with this in mind I had a look at some of there cars and had test drives. The older gentleman (which is what he is a nice man) was very obliging and polite. It's Cathal that works here that I could not take to. Pushy little sales tatics from him and I had heard so many good stories about the garage as relaxed, being ruined by this little man. Such a shame, you have a garage run perfectly with no bad reviews of any kind and then you have the up and coming egos wanting to act the Wolf of Wall Street on the length of a warranty by a month! A deal was already made for a car when this little guy tried to counter it and get me to put a deposit down on a car immediately by pressure sales tatics. I was already informed of the price and warranty duration and in spite of this he tried to make it sound as if I was being done a favour! By no means would I discourage anyone to buy from here as I have heard how good they are with warranties and the standards of the cars they sell. Just deal with the real men of the business. For this reason they lost my custom. Left a bad taste.

I was buying my first car last year and Phillip showed me a lot of different types of cars to really get a feel of what I wanted. Throughout it Phillip was suggesting certain cars to suit me and I eventually went for a Renault Megane. I am delighted with my choice and really grateful for Phillips advice and knowledge throughout. A year on and I just this morning I passed my nct with no issues and without putting any money into the car for the entire year. Prospect motors are there to help a customer choose the perfect car to suit them and give Great value for money without any pressure at all. Thanks so much to Phillip and all the lads for making the whole experience simple without the usual pushy salesman approach. Put simply they want the best for the customer which is exactly what you want when making a big decision. So happy with my choice I won’t be trading anytime soon but when I do I will be going straight back to prospect motors. 5 stars!!

If I could give 10 star to this car firm I would. I was in a real bind to buy a great car for my sister ( a nurse, immediately) I did within 24 hours of A Nissan Note appearing on their website. It was exactly for the budget I had. I checked it out, and Cahal looked over it with me. Immaculate both inside and out. Engine perfect. It was a diesel perfect, and lastly it had been fully serviced. I had it delivered within a couple of days purchase and being NCTd. My sister was in shock, loved it. Since driving has constantly referred to the car as 'Perfect' Before and after the guys here looked after us in a situation the needed car home to my sister in Carlingford to continue work immediately. It was NCTd and got a long one also. That is how amazing the purchase was. Truly, if I could give 10 stars I would, they deserve it, honest, reliable and I can see why they are in business 30 years. They provided amazing service and are very trustworthy. Their decades of reputation are not just for show. Bought a car here recently, and was really happy with the experience. The car was very nicely prepared for sale, the timing belt was done and the battery was replaced. The few other queries and concerns we had were fully addressed very promptly and professionally. A couple of weeks after purchase, it became clear that there was an issue with the clutch, and when we brought the car in, they had it looked at and agreed to replace it with no quibbles at all. That's first class after sales in my book - so refreshing, and beyond my expectations. Cathal and Philip were a pleasure to deal with, and when the time comes to replace my car, Prospect Motors be my first port of call. Highly recommended.

Not impressed. Bought a car over a year an a half ago. Over priced in my opinion. AC didn't work. No clear history of the service they've done before to sell. After purchase i noticed that something was wrong with the transmission. But I couldn't notice it as problem would appear only when you reach 100kmh. And just serviced the car and ended up with 1200€ of repair. Of course I expect a 10 yo car to need maintenance but for the price I bought the car I would not expect this kind of trouble. Some things are highly related to safety and that should n°1 priority for a garage. I trusted blindly because it was a garage but I'm not sure that it was a good deal for me. Maybe just adb luck.

I was stranded by the side of the road, just up from Prospect Motors with a puncture in the rain on a Bank Holiday Sunday. I could not get the wheel off as one of the lug nuts’ thread was gone. I rang two mobile tyre repairs but neither would come so I was trying to get the tyre off for about an hour. Cathal must have seen me struggling, not sure where from because the shop looked closed but he came to my rescue and managed to get the wheel off. Thank you Cathal for helping me get the wheel off and allowing me to get home. I am really grateful. Brian

Bought my car from here and have had nothing but problems for starters it was sold with a flat tyre pumped up. 2 thredless front tyres which in my opinion was illegal my bad for not noticing it at the time I was told the car was fully serviced which it wasnt brake pads needed to be done after 1 month fuel filter starting motor and now clutch flywheel and slave cylinder the car was advertised that the clutch was recently done I'd never go near this place again I've the evidence and you will be hearing from my solicitor real soon.

He gave me a very fair deal for trading in my own car and made sure my new car was in tip top shape before I drove it out of the dealership. A service was done on the car along with two years NCT.
