I used this company for a few years under what I think was a previous ownership. I found the red headed guy very honest and helpful. However, more recently they sold me a new radiator which developed a leak within the two year warranty period. Because it was the newest part of the car, and expensive, I assumed the bubbling in the well was just a hose and refilled it as necessary, until I had it checked at a separate mechanic. He found a hole in the radiator, which by now was just out of warranty. Unfortunately this means I have to bear the cost. The radiator Pulse provided broke within the two year warranty period, which Pulse grudgingly believe. After some arguing, they offered to install a new radiator for $50 off, plus a discount on labour and even coolant. But given I already paid them over $800 and the result, I would rather deal with a different mechanic. Pulse are perfectly happy with that. While I see their point about the radiator being out of warranty, I bought the one that failed within warranty from them. I would not recommend using them. For obvious reasons. Our disagreement has demonstrated that they put their interests ahead of mine. And I'm not prepared to endorse that with another $600+ dollars for the same job. Experience warns me against buying an identical radiator from them.

Recently I took my 86 year old mother-in-law to have her car serviced at Pulse Auto. I was impressed with the level of hygiene standards that the Pulse team have implemented. Not only was the car washed but they sanitised the interior of her car as well, steering wheel and door handles. They also provided contactless payment options and gave us our car key back sanitised and in a zip lock bag. We were also informed that they now provide a car pick-up and drop-off service for local residents and that invoices can be sent via email or to your mobile and that payments can be done over the phone via credit card or EFT. Well done Pulse Auto in difficult times your team and initiative should be commended!

I chose to use Pulse this time as they were quite a bit more convenient to reach than my usual place and just a regular service was needed. Happy enough with the staff and service until I reviewed the invoice at home and realised I'd been charged basically double RRP, price per litre, for the engine oil used. I even checked that specific brand and viscosity with a few different retailers to be sure. When I called to query it the only explanation I got was "No, there's no mistake.". No justification. No placation. Oh well, they had their chance. I wish them all the best and won't be going back.

Was really happy with my 90,000km service at Pulse. The mechanics there are very informative. My mechanic Paul rang and explained what needed to be repaired on my car and gave me several options- explaining different prices and how long my brakes and battery would last and organised new tyres for my car. In the past I have been to other mechanics who just 'tell' you what they have to do, so being given options was refreshing and great as I could make more informed decisions. I would highly recommend Pulse as they service all cars!

Charged me $3000 for an engine change they quoted at $800! Installed parts without my authorisation. Did not even put the proper oil in even though the car had the correct grade stamped on the filler and the under bonnet! The oil filter was not even done up it came off freely in my hand when I checked it. The job was an engine swap. They then sold my engine to a scrapper and destroyed $3000 of valuable parts such as a brand new turbo charger. Poor is not a low enough rating for these guys. Avoid them as much as you possibly can.

Bernie & the team have gone out of their way for me numerous times. Cannot fault them on their service or quality. Fixing/servicing my cars and my families cars for a few years they’ve become the only option now for our auto work. They’ve proven compassionate, respectful and, extremely hard workers, perhaps when I didn’t deserve it, (dropping the car off at 11am and still getting it back the very same night) Also afterpay available which is great. Cannot recommend them highly enough. GO HERE!

Took my car to Pulse for the first time for a basic service. They did the service and let me know what needed to be done without pressuring me to do so. The biggest surprise was that my car was absolutely filthy and when I picked it up the car was washed, rims cleaned and tyre blacked. I couldn't believe it. I will be going back to have the rest of the work done for sure. Keep up the good work Bernie and co. you have won a new customer.

Very pleased with the professional and friendly service I received at Pulse Automotive. My car was initially taken in for a service and I received a call during the day from the mechanic advising me that my brakes were dangerously low. I went ahead with this extra work on my car and it was fitted in and completed on the same day. Excellent timely service. Highly recommend.

My drivers side window was playing up and wouldnt go back down. They fixed the problem straight away at a price which i thought was resoanable. Excellent service with great communication, which is something that I have previously had issues with at other mechanics. Highly recommended, will defiantly be going back for future servicing.

took my santa fe in there today they had it for the day worked out what was wrong but due to them not having proper equipment referred me to a company that had the right equipment on site. A very honest, upfront company to deal with i will be returning in future and i highly recommend pulse automotive.

These guys have been servicing my cars for 15+ years. Never had a negative experience with them. One of my Subarus had a timer belt issue which required the engine to be taken apart and rebuilt 3 times. They only charged me for the first.

Went in with a stalling fault, they looked at the car straight away, found the fault & quoted. Car was repaired on the same day even though they were clearly quite busy. Pick up, price was as quoted & problem fixed. Very good experience.
