My friend and I went here. We were so excited after seeing the hype from social media. We get in (did not look like the pictures at all) and order our drinks. We both said we liked fruity, we were reccomended the aquamarine because it's coconuty. I personally didn't like it, and we both agreed it did not taste like coconut. The bartender offered to remake it. Cool. Until I saw the guy (from the main pictures when you google the place) TAKE MY STRAW AND LICK THE DRINK FROM IT. HOW DISGUSTING!! Grossed me out so bad. Would not reccomend going here. Overpriced and overhyped. So misleading from the social media posts. Shout out to your content creator, they're cleary great at lying. EDIT: I understand what a straw test is, I've worked in the restaurant business before. If you read my complaint correctly, I was complaining about the sanitary portion of it. I know what I saw, which was him taking MY straw and licking the bottom of it!! Yes I'm trusting someone, whose job is about flavor, you think they would know how to make it in the first place though. That being said, wouldn't you be weary of taking someones straw, if they can't taste the "main" flavor. A common symptom of covid is loosing smell and taste. So again, it's about the sanitary precautions that were NOT taken. "Behoove" and "silly & wrong". HA. Paying someone to response with churlish attitude, four months later. What an embarassment, and another point proven.

Holy hot damn there's some tasty drinks here. This is one of those crazy boutique cocktail type of bars. That really gets deep into the world of flavors and unique experiences all contained within a glass. I think if you're looking to try something new and not just go to any old bar then I really think you should try Quartz. I think they do a brilliant job of taking all of these unique flavors and putting it into a cocktail. I don't drink anymore but I had one of their mocktails and it was fantastic. I think each drink has been tried and tested time and time again in order to really lock in the flavors. It is a bit more on the pricey side, but I think if you're looking to go out and have an experience and not just drink any old thing, then definitely take this place into your consideration.

A really special place. The front of the place looks like your average bar downtown, but the back which requires a reservation is absolutely breath taking. The cocktails are all unique and fun. Each one is themed, and comes with various accoutrements - and without spoiling the surprise, I can highly and hilariously recommend the tomb of the fizzy kitty. However, all the cocktails are really wonderful and fun. The atmosphere is excellent and great for a date or a party. My ONLY qualm was the slightly disorganized service, which recovered quickly. We were taken back about 10 mins after our reservation was supposed to start, but besides that - excellent service. Fun place. A must visit in Phoenix for locals, and a great place for those passing through as well.

We came through at the start of a Saturday night. I enjoyed the lights and cool atmosphere, both in the front and in the cave. The drinks were very creative but I will say maybe a little too much so. We tried a few of them off the menu and most of them were too extreme on the different flavor profiles. One drink was way too bitter, one was too boozy, and the other was too sugary. But seeing as we went at a time of day where it wasn't bustling with people, there's always a chance that we had a new bartender so we will give it another try and I'll update this review the next time I come through. Edit: I'm a little confused by the owners response on this one. I did explain why it isn't a 5. The drinks were not balanced.

I cannot recommend this place enough. From start to finish this place has really nailed the “wow factor”. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes: Good service, Strong drinks, Aesthetic design. This spot has every single one of them. If you’re looking for a quick, cheap drink this isn’t the vibe. But for a nice evening date night, or night out with friends, this is a great spot. Drinks were all about $15-20 and are just as unique as they are tasty. And very picture worthy. Our server was fabulous and extremely helpful with all of our questions. DEFINITELY make the reservation for “The Cave Experience” as that is the best part! We will definitely be back soon.

Went out for a Girls Night at Quartz and had a wonderful time ! A couple of us got there early and tried their birthstone inspired drinks. We didn’t get our birthstone for a drink, but we ended up trying Dripping Diamonds, Garnet, & Sapphire which tasted DELICIOUS ! Then we went into The Cave- walking back there it’s so pretty first of all!! And we all were equally impressed with the taste & presentation of the drinks in the back! They even have non-alcoholic options which were just as yummy & beautiful in presentation. It was such a fun night all together and the staff had all the good vibes going, it was such a fun atmosphere. Definitely will have to go back to try more drinks !!

For fun and yummy speciality cocktails this is the spot. Cool Asthetic although a tad dark. Drinks were amazing and so fun. I didn't try one or see one I didn't like. They make them look unquie and memorable. The back glass room was also very cool touch. Service was great and everyone was super friendly. My biggest complaint was we went on a Sunday night and they had a dj. At first it was at a reasonable level and just some strange background noise really, so my friend and I could still chat comfortably. Then they decided to turn up the music blasting out ANY ability to hear or talk with super odd and loud music.

Our large group managed to get reservations for The Cave and we may have been the most obnoxious party all night (ever?). All of the mixologists were so helpful and accommodating. We wound up getting one of each of the specialty cocktails (and two of some) as well as a few of our favorites from their standard menu. Don't sleep on the Abracadabra Daiquiri (which should be renamed the Abracadaiquiri) or The Humble Hands. Also honorable mentions for the Souk Sazerac (pictured) and the Life in Pink. They also have delicious NA beverages for your friends and DDs that may he abstaining.

The drinks here were lovely, and very well thought out. We loved how the bartenders came out with a rolling bar cart for each round, and added garnishes and explained drinks at the table. All of the cocktails were tasty and unique. The ambiance was very nice and upscale. Great place for a date night. I thought their theme was a little muddled with it being named after a gem, but the drinks being inspired by different deserts. For a new bar, that's a very minor criticism.

What a fantastic concept of two bars in the same location. There’s a ‘cave’ in the back of the bar area where it’s super instagrammable mirrored and bright with rotating rock/jewels on the TV screen above your booth. The ‘cave’ has a separate drink menu that is inaccessible in the front bar. The ‘cave’ recommends reservations, especially on weekends. The drinks are super fun and are made with unique, complex ingredients.

Delicious drinks, knowledgeable bartenders, and unique, international ingredients make this bar not only impressive, but also a fun way to experience flavors from around the world! The smoky (and showy) Turquoise Dilemma cocktail was my favorite, with a strong and sweet kick that gave a sexy spin on my usual Old Fashioned go-to. Each drink comes with beautiful decor reminiscent of the "vibe" of each sign(s)/month associated with it. I look forward to the opening of "The Cave," a lounge counterpart to this bar with a completely different menu!
Great place! Excellent service and the Cave is awesome! Highly recommend making a reservation for the Cave. I believe the cave experience has a different set of cocktails than the regular bar area but you can also order from the regular menu as well. The drinks and presentation are all picturesque. For the cocktails I ordered the Polar Puppy, dream time, and the tomb of the fizzy kitty which out of those my favorite was the Polar Puppy. Very nice staff and great customer service. Overall great experience.
If you're up for trying new things go here! If you're even thinking about it, come here. We came here for a nightcap on our wedding night and it was a great choice. A group of 5 of us got sat in their "cave" area that had all these fun and funky drinks to try; and we did! The music, drinks and atmosphere were all such a great vibe. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Our waitress was amazing as well!!

The drinks are so pretty and I loved the gem concept for the drink menu. I really loved the Diamond and Amethyst drinks. I'm an introvert so being in crowded, really loud spaces makes me uncomfortable but here it was cozy and laid back. I would love to go back soon.

The Cocktails are not only beautiful but delicious. We sat in the front part at the bar and were got great service from Valentne. He went above and beyond to explain the liqueur and ingredients in the cocktails we I quoted about and even gave us late night food recommendations in the area. Everyone else was friendly too. The seating area behind the bar is beautifully glam! Pink. Loved it will be back

Had a great time checking out The Cave at Quartz! The atmosphere and ambience are pretty great and the service was impeccable! I tried the Souk Sazeraz and the Life in Pink while my friend tried the Tomb of the Fuzzy Kitty and Abricadabra Daiquiri! They were all pretty amazing, and the presentation was on point! We will definitely be back to try a few more of the cocktails on the menu!

1) ordered a dirty martini 2) tasted it and realized that drink was made with olive OIL instead of olive juice 3) sat and waited for husband to finish his drink while olive oil separated and coagulated on the top of my untouched drink 4) paid $19 plus tip This made me so sad because the bartender knew he made that drink with oil and that it was disgusting and never checked back about it. Just shamelessly dropped the bill next to my full drink
Remember that feeling of tasting Filet mignon for the first time? The Anahata Emerald gave me that "Ratatouille moment" of emotions on every sip. Cool bartenders and wonderful vibe... they have a pallet and deep understanding of their craft!

It's downtown, planning ahead definitely helps.
Is a beautiful bar. The ambience is really great. However, it says that there are bites on the door, but there really isn’t. Just a Chex mix and olives. It is a terrible combo. Apparently you are supposed to get reservations, but there’s no where that says that. The drinks are really good, but definitely overpriced. It is a shame, because it is so beautiful inside.

They do not have food here so make sure you eat beforehand. The cocktails and atmosphere in the cave are so fun and whimsical. Some drinks are stronger than others so order wisely. The only criticism I have is that they keep the cave very cold

Hidden gem and a must check out place. Def make the reservation for a booth behind the bar, cocktails are very interesting and it won't be you're usual drinks but the menu, the art work, and presentation are all well thought out. The black kitty drink was my favorite They even started us with two small drinks …
This cocktail bar deserves a chefs kiss! I ordered the ruby, perfectly balanced. The spice of the cocktail was accompanied by a sweet garnish! To the people that crafted this treat.. thank you! My first experience was perfection!
