Today i was there for print out in computer department. Two guy was watching phone on lab desk. There was no ID with me, i show them phone barcode but they not allow me to seat in computer. They are racist to South Asian, i know before they allow white & Black people even they dont bring ID Card. In New York brown are neglected always.
One of the ladies in the Teen section was extremely helpful when I asked her where was the mermaid fantasy books. She looked on her Kindle to give me reccomendations and when she couldn't find it on that, she got up and hand picked out so many books for me to choose. Then even offered to give me more if I didn't like the ones she gave.

Also queens library has great programs in the branches
Many past users of the library were very disappointed at the closing of the library because of COVID although it was very necessary. Today the picture has changed as the library has reopened and things are pretty much back to normal apart from us still needing to wear masks which is good for all.
Has lots of books but there is a lack in some genres. The staff are really friendly and now (currently April,2022) they have a no time limit returning for borrowed books which is excellent. They also have a lot of board games so bringing your friends to play board games is a really fun option.
I went to I DNYC today. There was a staff member from China who was wearing a blue sweater and could speak Mandarin. She was very unfriendly and impatient. When I asked more questions, she rolled her eyes and pretended to leave and ignored me. I was shocked and sad about this
Today was the second time I went to the main library, coming from Parsons Blvd, after almost three years since the COVID-19 pandemic. The friendly staff remembered me and welcomed me back. I think I'll start coming back to this library regularly like I used to before COVID.
I am happy the library is back open. I wanted to use the computer but another patron was talking to himself and very agitated, so eventually I just packed up and left. There are too many events going on here that it does not feel like a library anymore.
Today I went there for IDNYC card at 14.30 p.m. and the lady who was taking care of IDNYC was super rude and not helpful at all. There was two people before me and she didn't care at all, she was constantly chatting with them while she sees
One of my favorite places to visit! If you need to get a document printed - you have option to do that! You want to study for an civil exam - you could find helpful resources for that. You need info on things like Neutralization or you need
I honestly don't like this library. Most of the workers and staffs here are very rude and unfriendly, less people, and low quality service. There's nothing to do here but to just study. There's too many strict policy, rules, and regulations
I’ve been coming here for 4 years now to study for school and exams. I love this place. It’s spacious and quiet (duh!) and a great place to study. I haven’t seen any homeless individuals, but if there is - so what?! Everyone is welcomed in
On 8/25 and walked up to the checkout counter at about 5.30pm. While looking for the self checkout machine, a librarian behind the desk glared at me and exclaimed, "whose this guy coming at the last minute! UGH!" I looked at the librarian
The staff at this library are Extremely Rude. There was a black female security guard who has no manners and is very rude. I recently have been traveling alot and havent gotten much sleep. I came to the library on Saturday in a quiet area
I love the Central Library because it's where I go to get books for free. The library itself is a jewel. The facility is nice, clean and welcoming. I always see the staff helping people. There are plenty of computers here and laptops are
To many folks( also homeless), just using the library as a place to just "pass" the day. Some were speaking load( even playing music). One of these individuals was even escorted out of the building by a security personnel ( thumbs up to
I LOVE that this Library features an abundance of activities for the overall family. In addition it has several cultural events year round for the various ethnic groups it services. It's always clean and the staff is very helpful! There
Great place to get homework done, watch great movies on certain days and also to bring the kids. Lots of exciting and interesting books to read of all genres and for different age groups. I borrow movies from the media center all of the
The Saturday visiting is great for families many activities especially a week before spring ,I join the beginner yoga class at teen space this class will prolonged for four sessions thru out March great class ,Camille Rick's is amazing
Queens Central Library is a horrible place. The staff in the Cyber Center treat customers horrible, they tell untrue story. There is a grown African American woman there in the Cyber Center, she is horrible, she bullies the other staff
The security guards are very intrusive, always trying to look over my shoulder when I'm using my phone. I am always entitled to privacy on my own personal device. Also, while some particularly problematic homeless people do come here
The Queens Central Library is a great place to relax and find amazing selections of books and other tools. It's very organized and tidy with very nice and polite staff that will help out when you are looking for something. There is a
Yesterday, I went to the IDNYC Enrollment Center located inside this library. Big mistake on my part. I would advise others to avoid doing the same because the staff here generally tends to be excessively rude, obnoxious, combative,
Always great and very accommodating. Blanca helped me to put the final touches on my resume, she had some brilliant ideas. This will help my resume to stand out even more. She was so patient, friendly and courteous. She was just so
Very friendly staff. A great collection of books, cds, movies and video games too! Very cool temperature nice to relax and read while trying to avoid the summer heat. Always love visiting
I hope more people take advantage of the bright, clean, modern, spacious library. The QPL has so much to offer. Sign up and get your library card. Get the kids interested as well!!
They Liberian need to tell parents to keep the kids quite. Today at the library was very very noisy, I couldn't even get to study properly. I come home with terrible headache.
Had to return my books but they were all really nice on letting me bring my esa/service animal in training. He behaved and no one bothered us or him. Everyone was really kind.
I love this library. It's well organized and up to date with the way its structured. The staff is friendly. They have good organized space for kids, teens and adults.
Too many homeless people using the library as an outlet for shelter and safe space. There’s resources out there for them. Use it.
There was a concert in the basement. It was properly arranged and well organized. This library is bog and has many services.
My favorite place to be. Great service, awesome staff. Thank you QPL for everything you’ve given to our community.
Still filled with a world of important information right at your fingertips in a comfortable and quiet setting!!
Chill place where you're able to get your work done and where employees have no problem assisting you.
Wonderful place for Reading hobby people. You can not go wrong to visit this place.
Queens libraries don't give guests passes to use the computers, ridiculous …
The staff is friendly and helpful and the library is huge, clean and bright!
I love this library, the Staff is very nice, helpful and professional.
Security was helpful but I didn't get to go inside soooo stay tuned?
