I really like Lowes at Kenaston which is very close to my house and I had many many excellent experiences there till today. My today experience was something terrible and brought me a bad headache. I bought 12 plants from the store and after paying for them I doubt on the final price which was a bit higher than I was calculated in my mind before reaching to the cashier. I found that the plants that were in clearance for just 99 cent were cost me 3.99 $ each. So, I turned back to the customer service and told her that they are 99 cents not 3.99$. She referred me to the manager, and the manager referred me to the guy who was responsible for the gardening plants. He took the picture of the price back there and we came back to the manager inside the store. The angry manager didn’t believed me because that guy didn’t take a picture from all the price tags and the code was different. I was tired of long time spending there going front to back, back to front. Me and the guy returned back I showed the right price tag to him to take the picture of it, but he was spending a long time back there watching the tag. I had no other choice to take a photo myself and get back to the customer service for the third time. The other woman after 10 minutes and after going again back and taking the tag itself and bringing to the customer service and triple checking with the manager accepted my claim and returned my extra charge back without saying even a simple sorry or sorry for taking your time for half an hour, and the manager was eating me with her eyes like I am the guilty one here. I left the store and loaded my car and I got back to store to buy grass seeds and fertilizer and top soil, but this time I was afraid of the prices and I took picture of all the items to save the time just in case if there are problems with their prices as well. I reached the cashier which was a boy and after scanning all the items he asked me if I have an Airmiles or not. I said I don’t have an Airmiles, and I got ready to pay with my credit card. Suddenly, he brought some black and white cards in front of me and said choose one. I said I don’t want the Airmiles. He said just choose. I said what is these. He said for saving. I said what do you mean it is my first time seeing these cards. He said choose one for saving. I chose one and he said now scratch it. It was a 15% saving. I was happy and I thought what a good surprise after all those troubles. He said your total is 135 something dollars. I said you just said you are saving, but it is about twice price of my items. It should be 70 something. He was confused, and his colleage that heard it told him that he should clear the device because she has entered something before he got to the device. So, the boy said sorry and fixed the price. At that moment I felt zero trust to your store. I paid my shoppings without saving that 15% because it was less than 100 and left the store. I still feel zero trust to your employees.

Buyer Beware.....they do not honor price match...no guarantees...with lots of hassle!!! We were out shopping for a dishwasher around the Kenaston area and had done some comparison pricing. We went to a few different stores and had narrowed down to what we wanted for a dishwasher. It was a great weekend to go out as the stores we went too had appliances on sale. There was a dishwasher that we found at Lowe's priced at $695. They also had a promo where they would match any lower prices from other stores and also beat it by 10% as well and hassle free. All we had to do was show them the sale price and picture of the other advertised price. We had gone to another store and found the exact same brand and same model for and LG brand even a lower price at $625.04....even better. Since we saw that Lowe's had advertised price match guarantee and plus additional 10% and hassle free...this is what their sign showed and we had confirmed with the sales associate as well...we went to Lowe's instead....They however did not honor it after we came back with the advertised price from the other store. They gave us every excuse possible of not price matching it. They said hassle free of what was advertised...this is false advertising and it was a hassle to go thru the whole ordeal with the sales associate and the manager we talked too. Lowe's as a consumer I am not impressed with how you can advertise price match and beat it by 10% and hassle free and not honor it. They wouldn't even match the price from the other store even after we showed them the advertised price from the other store This is too bad as we will not be shopping at Lowe's ever again. You shouldn't be advertising this if you are not going to honor what you advertised..Perhaps that's just a gimmick that you use to create a sense of trust of yes as a consumer you are getting the best deals..... If there was -1 star I would give that rating. I really didnt want to give a 1 star as your store doesn't deserve it. And that the fact that you wouldn't even honor the price .. I'll take my business somewhere else Former Lowe's customer...

Hi I had a very bad experience at lowes at 1799 Kenaston blvd, Winnipeg yesterday afternoon . I picked three carpets from clearance. One had hand written product number on green paper wrapped inside the cling covered from all side and quite visible. When I reached to the cashier the lady entered the number and told me it’s 9.99$ and I was rejoiced. The next minute she called a manager name Brandon to tell that the other carpet don’t have tag on it. However just to confirm price of the first one she told it 10$. And all of a sudden Mr. Brandon realized that I am a lady in a visible minority covering my head and he put all his energy to make sure that I shouldn’t buy that in this price. May be he decided to buy it. He took out original purchase or tag priced paper from inside the carpet which was actually not visible and not even bar code showing the original price. And he told the cashier and other person from carpet area that no it’s 150$ original price and we will not sell this in 10$. Despite I was talking and telling that it’s customer right in Canada that whatever price is shown and scanned in your cashier counter you should sell me in that. But he simple ignored and told his staff that I’m leaving for hair cutting. You mean just ignoring what a customer saying and asking. I’m a Canadian and I k ow how other stores deal with customer services in these situations. If that will be Home Depot or Walmart I can buy that in the mentioned price which was coming in entering the number. And afterwards the lady sent that carpet back to carpet area and other member just hid the carpet somewhere and despite I was asking to bring it back nobody listened to me. Ridiculous! A very disappointing incidence that left me feel that equity doesn’t exist in every area of Canada. If it’s a white customer instead of me situation might have bees different. I hope you would be able to take any action in this regard. Dr. Naveen

BEWARE: Lowes staff wasted hours of my time, and never delivered my large order. First, Haydn sent me running around the store to find items that had been moved. Which turned out to be unavailable, anyway. He couldn't be bothered to look up inventory, so I travelled across the entire store twice for no reason. I ordered a large delivery, and was told by Riddeh it would arrive the next day. It never arrived. My call was put on hold for 45 minutes, before the clerk finally contacted a manager, James. Up till then, the clerk would visit the phone occasionally to tell me they're busy. Right. And I'm not. No apology for the waste of time. Riddeh had not entered my delivery. I shouldn't have been surprised when the night before, she didn't have the intelligence to get a dolly to carry two trees. Giggling and flipping her hair, like I'm supposed to find that cute. James did not even apologize. I asked how Lowes would compensate for stealing my day off. He stated in a robotic voice, "We. Do not. Compensate. For time." I had to again visit Lowes to cancel the order, as they (no surprise) wouldn't do it over the phone. At the store, I told Riddeh she had not put the delivery order through. She got all innocently wide eyed, said she had never seen me before and could not POSSIBLY be responsible. She flipped her pony tail and flounced away. I was helped by the very nice David, but it still took another 30 minutes, with the help of a manager, to track my order and refund me. Lowes is a nightmare. Yes, they have started a new data entry system, but the attitudes of so many staff are inexcusable. Gaslighting narcissists.

We went here to buy a washer and dryer. The first sales person's responses to any of our questions were not helpful. When asked his opinion which washer would he would recommend his reply was "which ever one you like". When asked about quality of various machines his reply was "they are all good". The real problem came at installation. The 2 installers did not know what they were doing. To begin with they were going to walk through the living room with the old ones instead of going out the back door. They did not level the washer until I pointed out how unstable it was. Then they said that they could not install the dryer because the venting hose the sales person sold me was too short, he also forgot to inform me that I needed clamps and an elbow. So I went back to the store to get the right hose, etc. but my only other choice was a 25 ft venting hose. Two days later they installed it. But it was not level and when we looked behind the dryer the 25 ft hose was bunched up in a knot. We re-installed the dryer because the lint would have collected in that knot and would be a fire hazard. So we cut the venting hose to 8 ft and installed the dryer. B.T.W. the first hose brought home was 8 ft. All in all, from the store to installation, our experience with Lowes was horrendous.

I bought Samsung steel doors fridge from Lowe's 1799 Kenaston buld. ( $ 2395 ) on Aug.13, '22, they gave me delivery date Aug.19 but not delivered. I have called continuously to the appliances department ,customer care, even to the store manager but no one received my call since five days. I was so desperate, why they didn't give me any answer or reason for the delay ? Finally my son went to the store and he asked reason. They excused about their system mistake. After that they gave Sept. 3rd for delivery. Same thing again happened.Till Sept. 10th. fridge had not been delivered and no one did phone call to us. Suppose fridge has been delivered to my house but they delivered in to the store, disgusting ! I waited 7days more, but no body call to me . Finally I went third time to the store and I waited 2 hours then store manager came to us and said only sorry for inconvenience. Now he gave me Sept. 17 for delivery. I would say my old fridge was totally down. My frozen stuff and daily fresh vegetables, milk about $400 had been messed up due to store's irresponsibility. Now I have decided that, in future I will never been there for any shopping. No one care about customer. Josh was bit friendly but he was helpless against store system.

Lowe’s would not accept my credit union debit card and was told to come back the next day. The following day my card was still not accepted and was told to forget about using my credit union card. Came back again for the third day and had to pay with cash $4300 for flooring. Jordan in flooring is a complete airhead. I was waiting at contractor desk for 45 minutes for him to bring my flooring, which was wrapped and ready to go for 3 days on the show room floor. I finally just went to flooring and grabbed a pallet jack and brought it up myself. When he had to go back for 25 more boxes he spend a half hour looking for his forklift. When he finally got it off the shelf he decided it was appropriate to have a five minute conversation with his co worker. When I asked him to pick up the pace I was met with attitude and told that I needed to be patient, I guess 3 days is not long enough to wait for an order. Finally, to top it all off. They refused to load the entire order onto my diesel pickup, because it was too heavy, so I had to load it myself. I legally could have handles twice what they loaded. Never going back to this Lowe’s again, clearly a lack of management at this facility and a disrespect for paying customers.

I purchased all new kitchen appliances in September. No updates were received on a potential delivery date after the initial date came and went. Multiple calls to customer service went unreturned and it took me driving in from out of Winnipeg and speaking to the store manager to finally get a delivery date. The fridge was damaged on delivery and the stove drawer wouldn’t close. Initial contact with customer service was fine and was told they would order replacements, however no further updates were received. Again multiple follow up calls were required and new replacements were delivered. However, the replacement fridge was also damaged. A follow up call to the Appliance department in November, along with an email, got another fridge to be ordered for replacement. It’s now March 1, still waiting for the replacement fridge. Two phone calls and an unreturned call from the Appliance manager, and I am still no further ahead. I would suggest going to a competitor for appliances. No customer service, no continuity in who you speak to, and no one appears to take ownership of any problems to help you out. Safe to say I will never purchase any appliances from Lowes again.

I absolutely cannot stand this store! I’ve done one big purchase which was a washer and dryer and had indicated that the door of the dryer had a film on it from the sticker and requested assistance to fix it. They sent someone out to “clean” it and it’s still not As it should be. I’ve followed up and no response. Now I went to order a deck box. Called prior to order to see if they had stock, they did so placed the order. Then I check my emails to see that it’s canceled and they don’t have stock. Called the store the stock items were display. They offered to give me the display item but I had to reorder online which then I wouldn’t be able to use the $10 off so I would have to come into the store and get a refund. They couldn’t process the order the phone for me to avoid the additional hassle at my expense, which I would think should be simple. Every time I’ve purchase from this location it’s been a nightmare. Todd’s a good dude though.

I've shopped there twice, never again. First was in winter to pick up floor mats in winter, advertised in the flyer, when I arrived they were nowhere to be found, staff on the floor were helpful searching but ultimately the store manager said the mats were still in a sea can outside and couldn't get to them; what?! Stopped by in spring for 24"x30" patio blocks, they were buried under another item, asked for the forklift, 3 staff came back, no forklift, 1st question they ask is "would it be easier to come back another day?" Easier than say already being in the store today, give your heads a shake, terrible customer service. Home Depot for life. Part 3 October 2022: Ordered a dryer online Oct.4, chose a dryer with anticipated pickup availability Oct.9 because, when you need a new dryer you generally can't wait. Now Oct.11, no updates on order process. I should have known better. Zero/5 stars....the usual from Lowes.

I recently went shopping here as their website said they had an item I wanted to purchase available in store. It said they had 8 items in stock. Couldn’t find it on the floor and when I found someone they told me the numbers online don’t mean anything and it’s just an arbitrary number. Disappointed in this as I drove halfway across the city, the rep did tell me they had one left in stock at another location. On my way to the other location I decided to stop in at Canadian Tire and they had my item, a better version for the same price. Just wanted to let you know you lost my business because you’re falsely representing your stock online. If you would have appropriately updated your stock I would have went to the other store and purchased the item. We live in a day of technology. You can’t mislead people like that anymore. Good luck!

It's the WORST customer service I ever experienced. The sales person at the appliances department is not helpful at all. There are no information about the specs on the major appliances so that we have to ask about it everytime, and the sales person get impatient over time. At least I found the the specs information on the major appliances is crucial because no one want to buy the appliance that doesn't fit in your home. The staff at the store is awful. The work is slow and not precise. I was told I didn't signed the agreement for the installation because I never been given an agreement to sign. Overall, the customer service here is very poor and the manger of the store seems like he doesn't care about the customer experience. It's because he was impatient and rude over the phone when I was trying to file a complain...

I've never been inside Lowe's but I decide to order curbside. Big, huge mistake....... Arrived at my selected time, called in and waited. Kindly note I was the only car and I was picking up two items. Then a second car came, got their order and left. After 30 minutes I called the curbside number again only to be told we can't find your order. I asked why I wasn't called to be notified...... The response was, we are still looking. 45 minutes and one large favour of can I borrow your truck because Lowe's didn't honour the free delivery promotion and I got my product. The gentleman who brought it out did want to ensure it was the right product. The wrap on the product had a different name on it but the right product was delivered. I hope whoever ordered the same dishwasher gets theirs easier than I did.

Visited this location many times without issue and most recently ordered a curb side pickup due to non-essentials not being available on store shelves. Ordered around 10pm on a Saturday night (they’re closed at this time), received an email 9am the following morning saying the items were ready! I even got a phone call from an employee earlier today (Monday) to remind me that my pickup order was ready. I was blown away, as I waited a solid 5 days for a curb side order with less items at a different but very similar retailer. I called once I arrived and after a couple questions, the items were given to me in minutes. All items that I had ordered, was easy to do on the website too. Seem-less and incredibly helpful! Nice to see the store has adapted and overcome these trying times. Keep up the good work!

Check you get the right product loaded into your vehicle before you drive 1.5 hours home. We purchased a new Samsung washing machine from Kenaston location - sales rep said they had ONE in stock so we left with what we thought was a washing machine. Mind you, it was boxed and taped up we could not see it. We arrive home unpacked the boxing and it was the dryer of same brand. Contacted the store and they gave us a $160 refund which doesn’t even cover the gas to return and exchange the product never mind the hassle of having to drive over an hour one way. The appliance dept manager was easy to deal with and called back as he said he would but the rest of the customer service sucked we just expected more to be done with this slip up. This shouldn’t happen! Lesson learnt!

I went to Lowe's to purchase a new stove and dishwasher. Their website and their own inventory system said they had stock of the units I was going to purchase. They had the dishwasher, but not the stove. Fine, I can get over that. Inventory errors happen. I asked the salesperson if he would match the pricing I got from another store. He told me that he gets paid hourly and not on commission so he didn't care if I purchased the appliances from Lowe's or not. So I didn't. I went to Canadian Appliance Source and purchased both appliances. I don't understand why Lowe's advertises their price match policy when their employees get very offended when I asked them to match another price. Very poor service at Lowe's and I will never go there to purchase another appliance.

Had a very bad experience today in the morning at Kenaston Lowe’s. Customer service person had a racist attitude. We went to order some lumber and there was a 15% off promotion displayed in lumber department. This person said that the price in the system was already 15% off and he looked at us as we were scammers. We purchased the same lumber 2 days ago with the 15% off and he asked us how we got that price making questionable faces as we did some fraud. I’m a regular Lowe’s customer and this guy called Jonathan took away all my respect towards Lowe’s. Really disappointing. May be he might not know that my money is same as another person's although he looked at me in a racist manner by making different faces as if I ruined his day.

Order ashed online was told it was being delivered on the Thursday which was changed tothe Saturday but confirmed for the Saturday. No one showed up and after numerous calls the customer service was put on hold for multiple multiple times with the service. cost for the customer's not getting back to me eventually got service after being put on hold for 2 minutes which lasted 20 minutes and and therefore told that the product never arrived and wasn't was on back order which is a bit strange that I've been told it was going to be delivered on a certain day just 24 hours before very poor service on all angles and a complete waste of my time ask for a full refund which I'm still waiting for

Went to Lowe's last Saturday to check for kitchen backspash. Previously was looking at Home Depot and Rona. Selection was quite limited and from what was available, samples differed from actual supplies. Found over 50 options at Lowe's, many available in the colors I was hoping for. The associate who happened to be in the area, was super helpful. He assisted with choosing the best suitable colors to complement our kitchen, loding the boxes, helping with choosing the grout and cement and bringing it all to the till to compete the transaction. Great experience.

We were looking for corner beads. Took a few minutes to find the right aisle. Couldn't see any signs indicating which aisle to go down. The store employee did point us to the right area after looking for a few minutes. Lots of choices of different materials and types of corner beads. Wide range of prices from $3 to $20 dollars. Found the really wide drywall knife and putty tray in the same aisle. Several choices of drywall knives there. Fast service at the checkout. Friendly staff. We would go there again for home renovation materials.

The first and last time I order from Lowe's!!!! No customer services at all. I paid close to $700 for a fireplace insert. When it was installed it was discovered that the remote control did not work. Lowe's would do nothing. They told me it was my responsibility to contact the manufacture and obtain a new remote from them. This after many emails and I spending an hour with with one of their incompetent customer service representatives as he kept me on the phone looking up email addresses for the fireplace manufacture. NEVER AGAIN.

Placed an order for pick up at the store. After waiting over a day for confirmation, I called to find out how long it wold be and was told it would be AT LEAST THREE more days even though the items were all in stock. I had to cancel the order. By contrast, Home Depot had their in store pickup ready in about 45 minutes. Other big retailers I order from typically take an hour or two while some take a full day...but 4+ days for an in-store pick up?!? It is too bad the local Lowes is not managed well enough to do e-commerce properly.

Used to be a great store now you can tell it's gone to hell. Try to get help lol not happening. The staff can't be brother to help you I came in looking for a bath room exhaust fan drove from the north end to this location. Ask a guy in plumbing for help he turned around and walked away from the cleaner near by saw this and show me where it was. The cleaners are great the staff is quite poor. Ask for a manger up at the front doesn't seem to really care. Was a waste of time coming here. Extremely disappointed.

ABSOLUTELY WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE. Was ready to give them $4000+ on major appliances and after talking to 4 different people, standing in customer service for half hr, staff were 100% not interested in selling laundry/driers at all. Unbelievable service when it couldn't be more important to take care of your sources of income. This is not on the department severs, just on the girl working customer service 2 pm Sat June 20 thanks to you I will never again shop at Lowe's.

Found what I needed right away. Aisles are set up logically. The had a good selection or door handles, which is what I was shopping for on my latest trip. They had all the same styles together in the various configurations, keyed, passage, lock sets. I was able to easily find a sturdy passage handle for our inside entrance door. The could use a few more sales associates in the various departments to assist customers with any questions about products that they may have.

Staff tells me they do not carry the pea gravel I came for. Web site says they have 69 bags of it. That's over 2 and a half tims of pea gravel somewhere. One of two things is going on here. Either the staff is too lazy to look for things, or Lowe's is deliberately telling you they have inventory on items that they don't have, in the hopes that you'll buy something else when you go all the way to their stores. Either way it's pathetic.

I’m from 6.5 hours away. There was a sale on paint which was too good to pass up. Trying to coordinate from out of town is always difficult. Especially with so many options. Brianna was a huge help. Was able to make my paint order (16 gallons of paint) have it ready for me. And honour a sale price after the online order didn’t work properly. Makes a customer experience 100x better when workers put in true effort. Thank you muchly!

Rushed in parking lot by attendant cause he wanted the shopping cart. I told him I would load the product myself. He disrespected my wishes to have him not load. I did not want him touching my car. Plus he moved the shopping cart uncomfortable close. This was after customer service wouldn't match the online lowes offer making me purchase it online. Then they couldn't figure out the order making me wait after close.

Terrible service. Was looking for something in the electrical department. There was three associates standing around taking about There week end plans. I stood there as they continued to ignore me. I then spent more time looking for myself. In that time no less there five associates walked by. When I tried to make eye contact they looked away looked away. away..There was more employees th looked away.

Everything was cleanly laid out, people were pleasant and helpful, I saw one staff member first bump his customer after assuring he was in fact good to good. The plumbing department lady was super helpful as well and seemed to be training her mentor as best she could whilst helping customers like myself. The clean grid format being well lit was very helpful as well. Would recommend.

They haven't updated their systems, so when you see something online and it says that they have it in stock at the store, call them and have them double-check that they actually have it to save you time. For paints, they carry Sico and Valspar. For bulbs - GE Lighting. If you are looking for Philips bulbs like Hue or Wiz, go to Home Depot or Best Buy.

5 stars for mitt at Darrel. My washer broke last minute and had to get one soon. Called the store and talked to Darrel and when the one I was looking for was sold out he founds me one at a comparable price. When coming to the store Mitt assisted us and was so nice and was able to help us out with everything even when his department was so busy!

This company needs to understand what constitutes "Ready for pickup" stated for store inventory on their website. I traveled 20km to find out the part I needed was actually in a container in the back and could not be retrieved. I ended up ordering the part online, and spent the same amount in shipping as I spent in gas to get to the store.

They have excellent customer service. My wife and I purchased a security safe from them and the person who helped us in our purchase was helpful and polite. He put it in a cart for us as it was extremely heavy, and then he offered to help us load it in our car. Lowes prices are good but it's the customer service that keeps me coming back.

Never anyone in this store when i come here. Josh is the only one i see working hard. Everyone else seems to just socialize with them selfs at the front of the store. Came here a few times and struggle with finding help. I feel they have lost my service entirely. As my time is valuable. I dont need to spend walking back and forth.

Good service! On two occasions the price of item at the till was higher than posted in the aisle. Next time I think it would be a good practice to take pictures of the posted prices to show the cashier. The issue was resolved quickly at customer service but it was still a matter of going to customer service to get a refund.

It is a great place to buy anything related to renovations and to upgrade your property, a big selection of appliances. recently we bought stuff for our house at excellent price. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you. The parking lot is also something to mention as a good part of the location.

Bought a lawnmower here. Good price and staff were friendly. Except one young man who was so uninterested in helping us because it was 'not his department'. Lowe’s will always be my go-to store in the city for anything home improvement related! I think the prices are very good compared to their competitors and the store is extremely well organized. Staff are also very helpful and there are many staff members in each section of the store!
