Omg this place is amazing! Definite must try. Found it by chance searching late night hakka and had no idea it was their first day. Before going into the exceptionally tasty food, Malaika, the hostess, is incredible. Super friendly, helpful and just a lovely person. Everything a hostess should be and was helpful with the ordering. Now, the food. We got Butter chicken, chili chicken (with gravy), hakka garlic noodles with chicken and shrimp, a mango lassi and some gulab juman for desert. Total was I think $60 before tax and very reasonable for the portions. The butter chicken is honestly incredible, some of the best ive ever had. It is bursting with flavour, and there is sort of a zestyness to it, i think some lemongrass. My wife and I kept saying wow after each bite, so good. And the chili chicken is honestly one of my favorites I've ever had, and I've had a decent amount. The flavors are just so good, and there are a lot of fresh herbs and spices giving it this irresistible flavor combo. A lot of chili chicken is a little dull and heavy but this one is just phenomenol. I got medium spice and it had quite the kick. The noodles were good, though my least favorite of what we got, but thats more because the butter and chilli chicken were so so good. Wife loved the mango lassy but was hoping for a bit bigger of a size, I think it's 3.99 or 4.99. Desert was lovely. Honestly it's a 10/10 first impression. I'd like to try more of the menu but the butter chicken and chili chicken will be mandatory buys every time. I will be going out of my way to stop here for dinner. If you like Indian food and Hakka, I highly recommend you try it out. It's open late too, which is the only reason I tried it as opposed to my usual hakka spots in Markham/Scarborough and I'm glad I did.

During our recent visit to the restaurant, we had a variety of dishes, including aloo papadi chat, soya chap masala curry, laal mass curry, garlic naan, chicken momos, and peas pulao. Replacing an all you can eat sushi joint is this brilliant place serving up delightful twists on items from the streets of Bombay and Delhi. It is tucked into a quick turn that you could miss if not for the bright orange sign of Popeyes. The hakka Sizzler (chicken/veg) is what you want to try. You can choose 1 kind of gravy 1 kind of hakka rice 1 kind of hakka noodle or leave it up to the chef to surprise you. And make no mistake, surprise you he will. It does come to the table on a sizzling platter so do be careful cz the skillet is quite hot. Also tried the soya Chapli and some roti generously doused in butter. Over all a pleasant surprise all around. A good bang for your buck. They are also open late and have free parking. The host was also very welcoming and accommodating.

I ordered chicken lollipop which was amazing !!! I paid about 19.99$ and got 4 lollipops. Really ? just 4 ??? its not made of gold. Its just chicken lollipop. Then I ordered chicken friend rice – not the greatest fan as there was tomato pieces in the fried rice. Who adds tomates ??? I got tandoori chicken full from here paying 25.99$ - though the taste was good all I got was only boney small pieces. I have had tandoori chicken for a long time from different places but this is pure rip off !! Pretty expensive and for the kind of service I am getting I wont be back!

We were searching for Dinner options and heard from Friends regarding Rowdys. The ambience is very good and colorful. Food portions are big enough for members to share among. We had chicken kabab ,Noodles, Chat , Biriyani, Chicken Lolipop, etc. Since food is very delicious, we later went as a group of 15 people for celebrating winter tennis closing getogether. We enjoyed beer, Mango Lasi, Sizzlers, Chicken 65 and many other delicious dishes as per the choice of the individuals of the group. The most appealing fact was after having all these drinks and tommy full of delicious food, the per head cost was lower than what we used to spend in McD. We definitely choose this restaurant whenever possible

It’s one of the best Indian restaurant in Toronto. Today we literally had a feast. We loved every item we ordered. My personal favorite is the fried rice and noodles. We tried five different varieties in fried rice and noodles and we loved them all. We will definitely come back here for another feast. We made a big bill with 19 people and didn’t realize that gratuity is not charged. After coming home we realized no tip was given. we will come back to you guys for sure and leave a tip. Recently they introduced lunch buffet on weekends and we went to try it. The price is $24.99 The spread is good and majorly have main course dishes. Appetizers were okay in taste. They had tandoori chicken, soya chaap tikka, spring rolls and cocktail Samosas. Really liked paneer makhani, butter chicken, spinach egg curry and goat curry. Chilli paneer and veg hakka noodles were also decent in taste. Gulab jamuns were soft and have balance sweetness. Will recommend to try the buffet . Overall taste wise, will rate 4/5.

I recently visited Rowdy’s kitchen and had a delightful experience. I tried aloo papdi Chaat, that was a nice start to the meal, chicken momos which were perfectly steamed and had a juicy filling inside, it was accompanied with spicy sauce that had a nice kick to it. For the main course, I opted for the Lal Maas curry, soya chaap masala, which were rich in gravy and tasted delicious. The garlic naan and peas Pulav was a nice addition to balance out the spiciness and flavour of the curry. Overall, rowdy’s kitchen is a good spot for some Indian cuisine with a variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Must visit!!

This is a Place I prefer to come to often, there are few set backs. They use to not accept Amex. Now they do but they charge you an additional 8% on your Bill They had 10% off on Cash. They reduced it to 5% now. Once a friend of mine found a challenge with his meal. He was compensated decently I order for Tandoori and I know it was not intentional but they made me wait an additional 25mins for my tandoori.

Had two different dishes from this establishment: 1) Chilli Chicken 2) Chicken Shzewan fried rice. - Chilli chicken had a uniquely different flavor compared to other hakka places in Scarbrough. Not bad actually. Would give it a 3.5/5 - Chicken Shzewan fried rice was mixed with noodles I am not sure why ? Was quite greasy with an okay taste, nothing wow about it. Food quality has improved as compared to last visit. My last visit in June had spicy and hard appetiser and salty main course. This time it was good. My only issue was with service. My main course arrived before my appetiser and I had to send it back. The restaurant should take care of this item. The atmosphere was also just okay.

We came there first time. Food experience wasn't so good. We ordered lollipop chicken, Manuchrian fried rice and Achari Chicken Tikka. Went to Rowdy's for the first time last night. The food was amazing. I will admit to haveing never had true Haka, but it certainly met all my expectations, the Haka Chicken Sizzler was fabulous (and really spicy) and the butter chicken, absolutely superb. Would highly recommend you try it out, it's well worth the trip to the Kingston and Morningside area. The staff were kind and took the time to explain the dishes and what we'd be getting. Discovered this place through uber and decided to go with my friends after work. Would highly recommend this restaurant because the staff is very sweet, their food was delicious and in good quantity which is hardly seen in other restaurants. Excellent find! Very good food, even though some dishes took a while to prepare. We had their chicken hot and sour soup, which was very good. We had the following for take out; the chicken momos, which were also very good and the sweet chicken corn soup, which was surprisingly a great hit! Worth the wait! Great service and lots of seating space. Decent amount of parking available too.

The restaurant is amazing and large so you never have to wait for a table. The food was delicious and they have so much variety for vegetarians! I haven't had better paneer in Toronto anywhere else.

Tried the szechuan chicken noodles which was good. But the Chilli chicken was tangy and oily and the Hariyali kebab was definitely not marinated and was very chewy (tasted like boiled chicken). The staff is friendly. Atmosphere is decent. The bill was $55 for 3 dishes which was more than the average we pay for hakka. The buffet would make much more sense.

First and last experience all i can say! The real one. Food is old veg hakkah smells bad server mentioned it’s soggy. Wow paid 50$ for service where server is eating food on counter and talking over the phone using Airpods. Server didn’t feel like asking for water even . What a ridiculous service Mr Rohan the owner please pay attention. People pay for value not for bad experience. I hope it works here for customers and yourself!

Rowdys indian and hakka cuisine just opened up a few months ago and I had the pleasure of visiting them today and I must say they reminded me of India the Hakka dishes were really nice even the Indian dishes so flavourful the pricing is on point and I would highly recommend anybody that enjoys Indian hakka Cuisine to give them a try.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the town. Everything was so flavourful and fresh with no extra spices. It was on point 5/5. Food quality is so so good. staff is extremely polite and enthusiastic. We received amazing service and super happy with whatever we ordered. Must visit this restaurant. Highly recommended. One Menu suggestion: Please add Indian style veg manchurian.

This is my first visit. I ordered Gobi65 and Motton Do payaza, and I was really impressed by the dishes.Gobi 65 tastes soooo good,they made the cauliflower amazed,I love it! It’s been sometime since we had Indian curries that tasted the same as we had back in India. Loved the Chicken Tikka Masala! A special mention for the Pani puri! The best we had so far! The Chicken Manchow soup reminded us of the taste from India!

Excellent food . We came two times a week and the third time in a month. We loved the Chinese chicken and veg. We ordered spicy garlic chicken and schezwan chicken. We needed an Indian restaurant in the area like this , much needed. Staff is courteous and polite, service is fast, prices are reasonable, ambience is perfect. Everything is 10/10 no complaints . They should market more. Understated restaurant.

This is one of the best hakka noodles in GTA I have tried at many places but this has good Desi taste specially hakka chili noodles. They serve food little late like 15 minutes after ordering but it's worth waiting And please stop deciding the customer table location by yourself let customer sit wherever they want it's their right..

I am soo glad that I found out this place. Just tried their chicken triple schezwan rice and Soya chaap gravy and it blue my mind. The rice was just like what you eat in Mumbai. Giving a 5 star because that's the maximum! The food here is just outstanding! Can't think of a better Indian Hakka place. Everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
