On April 15th, 2020 RSI Roofing came to my home by way of Bonita Vista Community Association (BVCA-HOA). I already had a remediation team in my home removing wet drywall, baseboards, and flooring (living room and master bedroom).  RSI Roofing arrived in the middle of the afternoon (Two men with no identifiable logo shirts, business cards, etc.) They were at my home for approx. 15-20 min. They went onto my roof and then moved over to a drainage pipe on the roof. I was downstairs the entire time with the remediation team and thought I could trust their professional opinion.  The two men from RSI lied to my face and told me there was nothing wrong with my roof. They then diverted the focus to the drainage pipe and stated I had a, "plumbing issue."  I took their word for it.   I contacted my Homeowners insurance and they dispatched a plumber for that Friday- April 17th. The plumber arrived and we explained to him what RSI roofing told us. He did not find any plumbing issues whatsoever. When we told him that RSI placed the focus on the drainage pipe the plumber went to test it himself. However, with the water hose on the roof water began to flow in instantly.   It was then confirmed that there was NO plumbing issue but a ROOF leak like we suspected.  Furthermore, it was discovered by the plumber that my roof had three shingles with fresh tacky roofing mastic. Yet, RSI Roofing stated there was nothing wrong with my roof.                                                  I then contacted BVCA - Don Huffman again via email. It was expected to rain that day and we had to insist a tarp be placed on our roof. My roof was covered with a tarp and it rained a few hours later. NO RAIN LEAKED INTO MY HOME once the tarp was placed onto the roof. I continued to correspond with BVCA-Don via email about the roof. However,  because RSI Roofing stated there was no issue with my roof BVCA refused to do anything about my roof despite everything I had communicated to them via email (photos, video, damaged furniture, etc.) BVCA finally agreed to send RSI out again (they are, "contracted" with them)   On the second time RSI Roofing came they played their hand well. They arrived with two other Board Members- Candice  Hooper and Gail Knobloch. RSI attempted to tell my partner how, "rain falls" and said, "rain can only fall one way" etc. They were on my roof with the hose for approx. an hour, but because they are the, "professionals" they would NOT let my partner show them exactly how the water was getting into our home. (I guess my water damage isn't proof enough) As a result of RSI working on behalf of BVCA and ensuring they protect them from paying for my roof no water leaked into our home.  When they left my partner was dumbfound to say the least. He went onto the roof to test it himself and water INSTANTLY poured into our home. He called the Board members to come back over again to see for themselves.  After the Board Member saw that water was indeed seeping in from the roof I received an email the next evening from BVCA Board Member- Don Huffman stating, "RSI would be at my home the following morning. BVCA has a legal obligation to give me 24-48 hours notice. I directed them via email that they were not allowed to be on-site at my home until we were on the same page regarding repairs.  Nonetheless, the following afternoon BVCA Board members- RSI was on my roof for approx. 30 minutes.Thereafter, I requested to see the invoice of the work RSI did to my roof. I received all three invoices and have them in my possession.Furthermore, for their final bill dated 4/29/20 when they were sent to, "repair my roof"  the work performed is stated on the invoice as:  Installed a backer rod and applied caulking to the Z-bar. How do you know what to fix if on the two occasions you came to my home you DID NOT FIND ANY ISSUE WITH MY ROOF? Guess what RSI My roof still leaks because it needs to be REPLACED.

We were extremely happy with the top-notch complete re-roofing job done by RSI. We chose them over several other companies because of a neighbor's recommendation and the level of professionalism in their proposal and were not disappointed. The work and daily clean-up were meticulous. They were courteous, willing to answer questions and available quickly when we had concerns. Everyone involved were top-notch professionals. They did some minor repairs to a couple of ceiling areas damaged during the process, and did these quickly and graciously, even throwing in a little wall repair and painting that had been caused by a roof leak, not by them. First rate from start to finish.

Just got a new roof done for my parents (they are older and needed my help handling a lot of it). RSI were quick to respond and to come give me a quote. The job took place at my parents and they made it just as effortless as possible for me. Can’t tell you how mUch that one meant to me between work and life and having to travel to my parents to keep checking on the job. I basically just had to set it and forget it. Couldn’t have asked for a better situation they were friendly, professional, and kept me in the loop the entire time regardless of my busy schedule. Would recommend to anyone

RSI has been excellent. We called them when a roof leak happened after a heavy rain. Laura in customer service took my call and was very pleasant and professional. Her communication regarding pricing was clear and she made sure I understood that while their schedule was very busy, she'd do her best to get a crew out to make the repairs. Eliseo and Elijah arrived a couple days later, way earlier than expected, and had the job done in a couple of hours. They were courteous and had great advice, and they were confident in their work. They came out to repair our condo complex roof, and made a mess everywhere, leaving food packages (lunch, radishes, juice bottles), debris, boards with nails sticking up where residents, children and dogs could step on them them. I wish they would clean up better each day. Yes, the roof looks good, but they were so inconsiderate that it wasn't worth it and I would never want them to come again. Next time I hope we hire someone who does a good roof and keeps the area safe and clean for residents too.

I recently discovered a roof leak right before getting solar panels. The solar company gave me a bid 2x as high as RSI for "extra work" done while they are already on my roof doing other things in the vicinity of the leak. It took me 3 weeks to get a firm number on repair costs for roof work with the solar people. I reached out to RSI and I had a bid for half of what the other solar/roof company was charging AND the work was estimated and completed within a week! Jovial crew. Professional!

As a property manager I have multiple projects going with RSI. Recently they did a T&M maintenance job on one of our roofs and I was satisfied with the communication and professional work. At another property we are doing a full roof replacement, and so far so good. Very professional explaining the process, what is needed from me as the manager, my tenants, and what to expect during the replacement process. They get everything permitted, do asbestos testing, they don't take shortcuts.

RSI is a great and trustworthy Roofing Company. I reached out to them not sure if i needed a repair or a complete new roof. Their team inspected my roof and found that the roof did not need to be replaced and just two days or repairs were needed to extend the lifespan of my roof. The crew was on time, polite, professional and kept me informed of the progress both days. I was very happy with RSI and would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I am a member of my condo community's HOA, and we needed room maintenance given the age of our roof. Out of 3 proposals obtained, RSI's was the only one that included detailed photos and an *exact* description of what work was to be done. The price quoted was better than the others, and working with RSI was a pleasure. The work was performed in the time allotted, and I will continue to use RSI's services for my community's roof maintenance needs.

I wanted a commercial grade underlayment and roof on my home and so opted to use this commercial vendor. I needed a roof replacement. Everything about their operation was top notch. I got to see the degraded materials from my old roof and the new ones they were installing. They even used a huge magnet to pick up metal pieces when doing the cleanup. Everything was professional and high quality!

Referred into RSI through my Real Estate Agent. 4 unit apartment building with a flat roof.... Roof had to be replaced. Jess came out, met with me, had a bid the next day. Kept me abreast of the timing and even providing notices for the tenants on what to expect. They finished on time and on budget. Excellent job. I would highly recommend using RSI. Update for 2023 - another year of our roof PM completed! The communication with RSI is still great; they touched base before the visit and afterwards. RSI staff is so nice and they do our annual roof inspections. They always notify us of issues with pictures, which is so helpful, and do a great job on follow up and scheduling.

From the visit of the initial estimator to the final cleanup, RSI did an excellent job on our roof replacement. Their team was professional and timely in all communications and with their work on the job site. We have used them for multiple major projects and for emergency leak repairs. We don't use anyone else!

RSI installed a new TPO roof on our flat roof single-story home in 2017 as well as our solar system, neither of which has ever had any issues. They also recently worked with Stellar Solar to install additional solar panels on our HOA-owned TPO roof, at a reasonable cost that retains our long-term roof warranty.

RSI was as good as it gets in working with a company. Organized, communicative, super responsive with fabulous employees both in the office and the field, I am impressed and it takes alot to impress me. Having been in the service field I gave and therefore want good customer service ~ RSI did not disappoint.

Updating this review and changing to 4 stars. Was contacted by John to rectify the situation with the skylights and they will now schedule a time to come out to clean them. I really appreciate that he acknowledged that the project didn’t go as smoothly as it should have and reached out to make things right.
