I have nothing but excellent feedback after choosing then using RB Self Storage to store my entire life. The clean, easily accessible units are a huge plus but every great physical attribute is enhanced by the staff & service. All these qualites made my upheaval moves & transitions so much easier & comfortable & far less stressful. Norm has been exceptional. It's also unique that the staff has been there for years so little to no turnover~because they love their job! This stability & consistency allows them the ability to, which they do, develop professional relationships with their clients. Norm helped me thru a horrible move, a mover from hell & a packing job that almost drove me to insanity. He was genuinely supportive & empathic which was priceless. They are their to help & they do. Yes, Ive only great feedback so if you, too, are researching in hopes of finding a suitable self storage facility~look no further! ..Storage review??? Yeppp! If you told me yesterday morning that I would be having some of my stuff in storage already or that I would be writing storage review this morning, I would say - VERY UNLIKELY. Yet, here I am. And HAPPY to do it. ...It occurred to me that i really need to get stuff out the house to enjoy more space. It's been over two decades since I had stuff in storage, so I felt intimidated by the process, if I'm honest. ...I looked up self-storage on Google maps and saw RB self-storage was the closest. I called and Norm picked up and helped me figure out size I needed for what I had, available storage units, and cost. He suggested to do everything online if I wanted to save some money, but definitely call if I had any questions. ...i stopped by storage same day to get thing going, Norm showed me available unit, I got a lock (thank you!), got code to enter the property and even had time to make one trip to get some stuff in. ...storage open every day (including holidays) until 7.30pm ! Quick and helpful service over the phone and in-person. Satisfied customer here!

I will not be back. 7-8 years a loyal customer and I always prepaid- even full payment 1 year in advance. I spent over $12,000 in storage fees here. If you go over even 1 day over into the new month which I needed to do - they insist on a full months payment AND will not refund you for the unused days; this is ridiculous. They were UNwilling to work with me and this policy is simply gouging the customer. I've stored boats and RV's there but I am not happy with the current management and I've been through several changes in people running the place over the years. I expected to pay (in advance) but gouging me for a full month when you need an extra few days cause you've sold your RV........I cannot accept that.

I like this storage facility since it’s clean and decent maintenance is provided. They also provide an RV dump and wash space, which is quite a value add. My issues, the rates continue to increase from $160 2 years ago and now at $220 per month. That’s definitely a cost to factor into your choice and RV purchase. Second, the spaces are VERY tight, with less than 18” on each side, between other Rav’s. Because they’re working to make every cent and every inch count, the angle of each space is poorly aligned. It’s great these guys are around, but there has to be better alternatives somewhere. Sorry RB Storage, just too high of price for many real issues.

One of the easiest things I’ve ever done. I filled out the form and paid on their website then called and confirmed with Kyle. Kyle emailed me the gate key, I went to the space found the lock that I purchased from them and had my storage space within a couple of hours. Hundred percent Covid safe and the space was extremely clean, I felt very comfortable storing my personal belongings. And the best thing is they were less expensive than anywhere else in the area. Thank you too Rancho Bernardo Self Storage for being such a great business.

As someone who used to be a buyer at storage auctions around the country, I’ve seen many places and met many people. This by far is one of the nicest, cleanest, and well maintained storage facilities I’ve been to. The entire facility is kept in great condition. Clean, well marked, secure, etc. The location is very convenient, and all units are drive-up! Don’t bother looking anywhere else in this area, the people that run this business are awesome, and it definitely shows once you pull in.

Signing up originally was a real pain. I was in Utah with very poor internet connection. The answering service was not any real help. Norm is excellent. I just now tried to pay for the next month electronically using my Mac. I am unable to fill in all the required fields (have to keep refreshing the screen) and so cannot make the payment. The interface is horrible. The actual storage facility is overall excellent and would get 5 stars except for the above comments.

By far best experience we have ever had when renting a storage. The gentleman running the facility is kind, professional and very responsive to all my emails. Then when we show up we were amazed at how clean the entire property was- our storage unit was cleaner than some apartments we have looked at (seriously not kidding). The grounds are spotless, the service is incredible and the prices are very fair. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

We are at that age when its time to downsize. We chose RB Self Storage because of its location but also because we found the staff to be friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs. We have been in and out of the facility many times to access our belongings and each time the security was top notch and the grounds impeccably clean. We would highly recommend RB Self Storage if you ever need a storage facility.

I stored everything I owned at this facility a few years ago and kept it there for 2 years. I'm back with a smaller unit but I'm back because I know it's a well-run facility, it's safe and the owners and employees are awesome. They also have a truck for moving so I never have to deal with Uhaul (ugh)! I looked at some cheaper places but know that peace of mind is priceless. I highly recommend this place!

Having just moved from Washington, we were happy to have a clean safe place to store our RV. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it seems a little expensive. I can't say enough good things about Norm working with us. He went above and beyond with helping us make sure we were taken care of. Even our space neighbor was friendly. Definitely would recommend this place!

I’ve had a great experience with my storage unit. My belongings have stayed dry and undamaged during lots of rain last year and lots of heat. No evidence of vermin or bugs. People are friendly and flexible. Security is good. Gave 4 stars just because of price. May be comparable (haven’t checked around lately), but a little high for me. However, you get what you pay for.

RB Self Storage is awesome, and Norm is amazing. He was able to find the perfect RV spot for me when I showed up unannounced. He is very prompt, replying to emails within minutes. Just a nice person and I am glad to give someone like that my business. Facilities are spotless and Norm is always around, keeping an eye on things. I'm incredibly pleased.

This is an excellent storage facility with a very helpful staff. Plus, the convenience of an onsite dump station makes it better than many other facilities. I would love to see increased access at least on the weekends. Most facilities now offer 24x7 access. It would be also be very convenient if they had a propane fill station right onsite.

The rates are very competitive for the area and the lease online signup was super easy. Norm was awesome at communicating and was very fast to respond. He also offered to complete my lock purchase online and placed it conveniently in the unit for me. Had zero issues whatsoever, highly recommended. Overall very pleasant experience.

Rancho Bernardo Self Storage is a good place store your belongings. They have great customer service and are very helpful. I do appreciate the respect and service. We have had our RV at Rancho Bernardo Storage for a few years now. The facility is the cleanest facility out there. The staff is very friendly and it gives us peace of mind knowing there are several security cameras watching over our trailer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting to store their RV.

Not sure if I posted a review before for this place. Moved here recently from CubeSmart next door. CubeSmart got way too expensive and this place saved me a bundle. Manager on site, Norm, very friendly and patient with my many questions.

Very impressed in the cleanliness of the place, reasonable price and most of all the friendliness of the staff..specially Isabell and the gentleman by the front desk who helped me regarding broken key. Highly recommended.

VERY FRIENDLY. Helpful.. and they also offer a truck to help you move your stuff within so many miles its free just need to gas it up. . Haven't used it yet.. but that's what I was told if i remember correctly.
