"Thank you for providing underground parking to the residents of Randburg Square Apartments"
"It's a nice mall with a unique closed / open air kind of design with the top section being more open air and then you go underground to the actual mall part of it"
"The centre is decent, there is a number of shops, but it gets to busy, the parking is safe and there is car guards there all the time, they get upset if you do not tip them, There is good barber shops, shoe shops, clothing shops, Capitec bank, FNB and a number of ATM's The food places is limited, but there is a few, would be great if there was more food stores available"
"Love the improvements, Great selection of tiles, the design follows"
"This the place for all the hood guys "
Thank you for providing underground parking to the residents of Randburg Square Apartments. So far I have received good service, in terms of a clean parking facility. Unfortunately, I experienced something terrible this past weekend. The bonnet of my car was maliciously damaged by someone in the underground parking lot. I saw this damage on Saturday morning when I was taking my partner to work. I was shocked and surprised that this happened. I immediately reported the issue to the security of Randburg Square apartments. Unfortunately, the cameras in the underground parking did not cover the bay where my car was parked. So I could not see who the perpetrator was that damaged my car. I am angry and frustrated that someone damaged my car and that the cameras in the parking could not capture the incident. I thought I had peace of mind that my car is safe and that the cameras were capturing all angles of the parking lot. I'm really disappointed by what has happened because it means that I must now pay the damages to my car that I am not responsible for. I would like to recommend that Interpark installs more cameras in the underground parking for Randburg Square Apartments. Kind regards Sifiso
It's a nice mall with a unique closed / open air kind of design with the top section being more open air and then you go underground to the actual mall part of it. There are some really nice shops and salons most of them very reasonably priced. It is not very clean upstairs and so my issues around going here more often would definately be the cleanliness aswell as the safety. Being a white small woman it is quite startling and disconcerting to suddenly just be surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of black people all looking at you like you do not belong there so if that puts you off then rather just avoid. Not that I'm saying something will happen inside the mall but entering and exiting is another story.
The centre is decent, there is a number of shops, but it gets to busy, the parking is safe and there is car guards there all the time, they get upset if you do not tip them, There is good barber shops, shoe shops, clothing shops, Capitec bank, FNB and a number of ATM's The food places is limited, but there is a few, would be great if there was more food stores available. It serve it purpose and one can get what you need or want.
Love the improvements, Great selection of tiles, the design follows. I'm seriously concerned by management, it seems like there's no good relationship with the tenants or something is Wrong with the lease contract or the Cost are too high! Looking at the Ways the stores are leaving KFC then others followed now end of March I was at Edgar's few days later it's Gone More and more vacant spaces
This the place for all the hood guys . If you are strong and fearless. You can go there. How ever if you are from outside the country don't go there floating your flashing goods around. But you get to experience so many lovable characters around there . And shop for what you see . Not too many shops for real things but yiu can sure see something nice affodable. Go now
Never again will I visit the Randburg Square. The place is unclean overcrowded. The exit card machines were not working and we were told to go up the floors to pay for the cards, I am not used to this mall and it felt so unsafe to be roaming around..I found the guys ( from Christ Embassy Church) at the exit selling tickets. That is how I was able to buy the ticket.
The centre owners are trying to recreate the open / strip mall effects it original launch. This centre service is a diverse community and particularly the residents of the newly developed townhouses and apartments in the area where gentrification is happening. There is plenty secure parking that lead directly into the mall and makes a quick shop more convenient.
Randburg its a nice and clean place to be in..either to kill time with friends or family. Also convenient for shopping, banking all banks are in a safe place and the security is visible almost in all levels.....even people with mobility impairment can do their shopping and banking easy... Nice place to recommend for someone... …
What a surprise? Clean and safe. Ample parking. Major stores present. Post Office not that great. Had to fetch a parcel but the PO was closed? Reason - loadshedding! No comms anywhere about this? At least put the Loadshedding schedule up with notice of closure during those times? Parking machine didnt dispense change but issued a credit?
Tips: They are a few atms there. On weekends the mall closes early so by 7pm of you’re in an emergency you likely wont be able to get in. Shopping between 5-6pm is a mission on weekdays as its packed. If you can, rather go to Ferndale on Republic. You do find stores with really good pricing there and good quality as well.
I only went there to check out few stores (Sunday). But I was hesitant to walk anywhere else aside from the square area as am not from the area. Some stores were already closed but checked out Clairz. I wasn't happy with some of clothes and the beauty products they have. Pick and Pay and one sneakers shop were still open.
The mall inside is clean the outside is a garbage is very very dirty it stinks people are wiwing everywhere the municipalities workers are just walking around and shopping not working during office hour the kfc is surrounded by sewage water it stinks is not hygienic please people who are responsible must do something
If you really have to go to this place leave yo wallet & jewellery at home, just bring only what is needed for where you are going. Walk quickly & with confidence, you will be fine then. If u have a choice of cars take the one that will allow u to blend in & not attract attention. High crime area!!!!!!
First of all, it doesn't have parking or maybe I just never saw it but we had to park near the road. It's Too packed, smells of pee(men urinating all over the place) and streets. It's not sanitary at all. Will definitely not be going back there anytime soon. Unless it's the last option that I have.
Convenient shopping mall especially for the locals, not difficult to navigate around the different department stores. Extension to the current food court. Limited choices with the current available food court, so when it comes to a selection of places to get food don't expect much here.
Though the mall doesn't look like much from the outside, it is the cleanliness of the mall that takes the cup. The parking was sufficient and security is excellent I believe that with a major cosmetic upgrade the mall has a potential to give a true Joburg experience.
What a great place to be, there is a variety of shops and Groceries outlets, that place is Fashion oriented as there are plenty of clothing shops and they are of a good quality. There is also a Secure park in side and its easy to get a tax around that place.
Randburg Square is situated right in the center of the CBD, so its easily accessible. One can walk to to the mall. It has all the banks and ATMs. There's Pick n Pay if you need to by groceries. The nicest thing about the mall is that it offers free WiFi.
Let me plug you with an amazing pie shop called Bossie's ❤️. It has freshly made pies, once you eat them you can never buy pies elsewhere because there's a huge difference. I always buy the combo of 2, which comes with a free soft drink. …
It's been renovated from what it used to be and the new design is more modernized. I like the food stands as they make grabbing something to eat easier when you're busy shopping. I would like to see more stands with light meals or snacks on the go
Deteriating at a scary pace. Some blame must be accredited to load shedding, but banks and other businesses made me think I was shopping in a poor part of Soweto! What a shame, used to be a prime shopping location when called the Santam Centre.
Couldn't find a toilet in sight and then a security guard gave me directions to Edgars only to find that Edgars closed and dischem has taken the space! Seriously you work there and dont know that?? Parking fee not warranted either. Never again!
I have had to rush through to the banking mall just before 8am this week at Randburg Square. I found the ablution facility locked up when nature called, upon enquiry I was told that due to theft of toilet rolls, the facility on the banking
The place isn't the cleanest, however, it's got everything. I would highly recommend if you were looking for a one-stop mall. They also have both paid and unpaid parking, which is a bonus, depending on how rich you're feeling on the day.
I don't go there because I want to. I end up there by default. You always have to look over tour shoulder there. Not my type of space. They must get rid of the Nigerian contingent so we can reclaim and clean our spaces for our enjoyment.
Went to Randburg Fire Arms to fix my fire arms paper work.Thank you Gideon for the help and fantastic service . Randburg Fire Arms is in the Red Square building There is ample under roof parking and the building is wheel chair friendly .
Don't know why they don't have 30minue free parking. The surrounding area is not the greatest and with other malls in the area that are more pleasant, and with free parking, there is no real reason to go here other than the post office.
The woman that sells coffee refused to help us and the excuse was "she's busy ", 'we should come back the next day'.meanwhile it was 10:00. Atleast if she said they don't sell coffee after a certain time it would have made sense to me
Don't withdraw cash from the Capitec atm outside Powersave, they block your money not all of it comes out and they are sinister looking guys there lingering around... Obviously to get the money that gets stuck in the atm …
Too much vending outside. It's really confusing... Used to be a nice place to go for shopping but these days you just see people loitering around selling God knows what... Though the mall on the other side is pretty cool.
I dont feel safe and protected because none of the shops take temparature. Most people just walk in and outside the mall without masks. No distance observed no control at all. I suggest strict measures should be taken.
The parking is OK and the facilities are fine, but right outside the mall when walking from the parking to the mall, the space between seems too open and busy. Feels like the perfect place for a bad snatch
A shopping Mall for everyone, has all essential shops any mall has, get quite busy but you get almost all the service, all ATM's downstairs, Has many salons just outside the mall. Enough parking outside
The security they need to be trained on how to talk to people. Because they think that if a person is black is Zulu, Please let's be educated and speak English to occupy everyone international. #mindset
I like that you have both Shoprite and PNP in one building. The only confusion is that Absa ATM at Standard Bank Services area. You go there looking for Standard Bank machines only to find ABSA ATMs
Easy to find, has a lot of shopping outlets but is always overcrowded. No security visible at entrances and parking does not look safe at all. People dont wear masks as you walk into the square.
Just had an amazing experience from babyshop yesterday. The lady was so so helpful, she she suggested we party packs for my sons birthday and proceeded to help me and gave a gift for my son..
Always a problem with the parking. Either the paypoints don't accept new R5 coins pr they don't accpet notes. Some good clothing shops that sell fashionable clothing at very good prices.
This mall has a lot of footprint.im not sure if it translates into cashflow.the need to improve on their toilets. I couldn't use them because they are so filthy.they need to add more.
It's a good shopping mall though it has limited shops for food (eateries). Service is good too. Please let there be more visible securities as people don't like wearing masks there.
It's convenient as it's a few meters from my workplace. Was a good idea to have dischem there. Been shopping there for years since I work closeby and it has improved so much.
It is very convenient place and very quiet to do your shopping and security guards are very good when you are asking for any information or directions inside the Mall. …
The mall has the majority of the shops we need. It's closer and within walking distance. Very hygienic, good customer service. Meets the requirement of our wants and needs
Very dirty outside the shop. Constant harassment from beggars. Felt like I was in Pretoria central. But once inside, the shops are neat and clean. Just a regular mall
I like that is has most shops that I need and banks, so it is easy to run many errands in one place at the same time without additional expenditure on transport.
Honestly...it's really nice inside. It's clean and has a lot of essential shops. But the outside is becoming dirtier and dirtier, soon it's gonna be like Joburg.
It’s still a quite vibrant place but it needs to be maintained properly. It’s bathrooms are not up to date in terms of smartness and you find some out of order.
Excellent experience with all the great products and services that I have used in this area. It's safe because of the visibility of security measures in place.
This place needs to be renovated and good stores to let. It is spacious but most of the stores inside are not worth it, it's convenient but it could be better.
Not a safe place too much pick pocketing, too over populated , affected by loadshedding, sometimes ATMs do not work no back up generator, hard to get an Uber
It's a great super shopping center variety of clothing wear, groceries, shoes wear, only banking sector is a bit limited I noticed interms of their services
Too many memories. A lot of upgrades recently has the place looking Hella fresh right now. Just need to include more stores that are not clothing or food
Dreadful. Avoid this place. Inside not too bad but it's scruffy and dirty. Not safe either - two guys were circling round trying to steal phones.
Not the friendliest of places to go shopping. It was fairly quiet, but the staff were not very helpfull. Bathrooms next to Mr Price were a mess.
Looking for a one-stop shopping centre in Randburg? This mall is safe and family friendly. With access to Randburg CBD and most neighbourhood.
You can get what ever you want ...t I like the vibe..the banks I all in the same place. No need to go up and down. If you used different banks
Everything inside the mall is okay the only problem its outside, always crowded and full of tsotsies, nonetheless i had a good time there
Had such a very good experience. A pizza from Debonairs was just delicious. The View of the mall was just crazy ended up shopping madly.
Has a wide selection of stores and vibrant atmosphere, it's the perfect destination for all our shopping needs and leisurely outings.
I have always loved Randburg Square for its cool atmosphere.Postnet and Post office was were I conducted my business. Heloful sraff.
It's fine for basic shopping but the lifts area literally stinks of urine. Not pleasant when you have to wait their with your child.
Very nice and wonderful place but it's always busy and very crowded where by you don't know whether you are in a safe place or not
A place is big and the parking ️ is very confusing sometimes the doors don't work and you have to go to the lift ♂️ …
I was here today just took this few photos it seems like a nice place you can visit it anyway to find more about this place .
Not too many shops available. If there can be Edgar's, Woolworths, Queespark,Cotton On, Aldo it will be of our convenience
This place now looks ugly in a way that i cant believe it .it used to be so smart until people start selling everywhere
Very busy center, all the major banks ATMS are working well, security are ready to help you get to your destination
Too busy with people stopping you to sell insurance and way to many vendors in one space. One can feel very unsafe
This shopping center was very dirty and dark inside when I went there. I could not believe I was still in Randburg
Normally use the capitec Bank ATM and I must say queue normally move faster and there's always securities around
I loved the atmosphere the place but be more vigilant because lot of foreigners around and others scam people
Awesome day. Everyone going about their day. Police car and cash van sighted at the entrance of the mall.
It is a good space , but I suggest they should have more restaurants, most places are just grab and go
I have seen shops here that are hard to come by in many malls. Definitely a great place to do shopping
It's okay. Alot of dingy places around the Square. And they try their best to keep it some what clean.
Very nice Mall but it gets very full and it's a very busy with a variety of shops inside and outside.
Randburg needs a bit of clean up, but the place is quiet, even the crime is not like Johannesburg CBD
Very very dangerous mall. Mugging. Theft. Assault. People being held at gunpoint and mugings non stop
this is an old mall and it smells like it. if you keep your eyes open you should be safe from mugging
Its well ground though it has many down full. The city is not for a weak soul. Its also too crowded.
the mall was okay, but did not feel very safe. all the necessary stores but really old and outdated.
I love it too much because I have experience lot of things in this mall and it is very safe
Always on point and you get everything you need, affordable prices, new shops i just love it
Peacefull not overcrowded the stores are clean and neat and has the best customer service
Inside of this place is okay but outside ,the people who are around the Building so scary
Awesome place with lots of shops making it a convenient place for all needs and products
This is the nice place which is having all sorts of things everyone can think of getting
My mom and i love coming here for a girls day out, so many lovely shops to choose from.
We often stop here for a quick bite when we need to do a bit of shopping. Always great
It's convenient Should be one of the busiest around but they do give excellent service
Very poor. Place has lost dignity and alot foreign nationals clouded the city center
Randburg has deteriorated so it was nice that the mall still looks clean and is safe
It's a great place to buy affordable items, but it can get really busy and crowded
My mom send us a parcel to Postnet in the mall and it was a pleasant experience.
Please be careful, there are plenty of phone snatchers and pickpockets happening.
It's okay, I can't say it's safe or comfortable but I managed to get trough it.
Ddnt really feel safe and there was a pungent urine smell in the parking bays
Has a wide selection of store though a bit more restaurants will be perfect
Dirty Mall. Management must try to uplift the general image of the Mall.
