DON'T TAKE A CAR WITH EMPTY TANK & ASK MORE ABOUT THE DEPOSIT CAUSE THEY SIMPLY KEEP IT WITH NO EXPLANATION... The car itself was new and comfortable, no issues at all. We rented 2020 Nissan Qashqai. However, we had many administrative issues. When we rented the car, the tank was empty, so the rep told us to return the car with empty tank. Thank God I took pictures of the dashboard because after we returned the car, two days later we receive a massive charge on my card. Apparently, for a full tank of fuel. The office in Firenze refused to help us and directly told us to call the main customer service number. It costed me nearly 20 euro of international calls to talk to their representatives. At the end I was instructed to write an email with the pictures I had. After more than 3 weeks and many, many emails we received the refund for the fuel charge. The bad things don't stop there. They kept the deposit of 100€ with no decent explanation why. The only thing they explained to us was that 'we pre-authorise a sum which is not the cost of the rental' which I don't understand. In the office the rep told us that this is a deposit and furthermore, in the contract the rental cost is said less to what they charged us. After we started having issues with this company, I translated the contract and surprise, surprise, nowhere is mentioned we pay deposit. Now after nearly 5 weeks, I start to think that the reps are lying about the deposit to make it look like a cheaper rental cost. We rented the car as walk-in and before deciding, we checked prices in all car-rental offices nearby (there are a few) and this company was offering the most competitive price for the class of vehicle. LIE!!!

1 étoile pour la voiture de qualité, pour le reste il faudrait tout revoir ! Nous avons malheureusement eu une mauvaise expérience avec cette agence de location. -La première chose : nous arrivons, il n’y a personne à l’agence, obligé d’appeler pour que quelqu’un daigne nous accueillir. Au retour, le monsieur nous a dit de revenir plus tard car il était trop occupé, heureusement que nous n’avions pas un train ou un avion à prendre ! Deplorable. -Deuxième chose : nous avons été prélevé de la caution, nous avons déjà loué plusieurs fois des voitures, et le prélèvement de la caution sur le compte en banque : c’est une première ! Et pour la récupérer, ils vous disent que vous l’aurez dans quelques jours, mais non ! On renvoie un mail et ils nous disent que ça sera dans 20 jours seulement ! Il faut arrêter d’abuser des gens, nous avons dû avoir recours au site par lequel nous étions passés pour la récupérer plus rapidement. Nous avions également payé un acompte sur le site, et bizarrement ils n’en avaient aucun trace ! -Troisièmement chose, pas des moindres, nous avons dû passer dans une ZTL pour rendre la voiture à l’agence, malheureusement par la faute de cette agence qui n’a pas daigné renseigner les informations nécessaires pour autoriser la voiture à passer dans cette zone. Ils ne nous ont encore moins aidé quand nous avons reçu plusieurs contraventions ! Nous avons perdu beaucoup de temps et d’argent malheureusement à cause de cette agence, je ne recommanderais donc à personne.

Alquilamos un auto para 7 personas que a las 7 horas nos dejo varados en la banquina de una autopista donde autos, camiones y colectivos nos pasaban a centimetros a 130 kilometros por hora. En la agencia no atendia nadie el telefono y el auxilio tardo casi dos horas en llegar. Obviamente llamamos un taxi para que se lleve a la mayor parte del grupo de la autopista. Nos cobro 190 euros para llegar al destino. Dos nos quedamos esperando la grua y despues tomamos otro taxi que nos costo 105 euros. Fuimos a la agencia, pero tienen todo armado para que los reclamos sean por mail, asi no dan la cara y demoran en resolver o directamente no lo hacen. Habiendo pagado el día completo del alquiler y no pudiendo usarlo, no reconocen nada. Y de los taxis, ellos estiman que con 200 euros deberiamos haber podido resolver y eso es lo que proponen reembolsar (cosa que aun no ocurrio). Si reembolsasen ese dinero, nuestro costo total por hora de uso seria mas de 60 euros, llevado al día 1440!!! Casi 4 veces lo que valia el alquiler. Una pena no se pueda poner estrellas negativas, estoy obligado a poner una estrella para publicar. La persona que me contesta los mails lo hace en forma escueta y correcta, pero no puede resolver el problema. Espero alguien mas vea esto y me persuada de mejorar la opinion que tengo de ellos. Si hoy tuviese que recomendar lo unico que puedo decirles es: crucen de vereda, no pasen ni cerca

NO SE OS OCURRA ALQUILAR UN COCHE EN ESTE "NEGOCIO". Teníamos una reserva hecha a través de una empresa que trabaja con ellos (DoYouItaly). Pagamos un anticipo de 75€ con tarjeta de débito, donde en ningún momento no especificaron que tendríamos que pagar con tarjeta de crédito el resto en el local. Una vez en el local nos dicen que solo se puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito, y que no aceptan tarjeta de débito (la primera vez en mi vida que me lo piden al alquilar un coche). Nos enseñan el contrato y vemos que lo ponen en la letra pequeña. Nos pareció súper engañoso. Les comento educadamente que qué no entiendo cómo no me lo indicaron de forma clara al hacer la reserva, ya que nunca me había pasado. Me dicen que es una práctica "súper" habitual pedir tarjetas de crédito para reservar un coche y me dicen que hacen la vista gorda y me alquilan el coche por 400€ haciéndome el favor y para ayudarme, pero perdiendo obviamente el dinero de la reserva. Me acerqué a 3 locales contiguos que también alquilaban coches. En todos ellos aceptaban tarjetas de débito. Y los 3 me dieron un precio más barato. Negocio de piratas. Espero que lo cierren pronto.

This is a review for the location at Via Pratese. I had an online reservation (RES 8776 AD3010FD) but the manager was extremely rude and refused to rent me the car. First he stated he needs to see my passport (I provided a digital copy), then he came up with an idea that my European drivers license was expired (which is not true). I had my wife with a 2 years old waiting on a side of the road for 2 hours in the city (we had to check out) while I ran around looking for a another place to rent. Next place (Knowleggi - which I recommend) accepted a digital copy of my passport. Everything smooth 1 hour later, same documents provided. I also rented from Hertz on our trip in Italy and the people were extremely professional. I rented literally hundreds of cars in the past 20 years, this was the WORST experience ever.

Despite the appealing rental price, I am not so sure about recommending this rental company due to two unwelcome surprises. The first occurred before arriving there, as the price turned out to be higher than initially quoted. The second surprise came when I called them to ask about the deposit...they said that there was an 'error'' on the delivery time slot , on their end, and that time accounted for one more day of rent (which is not true). If I had not called, the deposit would certainly not have been refunded to us (which has not yet happened). This unexpected situation caused us significant inconvenience and wasted a lot of our precious vacation time.

I recommend avoiding this place and using one of the other many rental companies nearby. We resolved our issue within minutes from another car rental company 1 min away for a better price/car. Rental Plus canceled our rental without notice as our rental pickup was very close to the time they closed for lunch then wouldn’t give us another car. Afterwards the guy in the picture started shouting at us very loudly and the lady next to him told us to go back to our country. Italy is full of lovely and kind people, but these 2 degenerates are not a good representation.

Esperienza disastrosa... fissato un mezzo da 9 posti con un mese di anticipo,.. a tre giorni dall'evento per cui era necessario senza essere nemmeno contattati ma solo alla nostra telefonata per fissare orario e dettagli scopriamo che il mezzo non è disponibile per un guasto, ovviamente provano a tutelarsi offrendo come alternativa due autoveutture (incredibile che non abbiamo più di un mezzo simile nella flotta), naturalmente a un prezzo maggiore senza proporre sconti... insomma da evitare, un misto tra impreparazione e malafede...

Rented a car which all went well. Handed in a car, appeared to have a small scratch on the side on the car. They took pictures of it which they would send to us so we could make a claim at the insurance broker. -Never received the pictures -mailed 8 times, no reply -called 5 times, 4 times didnt pick up -the time they picked up, they hang up the phone after 1.5 minute -up untill now 400 euro's just gone Recommendation: don't rent a car here as they will just ghost you once they have your money

Our experience with this company was excellent. We arrived a little bit early, and Gabrielle was able to give us our car earlier than our reservation. The car given is a new 2023 model with Apple play, cold AC, and touch display. It was very comfortable to drive around Italy. At first, I was hesitant to book with them because of the reviews, but I’m glad that I gave them a chance because my experience was great! I will book with them next time I come to Italy!

Gebucht war ein Automatikwagen Kompaktklasse. Bekommen haben wir einen winzigen Fiat mit manueller Schaltung. Beim Schlüssel abholen vorher wurde nichts dazu gesagt und das obwohl sogar noch ein zusätzlicher Fahrer abgeschlossen wurde. Es gab keinerlei Lösungsvorschlag. Pech gehabt wurde uns mitgeteilt. Eine spätere Reklamation zur Erstattung zog sich Wochen hin. Am Ende 25 Euro erhalten. Ein Witz. Nie wieder!

Renting a car here for a Tuscany trip (arrival at Firenze airport) is very convenient. When you arrive at the airport you have to dial a number to arrange a pick up with a different shuttle bus (not the one to the big rental parking lot). The car was very good and the pickup (and return) went smoothly. And the cost was significantly lower than with the alternatives. Highly recommended.

Avoid at all costs. Discovered they cancelled our reservation at pickup with no notice. Gabrielle at the front desk was rude and incompetent. Refused to provide any explanation, assistance, and even laughed after we inquired if they had any available cars. Gabrielle complained that we booked through Discover Cars (also avoid) instead of direct with Rental Plus. Scammers and thieves.

LEAVE THIS STORE IMMEDIATELY! This business is a scam. Upon arriving, I discovered that my reservation, made the previous day, was not recorded. The discourteous attendant insisted I wait outside in the cold while assisting another customer, resulting in over an hour wasted. When I tried to cancel, they refused to refund my money. Beware of falling victim to this deception.

Have dropped off a car here twice in the last few months and have had only good experiences both times. Both times I used Rentalplus we received a brand new car which was great to drive. Cheap and cheerful car rental company, if you read the T&Cs, look after the car and don't cause any problems then it's a great service. would use again when in Italy.

Had to rent a car from RENTALPLUS via walk-in fora few days. The gentleman servicing me was very friendly, helpful and flexible in the arrangement for car return and even offered tips on driving in the area we're going to. Made up for the very rude service from another car rental shop in Florence

Very nice service and good price. The staff was attentive and helpful. We drove by ZTL by mistake and he helped us cancel the fine ticket. The price was better than other rental companies that we’ve checked. We didn’t have any problem here like other comments mentioned, everything went well.

Watch out for scams. The car was very fine and so was the service. But in the 3 months after the rental, they’ve tried to charge my card 3 times of different amounts. Obviously I’ve fully paid the costs etc. This is a major scam. Watch out for this scam and avoid using your card if possible.

Very rude, unhelpfull staff, very high prices. We have been charged twice for the insurance. Total pricegor the rental was more than double to what was advertised. They will ALWAYS find the waty to overcharge you. Keep away by all means if you only can. This palce is a disaster !!!

Very hostile environment. Cancelled my reservation because I was 20 minutes late. Reserved at 10am they say one hour grace period but at 11:15 they closed the reservation citing the automatic system. Upon seeing the other reviews I can see this is typical of this company.

Don't rent here! Scammers! They invent a lot of problems so that you don't get the car unless you pay extra, after they drag you a lot so you miss the cancellation time!

Terrible service. They lied to me straight up to try to upsell me to a more expensive vehicle and the vehicle was available for much cheaper by competitors.
