I've never written a poor review but today was the straw that broke the camels back and I felt I had to speak up. This pharmacy is just awful and I am not the only one that feels this way, I regularly see other customers complaining. 4 out of 5 times that I have gone there to pick up a prescription, I have had an issue due to poor service. Most of the time, it is as simple as the prescription not being ready and I am told to come back in 40 mins despite the fact that the prescription was called in 3 or 4 days earlier for a refill. Other times I am told that the prescription is not covered by insurance and I have to ask for the supervisor who finally sorts it out and tells the staff that it is covered. 2 months ago my 88 year old mother picked up her prescription and only realized when she got home that it was someone else's prescription for methadone. Thank god she realized it and did not take the pills. I called the pharmacist to tell them and said I would return it the next day only to be hounded by them to bring it back in right away. This morning I arrived at 8:00am sharp as I was planning on going out of town. The prescription was called in 4 days ago so I was hopeful it would be ready. The clerk at the store told all the customers at the front door that the Pharmacist had not arrived yet and they could not open the location until the Pharmacist arrived. I asked if they expected her to arrive in 10 mins or in 2 hours but he did not know. An hour and 40 mins later at 9:40am the pharmacist arrived and the store opened. Everyone in the parking lot was trading stories about how poor the service is there and how they were going to complain. Hence, here I am! Called another pharmacy today and moved my mother's prescriptions.
Unprofessional and ignorant pharmacy!! It needs a lot for me to write a review, as I am not a person that got the time for it. But with this specific store it would be a crime to keep ignore it. Every time I come, there is always something that goes wrong. My first visit a year ago they gave wrong medicine (for a kid!). Few months later they told me to come 30 mom later, so I was waiting just to figure out they were short in distilled water and unable to make the solution. Today I decided to give them last chance because they are the closest store to us and guess what? I came after the waiting time for pick up, with my kid having a fever, waiting in the line for my turn just to figure out that they forgot to make it. So the lady ask me to wait for 5 minutes and keep serving other customers in line. After about 10 minutes that I realized that they forgot about us again I asked her if it’s ready and she went to check and have it to me. I tried to pay for the Buckley too but she said that I can’t cause There is a line waiting to be served. What??? I reminded her that I was waiting in the line way before all those people came with my kid having a fever , and we didn’t get the service. She just kept repeating the same thing. (No common sense, complete ignorance). To the store management : your useless comments here is not an answer. I am going to write a complaint to the main office. Just look at the average rate of your store here...ridiculous.
The folks working at the pharmacy never seem to know what they're talking about and are not very warm and friendly. Prescriptions aren't always ready when you go to pick them up (even after you've had notifications saying they're ready for pick up). I've had times where I showed up and they didn't even have my prescription in stock. It would've been nice to get a phone call about that. I've had two instances now where the person didn't know and offered little or no advice on the medicine I was taking or my children. I had to seek advice from another pharmacy. The latest example, my infant daughter needed to take Tylenol (there's only one type to give a baby under 23 months and she's under 3 months). For 0-3 month olds, the amount given is based on weight. My doctor and the Tylenol package advises that you call your pharmacist (or doctor) to determine the exact amount. The pkg literally does NOT provide an amount for babies under 12 lbs. When I called this pharmacy to find out how much to give my daughter, the pharmacist was dismissive, and told me I would have to just buy infant Tylenol and follow the pkg, she doesn't know it "off by heart". I told her what Tylenol I had and what the pkg said because it was like she didn't believe me. She said she'd need the bottle in front of her. ♀️ I wasn't confident she could figure it out and I had a screaming baby on my hands, so I told her I'd figure it out and hung up.
If I could give this location 0 stars I absolutely would. I’ve been going to this location for about 6 years, don’t know why I continue to torture myself, it’s the absolute worst. I rarely get my prescriptions on time. Often they won’t even tell me that I have to come back to pick up the remaining balance of pills they owe me because they didn’t have enough in stock. I often wait at least 2 days before picking up after calling in my refill and it’s never ready. You wait absolutely forever at the cash and no one will make eye contact with you because they don’t seem to want to deal with customers. Picking up my prescriptions just fills me with white hot anger and absolute dread. I don’t use the term “hate” often but I HATE this pharmacy. Every interaction is the same no matter what day of the week I go. Some days are actually worse than others. Unless you enjoy feeling like you’re on an airplane next to a screaming child, avoid this place like the plague. I’m absolutely fed up and will be switching to a new pharmacy. I went today to pick up a prescription I called in 2 days ago and again waited at the cash forever and was told it wasn’t ready. Im done.
I am editing this review and dropping my rating to 2 stars. The service has been getting worse recently which I blamed on Covid but today the pharmacist was obviously having a bad day and seemed to feel it was my fault. He snapped at me about how a doctor wrote a prescription then informed me that my 90 year old mother’s blister packs will be prepared one week at a time instead of every four weeks as it has been. Why? Because they are too busy to be preparing a bunch of these packs at a time. But isn’t that their job? So now either my 90 year old parents have to get there every week or their caregivers who have jobs and are already frazzled must find time to add 3 more errands to their list of things to do. It makes no sense from the pharmacies end either since they will now have 4 times the number of those customers to serve or else 4 times the number of deliveries to make in a month. I am no longer impressed and will be looking for another pharmacy for my parents. I moved my parents and my prescriptions here a few months ago and have been very impressed with the service we have received. Wait times are minimal, staff is friendly and accommodating.
I won’t recommend this pharmacy. I went to pick up my refill which isn’t covered and the bottle was open I saw just after I paid the medication and ask for a refund or to replace it, the person said they won’t be able to give me a refund without manager approval which I could understand I said I won’t take the medication , he answered that they would discard it so they want me to take a drug that was open so I should be the one considered as a trash .. he said to see the manager between 8-4pm which was my work hours. I asked him to live a note to the manager with the medication in question that I paid around 350. This happen on Wednesday till now I didn’t get a call from the manager, I called yesterday for follow up there is no trace of the note on this matter and the manager was gone already. So I paid for my medication so they don’t care if I have it or not or my well being. I have a record when I paid the medication and when I returned it this is my second time that happen before I couldn’t return it as I was already home. The manager if u see this message please respond !!!
This place is a disaster waiting to happen in the pharmacy. My doctor called in the order for my medication in the morning. When I called the woman said they had not got order from my doctor. When I pressed them they put me on hold for 10 minutes to check further when I told them it was a phoned prescription by him. I hung up tired of waiting. Called back and got a male who told me yes they had got it earlier in the day but they only check those phoned in orders once a day early. They refuse to deliver when I told them I could give them my visa on phone as driver has no way other than cash. Told them I was only couple days out of hip replacement and not mobile. Recently had lost my wife to cancer and was alone. Sorry they stated. If I don't come to store they will not give me drugs I need from the doctor. They put my wife and I through similar stuff with her cancer meds on many occasions. Totally frustrated and have only dealt there because they are close to home. Not for much longer though. Service there is seems not on their radar of doing business.
For years I have found the services underwhelming at this store. Today has exemplified my experiences there. A prescription was called in by my doctor yesterday . I have COVID and arranged for someone to pick it up as I live alone. The person went today at 3:30 and it wasn’t ready and the person then had to go to work. I called a couple of other people to pick it up but they had other commitments. I called the pharmacist to have it delivered and was told it was after hours (call went in at 6:13. ) and they couldn’t deliver today it would have to be tomorrow. She said I could call and arrange for delivery At this juncture I’m so tired and sick and coughing if I try to speak . By the way he medications are two inhalers for my breathing . It did not help that she informed me that I couldn’t come in. Really. I hadn’t factored that in. I am so frustrated and upset. I may be unreasonable but it was ordered yesterday, someone did try to pick it up today.
My ped sent an RX for my kid at 10am. I stopped by to pick up at 3pm. It wasn't ready. I was told it would be one hour. I went home to wait. Shortly after I get a call from the pharmacy to advise they can't fill the RX, it needs to go to a compounding pharmacy! I ask how long that will take, they tell me one week! The RX is for a tick bite my 3 year old kid got, time is of the essence so as to prevent Lyme disease. I ask them to send the RX to compounding and I'll got get it myself. They couldn't figure that out, I had to drive back over, and tell them what to do in person. I then had to drive over to Watsons on Main Street. I will say, thank goodness for them! They exemplify competence and professionalism. Rexall could take some lessons from Watsons. The takeaway is, Rexall cannot be trusted when an RX is time sensitive, or urgently needed, and that's too bad! I will swing by when I need a pack of gum though.
My father has been waiting for his meds for two days. Both of my parents are hearing impaired. they often dont hear the phone . The delivery guy said he came the first day , then the second day he said he came again but this time I was home sitting at my table working all day and not once did I hear a knock. I also have a dog , which barks as for them and lets them know when I am not here. It is now 6 pm. I cant get a hold of anyone at the pharmacy, I've called numerous times , even called the supervisor of the front to personally go to the back . still havent answered . My father leaves in about an hour for a week for a medical treatment , he was in need of these meds. My husband has now go and get them with no idea if the meds are there are not. This is awful . Some people have life threatening meds that are needed to take
Karim (Pharmacist) gave me my flu shot and let me tell you; he is hands down the most rude and unprofessional pharmacist I have ever dealt with ever.......no PR skills whatsoever and his service to the client is non-existent. It baffles me how Rexall would keep such an employee? An employee who's tarnishing the image of the store and the other staffers who need to work with him??? He's a bad apple and Rexall really needs to take action against this employee ASAP. Rexall: Do your staffers and your Elmvale clients a favour!......flush this guy before many of your regular customers choose an alternate pharmacy......from reading other reviews, it may already be too late. Don’t just take my opinion on the matter.......take the time to survey the staffers who work with him on a regular basis and the results may surprise you.
The pharmacy at this Rexall is extremely unprofessional. I spoke with two pharmacists on staff about receiving an emergency supply of medication (as my doctors office had closed for the holidays and their system had failed to send a fax - or more likely the staff just never sent the fax in the first place). This pharmacy had previously given me a 7 day supply when they made the same mistake, but this time both pharmacist I spoke with said it was impossible. The medication is just heartburn PPIs and I have been on them for 2 years+. To the credit of the first pharmacist I spoke with - he passed me along to who I assume was the manager who then just hung up on me. STRONGLY RECOMMEND avoiding this pharmacy. Absolutely terrible, unprofessional service.
I was in this location yesterday and was pretty disgusted. I asked the pharmacist for some help with a simple question. He roughly told me to wait while he chatted with one of his staff, then when he finally came to me I asked him my question, he abruptly said " NO !". I felt horrible and will never return to that location. Then when I went to the cash, I was short 20 cents to relieve a $10 gift card, plus 50 air miles. The manager was called to void the bill, so I could add an item to reach the $30 amount, and gave me the gift card without adding another item, but didn't offer me 50 air miles. The proper thing to do was void the bill and re-enter everything again with another item, but I guess he couldn't be bothered. Oh Well! Such is Life!!
I usually go to the march rd location. I came in today to fill a very strongly needed pain medication. I gave them the normal rexall branch I use. Waited almost 2 hours came in to get it and they told me it’s suddenly not covered and I owe them $116 they hadn’t even filled it. They said they will contact my regular branch and get back to me. 6 hours later they called me and told me my usual branch said I don’t have an account there (blatant lie). I called my usual branch and they said no one had contacted them. I called this location back and he told me o they close in 15 minutes and I said no they don’t they close at 8 pm (another 2.5 hours off). Still refused to run through my insurance trying to make me pay cash. Very very scammy
Absolute joke of a pharmacy. Rude entitled staff that always seem like you are bothering them by spending your money there. Guess what. You won't get any more of mine. It will not be long before the clients you lucked into from the pharmacy that closed wise up and go elsewhere. I half expect a guy to come out of the back and announce I'm on some kind of hidden camera show to see what people do when they are treated like pieces of disease ridden garbage. I sincerely hope you go out of business soon so you can stop peddling your misery. P.s. this applies to the pharmacy section of the store not the front counter staff who are generally fairly pleasant. Too bad they'll all be out of a job when this place goes belly up. See ya never.
I have had my prescription faxed over in the early afternoon and by 9pm it’s not ready. I went in to get my medication after standing around for 10 mins like a few people before me a guy finally came up to the counter and told me that it wasn’t ready. I told them when my prescription was faxed over and asked when they received it? The response I got was that they have a lot of prescriptions. He then told me I could wait for my prescription they were closing so I couldn’t wait … I had to ask again when it would be ready. He finally was able to tell me a time. Does it really take over 7 hours to get a prescription ready? I’m not asking for lightning service as that’s not realistic but please do better.
very bad service, left my prescription a day before since they were busy I asked to have it ready for the next day. when I went after 24hrs time, pharmacist said it was not ready amd will take 2 more hours. previous to that a lady was on line before me waiting for her prescription for 8 days which was not ready either. I was way to upset and started to do a video of the the conversation, pharmacist got furious and didn't wanted to help amd called manager "Derik" to assist. he came down and said could not do anything other then waiting, I asked for my prescription back sonincan get it somewhere else, then suddenly it got ready in no time. really bad service. will not recommend anyone to do business.
I brought my family in for their flu shots today. One of my daughters is quite afraid of needles. The man giving the shot did a wonderful job and was very compassionate and willing to work with me to help my daughter through this. However, that is not the most important part. After the shot my daughter was still hurting and crying. An employee named Pierre, approached us and asked if she would like some water. My daughter said yes and I expected him to get some tap water. a few minutes later he returned having purchased a bottled water for her. Such a lovely act of kindness. I don't post anything but this simple act of kindness deserved it. Thank you all for making this a more pleasant experience.
I found the staff very friendly an very helpful. I would just like to say that anyone that has worked in a retail environment would know that it is one of the hardest job out there. I would really like to remind people shopping at this stressful time of year please don't take out your frustration on your sales clerk. And if you have asked a question or have a complaint please listen to what they have to say. Remember it might not be the answer you want but they are there to do a job as best as they can. At this time of year line ups are going to be long an sometimes staff call in sick an can't be replace. An remember everyone has a bad day once in while.
Can I give less than 1 Star? For so many years I was a "prisoner" at PharmaPlus (now Rexall Pharma Plus) at Elmvale Shopping Center in Ottawa. They historically screwed up about 95% of both my wife and my Rx's! It was so bad they even gave me other peoples prescriptions and out of date medications!!! It was the most horrible experience. But, we tried and tried to stick around due to the ease of being able to go on foot. I complained so many times to the head office guys, the new pharma manager and anybody who would listen. NOPE!!!!! My words to describe them are very disturbing and quite profane!! NEVER will I return to this s@#t hole!!!
There are some good people working there but unfortunately it only takes a couple bad ones to screw it up. I've been a client for a very long time and have prescriptions that are very important for my well being. Two pharmacist always give me a difficult time. One in particular who first of all has no personality at all, never smiles and really doesn't seem to enjoy his job. He is rude with clients and will not go out of his way to help you. If he is working when I go in to have a prescription filled I will avoid him at all cost if possible. If you don't like what you do for a living, find something else.
Pharmacy review: I have been here many times over the 2 years I have lived in this area, they are so slow, uninterested in helping… every time EVERY TIME I am left waiting no less than 10 minutes! Line or no line! They do not care about their job it seems. It’s so frustrating! I will be changing pharmacies. Today was the last straw. I was waiting for 10 min. No one acknowledged me.. it was only me in line. There was at least 5 people back there… I’d understand if it was a few times out of the years but every time is unacceptable. I always hate going there so ya just going to switch pharmacies now.
As a customer I was pretty confused by the behavior of majority of the staff of this location (up front, aisles, and pharmacy). It is nice to see others on Google review had similar experiences with the customer service. To future customers wanting to run into a local Rexall for their needs, do not go into this location unless you could care less about how your treated. The location at Elmvale oozes energy that is negative. Take the time and go to the one at Billings Bridge. Very friendly and informational. I will be taking my complaint directly to head office Monday morning.
This store is so poorly staffed and stocked, prescriptions usually take longer than they say (our group plan even offers a discount at Rexall but we hardly use it for scripts because of this), and just now I had to go to the post office to collect a piece of registered mail to discover a sign saying it's closed for the next half hour. The Canada Post kiosk has business hours - why are they closed during these hours? I mean, it's obvious that it is due to only one person working there, but closing it is not an acceptable practice, this is not the first time I've seen this.
The pharmacy pretty consistently gives the wrong information about when or if prescriptions are ready or complete, leading to fruitless trips and delayed trips. That is the standard rather than the exception. Eventually everything works out, but if they could just get their act together and provide more accurate information over the phone, the experience would be so much better. Edit: despite all this, we still go there regularly becuase it is a valuable local business, and these minor annoyances don't take away from the important role this place plays in our community.
Terrible and rude service! The pharmacist assistant working at the drop off counter for prescriptions charged me $60 for my child’s prescription when it is covered for children under the Ontario government. When I told him that children are covered for prescriptions, he told me only certain groups of children are covered not my child, because he’s white! I tried to get my prescription back and he told me he already put it in the system and we would have to wait over an hour to get the antibiotics That my child needed. Never ever will I go back to this Rexall again .
Wow. Pharmacist was so rude. Wasn't on time with my prescription which, after surgery, is terribly painful. The prescription was faxed at noon however even after the pharmacist requested another 30 minutes at 1PM and it still wasn't ready until 2 PM. Not to mention instead of filling 2 of my prescriptions she rudely informed my mother to buy an over the counter version and "double up". This not only hurts me and causes ulcers it is also not refundable by my insurance. I will be calling head office, hopefully this is not how they treat all of their customers.
So far very unimpressed and I have worked in customer service. I called a day… A DAY… ahead. When I went in at the recommended time (“your prescription will be ready anytime past 12;00.”) They we’re not ready. I went in at 2:00 pm and lost 15 minutes of my lunch break. Then I’m told there’s a shortage of my second prescription (fine, that’s not their fault) and when I go back at the end of my workday at 4:00 they’re still not ready. They say to give them 30 minutes. You guys, this is insane. I give it one star because the pharmacist was wonderful with me.
The other reviews are true. Most rude entitled staff. Every time I come here it’s a different kind of incident, whether to another customer that I witness or to me. Latest incident takes the cake when they racially profiled me and started following me around the store for literally no reason. I have come here so many times, paid, never stolen, but all of a sudden I got 3 employees doing laps around me. The only reason this place is still in business is because of the location convenience, so they don’t care how they treat the customers.
The drugstore super lazy , for my mom's prescription several times I came here they said we have not received the prescription while they had it . They send me to bring paper copy when I got it they said we received the prescription. But you have to come back at night or 40 minutes waiting time. I accept 40 minutes waiting for the prescription. During this time they called your prescription is ready when I went to counter they said just one of your pill is ready you should wait until another pill will be ready. Sorry to come here
Worst Pharmacy staff I've ever encountered in Ottawa. Rude, will have a lineup of 10 people waiting to ask a question and won't help you. I tried calling before I went in and they refused to pick up their phone. I go in and it's just 2 guys sitting there listening to a phone ring and refusing to pick it up. The younger guy with a beard was rude to an older gentleman when I went in. My grandma warned me about this Pharmacy and she was right. Find literally ANY other Pharmacy in the city to use. Horrible staff.
would give less than a 1 if I could. I went in to pick up a parcel this weekend and no one was at the service counter, just a sign saying they would return in 30 mins. When I went to speak to the manager (Vicki) she was dismissive and rude and offered no help. By the time anyone arrived to help (after 30 mins) the people waiting there was a line up of 5 - 7 people --- some had just left. "short staffed" and "no one is trained" were the excuses offered. ever wonder why people stop coming to your location???
This pharmacy is probably one of the worst in the city. You can call two days ahead and your script won’t be ready. Today was my last straw. When I give you at least 24 hours notice it should be ready or they just short you on pills. The front end is great. But I do not recommend keeping any of your prescriptions here. Plus pharmacy customer service doesn’t care. I’m moving all scripts to shoppers as of today. I feel bad for the seniors that have to deal with this kind of service.
This Elmvale Rexall pharmacy REFUSES to answer the phone when they're busy, so you're left having to drive to the store to line up in person to find out the status of your faxed prescriptions order- which is typically NOT filled or more likely NOT even received. They have no explanation as to why their fax machine does NOT receive faxed in prescriptions from various doctors offices. Especially awful when coming back from extensive Dental surgery and in excruciating pain.
Unprofessional, rude and ignorant pharmacist ! I went to the pharmacy on February 27,2019 around 6:30 pm to get my prescription medicines unfortunately I spent more than an hour and I had to take my prescription back because the pharmacist both of them were lying to me. If those pharmacist continue working there i will never ever go again also all my friends and family members. There was a Muslim women with hijab she was very helpful and she tried her best thanks to her.
Some of the slowest medication fulfillment I have ever seen. It has happened multiple times where I call in, they claim it will be done by the same day's evening. Yet when I arrive they make me wait 30 minutes to fill the order. There has been times were I arrived days after the recommended arrival time, and yet the order has not been picked. I highly recommend using the app, as it will actually let you know if they did their job.
The pharmacy just sucks the rest is average- prescriptions never ready on time, staff ignores customers, pharmacist takes forever to explain things to you and then acts like you’re stupid. Switch pharmacies if possible!! Update: it’s been a year. Just this week I gave them over 3 days to fill a prescription. Just went to pick it up and was informed they haven’t started it or even looked at it <3 switching pharmacies right now.
Gets very busy very fast. Management could do better by hiring more folks. Good location to accomodate most of elmvale vicinity. Stock is full most of the times. Has Canada Post inside. Also has Pharmacy and a dedicated Pharmacists on premises for any questions. I'd recommend to always check their flyer before your purchase. Has plenty of parking space in front and wheelchair friendly. Budget friendly: 3/5*
The pharmacist that was working tonight is very rude and inconsiderate. I needed my son's prescription done, which we just came back from hospital. It was a puffer and he refused cause he said he was to busy and to come back tomorrow so now I'm going home with a asmatic kid who as no puffer. Cause he was too busy. Now I don't have my son's prescription. If they are overwhelmed maybe get more staff to help
The pharmacist at this location is simply aweful!! In 4 experiences with him he has always been rude, impatient and unaccomdating. He makes my wife and I feel very uncomfortable and I will not be returning to this location unless a new pharmacist is placed here. Such a shame as it's close to our house. He is just so rude like we're inconveniencing him by bringing him business. Please replace him!!!
I've lived next door and used this pharmacy for years, so I am well placed to say the medical pharmacy portion of this rexall is the worst I've ever seen or could imagine. Their wait times are horrendous, lack complete courtesy, and are disorganized in the extreme. Not sure if it's understaffing issue, but I've often gone to the Shoppers on Walkley instead and have had amazing service.
Been coming to the post office at this location for 7years now and i just had a upsetting experience getting my parcel. I would always come and see Andrea here but a guy was on duty tonight, he never greets people and he was grumpy, I ask him regarding my parcel and he just told me my package have not come yet when he has all the new packages right next to him. Very rude and arrogant!
Karim the pharmacist was very helpful in helping me pick an array of over the counter medications for my sick son. He works very carefully to prepare the prescription and recognized a dosing mistake was made by the physician. He provided the counselling for the medication while his assistant called the MD. The new manager is also very excellent. I would recommend this store.
Andrea, the post office clerk is very awesome!!! She is the best at customer service, I would always get my package at this location and she goes go and beyond any customer service representative at this location. Very satisfied with how she help me on my concerns regarding my packages everytime. So, look for her everytime you have any post office concerns.
Convenient location for picking up Canada post packages. Their hours are good especially for people who work because their open past 6pm. The parking lot here is a mess sometimes because of all their stop signs I can definitely see this causing accidents. This rexall also carries the m&m line in one of their freezers which is great. Overall it’s a good location.
This is the worst pharmacy ever! They are so rude when you call in a prescription refill. They are extremely disorganized , and very unprofessional. I have told my elderly mother to give her business to another pharmacy, as I have also done. They make you cry in frustration, and feel stupid in asking for any help. This pharmacy should close permanently !
Take your prescription somewhere else. Extremely disorganized, long lines, and rude pharmacy workers who will treat you like you're inconveniencing them when they have to do their jobs. More than once told me that my insurance did not cover a medication, then changed their minds after being told that my insurance previously covered it at this pharmacy.
It's one of the worst pharmacy with pharmacists.Always rude and never helped people. When we need help in the pharmacy area, they told every time to ask rexall store people. Today, they told us it's ILLIGAL TO DO SHADDOING at rexell. I think one healthcare professional should help another healthcare professional.Nothing is ILLIGAL.
I tried to transfer my prescription back to them after 2 whole days of phone calls only to find out that they were “waiting on the transfer” this is because they wouldn’t even answer the phone from other pharmacies to accept my medication. Also horrible customer service and a lack of communication. This is no longer my pharmacy.
Every time I get a prescription here no matter how far I call in advance it’s never ready! Sometimes when I go to pick it up they say they still need to fax the Doctor, even though I called it in days ago! One pharmacist in particular (I think his name is Mohamed?) is always rude and treats me like I’m an inconvenience to him!
This store is conveniently located. If going in for 1 or 2 things.... it's okay. But the layout is different. Have had several good and several uncomfortable experiences at the cash. Have also on more than one occasion found expired items on the shelf (by more than a month or two). Maybe due to lack of staff.
My mother recently went to this rexall just looking for a drug store near by so that she can take her prescriptions from here. She described the customer service as non existent. Not even a hello or anything just cold and depressing environment. Honestly from a rexall I expected just a little bit better.
The pharmacist couldn’t have been more ignorant if she tried. I call 3 hours in advance to get my meds picked up and they tell me come back in 40 minutes every time so I’ve decided to switch to online rather than this place. In the 5 times I’ve had to pickup this year, not once has it been ready on time
They take very long to dispense prescriptions , I'm talking about days here, they guy that receives the prescriptions is very rude and they charge 12.99 for the prescription dispense. Horrible service even when they say your prescription is ready you have to wait at least 30 min to receive it
Unprofessional and rude staff and supervisors all together. Never go and waste your time. You will never see me again your staff needs training to talk nicely and so do the supervisors who do not know how to rectify their staff tone. Its not police station you guys are running its a pharmacy.
Terrible attitude from pharmacist who is to lazy and couldn't be bothered to get off his ass to great the customers. Extremely rude. Asked for the manager who also seemed bothered. Way to go Rexall you employ quality people! It is worth the extra drive to go to shoppers.
The pharmacy is slow but only because they are so insanely busy with patients and with the shortage of pharmacists in Ontario, i'm not surprised. They've been super understanding when I explained needing my medication for a certain time, and they usually pull through.
Emvale rexall .. Afto Advice Better Hours on Here .. They Said 10pm. Everyday even on holidays .. Today Good Friday They Close At 6pm.. But On Google here , Not Showing They Hour.. To Say/Show To Customers They wright Hours of Openning , So, We Don't Go For Nothing..
Terrible counter service, lack of knowledge. Ignorance. Had to call different stores and return the the hospital over a week. After which I was rejected my refund. They could've faxed for me the first day receiving but I guess that's why we prefer shoppers anyways
Really impressed with the client service / pharmacists at this Rexall Elmvale location. Friendly, efficient, and organized! Well done and thanks for taking the time to care for your clients... no easy task these days and often a forgotten art. See you again soon.
Most unprofessional pharmacy ive been to. They tell you be there at a certain time but it is never ready. Today was the last straw they didnt even process it by the time they told me it would be ready. Had to wait 45 minutes in store. Will never come here again.
I'm reviewing my experience at the Canada Post post office. Andrea was very friendly, informative, polite and pleasant while helping me at the post office to pick up a package. I had the greatest possible experience at the Canada Post post office up to date.
This place should be a Shoppers Drug Mart. Rexalls in general are poorly ran with employees who hate their job and they never have good sale items in stock. This location is no different. The staff are insufferable, ESPECIALLY the post office and pharmacy!
Incomprehensible attitude. Mind-boggling. Unconcerned. Always tell you "ready in a few minutes", then you can be waiting for up to an hour. Gentleman behind counter said "We don't like to tell customers to wait for a long time". Makes me feel disrespected.
Purchase gift cards for family members for birthdays at this store, then give them out to find that none of them worked and had to call at the stores that where the gift cards were purchased for and had to spend a week to chase them down to
Very unimpressed and not satisfied with the costumer service I was given. I couldn't agree more with the reviews I read on here. The staff defentily need a wake up call and learn to do their job better, such as shoppers drug mart that never
I challenge you to get your prescriptions correct from this pharmacy more than 50% of the time. It never happens. Whether they don't (or properly) bill your insurance, you aren't given the correct quantities of pills, or simply not having
I drop in from time to time on my way to work. I was impressed yesterday with my experience. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. The clerk was friendly and helpful. This is the best this location has been in quite a while.
Absolute horror show. Negative 10 stars. How is this place still in busines? Well it certainly wont be for long. Absolutely deplorable how they treat their customers in this place. They couldnt seem to care less if their customers all
My father was confused about the process of the transaction and the cashier (Latisha) felt the need to raise her voice and proceeded to yell at my father with unnecessary attitude. Awful customer service, I'm incredibly disappointed.
Don't use this pharmacy. The staff is unhelpful, rude and judgemental. Forget about getting any sort of prescription on time, and God forbid you need help with contraception. Save yourself the duress and go to another pharmacy.
Not a great pharmacy. They regularly mess up faxes, today literally every one in line had something wrong (on the pharmacy's part) with their prescription, they have too few people manning the cash for the number of customers.
This has got to be the worst pharmacy to try and get a hold of, they NEVER answer the phone; prescriptions are rarely ready, (even when you get a robot call saying they are.) Get with it people; don't like your job, move on.
Store does not always open on time Saturday morning because the pharmacist can't get out of bed on time. This morning, Dec 18, it was 20 after 8 and the store still wasn't open. I will shop elsewhere from now on. Good bye
Rexalls are generally good, but this location is the worst especially staff at the pharmacy are incredibly unfriendly, cold and unwilling to help.. If management is reading this, please do something about your staff.
Worst place ever!! Not only do we wait a long time to get served, but the prescription is almost never ready when I go get it!! Sometimes it takes them a good 10 minutes to even find it!! I’m done with them.
Bit slow to greet customers waiting at the pharmacy counter, but were very good at giving me my COVID vaccine. (Avoid the pharmacy counter and go to the blue consultation room to the right of the counter.)
This has to be the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. Their organization and attention to detail is so poor you will probably die of old age or whatever you need drugs for before you get any medication here.
Thoroughly uninterested in helping you and very slow turnaround time for prescriptions. Better to keep a clinic farther away that is efficient than to pick a clinic where they aren’t trying to help you.
The Post office is excellent service at 1910 St. Laurent Rexall Shopping centre. I Believe his name is Michel he is a very caring, kind Gentleman. Very Professional. Thankyou God Bless you
Sometimes make mistakes on your prescriptions, or misplace them..are very incompetent pharmacy staff, including pharmasist. Always double check, and phone to remind them about you.
Pharmacy has been fine, no complaints there but the cosmetics and front counter staff have been pretty rude, or confused on their products or return policy. Really frustrating.
I'm giving 1 star because it's. Not possible to give 0. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to never have prescriptions ready on time no matter how much time you give them
Took 4 phone calls before they answered, they let the phone ring for several minutes. Just put me on hold if you are busy, don't ignore your job.
Very slow, never answer their phone, never fill prescriptions on time. Lost my prescription info. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced
Randomly close the post office without any notifications. You just have to walk in and hope they might be open on their posted hours.
Bad experience with 1725 Walkley road Rexall, not 1900 St-Laurent, although I cannot remove my post...
Dropped a prescription off at 8 am went in at 5 pm to pick it up still wasn't ready terrible service
I waited an extra 20 minutes for my prescription. But overall friendly and good service.
Never has prescriptions ready on time and always making you wait longer
