I had a horrific experience with a female at the pharmacy today. She refused to exchange my sharps container in direct contradiction of the ontario sharps program. She treated me like i was violating some non existent rules and i walked away from the place feeling humiliated. I'm new too home globulin infusions and already feel awkward and exposed when exchanging containers. My usual pharmacy is often out and infusions every 3 days creates a surprising amount of biohazard waste. I stammered that i have been to several pharmacies over last 4 months and have never had a problem and i would never shop there again and with a straight face she said "thats ok". Literally go any where else then here! Terrible place. No medical professional should ever treat some one like that.
I am a nurse at a clinic and was asked to call in a verbal order from a doctor for a patient. When I called the tech that answered the phone was extremely rude and stated I had to either wait 1 hour or fax the order in. I explained to him that it was a verbal order and I did not have a prescription to fax and the doctor wasn't at the clinic at that time. The tech stated either wait the hour or fax and then hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Absolutely no customer service skills at all. I tried to call the pharmacy back and he ignored my calls. I understand they are busy but so are we. I am the only nurse at a very busy clinic and I would never treat anyone like that. If I could give a 0 star I would! This is not the first time!
I went in to fill my prescription and being the only person waiting, I thought it wouldn’t be a long wait. I was wrong, the pharmacist not only was rude to me to begin with but she filled my prescription, saw the incoming pharmacist, her replacement, got changed and left. Never called my name or told the other pharmacist that I was waiting for a prescription. After watching the first pharmacist walk away, I went and inquired about my prescription and the new pharmacist had no idea I was waiting. She apologized (for the other careless and rude pharmacist) and gave my prescription right away. A world of difference between these two professionals.
Small-town feel to this place. Relaxed. You see the same helpful people. It's also clean. They seems to remember me and/or they remember my medications that they were working on and know what is going on. The pharmacists are so nice and they take the time to explain things as they are actually the ones at the cash. It's does mean waiting in line for an extra few minutes, but they are efficient and it's worth it. [My old pharmacy was crazy busy, even if there wasn't a long line up. The staff always seemed harried and there was high turnover. Staff wore dirty of lab coats, as if they just inherited them from the last person to leave.]
I'm a 17 year old type one diabetic and I am regularly picking up insulin, seringes, etc. You know, the stuff that keeps me alive. Almost everytime I call in to pick up my medication, I get something different than what I asked for on the phone. This has caused me to go full nights with no long-acting insulin because I was given two bottles of quick-acting instead of one of each bottle like I always get. I never realise I'm missing what I need until I get home and the pharmacy is closed (I usually go around 9pm). All that being said I'm tired of getting screwed over and plan on switching pharmacys asap.
Usually very good service but not so much this morning. I buy the Saturday star there in a weekly basis but didn’t see it there this morning. When I asked the cashier if they had any she ignored me and when I asked again she said “apparently not, if you don’t see it” I was the only customer. When I asked about exchanging de caff coffee that I’d bought by mistake I could see she was getting irritated so I just left. I’ve never seen this cashier in there before, maybe she was just having a bad morning but I wasn’t satisfied with the service.
The manager (Josiane) is racist towards inuit/aboriginals. So if you are steer clear or be prepared to be accosted simply because of your pigment, facial structure, and hair colour. The assistant manager (Rachel) walks around the store without a uniform on. An employee named Myles is also completely incompetent. Any review with a 4 or 5 star rating is either an employee at this Rexall (one example being a review written by "someone" named Myles. A coincidence isn't it?) or is a fake profile.
I get angry when I get dropped. Try to be quick. 6 diet coke were both at food basics and rexall for 4.99, decided to walk to rexalls to get senior discount. Surprise. They charged me 5.99 for diet coke I got .20 cents off the diet coke. It was my first attempt at a seniors discount. New reward card. No more. Back to shoppers. No hidden costs. The advertised price is the price. Not upped by 1. To forget your discount. Hogwash.
Cannot believe that they are in business. Tried to get a prescription but I was bothering them with a question. Tried to get something that required a plastic bag to carry. Nope. Asked why and once again I was bothering them. They have no idea of what a customer is and don't care to know. The worst store I have been in in years maybe decades. Just noticed that this is a usual thing for this store from other reviews.
I have used this location for many years. The pharmacy staff have always been amazing! They know me by name, they know my wife and son by name. When I lost my first child Tracy cried with me! Tracy makes it her job to know what's going on! These people care about their customers and I come out of my way to continue shopping and having my prescriptions filled here!
The staff is friendly enough, but this may be the most painful place on earth to get prescriptions refilled. I have NEVER ONCE called in a prescription and actually walked in to find it ready on time. It always gets lost, or moved, or there's some confusion. Every. Single. Time. It's brutal.
Worst pharmacy ever! Pharmacists here are very lazy, rude and unprofessional. If you decide to go here expect a long wait even if you’re the only customer. And if you need anything in the store and you need some help, forget about it. Better buy from a depaneur or a convenient store.
This pharmacy doesn't seem to stock 30 Crestor pills at a time. This is a common medication. You have to call a week before you need your medication renewal. The pharmacist runs the cash during the evening so there is often a wait to pay for your medication.
I mostly went here for my prescriptions and the pharmacy is pretty busy sometimes but they're pretty good. Most of the pharmacists will at least greet you and let you know they'll be a second if they're in the middle of something.
Expect to wait. The store has good deals but the pharmacy is unbearably disorganized. Appointment times are never honored, prescription pick up times are never accurate, and ten minutes will usually turn into 30 minutes.
That Rexall is the best Rexall I've ever been to the staff is so nice my favorite is the manager josiane is amazing so is Danica the assistant and the supporting cast Myles steals the show's with the lottery
I believe Josiane the manager is totally professional. I have been shopping here for fifteen years. She is the best Manager l have witnessed. Kind and helpful. This woman knows how to manage a store!
Always helpful friendly just a lovely mom & pop shop i cal it. I left Shoppers to come here cause at this pharmacy your not just a number like at shoppers. would tell anyone to go here.
This phamacy has one of the slowest time for refilling prescriptions. If you are planning to go in and have it done within your lunch hour, best not go there on your lunch hour.
Not very busy. Close to a lot of stores being at Hampton Park. Haven't seen a lineup in months. Pharmacy can usually filled your script while you do your shopping in the plaza.
The pharmacists at the Hampton Park Rexall are extremely inconsiderate and rude. Not to mention, they don't seem to care about the customers and what the customer needs.
Horrible service at the pharmacy by tracy and the pharmasist. They are very unprofessional and rude to the customers. Pick Shoppers if you can instead of this Rexall.
Such an incredible team at this pharmacy - patient, empathetic, and always friendly. Thank you all so much for the incredible service you provide!
A clean and pleasant store with good selection and prices. You can get your flu shot for free during the Fall months and staff are very courteous.
Puts in less than zero effort into accommodating preferred names, always takes weeks to get prescriptions, staff is very rude and inconsiderate.
Quite a disorganized pharmacy. Long wait times that don’t make sense. On permanent hold when you call. Would take your business elsewhere.
Brought my parents here for their COVID vaccines and the staff at the pharmacy were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
They told me 5 minutes waiting for a prescription, and we waited 40, in pain on my way home from the hospital.
Be more available at front cash when people are ready to check out.
They have a very pleasant staff very helpful and great deals …
They seem to have a “we don’t care if you shop here attitude “
Its your run of the mill pharmacy.
