Our experience is usually pleasant...unfortunately one of Canada Post employees Marc was not only demeaning and rude but provided us with zero will to look into the issue. Marc felt entitled enough to suggesting we try and remember "basic grade 12 math". Not only that but spoke of us rudely telling his co workers that we "want this service and nothing more and nothing less" as if it was an issue that we wanted to use a specific service hat we've used multiple times. Smuggly said "have a wonderful day" as we were leaving. This type of customer service is not only abhorant but really goes to show the level of authority and disrespect that employees believe they have over customers. Someone who is not only rude but also lacks the availability to understand customer service should not be working and or be in the care of any package you hope to deliver. We've gone ahead and reached out to head offices due to the extreme level of incompetence and disrespect and we no longer feel comfortable leaving our packages within their care. If I'm asking a question about a policy, I do not need 'basic math' explained to me. If I can go and google that question on my phone outside, figure it out on my own, come back, and try to clarify the misunderstanding, making it clear that i dont want an issue, but that I found the tone to rude and condescending, and the only response is 'you're doing a bang up job'. I don't understand how any customer service training would ever instruct to speak to customers like this.
I avoid this place like the plague and moved my pharmaceutical business to another local, competent supplier yesrs ago. Only use the postal outlet but that stopped today. Minimally useful staff that don't have the smarts to get out of their own way. Case in point today. Had to drop off some packages at the postal outlet. Mr. Helpful at the front cash watched me walk by, packages in hand, saying nothing about the new outlet hours. He was aware of the change and indicated it took place two weeks ago when later asked. Wasn't worth asking why that wasn't relayed when he saw me come in. Greenstreet for all our pharmacy needs now.
Would rate even lower then 1 star if I could. I Was given additude from the "pharmacist" named Nishita for wanting to filling a prescription I have filled every month for the last 10 years. She said that I need to contact my doctor if I need to fill my prescription that much, even though thats been the recommendation of my doctor for the last 10 years. She then said that she would fill it this time, but next time she doesn't know if she will. Seems like she doesn't know alot. Poor service won't be going back.
Most of the Pharmacy staff is amazing and helpful. But this lady Anne is just not the right person for this profession. I hope they let Anne go or teach her to be kinder to patients. She is rude. She keeps you on hold for longest time ever, comes back and put you on hold for another 7 mins. This happened to me multiple times. She always sounds in rush and make things complicated when ordering multiple medications. Pharmacist has to have patience and attentiveness. She is in rush and lacks attentiveness.
Pharmacy staff are for the most part professional and really helpful. They always sort out problems Dr's office prescriptions (late, etc.) and refills. Due to Covid-19, some of the staff are easily agitated and tell you to back up if you approach the counter (with plexiglass) without waiting 2 meters back, which can quickly be considered as rude. Perhaps a better sign with simple "please wait here" would help. I thought the protected glassed in counter was a statement on its own saying come on up.
CANADA POST: They changed their hours (less open hours) and didn't update it on the delivery notice stickers left at the door.... They also didn't even bother to update their hours on Google.... Honestly it's a huge customer dissatisfaction to drive to a location that is advertised everywhere as open, just to find that they changed their hours. Do better Canada Post in Rexall on Greenbank, do better.
Drugstores provide a service to administer vaccines for a fee of $20.00...I was recently there for a vaccine...I was told their busiest day of the week is Monday, so I went Friday. The pharmacist seemed very annoyed with having to provide this service...if it was not a good time, I would rather be told than to be treated like I'm an annoyance!!! Very RUDE!!!!
Not recommend this store no matter what’s on your subscription they always let you wait even when I'm picking up ready-made medications that don't require any processing, just taking them off the shelf. The first time, I waited for an hour, and the second time, I waited for half an hour, even though I didn't see many customers ahead of me.
To be fair, I have not had a problem with getting prescriptions but I am extremely dissappointed that the post office was closed. There are a lot of seniors who don't drive who are going to miss this service. I think sales are going to drop as the only postal outlet nearby is Shopper's Drugmart. You have brought this on yourselves.
I’ve come here many times before to fill my prescriptions, and I’ve not had the greatest experience in service. But today was much different. Daniella was very accommodating, she listened, and she did her ultimate best when it came to the insurance for the coverage on my medicine. Also NEW Canada Post Office
Multiple times I was made to feel pretty awful about the need for a certain medication. They shorted me multiple times. And made constant mistakes when my doctor would adjust my dosage. Had to switch pharmacies for my medication. Shopping there is not a problem. The staff at the front are great.
II have been a client at that store for years. The service is very fast, efficient, friendly personnel and a very good variety of products with competitive pricing. That is my " go to " local pharmacy. I rate them as a 5 star store. Thanks you for your services.
Excellent service including pharmacy. They had a few problems years ago but so much better. Rarely wait. Easy Rx refills and helpful staff. So glad a bunch of people chose to leave this place as they were jerks to the staff. Knowledgeable and fast Rx refills.
I have had some pretty terrible experiences with pharmacists over the years, but I have nothing but positive things to say about Rexall Barrhaven, specifically over the past year or so. Accommodating, reasonable, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I’m not even from barrhaven. I went there to buy a few things. They accused me of stealing and kicked me out of the store and told me to never come back. They apparently had me on video but I’ve never been to that store before
I am sick and tired of the miserable lady working at the pharmacy. She is rude and never with a smile. Even my neighbour agrees she is not nice. If you don't like your job, get a new one. (Blonde hair and glasses)
I was given the wrong prescription here I asked for follow up information from the manager and from the pharmacy nobody followed up. Can you imagine how many seniors are in danger by this type of care??
Don't check their products and offers are regularly expired. Always check bread dates since I always find expired ones on the shelf and if there's a 2 for deal sometimes they're expired
I live nearby This is a really good store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Products are excellent value. And I find the small grocery section very handy.
Product quality and choice is amazing. I found a trendy handbag. The store is clean, well organized and I had a wonderful shopping experience.
Great service provided by the pharmacist Tigran. He made sure the medication I got for my child was OHIP covered.
Efficient pharmacy and a good selection of toiletries, medical supplies and convenience goods...
Need to adjust your hours on Google on your closing, Mr Store Manager or Pharmacist.
Terrible service from the pharmacist and never plan on going back.
Staff always friendly here and on top of the prescriptions.
You can find what you are looking for and that's it
Friendly staff food service and selection
