I am tired of a Pharmacy that doesn’t seem to put their customers first. I left this pharmacy a year ago because I moved. I tried a pharmacy closer to where I lived, and they just couldn’t seem to get things right. I went back to Wellesley as it was better than the other one. Now they have picked up the poor service of the pharmacy I had left. Perhaps my expectations are too high? I should think with everything on computers, there is no excuse for the recent events. Two weeks ago, I went into the pharmacy to pick up my blister pack. It was a Saturday evening, one day later than I typically would pickup my medication. At this point, I was out of my medication and dropped in so I would be able to get back on track. I waited 10 minutes to be served and when I was, another customer stepped up to say she was waiting with her friend who had just been served. They weren’t together. I waited another 5 minutes before being able to request my blister pack. It then took the pharmacy team member another 10 minutes before locating my medication. When she did, she asked me to wait 10 minutes as it had not yet been checked. How is it possible that an order I should’ve picked up the previous day was not ready?? I had already invested 25 minutes and still no medication. I could wait no longer… and left. I picked up the medication the following day and relayed my disappointment. Yesterday, I called to see if Ozempic was in stock. I was told that there was no stock available, and would not be available until Monday. This is quite concerning… It is required that I take this medication for diabetes on the same day of each week. I typically take this medication on Saturday morning. Calling the pharmacy on Saturday and finding out that they are out of stock, leads me to believe that they do not have the capacity to take care of their customers. So many people are taking Ozempic for weight loss, I need it to maintain my health. It is incredibly frustrating that this is not available to me, when I need it. Is there a pharmacy in the city of Toronto that takes customer service seriously??! It looks like I will have to change Pharmacy’s, yet again!!

I went to this location with my husband on Sunday, and experienced the most uncomfortable and rude situation in my life. So my husband went upstairs to buy deodorant, I stayed downstairs wanted to try some creams and sunscreens from La Roche Posay. As I picked up one sunscreen tester in my hand, a female staff named Jackie quickly came close and tried to grab the tester from me, but because I already opened the lid and was about to squeeze some on my wrist, she then said "just one drop". Well that's what I was gonna do anyways so I did it, then she quickly grabbed the tester from me and put it back, at the same time she said "There are cheap options upstairs if you want"............... wow.... I almost couldn't believe she said that, so rude and condescending. I was shocked and felt very uncomfortable. I don't know if it's just this location or it's like that in every Rexall, but I'll avoid going there from now on.

I made an appointment for 6:35pm for my Covid shot. I checked in like I was asked to do and I was the only one there. Then 5 people showed up after me and all got their shots before me. Not until I said something did they even akwnoledge I was there waiting. They did not even appologize for wasting my time only, "we are understaffed today" yet there were NO CUSTOMERS there when I got there and 6 people behind in the pharmacy. Then at 7:00pm sent the new guy in on his first day to give me my shot. If they are this incompetent at executing a simple detailed timeline I would never trust them to fill my prescriptions. I actually will never bring my business there again!!! Shoppers Drug Mart has better prices and a better respect for their customers!!!! A simple apology would have gone a long way. I would give this rexall no stars but you have to give at least one star to post this.

Terrible pharmacy service, disorganized and understaffed that the manager makes excuses for not answering the phone. Take your medication to a different pharmacy. The pharmacist's excuse is he is understaffed. The problem is I was there two days ago and instead of looking for my medication, I was told to wait for delivery. Can't arrange delivery if they never answer the phone and this is a repeated problem for several months now. I had to take time from my graduate studies to go there again only to learn they couldn't find the blister packs. It's because the meds were inadvertently placed in an unmarked pile and I am terribly inconvenienced by this pharmacy. In the last six months I have seen this pharmacy become disorganized that calls are put on hold for a long time and waiting is excessive to arrange delivery. Terrible service!

Visiting from out of town (vancouver) ended up with a sinus infection. Had my clinic back home send in an antibiotic. They kept insisting they never recieved it so I had the clinic fax it three times. Nothing. Finally sent it to shoppers. They immediately got it and it was ready within an hour. Clearly they messed up. I had the right fax they gave me. Thanks for litterally ruining my vacation since I lost a whole day of my mini vacation waiting on a presciption that could have made me feel infinitely better. Also the lady at the pharmacy the night before didnt help me at all when I asked for l-theanine so I could get some sleep. She just rolled her eyes said they prob didn’t have it and kept talking with her colleague about her weekend plans.

They mix up prices very often, rude customer service they treat you as if they are doing you a big favor serving you. Today I had the same situation with the price change. I bought a reusable mask priced 4.99 I was charged 9.99 When I noticed the mistake I was told that 9.99 is the price and I was wrong, I had to go upstairs and take a pic of the item including the price and show it to the guy, he did not believe me, went upstairs to check it himself and came back looking upset as if it was my fault.... He whispered a mumbling "sorry" I would never set foot there if it wasn't for the convenience of the distance.

After standing awkwardly for a few mins waiting to be acknowledged by one of four people behind the pharmacy counter, I Asked the pharmacist where to find a product and he just pointed with his pen and said "right there". "Right there" was in the middle of an aisle and he kept shouting "right there" when I was looking in the aisle and couldn't find it. I was visibly unwell and needed something to help me with the side effects of 4 strong antibiotics I'm on and he couldn't come around to show me where the product was. I've had better customer service at Walmart.

They have multi floor store. They have almost every shampoo to conditioner and bathing stuff. They have usually great deals on perfume and their top floor have clearance section. I have added some pictures for clarity of the things especially with women hygiene and requirement. They have Clinique L’Oréal and some other tablets. You should visit this raxall as they also have an atm outside the store. It’s a nice huge store and there is a lot of options to see. The ground floor has mainly makeup and perfumes with jewelry and Claire’s items. Along with drinks.

Located in the heart of Toronto's Gay Village, this Rexall Pharma Plus is a convenient store to stop at on the way home from the Yonge Street TTC Subway line. Just a few steps down the block from the Wellesley Street subway station, this store provides a good selection of personal care products and grocery store essentials. The pharmacy, located on the second floor, has friendly and knowledgeable staff. If your looking for a drug store with an understanding of LGBT needs this is a good place to stop by to pick up a few products.

I very rarely leave a review ... but I had to leave one for this pharmacy and truly remarkable staff... I've never had such excellent customer service at any other pharmacy EVER! Leo, Stephanie, and the rest of the pharmacists and staff are always helpful, extremely friendly and always ready to help! They take the time and always meet and exceed my expectation! Please consider this review a way to say thank you for all you do! I've only been a customer for 6 months ... and now I go to shop there at least once a week :)

Very well stocked Recall store. 2 levels with pharmacy upstairs. Escalator inside the store is really nice, it's very rare for this kind of stores. They also have a lot of groceries in a main floor so it could be more than a first aid and lot better than convenient stores around. Pros: - Good location, walking distance to Wellesley subway station - Very well stocked, including groceries - Two levels with an escalator in store Cons: - Staff are kind, but not a lot knowledgeable about the products

I forgot something while I was in another store earlier and I saw there was Rexall nearby. I was uncomfortable for the entire visit. They watched me like a hawk from the time I stepped in the store, shopping, checking out and even when I leaving that store! I was a visible minority and a paying customer. I shouldn’t have to be watched like I am some sort of thief. At least the cashier at the front end was friendly but it’s not enough for me to come back to the store anytime soon. Disappointed.

  • Metro Phobia

The pharmacy here is a joke, seven or eight months ago it was fine, now I have to wait more than 24 hours every time I refill one of my prescriptions, When I get there it's not filled and I have to wait. I've been going to this pharmacy for 9 years and it is just garbage now, so unorganized. Spending over $500 a month on medication for the past 9 years You would think there would be some kind of appreciation or service there, but no ... I am officially taking my business elsewhere

  • Jill Mench-Kumar

Thank You so much to the Pharmacy staff at your store. Anyone I dealt with on the phone was very helpful and accommodating. I had missed the cut off for 1pm delivery but really needed my medication urgently. They were able to put in a rush delivery so I could receive it today, instead of having to wait another day. Thank You so much I greatly appreciate the above and beyond customer service. Definitely will use your store again in future.

  • Bob Harrison

If it wasn't for the great pharmacy staff at the store I frequent, I wouldn't go to Rexall to shop as their prices recently have gone up too high...higher than Shoppers Drug Mart! If money isn't an issue for you, it's a nice, fully stocked store. Every Tuesday seniors get 20% off regular (over) priced items and they do have weekly flyer specials. Know your prices, shop around.

The pharmacist sent me to another pharmacy without checking if the drug was first covered by my plan. This happened in summer and she apologized but it was an absolute waste of my time. The problem is management and frequent changes in pharmacists that are not efficient. They really don't know what is going on with clients and have become extremely understaffed.

I cannot even speak the words that make me want to let people know about how amazing Yan Nan is. I think he is the best pharmacist and she is now at this store after being in Scarborough. I am sad that he left her Scarborough store but I will go anywhere where he is because he provided excellency care. Thank you Yan Nan for all the great work you are doing!

  • Lyle Green

They have pretty good sale pricing. Pharmacy is quite good and helpful. Only thing I dont like is their house brand of food. Where Shoppers Drug has PC products and Life Brand, Rexall has a second rate line which I haven't ever found to be nearly as good for quality. So stick to name brand items. Paper towels and toilet paper aren't very good either.

  • Matthew Hebert

It doesn’t matter how much time I give the pharmacy (have tested a 24 hour theory), the prescription is never ready. I always have to wait or come back. The bonus star is only given to the convenience of auto ordering refills. Will be switching pharmacies to somewhere that cares about their patient’s time and ultimately their bottom line.

  • Tony Voshmgir

Please be careful about shopping at this location!! Check expiry dates on the product you are buying if possible. I bought an M&M Shepherds Pie at this location and had to throughout after it was cooked as it had expired!! I also bought fragrances at two different occasions and once I got home and I opened them, they had expired!!!!!!

  • Caitlin Madley

Usually disorganized with opened boxes in the back of the store. Pharmacy staff is rude and not compassionate. But they have a great selection of vitamins, and everything else under the sun. I find their prices high in comparison to competitors, but when they have sales they can be really great with prices!

  • Blake

Selling simple COVID-19 masks 10 for $10 ($1 per mask). This is profiteering. I wont return to this Rexall location. Edit: just got to TGH to visit a relative who is sick and they’re giving out masks for free which are better quality than these REXALL brand masks! Absurd.

  • adah price

Chico would not refill my prescription for birth control because it was "not life threatening". He said "come back in 10 days after we have processed our backlog of people who really need meds". Obviously a value judgment on birth control. I'm shocked Rexall employs him.

  • Lady Minx Pimpington

I really enjoy coming to this Rexall! I've never had any problems and the pharmacists have always gone above and beyond to ensure I get my medication. I appreciate all that they do for me and feel that they genuinely care about my health and well being. Thank you kindly.

  • Eric

There is an old woman, who knows nothing but she is a supervisor. Avoid her, she is rude as hell, and feels like she lost all her parents, husbands and children. Avoid her, terribly rude. She told me she couldn’t refund anything paid by gift card, what a lie.

  • Joshua Diesel

Yesterday I went to inquire about A COVID vaccine Dealt with a young man his name is Roman he was very professional and very courteous. Roman thank you for your Empathy it goes A long way. And the fact that you are A gorgeous man makes it better NO ATTITUDE.

  • .

Right when you enter, there's a security guard wearing a bulletproof vest with his arms crossed and his legs spread apart!! You're wondering where did I step in?!?! Condescending look in his eyes tops it off for the most unpleasant welcome. Not going back.

  • Sashine B.

This store is convenient, but the wait in the lineup to check out can be long because, usually, they have only one cashier open. If Shoppers Drug Mart can have three or four cashiers open, then why can't this store do the same when more are needed?

  • Zarina Tariq

The customer service here is phenomenal. So much better than any Shoppers drug mart. Especially the pharmacy section. They are patient and understanding on the phone and also in person. The best pharmacy experience in Toronto I’ve had so far.

  • Ryen Martel

Karen helped me out and was extremely friendly, polite, and went above and beyond to make my experience awesome. I literally looked right at her nametag to make sure I could come give her the props she deserves.

  • howard moore

Package of 6 Bounty paper towels $17.99!!!!! Shame on you for gouging people in this time of need. I'm going to share this widely on social media, absolutely disgusting.

  • Mike Platt

The usual selection of items expected at a drug store and at reasonable prices, open 8 am- midnight every day, limited food including milk and eggs and it's unionised.

  • Heather Barry

Decent selection for beauty/hair/general necessities, food stuffs are a little lacking. Priced similarly to Shoppers Drug Mart, very friendly staff at this location.

  • Jad Jaber

The staff upstairs at the pharmacy are unprofessional: disorganized and unable to support the needs of the customer . The gentleman in charge is dismissive and rude

  • Zulfikar G

I've been on hold by the pharmacist for 23 minutes ... but GOOGLE shows the store is less busier than usual. Time to move my prescriptions elsewhere.

  • Nick Chia Liang

First time I feel I’m not welcomed. Most of them are nice. Today this lady just seems doesn’t want to be there. She just wanna read her magazine.

  • Shallibodhran

Friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is very thorough and the makeup and beauty section are always useful with information and suggestions.

  • Jonathan Zhang

Im a repeat customer to this Rexall because the pharmacist there Roman smells like a gentle chrysanthemum from the south of France

  • Qixue Zheng

Doesn’t allow any return, but I wasn’t informed when I buy it. The attitude of staff at the counter is bad. Really disappointed.

  • Luís Eduardo Abatti

Nice staff and a great variety of items. They tend to be a bit more expensive than the average, but sales are pretty common.

  • Adam Beaudoin

More than just your average drug store. Has cards, snacks, beverages. Very clean and organized. Most staff are pleasant.

  • Arthur Taylor

The pharmacist was very helpful and accommodating. Great discounts on household products all the time. Friendly staff!

  • Sean Simpson

Usually fairly quiet and fully stocked. Prices could be better, but the trade off is getting air miles.

  • Jordan Kerr

Goran was super friendly and he made sure I did not have a broken egg inside the carton I bought!

  • Paula G

Amazing customer service! Always clean and lots of helpful faces. Best Rexall I've been to.

  • Val V
