complete disappointment. from the second we walked in i had a gut feeling that coming here was a mistake. i’ll spare you all the details but this review is definitely worthy of reading through before committing to a visit here. walking in, there’s no clear direction of where to go or how far back the seating goes. the only thing that was obvious was that there’s no host to seat you. as anyone who’s not local would do, we start walking towards the back to scope out the scene and find a spot to sit. a woman who was sitting at the bar (not working but clearly a regular) aggressively says “HEY. YOU NEED TO SHOW ID.” while pointing at the bartender who was actively making a drink. she then checks our IDs without hardly saying a word. maybe get a bouncer or let your servers check IDs? we finally sit down and after waiting 10 minutes we have a server approach the table. *side note- she was pretty young (20) but very nice to us. this review has nothing to do with her service.* we order the chips and queso to which she asks if we want to upgrade to the white queso (as opposed to the standard yellow queso) and says it’s definitely worth it. if the white queso was worth the upgrade then i’d hate to know what the yellow queso tastes like. it tasted like watered down white velveeta queso… it probably was exactly that. i also ordered the rhytmrita bucket (their special recipe margarita). i love tequila but DAM that was strong and had no flavor. they clearly state that buckets are non refundable due to the alcohol content… but then we started looking around and noticing a lot more on the menu was non refundable. that’s when it hit. if you have to specifically state everything on the menu isn’t refundable then you’re probably getting a lot of complaints and doing nothing to fix them. for dinner, i ordered the twisted tacos. a “special family recipe”. literally just deep fried beef tacos. the best part was the salsa. the beef had no flavor at all. “why didn’t you order the chicken instead” ah yes that’s because you can’t substitute anything on those. i also ordered the brussel sprouts that she ensured me were seasoned and sauced. guaranteed those were steamed from frozen in the microwave. they didn’t even salt/pepper them and - big surprise - no condiments on the table. guys, i WISH i could say i was only salty because that woman at the bar started the vibes off wrong but i’ve literally never been to a restaurant where everything sucked. everything. from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere. 10/10 would NOT recommend ** ps we walked around the corner to Society and they may have a limited menu but they made the night worth it

If I could give 0 stars i would but since i have to give 1 star, our server we had, Alejandro, is the only one who deserves a star. The food was very mediocre, we ordered wings, smash burger, fried mushrooms, brussel sprouts and potatoes boats. None of these items were worth the money we paid, and the bar drinks were not great either. The wings were not good at all, sauce was pretty dry and not a good flavor. I asked for bbq sauce to help with the dryness and seasoning already on the wing but I was told the owner is very strict and I would need to pay extra for that. It took OVER 30 minutes for us to tab out. Their system seems to have issues, we were told this happens often. Alejandro took the card to the bar trying to run it, the bartender who was a woman had an attitude saying the card stuff was not her issues, she had better things to do, that it was a bank issue not hers....ummm the issues was your establishments problem, not the customer whose card works just fine everywhere else. The bad food, bad system and the bad attitude was enough to make me never go back.

As a first time visitor I am VERY unpleased with my services here. My bartender Alejandro was clearly under the influence while on the clock and it showed in his actions as well as affected the other staff members to the point were they requested the supervisor to send him home. It wasn’t until later that night we found out from a regular customer that Alejandro admitted to taking shrooms before work. The other bartender had to pick up his slack anytime he would disappear from behind the bar for long periods of time. She also had to force him to take accountability after he messed up my order, tried to over charge me for food/drinks I didn’t order, and hold my debit card captive in his back pocket the whole time we were there. I highly suggest new staff members and background checks.

First of all as soon as I got there, I was harassed by the doorman as well as other patrons trying to enter the establishment to enjoy a drink. The doorman also had a sidekick that chimed in and was extremely annoying when they were checking for my ID. I’m 47 years old clearly I’m old enough to have a drink. And the worst part was days later I realized that they had charged my card multiple times for drinks I did not order or have. I’ve called and left messages, but no reply. I’ve been to this establishment multiple times and it has changed drastically for the worst over the years.

My husband wanted somewhere to watch the KU game and get dinner. He wanted to try something different. So we ended up here. It was dead when we first arrived. Except a few people at the bar and someone playing pool. We waited a really long time for someone to come to our table. We were getting ready to leave, and someone finally showed up. He didn't really seem like he wanted to be there. We ordered drinks and food. Our Irish nachos came out quickly, but the rest of our food took an insanely long time. Food was just ok. I don't plan on going back.

My husband and I hung out here on a Friday night playing pool. There were other games to play also. The atmosphere was laid back and chill with a diverse crowd. It is spacious with different areas so everyone is not bunched up in one space. The wings were bomb!!! The drinks were trash but it could have been that particular bartender there that night, I ordered a long island iced tea and it looked and tasted like lemonade I didn't even drink it and when I told the bartender she copped an attitude. Other than that I enjoyed myself and will go back, I'll just have my drinks before I go.

Incredible disrespect. Just arrived in the city via train looking for some food before checking into our hotel. Staff said we could not bring our bags in the restaurant offering no alternative and asking us to leave. Then adding insult to injury, we realized they thought we were homeless vagrants as a staff member kicked us off the side walk while we were on our phones looking for another restaurant! (Understandable this is probably funny to read, but it was infuriating in the moment) Food might be great but I wouldn’t know! Screw this place.

My wife ordered onion rings while we were waiting on friends, she got like 4 small onion rings and in a styrofoam box....when she asked about why the order was so small she was told that's just how it comes. Attitudes weren't great and we didn't bother questioning further, we just left when our other friends arrived. We've ordered here before and it was never like that. Really dissapointing and off putting

Have thought about going here many times but after skimming these reviews it appears the owner is a petty, petulant child who's incapable of owning up to mistakes or attempting to correct any of the issues patrons raise in their negative reviews. Just reflects super poorly on a place as a whole when their awful conflicts resolution persona seeps through in the ways they choose to respond to their reviews online. Learn how to take the higher road and conduct yourself slightly more professionally.

Entertaining they have board games, pool and darts. Foods is pretty good considering it's a bar. Their wings are so yummy

The place smells dirty, there’s funky stuff in the corners of the floor just because it’s a dive bar doesn’t mean it should be disgusting inside. The drinks are either too strong or just sour mix. I feel bad for my server last night we had to ask her to get new drinks three times but she was very nice and understanding and the tall door man in the green shirt (dj) made us uncomfortable with his flirting but the wings were decent a little dry.

I went here on a Monday night and even tho it wasn't as lively as on a Friday or Saturday I'd come again. The bartender was nice and her drinks were made just right.The spicy buffalo wings and fries are SO GOOD, I'd definitely be venturing back here.

New and some friends came here for the wings late at night. It's really laid back atmosphere with great music and love the decor. We ended up playing pool until closing. Good drinks, friendly staff, great wings and lots of board games. Will come back next time I'm in KC!

I liked the bar itself, spacious with pool tables, darts, jenga and lots of board games. However, our waitress had a very snotty, smart a** kind of attitude. She definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Our happy hour drinks were decent, but the nachos were horrible. The big chunks of chicken were tough (and cold) and I paid an extra $1.50 for the white cheese dip but there was hardly any on it.

Good place to vibe to. Really good food. And you can play pool, darts, play music on the jukebox. It's just a real chill spot to go to.

Drove from St. Louis just to try a Liquid Marijuana. The drink plus the food was well worth the trip. The server was very DIFFERENT. Honestly I almost lost my appetite. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. But she got the order right, brought it fast, and checked on me a couple times. And the place looks GREAT inside. I'll be back though.

Charisse is a phenomenal bartender. Always checking in and keeping up on almost empty drinks. Absolutely love this spot! If I end up in KC again I will be back!

I literally go here every Sunday and get the chicken I always ask for extra extra crispy and they are normally fine, but yesterday they said they only fry them to 200 degrees now… if I’m paying for them I would like them to be cooked how I like them. I will not be returning at all and the server girl doesn’t know how to talk to people.

This was our first time going here, and we so enjoyed going. The food was wonderful, as well as the service. We will add this place to our favorites.

We had a group of 10 on Saturday at 2pm. We were the only people in there. The waitress was friendly, and kept our drinks full on a hot day. The food was good. My hamburger was grilled just right. All if the meals were delivered to the table at the same time, by the one waitress so really one or two at a time. Good value!

We picked Rhythm & and Booze for dinner tonight and we weren't disappointed! Delicious food, good menu, great service, and super sweet cocktails (best amaretto sour I've ever had!) Very grungy, divy vibe, and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend the nacho burger and cheese tots.

It was late and they were open. Got a regular cheeseburger with fries and called it a night. Bartend that took my order is customer at the store I work at. Don't know his name but he's a cool dude. Burger was delicious.

I liked the weird vibe of this place, the robot art with Johnny Five, Terminator, Predator, a Transformer, etc. And the Fried Pickle slices were great. But our server seemed pretty clueless, and the burgers were overcooked and pretty basic.

This place is disgustingly dirty and gross. It looks like identity hole-in-the-wall the buckets to hold up your doors. The theme inside is not make sense whatsoever. They're completely overpriced for what they are. We didn't get our debit

I bought a small team of 10 people We had excellent service from Bre. She was so friendly and treated everybody incredibly well, as well as extremely efficient with our food and drinks Thank you!! And those wings were fire.

The delivery time was quick (about 20 minutes). the amount of fries that were given was really sad and they did not include anything that was asked in the order (ketchup, salt and pepper, etc). The wings were good though!

Peaceful environment, great vibes, owner is real chill... friendly atmosphere, kindof reminds me of Coyote ugly... w/o the drama.... Ps food is AMAZINGG!!!
