We went here for a U7 soccer tournament. The field was in good shape and the grounds were clean. It had a handy restroom building which makes things a little easier with the young ones. The play structure kept them busy before and after games. The park also had quite a lot of parking. However if the lot is full don't park on the street right in front of the park as tu will be ticketed. You'll have to head into the residential roads nearby.
Nice park at the heart of Richmond. I drive by this park every day. It is well managed: being well maintained. A popular place for many Richmond families. In summer time you can often see the youth playing sport games. Particularly soccer players organize local tournaments there.
It was a great 1st annual truck and tractor pull. Hopefully next year if they do it, more truck and tractors show up for the different classes. However, $4 for a pogo is way over priced! It cost more for the pogo than it did the poutine....
Ok but times , for soccer need to be staggered more so parking is not so congested !
Restrooms
At least they are open. Need more for # of people
Dog-friendliness
Not needed around all the kids
3 well maintained soccer pitches and a couple baseball diamonds. A children's play area and a gazebo structure make for plenty of shade on a sunny day.
I especially liked Susan Denney's and Erin Ryan Morgan's pottery. I bought a mug from Suzanne and a bowl from Erin.
Richmond fair! An annual must go. Midway, live bands, food trucks, local swag, what a turnout!
Good activity and overall facilities BUT the parking lot is overrun with potholes
Very well kept park remembering those gone though never forgotten veterans
