"The price for a simple tire fix was very reasonable"
"This place rocks"
"I’ve been going to RideAway Bicycles in SA for years"
"Great shop! I worked with Tommy and John to update a 1970's Schwinn Unicycle"
The staff was friendly and helpful. Their services are reasonably priced. I let them know up front that I was new at the whole cycling thing and needed a tune up on a inherited bike and they did not try to oversell me things! Although it's far from where I live, I'm going to go back to this shop for all my biking needs.
The price for a simple tire fix was very reasonable. If you’re looking for any customer service this isn’t really the place for it, though. There are many places that are far more deserving of your money than this one. The decent price to fix a flat tire is not enough to compensate for the horrible customer service.
This place rocks. Good vibes with good people that are happy to help with any thing you need. Fixed a busted rear wheel spoke and trued my rim, dropped it off watched a flick next door and was ready for pick up by the end of the movie. Will definitely be back when it's time to purchase a new Giant. Thanks guys!
I’ve been going to RideAway Bicycles in SA for years. Ed Solis, is an awesome mechanic who always finds time to get me in and out quickly. Ruben Santoscoy, the owner will take the time to ensure that his customers are satisfied. He’s a pretty good mechanic himself. I highly recommend RideAway Bicycles.
Great shop! I worked with Tommy and John to update a 1970's Schwinn Unicycle. They were knowledgeable, helpful and quick! I was on a schedule to return to Michigan and they were very accommodating. Through the years I've worked with several bike shops and these professionals are top notch!
GREAT buying experience! I don’t know how Tommy and his staff could have been any more helpful. No pressure to buy more bike than I needed. Ended up buying a mid-range bike. Left feeling that I received just as much attention than I would have had I chosen a higher end bike. I’ll be back!
Had a great experience there. I needed to get my bike looked over to make sure everything was A-OK and the guys there looked it over told me what they thought I should do for free. They even filled the tires up for me. They were very honest and nice. I'd definitely go back there again.
Great selection of bikes, and excellent customer service! I bought my first bike here and continue to send friends and family members here for service and bike accessories. They have everything for the first time rider and the seasoned rider. All the employees are very knowledgeable!
Great customer service! I took my bike in, expecting to leave it to replace the front brake cable. They were able to fix it in a few minutes without replacing the whole thing! No charge, just great service! I was amazed with the inventory in their shop also. Thanks very much guys!!!
I was really disappointed in their customer service. General courtesy is almost completely absent. Prices are definitely higher than other shops, and from my experience with them, it feels like they're disinterested in helping average riders; more interested in professionals.
Went to 3 other bike places, shortest wait was 6 days to even set an appointment to look at bike. Went to Ride Away Bicycles and they not only had the wheel I needed in stock, but they installed it on the spot, I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Great service!
Guy we spoke to treated us like trash because I have a bike I got at Walmart and not one of his elitist bikes that cost in the thousands. Had a real snobby attitude and made my wife feel real small. We are just starting out, and people like
This shop is great! They carry quality bikes and accessories at very reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and shows authentic enthusiasm for the people they are helping. You can really tell they are passionate about what
I'm relatively new and shopped around extensively. Rideaway (Janelle, Ed, Tommy, and Ruben, each at different visits/phone calls) was very patient and helpful along the way. They took their time, generously shared input, and got me educated
Great place. I'll get my next 29er here. Went in for a helmet, but I need an XL and they only had one. It was nice but didn't feel comfortable. They said to be sure to like the feel or else you won't use it. Even if that meant I went to REI
Such wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. I took in my boyfriends bike as a Valentine’s Day gift. It had been over a year and the staff knew his bike and took great care in the tune up. I was so impressed I brought my new to me bike
Went in to get two of my road bikes fixed. Staff was to busy to help so I decided not to have my bikes fixed there. Finally I received help by someone that seemed new. He ask for help locating the tube I needed for my road bike. When I was
Excellent customer service. Workers are really down to earth and funny. I can't remember the guys names that helped me but they were kick a**. (bearded man that worked on bikes and bald metal head that sold bikes) They sold me a Giant Roam
Quick tire tube repair, which is cool. Place is not for a novices..their customer service proves that they have no tolerance for anyone that does not know about the cycling world very well. I came in asking for assistance for my used bike
I am an experienced cyclist from the northeast who was in Texas for work and decided to use the convenient rental services provided by this shop. Pick up was fine, but when I got to the trailhead approximately 1 hrs drive north, found out
I walked in with a pocket full of cash in hopes of buying a mountain bike. Customer service starts ok until there are no bikes my size and price range but the store is full of bikes, I was immediately dismissed and blown off by the female
The staff here is incredible, the lady that helped me decide what bicycle to purchase is very knowledgeable and friendly (Sorry forgot her name). I’m fairly new to this sport so she took her time to explain in detail what I would get from
The only thing that irritated me was when I was trying on some shoes janelle tossed some socks at me to use and they landed on the ground next to me it was rude she could have just put them on the counter or handed them to me I was within
Knowledge at best! These guys are fantastic, they carry most of the parts you need to do your own maintenance plus the materials and tools. New bike, old bike no problem they must likely will have the part… other boutique LBS when you ask
My first encounter with Ride Away Bikes was when I decided to do a 1 x 10 gear conversion to my MTB and the shop was a huge help and got it done quickly. The second visit was even better, as Jason helped me pack my mtb in a hard case for
I love this place! They have a great selection of bikes and parts, and the service is always great. I went in today to get some headset cups removed from my frame, and they were able to knock it out right then and there. On top of that,
Had a great experience here. The staff installed a headlight on my bike and it was no easy task cause we tried it ourselves first and couldn't quite get it so i brought it here and they worked their magic! They didn't over charge either.
These guys are awesome! I hadn't visited them before and only visit bike shops when I need something that I have to have right away. In this instance, I was taking a shot in the dark that one of the local bike shops would be nice enough
Staff is super attentive and friendly. I went in with a beat up road bike and the gentleman quickly assisted me. He determined I only needed to fix a couple things and really stressed that the repairs could wait if I wanted. He made it
I have been bringing my bikes here for almost a year. From minor tune ups and brake adjustments to reinstallation of my torn gear shift cables. Recently I dropped off my wife's bike and when I picked it up they told me that they over
Have always had great service at this shop! Tuesday, I dropped off my rattling commuter bike for a tune-up. Wednesday, I picked up a smooth, quiet, crisp shifting machine. Like a new bike and a one day turn-around. Hard to beat that.
WOW, I'm impressed with this shop. I needed urgent assistance today. My bike's spoke snapped while I was riding at Flat Rock Ranch yesterday, and I needed a quick repair. Fortunately, Ruben, the mechanic, was on hand, and he didn't
The staff at Ride Away Bicycles (Huebner Oaks) has excelled in providing service for my recent bike repair/upgrade needs. Beyond the quality customer care and comprehensive menu for bike servicing; I was pleased to find a clean and
Great experience and great prices. This place was awesome from the moment I walked in. The shop guys were very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely be returning for any of my bike needs. Thank you guys for your service!!
Most trusted bike shop. Excellent service across a range of bikes from street beater to carbon racer. They are unpretentious, patient and service prices are very competitive. Highly recommended and Tommy is a cool dude.
Every time I come it very the crew is very attentive. Prices are too good for the services they provide. Have had multiple items repaired here and they are are quick, effective and inexpensive. You guys rock!!
The all around staff to include always family oriented welcome greetings and excellent mechanics services from Mr. Ed and Mr. Tommy. I'm very grateful for their consistent expertise experiences.
Giving 1 star because I have to. Horrible customer service. Won’t recommend nor return. There was one other customer in the store with at least 5 employees working. I went to buy a helmet,
One of our “go-to” bike shops for repairs and gear. Our rep today was super helpful but didn’t do so hot at helping out putting shoes away… she chews the cardboard instead. …
This shop has really taken care of me. I ride as a main way of transportation, and they have fixed so many flats for me and even helped me out a smidge when my bike got stolen.
Best bike shop in San Antonio!!! Amazing service. Reuben and Ed and all the staff at Huebner Oaks are top notch. I ‘d give them more stars if I could.
Before you read my ramble let me just say; what a wonderful experience! If you need assistance like we did, this is the place!
I experienced amazing customer service from Edward. He was nice and patient at helping me find the right indoor cycling shoe.
The people are nice, so are the prices! They're dog friendly and it seems like a nice little shop!
Went in for a repair, price was very reasonable and Shawn fixed it quickly. Highly recommended!!
Took a worn out great bike to get serviced and in returned a brand new bike thank you …
My wife had a wonderful experience buying her bike. So helpful and answered all questions.
I bought a front and rear rim. The staff is great and knowledgeable. Lots of great items.
The guys there are awesome. Very knowledgeable, and helpful. Great customer service!!!
Awesome friendly employees! Great prices as well!!
