My wife and I have been going to the Rideau Dental Centre since we moved to the Ottawa area in 1995. I had not really been to the dentist for many years prior to going to the RDC and was extremely nervous. It was in 1997 (i believe) that I first met Dr. Bao Nguyen. Again, me being extremely nervous being in "the chair", Dr. Nguyen and Nadia (his dental assistant) made me feel comfortable and worked as gently as possible to ensure a positive patient experience while making sure to fix whatever problems I had with my teeth. I moved away from the Ottawa area in 2001 and continue to this day (July 2015) to make the trip to the RDC for all dental needs. Since I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen, we have had 3 kids and they all enjoy going and seeing him and Nadia. I have also had extremely positive experiences with extractions that I have had to have and routine cleanings. Andree has been doing my cleanings and I can say that she is caring and really ensures positive patient experiences that keep me coming back. And finally I cannot say enough about all the staff at the front desk. I am not going to try to name them all because I know I will inadvertently leave someone out and I don't want to do that. They are always friendly and courteous and make you feel like family. In short, I recommend Dr. Nguyen and the RDC staff for your dental needs because they truly care about their patients and their patients needs and ensure positive experiences each time. WOW!! How fortunate am I to be a patient of Dr. Bao Nguyen and his assistant Nadia! I have a LOT of anxiety when going to the dentist; I've had a lot work done (4 extractions and 4 more wisdom teeth taken out), I've had braces, I've had injections (which absolutely TERRIFY me, I go as white as a ghost once the syringe comes out). I've been in pain, I've been uncomfortable, heck an old dentist mine told me to pipe it down when I tried to let him know he was pushing too hard and hurting me! Dr. Nguyen and Nadia have been compassionate, understanding and in my opinion, they have gone above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences here, my anxiety is a thing of the past when I know it's Dr. Nguyen who's going to be seeing me. He has really turned things around for me personally and I leave his office with a smile, because I'm actually relaxed, comfortable and happy when I leave. If you're a dentalphobe, Dr. Nguyen is who you need to go see. Hands down.

First and foremost, it should be noted that for a very long time, I was a severely nervous dental patient. Regardless of what doctor I had, I had an irrational fear of dentists. Rideau dental have an exceptional staff, with more experience and qualifications than you could possibly imagine. In the year I've been going to them, I've had a cavity filled, a number of cleanings, and some orthodontic work done. Each and every time, their staff are gentle, careful, and extremely understanding of my anxiety. Not only is the work they did second to none, but it genuinely took away my phobia of dentists. They gave me the confidence to actually smile in photos again, but they're always polite and respectful to patients. For people who are at all nervous patients when it comes to dental issues, I have never come across a better team. 5 stars is not enough.

All staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. The reception staff are organized and never fail to remind me of my appointments. They also proactively call to remind me that if I did not book a future appointment, the last time I was in. This is very helpful for someone with a busy/fluctuating work schedule. Dr. Georgopoulos is fantastic to deal with. He has been my dentist since I was a child. He will always take the time to make sure his patients are comfortable, and understand the terminology that is being explained. When it was time for my wisdom teeth to come out, he also referred us to an excellent oral surgeon, which demonstrates that he truly cares for all of his patients, regardless of whether or not he is the one treating you. Great service altogether.

It had been a long time since I had visited a dentist. Unbelievable service from the woman who took the appointment (Janet, you're amazing). Genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was the only reason I took the chance. Dr. Nguyen (I don't see his name on the site, so hopefully I haven't killed the spelling) and Nadia exceeded expectations. Careful and calm they explained the state of my mouth (not good) put me at ease about what needed to be done and laid out a plan. I used to hate visiting the dentist. I'll be happy to keep going to Rideau dental for years. If my past dentist had ever come close to this, maybe I would have kept going.

Dr Nguyen and Nadia are the dream team. I’ve had so much work done and every time I went in for a procedure it was as painless as could be and they took careful consideration of my concerns and situation and were professional and pleasant every time. Front desk staff is sometimes so busy that they seem frustrated and that doesn’t create the greatest experience but many times they’ve apologized after a misunderstanding which shows it’s not their default way of dealing with customers and 90 percent of the time they are pleasant, accommodating and try to help you out if you need anything.

I have been going to Rideau Dental Clinic for more than 20 years. My dentist is Dr. Bao Nguyen and he is excellent. He first helped with repairing my molars after I was grinding my teeth for years. With a nigh guard my grinding stopped. With some crooked teeth, I got braces at 53 years old and it was actually a pretty good experience (aside from all the usual discomfort that braces bring). I'm really happy with how my teeth turned out and I would recommend Dr. Bao Nguyen (and Rideau Dental Clinic) to anyone looking for a really good dentist with friendly and helpful staff.

Recently I did a dental work at this wonderful dental office located in heart of Ottawa Rideau Centre. What a great and passionate team! A right mix of energy, enthusiasm, excellent customer service, professional knowledge and discipline was obvious. Dr. Hollingdale and her team were super helpful and knowledgeable in their work. They provide me with a well-designed and very fit Crown like my original and natural one. Same day design and install! I recommend this place and that dentist to other Ottawa residents and this is my favorite dental office.

I want to commend Dr. Bao Nguyen and Nadia for their beyond-excellent care during my recent root canal and crown procedures. Fortunately, I was told about Rideau Dental and Dr. Nguyen several years ago when moving to Ottawa…and have been his and Nadia’s patient ever since. I came to them with a decades-long terror of dental appointments and have felt this fear dissipate with every appointment. They both have a calm and empathic manner which puts me at ease, along with the trust I feel being under their care. I can only say ‘Thank you’ to them both!

I have received excellent dental care from Dr. Bao Nguyen, Nadia, and hygienists over many years. Due to COVID-19 worries I delayed making an appointment until November. The Rideau Dental Centre team, including front desk administrative staff, visibly demonstrated that my health and well-being were important to them. The pandemic safety protocols put in place are gold standards. I was likely safer at Rideau Dental Centre than a trip to the grocery store. I’m no longer worried about scheduling an appointment during the pandemic should I need one.

We see Dr. Nguyen and his crew since 1997. Our daughters, now grown up and living elsewhere, come to Ottawa for their dental appointments, as they cannot fathom an alternative. The team at Rideau Dental, from receptionist, to assistant, hygenist and doctor, saw us through good and bad, being part of their growing up (and our growing older) with all that this entails. However, it was by our choice that they became part of our lives. Our trust was earned and continuously validated time and time again.

Dr Nguyen took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure that would be performed and answered all of my questions in a clear and concise manner. Throughout the procedure (fillings), he was very gentle and ensured that I was comfortable at all times. Overall, I would highly recommend Rideau dental centre to anyone in need of dental care. The quality of care provided by Dr. Nguyen and his team is top-notch, and the level of customer service is truly outstanding. Thank you for a great experience!

I have been going to Rideau Dental for about 20 years and have always been impressed. Dr. Georgopolous is a true professional, with a caring nature and great smile. I’m amazed how he can remember so much about you even when it’s been a year since you last saw him. There’s no lecture or telling look because you haven’t been there in awhile, just a let’s see how we can make this easier for you attitude. The staff are always friendly and helpful. You could say they’ve put a new smile on my face.

I have been very pleased and impressed with Dr. Hollingdale. She is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She's also cautious and deliberate, and did a great job when I needed a filling. I have some TMJ dysfunction and I can't open my jaws more than a few centimeters, but she still managed my case very well. I needed a small revision to the filling afterwards (it was a little bit high and rough) and she fit me in right away with no additional charge.

Dr. Hollingdale is a fantastic, extremely friendly and elaborate dentist! I was with her for 5+ years until I moved to the different city. She goes above and beyond in explaining your questions. She was always friendly and welcoming every time I visited, and made it a comfortable and fun experience. She’s very accommodating and understanding. Her assistant is also great as well. They make a great team! I cannot recommend them enough!

Dr Nguyen changed my life. After many years of wanting a better smile and stronger teeth, I met with Dr Nguyen, who immediately put my nerves to rest. With thorough and thoughtful guidance, he and his team led me through the Invisalign process. Each step was monitored closely, along with open discussions, answering any and all questions. The results are amazing and I smile with renewed confidence, thanks to Dr Nguyen and his team.

I have been a patient at the Rideau Dental Centre for many years and all my family are patients there as well. We are always happy with the high level of customer service we receive. Dr. Georgopoulos is a wonderful dentist who takes the time to explain all procedures, is real about what you actually need, has a gentle and kind demeanour which puts patients at ease. For the past year and a half, I’ve undergone the Invisalign treatment to improve my teeth and I had an excellent experience all the way through. Dr. Nguyen and Nadia made sure that I was informed throughout the whole process and answered any questions that I had. They made me feel comfortable and overall took very good care of me. I would definitely recommend the clinic to anyone looking for a good dentist!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Great dentist office all around! But specifically Dr. Nguyen is the best at injections for freezing. I have had MANY cavities over the years and not once have I felt anything when he was using the needle to freeze my mouth. 10/10 for being gentle with patients! Also Nadia who works with Dr. Nguyen is amazing at her job and super welcoming to patients!

I have had such a wonderful experience as a client here over the past few years. Dr. Nguyen and Nadia are extremely knowledgeable, understanding of circumstances/client requests and are extremely good at what they do. I had my first pain free cavity filling in my life with them today! I have also had the pleasure of being helped by Dr. Hollingdale, who is wonderful as well!

I'm done with this clinic - yet to have a really good experience in 2 years. They are constantly pushing for "extras" including additional x-rays. I've had several issues with them charging above guidelines (insurance won't cover) and now the new "PPE" fee is $18 !! If you were getting some kind of great experience maybe, but its not and I've been disappointed every time.

On holidays from Ireland my grandson had a Miss hap which resulted in him cutting his inner bottom lip.contacted dentist at 11pm he promptly said bring him to clinic.he stiched his inner lip and he is fine now. What a gentleman and dentist if you need a good dentist then look no further than Rideau dental clinic exceptional treatment and care. Thank you

I have been a client for 23 years and the service only gets better. While working predominantly overseas, I continue to return on a regular basis, at least annually. Dr Georgopoulos is a professional through and through, and while I have been well served by other dentists during this period, he is the best that I have encountered. I highly recommend.

Dr Perron is the best. He's a personable, gentle, considerate and extremely-skilled dentist. I changed cities- any time a new dentist sees Dr Perron's amazing previous work - they literally stop dead and go on and on about how excellent his work is. And it is. I am not comfortable in a dental office; however, he literally made me feel better.

This is a great Dental Practice, especially since they are one of the few that takes Saturday appointments. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new Dentist. Dr.Bitar is great, I had a dental procedure done in record time that was also pain free. He was excellent with my 3 year old. Theresa is a great hygienist!

Very friendly front desk staff. Flexible scheduling. Dr Perron is also a wonderful dentist. I am especially grateful that he stayed in late at the office to see me when I had a sudden toothache. Julie is also a great hygienist. She did her best to keep me comfortable during a very uncomfortable appointment.

I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for years, both for dental and orthodontics, and he is absolutely the GREATEST! He ensures I'm well informed, provides options when needed and is very accommodating. He's the nicest man, fun to joke with and very professional. Can't say enough great things about him!! :)

This is a great dental practice. Reception is very efficient. Both Theresa and Lori are phenomenal hygienists. They are kind and gentle. Dr. Lui is a great dentist. Excellent work and you can trust him when he says you need some dental work. I highly recommend this dental practice.
