Walked in to see if a pharmacist could prescribe me a small amount of my oral contraceptive, as I ran out and needed another prescription from my doctor. Most pharmacies I’ve been to have been able to give me a small amount to bridge the gap in the rare case my prescription has run out. A younger pharmacist was about to do this for me until an older pharmacist walked in saying no they absolutely couldn’t. It felt quite hostile and I felt judged for not having my prescription ready. The policies should be more clear so there’s no confusion over prescribing. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Outstanding customer service! My elderly mother uses Rideau Pharmacy and they have personally gone above and beyond many times to take care of her medication needs. I am so very grateful to the entire staff! They are always on top of every situation with my mother, and being that I live out of town, they work with me to keep me posted on her situation. It is very difficult to find a business that truly cares about their customers, but the staff team here provide 'First Class Customer Care', which in turn, helps to give me peace of mind for my mother.

Just wanted to drop by and give a shout-out to the lovely folks at Rideau pharmacy. ☺️ Every one of their staff is friendly, accommodating and quite knowledgeable (the names I know off the top of my head are Tim, Sarah-Emily, and Brent, though there may be more!). They have patience for my often seemingly-endless questions and are kind, compassionate and caring. It’s clear they work hard to give you the best service, which notably includes a great price on medications. Would recommend!!

Not sure where to even start with the folks at Rideau Pharmacy. They are quick, personable and caring! The pharmacists always make sure to warn me of any interactions or side effects, especially with new drugs. They have also helped me in a pinch when I’ve needed a refill by sending the paper work to my doctor and having the prescription ready for the same day. You’re going to be hard pressed to find a better place for prescriptions in Calgary!

Felt interrogated here for wanting to buy just syringes (no needles). I am ftm transgender prescribed testosterone therapy. I forgot to pack syringes while staying a week downtown Calgary. The person behind the desk acted very rude, asking if I was juicing and what I was taking. I don’t understand I never have a problem with buying these types of items on the east coast of Canada

I had a great experience at Rideau Pharmacy today. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the young lady, but she helped my husband pick out what advil would be good for his muscle pain. She was polite and wellspoken, had glasses and long, light colored hair. I hope she is told about my review, I think it might make her day like she made mine ❤

This pharmacy is just the best , honestly great service and it's got such a great feel to it ! The staff really seem to care not just herding you thru the door ! My son has a medical condition and picks up medication monthly and they always have it ready on time with a friendly hello ! They really do go above and beyond which is rare these days !

This pharmacy and all of their staff are absolutely incredible! I go so far out of my way just to use this pharmacy as it is the best I've found! The staff are an absolute treat to talk to and so knowledgeable. If you are looking for a long-term trusted pharmacy, Rideau is the real deal.

Very nice pharmacy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who enjoy what they do. Much different setting compared to large pharmacies, there's some cool old pharmacy stuff in the window out front. I believe they have free delivery, not open on weekends tho. Support local business!

Truly the best customer service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy. They really make sure you understand your medication, the pharmacists are all always professional and genuine. I got my second covid shot here too and it was so easy :)

I received very poor customer service, the pharmacist I talked to on the phone actually mocked me, I always thought pharmacist's were professionals, obviously I was wrong. My recommendation is to stay away from this place.
