We walked over on Saturday to have lunch at the Farmer's Market. Children enjoyed the green space, playground and climbing rock. We even used the community washrooms. It was being enjoyed by many people but we could still find a spot away from everyone to eat out lunch.
It was the annual Child Run for the Children's Hospital. 700+ runners and more than 7000 attendees. I was there with two of my magicians friends from the Society of American Magicians (Assembly 95) to entertain the crowds with magic tricks. We had a blast!
Wonderful park with good amenities for families, community gardeners, and sporting folks. Great zip line and playground with swings. There’s a challenging climbing rock with grab handles and foot holds conveniently located in the shade of
Went here for the Famer Markets. There are tons of great and amazing local vendors. From local produce,ciders,wines,meats/ sausages, pastries, cheese, and even dog treats! Also, def try Jack & the Bean for coffee. It's definitely one of the
Giving back! The folks at this community garden warms my heart, but more importantly they feed almost 300 families. Volunteers grow over 200 kilos of food to donate to viable programs in the neighborhood. Right now, we can get involved in
This park has everything parent of little kids want. Playground for any age kids, and adults. Tree shade, washrooms, big and fairly clean. I applaud the effort City of Vancouver's staff is putting to keep it in this good shape. Thank you!
Awesome park in Vancouver. In the summer there is free yoga, a farmers market and it's beautiful. In the winter, across the street there is also the farmers market. They just renovated one half of the park to include a new playground, a
I love Riley park because of all the community activities that take place there. I try to get out there every Saturday for their Farmers Market but they also have outdoor community yoga that takes place on the field and is led by a
Visited during the weekend market. Great parking, nicely laid out with large trees, open spaces, and community gardening. Fantastic for a relaxing afternoon with family. Will definitely be visiting again!
I went to the Sunday Fall Farm Market and wasn't disappointed. A wonderful variety of fall apples and veg. I purchased a very flavourful local cheese and a jar of honey. Go early for the best selection.
Farmers market in the winter 10/10 tons of really good vendors there for anything you can think of. The staff that work there are also super great at showing you what you’re looking for.
Has two playground, one older and one newer. Newer one doesn't have tons of play structure but is very spacious. Grass fields used for baseball/t-ball can get quite muddy.
Went to the Riley Park Farmers Market. We enjoyed all the local venders and the park has alot of offer including a outdoor bouldering rock, local garden and playgrounds!!
I did not know that the farmers market was open under the umbrella (literally) of winter market. I had always thought that they had shutdown for this time of year.
Great playground and ball diamond. Maybe not great for kids > 8 years old but great for younger kids. Has washrooms, big field.
Nice little park near Hillcrest Community Centre and Queen Elizabeth park. Perfect for a quick stroll around anytime.
Gorgeous and locally grown. It's dahllia season, so come & check these folks out at Nat Bailey.
Good size park. Have community garden. Good for large groups.
This is the best park I’ve ever been to!
