Honestly, my first time using this service was great. I thought it was so simple and easy. They come, they pick up your clothes, they clean them, and then they deliver them right back to your front doorstep. Easy, right? Yeah, no. Since that first pick up… my experience has been absolutely awful. I have tried to schedule a pick up maybe 4 to 6 different times. “Tried” being the operative word. Their window for pick up states it’s from 8 PM to 10 PM but it never is. I’ll receive a text message saying that my driver will be here between 8:15-8:30 PM. That time comes and goes and I’ve never heard anything from anyone. I go and check my order online, it’s been delayed. Every. Single. Time. It’s pushed back to 9-9:15, then 9:30-9:45, then 10… even as late as 11:30 PM once. NO communication from anyone at all. Once they canceled on me because their truck was too full. Another time they came while I was standing right outside my complex with my dog and left because I didn’t answer the door. Another time they came but never knocked. Just saw my bag wasn’t on the front doorstep (apparently my “no contact pick-up” was enabled) and left. Another time the pick up was pushed too late and then finally canceled but no one ever told me. There is never a text message saying they will be arriving in five minutes. When you respond to them asking for updates their staff is usually not very helpful and/or just doesn’t respond at all. Finally, one night, after my pick up had once again been delayed 5 times over… I left my bag on my doorstep and just went to bed. 12:30 AM comes and I can’t sleep. I check outside my door and my bag is still there. Again, no communication from their team. They’ve decided to reschedule my pick up but not tell me that. While I understand that they may be short-staffed or things may happen where a pick up takes too long or maybe their car really did get too full… I get it. But the issue for me is their lack of communication. If they had greyed out a night because they had 10 pick ups scheduled and couldn’t accommodate mine then I would have gladly picked another day. If they had texted and said that they couldn’t pick up my order because it was being pushed after 10 PM but they would make me first on their pick up list the following day… Great! But they don’t. I don’t know about you but I usually don’t stay up past 10 PM so for me… It is really frustrating when you purposely stay up until midnight waiting for somebody to come to your door and no one ever arrives. Last but not least, the service is super expensive. Which, I get. It’s supposed to be a sophisticated and elite service. But it isn’t. Not worth your money.

I’ve been using Rinse for over a year. At first the service was pretty good - valets would follow instructions, orders were timely, etc. My initial only complaint was that they would shrink things every so often so I’d always suggest to people that they not give them anything super important. Lately, I’ve had more and more issues. The last large, laundry order I put in had someone else’s underwear in it. More recently, I’ve been on a late call at the office for hours and get a text alert that my comforter that I sent out to be dry cleaned was left outside in the rain. When I followed up to ask why, I got several phone calls and even after I explained via text that I was on a call, they told me that the valet tried to buzz the door but couldn’t get in - this is impossible because my doorbell is tied to a cell phone app so I can see every person that rings the doorbell and can answer remotely from my door. When I asked them to send someone else to deliver the comforter because I needed it back tonight, they didn’t respond. I’m definitely going to explore a new laundry service and suggest others look elsewhere as well. ***I just wanted to update my review to reflect what has happened since my last review. First, the comforter we sent in for dry cleaning was ruined - it was pilly and had shrunk. Second, rinse had given me a credit to make up for the previous experience. I reluctantly used the credit and the valet texted me to tell me he must have missed me because he tried to ring the doorbell but no one answered. The problem (as noted below) is that we have a digital doorbell and camera system that records every single person who rings the doorbell and there was no evidence of him ever ringing the doorbell. Second, he offered to set up delivery for the next day and just didn't do it. Now I'm still waiting on my laundry and not sure when (or if?) I will ever receive it. If anyone has a good laundry service, please send me a message.

Almost an excellent experience. Although I was concerned because I would randomly receive other peoples clothes from time to time. However, recently it has been more frequently. I had the subscription monthly, I also noticed about 2 loads ago that my towels would still have my coco butter smell in them. This last load, I had a few of my more bright colorful pieces in it. When I unfolded them and took them out the bag, they were obviously dirty. The pink piece I actually send with every load because I west out frequently, every time it come back it appears dingier than the last. So I went to the sink and washed them out by hand, and the dirt came right out. I pulled out the pink piece and it was the same situation. This time I had an unusual amount of someone else’s clothes in my bag. Now I am just uncomfortable allowing this company to take my clothes in their hands. It is clear to me that whomever is washing the clothes tends to just fold them, or maybe overwhelmed with the loads and choose to fold dirty clothes and bag them. This would’ve been perfect if I can trust the people who are handling my clothes to do what they are supposed to do. unfortunately this is not the case.

Do not trust this company with your stuff. They sent my dry clean only stuff through a regular wash. I told them in person and via text that it was dry clean only. They told me whoops it was routed to regular clean. When I followed up later that day, they said oh sorry it was already washed. I honestly don’t understand how that happens. Not only did I tell them verbally and via text, but the stuff was obviously silk and thus dry clean only. It came back to me wrinkled and stuffed into a bag. The silk was obviously shrunken and ruined. And they didn’t even apologize or offer a refund or anything. Terrible. They ruined silk shirts and dresses and expect me to pay for it. Ridiculous. UPDATE: They have now offered to reimburse me for the damaged items. I was super mad when I wrote the above review. Now I’m not so mad.

RINSE, DO NOT REPEAT If you're laundering multiple types of items such as towels, linens and clothing, don't use the service. All items were placed together in the same bags and crushed together so that even though they were folded, everything was horribly wrinkled and any black clothing was completely covered in lint from towels and socks etc. I've never had my laundry handled with such carelessness. I had a very large order and communicated this to the company but the company failed to communicate the volume of my order to the couriers. This resulted in each time a courier showed up, they were unprepared for the amount of laundry and unable to accommodate picking up my laundry effectively, resulting in me having to pay for rush service in order to accommodate having my laundry done within an effective time.

If I could give this company zero stars , I would. They incorrectly categorize clothing into more expensive categories to charge their customers more. In addition, don’t be fooled by the “$20 first order credit” - it does not apply to your order!!! It is extremely hard to reach a representative, and once you do they tell you that you will receive a call back - which is superseded by a text message, because they will not call back. I was extremely excited to and loved the idea of “Rinse’s” company approach, however, I and am utterly disappointed in this company’s use of misrepresentation, dishonesty, lack of communication, and more. Please please be advised, and just go to a normal in-person dry cleaners, because with the mobility of this app, there is no control and/or help when there are issues.

Update service was not done Don't use them Update gotten my some of my clothing items back sooner than expected. With the work done to them. Definitely fixed the prior issues. Earned back the 4 stars Up date lost 4 stars due for not keeping the repair service. Thanks for the credit but still loyal with the repair service on my clothes too. Also was not alerted on the update. Really good way to leave your loyal customer out to dry. Well been using this service for years. Great staff. Also good work on repairing clothing. Alway perfect timing with getting the clothes washed. It is a godsend for people who are busy. Would NOT recommend to everyone

It was unclear that hang dry would cost extra with my subscription. Additionally, I requested that hypoallergenic detergent be used. When I got the clothes back, they all smelled strongly of scented detergent. Additionally, I have developed a rash after wearing them, so I needed to strip them of the scented detergent and re-wash them myself. All in, this was a terrible experience with the service. It was expensive, non-transparent, and cost me more time and money than if I had just done the laundry myself.

Their prices reflect their quality. Always a great clean. The convenience of pickup and dropoff cannot be understated - same day pickup, dropoff in 1-3 days. The only area they need improvement is the clarity of their pricing - for example, stained clothing sent as a Repair will be billed for Dry Cleaning service even if Wash & Fold would be sufficient. Their subscriptions offer the best value.

Rinse is a fantastic business. I have used their service so many times and am always happy with the results. They're super responsive, accommodating, and on top of that, their value proposition is bar none. I don't know why you'd ever use another cleaning service or go back to the old way of dropping/picking up your dry cleaning. If you try them out I can't image you ever going back.

This was my first time using this service and I LOVE it! The app was easy to follow to set up a pickup and the guys who came really put us at ease with how the process goes. After receiving our clothes back, my husband was really impressed with the way the cleaners button the top and third buttons to preserve the collar! Big Win! I will definitely be using the service again.

Listen. Washing your own clothes is a chore. Taking them to get dry cleaned…another chore. Rinse removes the stress of laundry day and saves me a couple of precious hours in a day. No more washing and drying my clothes but NEVER folding them. They are a game changer and a lifesaver. I also love when they send Octavia to handle my pick ups and deliveries. She’s a gem!!

By far the best dry-cleaning experience I have ever had! Better than the local place around the corner and other stores that have done pick-up and delivery at my office. Times are convenient, the experience is technologically advanced, and the quality of the cleaning is top notch. A must for anyone in the Loop, River North, or Mag Mile.

Life is easier with Rinse. My experience is based on wash and fold. They pick up the laundry, wash and fold and return within a few days. They are responsive when I've called about runaway socks. This has been a game changer for me. I am a senior citizen who lives on the second floor. There is a washer and dryer in our basement but it's difficult for me to get everything up and down the stairs. Rinse delivers everything right to my front door. Worth every penny.

First use and my good suit jacket was returned with a broken button. They offered to fix it but would take 2 weeks and I need it for meetings. Thought the idea was great but execution and customer service when problems arise needs help.

Laundry has always been one of the chores I have to get done on the weekends. Rinse has made laundry one less thing I have to hassle with and frees up my time to do other things that are actually enjoyable.

Very convenient service, the pickup and drop off times will vary but they warn you in advance about it. Overall it isn't much more expensive than going to the cleaner but it's waaaaay more convenient.
