I've been taking my boy Schneeve to Ripponlea Vets for a few years now and let me tell you all the staff there are angels Schneeve was diagnosed at the start of 2020 with diabetes & hyperthyroidism by the lovely Dr. Jennie. We've been regulars at Ripponlea going in for checkups and repeat medications since then and every time we've always been treated with love, kindness and respect. It feels like no matter how many questions you have, or any difficult situations that may arise, the vets and nurses will always do what's best for you and your fur baby. Schneeve and I are moving away and I'm devastated because I know I'll never find another vet practice with as much love and compassion as the staff at Ripponlea Vets. Thank you for taking care of us over the past few years xoxo

I usually take my cat here, so I was feeling in good hands, last week I took her because of an eye issue only to be told “it’s really hard to diagnose eyes” she got a treatment for an ear infection and vet said “hopefully that will help with the eye” we can see you in a week time to review her. My gut feeling was to get a second opinion which I did. The second vet was honest and said go to the eye specialist straight away. I got the referral and went to the specialist the same day only to be told they have to remove her eye. This could have been prevented if more care was taken by the Vets at Ripponlea . I’m so disappointed at the lack of professionalism and care shown by the Ripponlea vets.

Highly reccomend! My puppy loves going to the vet because she always gets so many cuddles from the vet nurses. The vet's (I've seen a few different ones) are very patient with my questions, explaining things clearly, and never make me feel stupid or like a bad fur-Mum for doing something wrong. If I come in for an injury I'll get a call the next day to check on us. A few times as well I've called a few times for general advice (today was about worming tablets) and the vet nurse was more than happy to go through the options with me. It's very comforting to know I can call for accurate information. They really do have your pets best interest at heart.

The team across the Evervet group have been lovely to deal with. I have called multiple times in a bit of a panic because my puppy wasn't well, and there has always responded with care and concern. Our puppy attended puppy preschool at Evervet South Yarra which was really well run thanks to Riki and Sylvie. We regularly see Dr. Julia at Ripponlea Vet Hospital who we love - our puppy runs through the doors at the vet every visit! On a public holiday, Evervet Prahran was a big help with giving us some advice over the phone and offered to see us in person also.

I took my dog Frankie today for leaky discharge eyes and some shots. I was amazed at Dr Peters compassion for my animal. He sat on the floor with her and bonded with her while we talked. He took the time to explain everything to me and thourally examined my dog. When it came to getting the injections of course i was worried and nervous about my dogs reaction. My dog did not even flinch and it was over in half a second. If i ever moved away from this area, i would travel far to bring my dog here again. Great job guys truly impressed with the staff and service

Want to say a massive thank you to Chelsea. I brought in my two cats after seeing a different vet and feeling a bit let down and worried about one of them. She listened to everything I had to say and made me feel heard & like my concerns were valid without dramatising the situation. The whole experience was really welcoming and enjoyable and both my cats were super at ease. I’ve left feeling a bit teary (happy tears) and relieved that everything is ok and they were in good hands today. Thank you so much to Chelsea & the rest of the team.

It’s nice to find a vet clinic that is owned and run by vets who are passionate about what they do. You can see this through the care and love shown towards your pet, the information provided throughout, the updates and the follow ups making sure everything is okay post-care. Exceptional, friendly, honest service, you can feel at ease knowing the right decisions are going to be made and your pet is in safe hands. You’re not left with questions scratching your head. On a very sad day we were given the opportunity by this wonderful clinic to say our last Goodbye to our dear Savanna. With such care and compassion the vet allowed our entire family into the room, including furry ones, to be there as Savanna took her last breath. I held her head as she dropped off and family provided continuous pats. We were then given the space cry, laugh and remember our dear girl before we left her. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for allowing us this very important Goodbye!

I simply have to write a review of this Veterinarian. From booking in, to the actual appointment itself, the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. They could fit my cat in for a check-up with very short notice and were incredibly accommodating to his adventurous attitude. They provided a thorough examination, advice and recommendations. I will definitely be back. Renfri and I both appreciated the visit, and for a cat that doesn't like car rides, he was very calm and did not meow once in the ride home.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Wish I found them sooner, only reached out for an urgent vet appointment for when I was moving overseas with my cat. They stayed open later for me, I did not feel rushed at any point, they went truly above and beyond for me and my boy Seth even though we were both strangers to the clinic and not repeat patients. They even let me borrow a carrier and return it the next day as I didn't have access to mine. Truly exceptional, caring service

Wonderful service, took our Dash in for her annual vaccination but we found out she wasn't due for a couple of months (this was the first time we visited this clinic). After updating us that Dash wasn't yet due for her injections they gave her a few treats and trimmed her nails & didn't charge us for the visit. Good to know there is a Vet in our local neighbourhood that really cares about our pets as much as we do! Thanks again.

Overall just a poor experience. Took my dog in... and all i received is poor customer service and an overpriced and not thorough service. Got overcharged without consent. The vet (this irish lady) didn't ask or inform me of the extra $80 charge for a minor check up. $144 is not acceptable. Finally found a great vet who did the same procedure and only charged my $60 for a consultation and biopsy. Shame on you!

Dr Jeannie took us in hand and was so professional, caring and very dedicated and experienced. I am so glad we found this clinic it really is THE BEST Vet clinic I have been to. The entire team All genuinely love animals, there is no ego. We were treated us with friendly respect and care. They understand that Fur children are precious family members. I Highly Recommend this clinic to any other Cat families !

Very disappointing experience today. Our dog who has been a patient there for many years has kennel cough. Unable to get the dog there for an appt due to current family trauma and I wanted to talk to vet on duty and ask advice in regards to treatment. Vet would not speak to me. Got trainee vet nurse who had no clue. Very unhelpful. So much for being a long term client. No care or interest Whatsoever ‍♀️

You never want to say goodbye to your pets but if you have to say farewell you want to do it in a space where all the staff genuinely feel your pain and do the best to help your pet and you through the difficult time. Everyone was kind, considerate and genuinely compassionate. Communication of the options and difficult decisions was handled well. I always felt you had my pet's welfare paramount. Thank you.

Can't recommend Dr Jennie enough! Had to bring in our kitten twice for cat flu and Jennie had a terrific manner with him, and explained everything to me in a clear and friendly way. The receptionists are lovely too. I highly recommend them to anyone especially if you find taking your pet to the vet to be a stressful experience - Dr Jennie puts any worries at ease. :)

This vet clinic is just so lovely. My first time today as I had an emergency visit right on their closing time for a doggo that was suddenly limp in one leg and in pain. I found everyone at the practice friendly and down to earth. From making the booking to the welcome you get entering reception, it was a stress-free experience. Our visit was with Dr Farlie. Dr Farlie was very gentle with our British Blue. I would recommend paying them a visit. Ollie the BSH was too tired to write this review himself but sends his thanks.

I had such a brilliant experience at Ripponlea Vet with Doctor Jennie and Nurse Michele. They were attentive, genuinely caring and thorough in preparing my now Senior cat for travel! It was because of Jennie that we had a very manageable trip and I can't thank her and the team enough. I highly recommend them- the best Vets I've been to in a long time!

i took my cat here today to see Dr Jennie. iv never had a cat before and it was my first time to a vet. Dr Jennie was extremely helpful and super friendly. my cat was so calm and relaxed here. he even really liked her. The receptionist was lovely aswell. The whole experience for me and my cat was awesome. highly recommend this place.

Jennie and the team are experienced, caring & easy to communicate with. I've had 2 surgeries now for my whippet at Ripponlea Veterinary Hospital and both times he has left with a bounce in his step and full of beans. I would trust my pups life with this team and I'm so grateful for their guidance and care for my most precious friend!

found a sick ringtail possum on the footpath and when I called up wildlife victoria they arranged for me to drop it off here. the staff were friendly, and they called me up to let me know that it recovered and had been re-released. I think it's awesome that they take care of wildlife and are so proactive about community engagement.

Brought my cat Mimi in who is usually very stressed leaving the house to go anywhere but Dr Kate was very compassionate, gentle and patient with her and I think Mimi even liked her (which is new for her with people she has never met)! I am very happy with the service and how thorough the examination was and I definitely recommend.

When I arrived there with the cat I found people who work there were so helpful. They checked the microchip of this kitty and found the owner . Happy end Thanks! I wish it should be compulsory at every vet clinics of Victoria to check the microchip when animals arrive with their owners. Too many pets are disappearing. …

Staff are so lovely and accommodating, we took our puppy to get vaccinated and the vet was super helpful in providing us non bias opinions and professional advice! We've also signed out puppy up for puppy school, the first session was great! vets are very experiences and take great care in providing the best care for pets ❤❤

I visited Ripponlea Vet for the first time this week and now I can't imagine taking Solomon anywhere else. Everyone there was so welcoming and pleasant, Solomon actually enjoyed his visit! The vets were professional, knowledgeable and very caring. I have every confidence that Solomon will be in good hands for future visits.

We've had an exceptional experience at Ripponlea Vet Hospital - we lost our five month old puppy, and after finding her safe and sound, we took her to see the team at RVH, and they were so attentive and caring (at what was a very traumatic time). We also did went to Puppy Preschool at RVH and would highly recommend!

Unfortunately I found this clinic to be a let down. I don’t feel like info was passed onto the vet about my pet’s condition when the nurse had asked me questions via the phone, I also wasn’t given much instruction from the receptionist about how to give my pet their medication, which led to an over dosage.

I found my guinea pig with an eye poke. I called them and, even if they don’t usually treat small pets, they gave me a same day appointment. Everyone was so welcoming and professional. Doctor Kelly was great as all the rest of the staff. Thanks from Gino, he is feeling amazing now …

Dr Kate was wonderful with our border terrier, Gus. She is very professional and makes you and your dog feel calm and relaxed. She explains everything to you and makes you feel as if you can ask her any question. Thank you so much Ripponlea Vet. We will be back.

We really enjoy going to Ripplonlea Veterinary Hospital, explain perfectly everything and make sure that you understand everything. They are so patient and loving with our puppy. My puppy Lomita and my family would totally recommend visiting them.

Took my kitten for its first vaccination and saw Dr Jennie .. She was very very caring and gave me lots of information about diet and training.. The surgery is close to home, and has a nice feel about it. I am glad I tried it and will go back ..

The team at Ripponlea Vet are so caring and wonderful. They take their time during consultations to be thorough and to make sure we understand everything. We never feel rushed. Plus Kate always messages after to make sure our Rufus is ok.
